<Aqua> *Teddy does so, looking around
<DeathStar> 6* The 8 doors on either side look rotted due to being made of wood, and the starcase at the far end is made of stone
<Jackieness> <XX> "Its like a tomb in here."
<Seraphna> Sera> "How long ago was he even here? Doesn't seem like a Nazi base."
<DeathStar> <Cheryl> The Nazi base isn't here
<Aqua> Teddy> This monastery must be ancient.
<Seraphna> Seraphna> "Mmm, true, just thought there might be henchmen or something..." *she peers around, moving to check one of the doors*
<DeathStar> <Aurica> Logically, Rassy must have taken it over when he was brought back and the Nazis from the base help him get supplies.

<Aqua> Teddy> Dah, could be independent of each othern
<DeathStar> 6* The door looks openable
<DeathStar> 6* Taiga wanders down the hallway
<Seraphna> * Seraphna opens it carefully, peering in.
<Aqua> *Teddy keeps an eye on Taiga
<DeathStar> 6* It seems to be a room for monks to rest in; there's a desk and a bed
<DeathStar> 6* Taiga seems to be looking around
<DeathStar> 6* She studies the stairway at the end, looking up at it
<Seraphna> * Seraphna pulls out a light and steps in, she shines it over the bed and desk, before approaching the deak.
<DeathStar> 6* Dryingh out parchments ar eon the desk
<DeathStar> 6* Aurica and Cheryl take doors on the right, opening them
<DeathStar> 6* Cheryl studies the monk room, and Aurica her's. TAiga steps back and opens her door and bnlinks. "This looks like a mess hall!"
<Seraphna> * Seraphna peers over them carefully, handling them as gently as possible in case they're old and crumbly.

<DeathStar> 6* It seems to be a diary, dated back in the late 1800s
<Jackieness> <XX> *moves to one of the doors on the left and tries that one*
<Seraphna> * Seraphna hmms, she then pulls out her bag o' things and grabs a transparent bonding agent spray for cosmetic fixes, she gently mists the pages, using it to help preserve the text, then quietly reads over what the diart says, continuing to be extra careful of the pages.
<DeathStar> 6* It talks about how the monestary is being closed due to an evil in the mountains
<DeathStar> "The light of our lord does not even shine in this forsaken pla--"

<DeathStar> 6* XX finds what appears to be a long room leading along the side of the building and downward
<Seraphna> Seraphna> "Hrm, an evil eh?" *she pulls out a small case and packs the journal away in it gently, sealing it to protect it and puts it away before checking once over to see if she missed anything, then exiting the room*

<DeathStar> 6* Aurica enters her monk room, as does Cheryl, holding robes and a cross, and Aurica holds snow foxes

<Seraphna> Seraphna> "So I found a diary, it claims thatr the place was abandoned due to something evil in the mountain."
<Aqua> *Teddy checks a room

<DeathStar> 6* Teddy finds the ceiling caved in on this room; Aurica pets her foxes, who wiggle happily, peering at Chii

<Jackieness> <XX> *moves down the long hallway and peers down at the downward path*
<Seraphna> * Seraphna hrms and moves over to peek into the mess hall.
<Aqua> *Teddy sifts through what he can
<DeathStar> 6* The mess hall has many rotten tables and plates all over, with a kitchen in the back. It seems to stretch to another wing of the monestary and connect to it. XX can't see where the downward path goes from the main hallway, and would hav e to go down the branching off ward path
<DeathStar> 6* Teddy would find nothing in the room due to the hole in the ceiling; though shrieks from outside can be heard
<Jackieness> <XX> "I can't see where this leads!"
<Seraphna> Seraphna> "Where's Taiga...?"
<DeathStar> 6* Cheryl and Aurica enter the mess hall and peer about
<DeathStar> 6* Taiga makes a noise from the kitchen area

<Jackieness> <XX> *heads back from her hallway and toward the sound of the screams*

<DeathStar> 6* Inside is pulpy smelling liquid and rotting flesh, with innards and lard and skeletal remains inside, putrified so much that it's a solid liquified mess
<DeathStar> 6* A rat is on the edge of the cauldron, its tiny nose wiggling

<Seraphna> Seraphna> "Hrm... not very hygenic."
<DeathStar> <Aurica> *hides her fox's eyes*

<Seraphna> * Seraphna sighs, "This is how the health inspectors get you." *she eyes the rat* "What're you looking at? Afraid we'll take dinner?"

<DeathStar> 6* Taiga looks around, insides emptied, and sees the second wing through a window, but the entrance to it from the kitchen is locked with chains

<Seraphna> Seraphna> "Mmm, locked on this side? Would be meant to keep something in."

<Jackieness> <XX> "...maybe its the larder."
<DeathStar> 6* Cheryl grabs the chain and breaks it
<Seraphna> Seraphna> "Must be some really bad food. So, do we go this way, or down into the abyss... err... okay."
<DeathStar> <Cheryl> We won't learn until we go in; the only other choice was those stairs
<DeathStar> <Aurica> Or the downway hallway, yeah.
<DeathStar> 6* Cheryl opens and steps into the west wing; the air feels heavier and more evil
<Seraphna> * Seraphna frowns, "Feel that?"
<DeathStar> 6* There's a broken set of stairs matching the east wing's and 8 sets of doors, matching the other sides
<Jackieness> <XX> "The atmosphere here is oppressive. What is worse than something that eats people then?"
<Seraphna> Seraphna> "Something that eats Dragons. But I don't think this was the case. Not a lot of Lunarian monks."
<Aqua> Teddy> Something that eats robot bears.

