<Seraphna> * Sia sits feeding herself and Kaji, cooing at her as she feeds her bite by bite.
<@Kit> 6Aschae sits on the bed since Gemane keeps pulling her up to it and sips tea.
01<@DeathStar> 6* Kaji finally gets fed up at tiny bites and grabs Sia's ham and ducks into her clothing to eat it
<Seraphna> * Sia squeaks and blushes, "Y-Young lady!" *she pouts and eats the bites instead*
01<@DeathStar> 6* Thomas eyes his food, awkwardly using his left hand to eat, then speaks finally. He looks like he stayed up all night. "We should buy horses and get supplies to leave town unless you all wish to find more jobs at the Hunter guild."
01<@DeathStar> 6* Jean happily leans against Nephilim as she eats; Rose peers at the food, and takes bites of everything given to her, chewing blankly
<@Kit> 6Nephilim gulps down milk, still proclaiming it the best sustenance evar.

01<@DeathStar> <Thomas> We will likely arrive at the capital several days before the others, but we can't forsee everything

<Seraphna> Sia> "We're not the ones in a rush too... so we can afford the time. Food, tents, feed and cover for the horsies, horsies themselves..."

<Seraphna> * Sia giggles and nods. "Rope is also useful in repairing things. We use it all the time on ships. Can't go anywhere without rope."

01<@DeathStar> 6* It has become dark. Wynne and Yenna, who have arrived in their cart, have packed up in the middle of the village, peering out into the dark
01<@DeathStar> 6* The tired warriors stand guard, waiting for the monsters to strike; women and children have gone into hiding in the huts
<Seraphna> * Seth keeps a watch out with his own keen eyes, keeping his senses on alert for signs of the enemy. Kaelan looks to Valen quietly as she checks over her sword.
<Xanatos> 6Valen quietly works on wrapping the weed up into balls.
<Seraphna> Kaelan> *low voice* "What's the plan again?"
01<@DeathStar> 6* Wynne peers from hiding behind Yewn
<@Kit> <Yewn> Y'guys had a plan? Ye jus' said ye'd help 'fore botherin' t'make one.
<Seraphna> Kaelan> "Valen does, he's got a keen sense for plans."
<Xanatos> <Valen> If I can get these wrapped up in balls, we can light them and toss them out, doing something similar to what Zeal did, without as much of the fire.
<Seraphna> Kaelan> "So... a form of smoke weapon?"
<Xanatos> <Valen> Yes that's the idea. With a mood changing smoke.
<Seraphna> * Kaelan frowns, "Perhaps we should wrap clothes over our mouths to prevent the smoke from affecting us."

<Xanatos> <Valen> Ah yes that's a good idea, spread the word to the warriors.
01<@DeathStar> 6* There's a roar in the night suddenly
<@Kit> <Yewn> Ah hell...
<Seraphna> * Kaelan nods and starts doing so, spreading the word to cover their mouths with cloth, going quicker as she hears the roar.
01<@DeathStar> 6* Monsters, mostly tigroars with spikes, begin to move in from all sides
<Seraphna> * Seth peers about and pulls up his bow, taking shots as soon as he can with the Path of the Arrow.
<Xanatos> 6Valen pauses and frowns, getting to his feet, he wraps some cloth around his face and begins to try and light the balls to start tossing them out on the outskirts.
01<@DeathStar> 6* The warriors seem distracted by the monsters, some listening; as the monsters rush in, deeretards begin to rush in faster, their spiked heads ready to ram
01<@DeathStar> 6* Wynne frowns. "They're comin' from al' sides
<Seraphna> * Kaelan raises her shield and readies her sword, she casts a Gale Burst at one of the Deertards charging in.
<Xanatos> 6Valen tchs and pulls up the crossbow on his arm, aiming to fire at the closest enemy.
01<@DeathStar> 6* The deeretard is knocked backwards comically; as the balls fly about, they land and begin to make smoke that drifts about.
<@Kit> <Yewn> Told ye comin' with these guys'd be dangerous..
01<@DeathStar> 6* Wynne sulks
<Xanatos> <Valen> They're too fast for it to affect them. 6He hisses out.
01<@DeathStar> 6* Valen's arrow strikes a spiked antler of a deeretard, rushing in at him angerily
<Seraphna> * Seth aims and fires a shot at one of teh deertards, aiming around the antlers at the back of the shoulder.
01<@DeathStar> 6* One bearoar picks up a ball and sniffs it, sitting and eating at it
<@Kit> 6Yewn strokes Wynne's back. 1"Do nae worry. Ah'll keep y'safe." 6She brings a hand back and punches into the ground, bringing up a wall of earth in front of Valen.
01<@DeathStar> 6* Seth staggers one, and it rushes at him, closing the distance so an arrow won't be useful
01<@DeathStar> <Wynne> Aye, ah believe you
<Xanatos> 6Valen pauses and takes a few steps back, pulling his sword and shield out.
01<@DeathStar> 6* The deeretard goes to ram Valen
01<@DeathStar> 6* One tigoar leaps in at Kaelan from behind
<@Kit> 6Yewn focuses to keep the earth in front of Valen.
01<@DeathStar> 6* The deeretard rams at the earth and breaks it, but gts stunned
<Seraphna> * Kaelan turns with a Slash at the tigroar, growling.
<Seraphna> * Seth moves quickly to leap as the deertard closes in and fires an Earth projectile at it when he lands.
01<@DeathStar> 6* The tigoar is cut in half, shrieking
<Xanatos> 6Valen shifts forward and jerks around in an attempt to leap onto the things back, holding himself to keep the spiked antler from impaling him. EASY.
01<@DeathStar> 6* Seth knocks the deeretard with the projectile and it is killed; a tigoar leaps at him as he lands, pinning him

01<@DeathStar> 6* The deeretard shakes it's body in a rage, charging at the cart with Yewn now
01<@DeathStar> 6* It rushes along with Valen
<Seraphna> * Seth groans and kicks at it's underbelly hard as Kaelan rushes to him.
01<@DeathStar> 6* The tigoar snarls at being kicked and bites at his shoulder
<Xanatos> 6Valen tchs and reaches out to grab one of the spiked antlers, tugging to try and dig it to the right.
01<@DeathStar> 6* The deeretard jerks rightward, knocking Kaelan down comically
<@Kit> 6Yewn darts out from behind the cart as Valen grabs at it and dashes in, punching into the side of its skull
<Seraphna> * Seth attempts to slug it in the face as it moves to bites, shifting his shoulder to try and avoid the teeth.
<Seraphna> * Kaelan yelps and rolls, moving to get up and keep at Seth.
01<@DeathStar> 6* The deeretard gets punched, staggering and falls over
01<@DeathStar> 6* A bearoar smacks Kaelan, coming in from the dark; she'd notice the lights from torches in the village have been knocked down
<Xanatos> 6Valen falls with it, quickly moving to get to his feet, he glances around quickly to get an idea of the battle.
<Seraphna> * Kaelan rolls back, and then blasts it with a Gale Burst in retaliation.
01<@DeathStar> 6* Valen's eyes, better in the dark, would see monsters attacking the village from every angle; 4 warriors are dead already, and one bearoar is ripping at a hut - the rest of the battle is masked in darkness out of his eye sight
<Seraphna> Kaelan> "We need light!"
01<@DeathStar> 6* Seth slugs th tigoar, making it mad
01<@DeathStar> 6* The bearoar barely rocks from the burst and advances on Kaelan; maybe a Lv. 3 could knock it back
<Xanatos> 6Valen tchs and quickly run towards the bearroar, shifting to leap up onto it's back, using his sword to impale it if possible to hang on.
<@Kit> <Yewn> Damn it!" 6She shifts and makes a run at the bearoar attacking huts. 1"'Ey! Ye stop that now!"
<Seraphna> * Seth grabs at one of his arrows and thrusts it at the Tigraor's eye. Kaelan backs away and thrusts her hand into a gauntlet. She peers at the bearoar. "I think it's time we evened the playing field." She taps the run on Anima T's Gauntlet, having moved to make sure shew as clear of friends.

01<@DeathStar> 6* The bearoar roars as Valen gets on it, shaking side to side in rage as it's stabbed. It turns it's head and bites at Valen's face
01<@DeathStar> 6* The tigger screams and goes dead weight.
<@Kit> 6Yewn leaps and jump kicks into the bearoar's left knee.
01<@DeathStar> 6* The bearoar peers up at a giant Anima T in the middle of the village
<Xanatos> 6Valen jerks himself back and brings his shield up in defense incase he's not able to get back in time.
01<@DeathStar> 6* The bearoar is kicked. In the knee. It isn't effective. The bear smacks Yewn in the face with claws. It's super effective
<Seraphna> * Seth rolls it off him and gets up, looking about with his demon sight to look for targets, moving away from the Tigroar as he lifts his bow.
<Seraphna> * Anima T looks down at it and shifts to step on it.
<@Kit> 6Yewn topples several times and rolls painfully out of view
01<@DeathStar> 6* The Anima T crushes a bear, the bones crushing sickeningly and guts flying out. Wynne shifts to pull Yewn to safety and treat her face
<Xanatos> 6Valen attempts to rip the sword out and fall to his feet, then attempts to slice out for the same knee that Yewn attacked.
01<@DeathStar> 6* Many tiggers are near huts; Anima T is in the middle of the village, having to walk carefully
01<@DeathStar> 6* Valen cuts the knee off and the bearoar topples over, roaring in pain
<Seraphna> * Anima T then shifts, careful of the village huts, and lets out a roar. It's arm raises and forms a giant sword in hand.
<Xanatos> 6* Valen moves to slice it's throat and dispatch it quickly, mumbling some sort of 'religious' saying.
01<@DeathStar> 6* The monsters jerk at the roar and begin to rush off in fear.
<Seraphna> Seth> "...Looooud." *he groan and aims at a Tigroar, firing his bow, aiming for it's head*
01<@DeathStar> 6* Seth drops one of the retreating tigroars; they all run south like the one man said.
<Seraphna> Anima T> "Now we follow."
01<@DeathStar> 6* All about on the ground is 170 copper; the 4 dead warriors lay there, lootable
<@