<DeathStar> 6* Cheryl opens the door XX did on the other side, and another descending stairway
<Aqua> *Teddy picks her up and puts her on his shoulder

<Jackieness> <XX> "Ok, this conversation is getting annoying."
<DeathStar> <Taiga> What doesn't annoy you?
<DeathStar> 6* Cheryl takes note, rapidly opening ot her doors and seeing it's monk rooms. Some have parchments, most do not
<DeathStar> <Aurica> With the broken stairway, it seems that hallway is it.
<Seraphna> * Seraphna checks some of the parchments as they go along.
<Jackieness> <XX> "Anywya, its like we just stepped into a mirror version of the monastery we were just in."
<DeathStar> "The beast roams the monestary, using us to sustain it's life. I am the last one. My time is coming. Christ Lord, protect me, I should have nev er come to this forsaken place."
<DeathStar> 6* Cheryl peers down the hallway, then at the others
<DeathStar> <Cheryl> Go back to the east side, or down here?
<DeathStar> <Aurica> *having put the foxes in pockets, considerS*
<DeathStar> <Taiga> I say lret the bear decide
<Aqua> Teddy> Seem to be mirrored, so makes no difference really.
<Seraphna> * Seraphna reads it aloud to them and hrms. "Teddy has a point. Either way we move into the unknown."
<Aqua> Teddy> Will come out in either same room or connecting rooms.
<Seraphna> Seraphna> "We've already opened this path and if there is something in here, we can't leave it to find others."
<Seraphna> Seraphna> "So I say we carry on."
<Jackieness> <XX> "Either way, those things from the mountain are likely still outside the monastery, so we're stuck in here anyway."
<DeathStar> 6* Cheryl moves for the hallway and walks downward

<Nihao> <Chii> Cherry, should I get us some back-up?
<DeathStar> <Cheryl> We're hours away from the others
<DeathStar> ,cheryl> You sure you can get to them in time?
<DeathStar> 6* As they move along, the ground begins to turn to dirt and the walls begin to open up so the cold weather blows in and they can see the ridge they are moving along, with only a roof above them and a left wall
<DeathStar> 6* The moon shines down from the right, showing if one fell out the half right wall it would bne far down
<Seraphna> SEraphna> "If we need someone I can get Elayne to bring them. We share a special link."
<DeathStar> 6* Taiga leans over the side
<Seraphna> Seraphna> "How and why did they get something so deep anyway?"
<Jackieness> <XX> "Perhaps they didn't build it. Maybe they just claimed a much older structure."
<Nihao> <Chii> No. But I always have back-up on my side." 6She grins.
<Seraphna> SEraphna> "That's entirely possible, though they were here in the 1800s, I believe."
<Nihao> <Chii> Undine? Phoenix? Aether? I know you love Celsius.
<DeathStar> 6* Cheryl rubs her back, smiling about Celsius, when they reach what appears to be a horse area
<DeathStar> 6* The shrieks can be heard in the distance.
<DeathStar> 6* Cheryl looks about as they are outside, a little lower on the mountain, but with only a wood gate between them and the darkness outside
<Seraphna> * Seraphna hrms. "Pretty deep for a horse stable, but that means there are other entrances."
<Seraphna> Seraphna> "And... we're in one. Okay."
<Jackieness> <XX> "This building is very strangely arranged."
<DeathStar> <Cheryl> We must have looped around the side
<Seraphna> Seraphna> "Shall we head back in before we attract undue attention?"
<Nihao> <Chii> Unyielding ice heed my call, bring forth the frigid northern winds, encase the unworthy in endless winter... Hear me, Celsius!
<DeathStar> 6* She looks about; she walks back to the hallway slowly
<Nihao> 6Chii holds out her hands, forming a portal of mirror-like ice for Celsius to pass through.
<Seraphna> * Seraphna starts heading back, raising a brow at the magical girl talk.
<DeathStar> 6* Nothing seems to happen at first for Chii; perhaps due to being a Class Reality
<DeathStar> 6* Then a tiny chibi version of Celsius pops out
<DeathStar> 6* All serious face

<DeathStar> 6* Righti n the sweet spot where you can't reach

<Seraphna> * Seraphna sighs and moves over to XX, she hikes up the woman's shirt and works on a quick patch up.

<Seraphna> * Seraphna moves over and peers over the stonework. "Either there's a lever or maybe a hidden switch..."

<Aqua> *Teddy shoulder charges it
<Nihao> 6Chii picks up Celsius, puffing her cheeks and looking dumbfounded.

<Jackieness> <XX> *moves out of the bear path!

<DeathStar> 6* Teddy cracks it, and the wall shatters open

<DeathStar> 6* The tunnel leads them upward back into the monestary, and the torch holderts have skulls
<DeathStar> 6* The evil atmosphere gets more apphresive
<Aqua> *Teddy makes a face "Is not right here."

<Jackieness> <XX> "They went all out to say this place is evil."
<DeathStar> 6* Celsius stabs at the air

<DeathStar> 6* Taiga trudges along, and Aurica's foxes tremble in pockets

<Seraphna> Seraphna> "Okay, the evil is just plain starting to be..."
<DeathStar> 6* They soon reach a wooden wall. Cheryl pushes it
<DeathStar> 6* And they find themselves in a library, the books rotting in places. However, one section is completely emptied out
<Seraphna> * Seraphna raises a brow. "One of these is not like the others."
<DeathStar> 6* There's a door on the far end and a ladder going upward to some third floro in the dark
<Jackieness> <XX> "Any indication what sort of books were kept here?"
<DeathStar> 6* Cheryl moves over and glances at the previous shelf, opening them uip
<DeathStar> <Cheryl> These talk about various religious, some dark arts practiced in various parts of the world...
<DeathStar> <Cheryl> But mostly theories
<Seraphna> * Seraphna glances over the titles, trying reason out what was removed.
<Jackieness> <XX> "Maybe they took the real magic books then."
<Jackieness> <XX> *points at a spot on the empty shelf* "That was where 'How to Wake up Cthulu' was sitting before they took it."

<DeathStar> 6* Taiga climbs the ladder up to the third floor

<Seraphna> Seraphna> "Lord of the Deepest Abyss, Underwater God of Chaos, He Who Sleeps in the Depths... he's got a few titles. Big guy, tentacle face. Flappy wings. Owes me three fiddy."

<DeathStar> 6* Cheryl looks around; it's strangely quiet above, no sound of Taiga moving
<Jackieness> <XX> *walks to the ladder and then looks up*
<DeathStar> 6* It's extremely dark, and no light seems to touch it
<Seraphna> * Seraphna frowns and shines her flashlight up.
<Jackieness> <XX> "I don't see Taiga up there. Can't see anything."
<Seraphna> Seraphna> "Can't leave the kid alone."
<DeathStar> 6* Cheryl looks worried and moves for the ladder
<DeathStar> 6* Celsius flies up and vanishes into the dark

<DeathStar> 6* Aurica grabs the ladder and climbs up
<Nihao> 6Chii makes a face and leaps over Cheryl onto the ladder, climbing

<Seraphna> * Seraphna poofs and lands on Cheryl's chest. Riding her up.

<DeathStar> 6* The group as they reach the top find themselves in a dark mist and a bell tower area, with a dark growth everywhere, and all over the bell, and the window is covered in it. There's a single door, not covered, and Taiga is near it, studying it. Its hard to breathe, so Taiga and Aurica aren't. Celsius is flying about when the growth goes tentacle and snags her, pulling her toward it

<DeathStar> 6* Cheryl leaps up after Teddy and the others, eyering tentacles grab Aurica and pull her in
<DeathStar> 6* Some wrap about XX's tits
<Aqua> *Teddy rushes to grapple one of the tentacles
<Jackieness> <XX> "What?! Tentacle rape!"
<Nihao> 6Chii draws a kunai and leaps to slice the tentaclegrowth
<Seraphna> * Seraphna frowns and leaps off Cheryl, forming back into a half dragon, claws coming out.

<DeathStar> 6* XX gets more wrapped up and her clothes ripped off as she's dragged in
<DeathStar> 6* Teddy begins to grapple, it feels super strong as it pulls him in
<DeathStar> 6* Aurica yelps as she's ripped off clothing wise ans pulled in. Taiga is grabbed by her leg and pulled along, more grabbing her; the source seems to be on the bell
<DeathStar> 6* Cheryl is wrapped about trhe waiost, pointing, but her hand can't lift
<Seraphna> * Seraphna peers about, looking fro what is attached to the tentackles, she breathse in, then out, sending an air blast at the bell.
<DeathStar> 6* She goes to warn when a tentacle dives into her mouth to shut her up. Celsius meanwhile is sunk into blank ooze
<Nihao> <Chii> Celsius, fight!
<Nihao> 6Chii draws her guns and fires at the bell
<DeathStar> 6* The bell dongs and the tentacles let everyone go in pain. Celsius busts out and freezes the bell
<Jackieness> <XX> "Now I'm really mad!" *stands back up*
<Aqua> *Teddy digs in, trying to pull it back
<DeathStar> 6* Teddy breaks it
<DeathStar> 6* The frozen bell begins to melt if doesn't hit it
<Seraphna> * SEraphna leaps at it and delivers a dragon punch at the bell.

<DeathStar> 6* The bell shatters and all the ooze dries up
<Jackieness> <XX> "What was that thing?!"

<DeathStar> <Rasputin> It is unusual for villagers to come to me. *he says in thick Russian*

<DeathStar> 6* He is wearing a thick black coat and looks well trimmed and propper

<DeathStar> <Cheryl> According to this, the failures might lead to that transformation - a state of everlasting pain and torment, but incrediblely strength, speed, and sight
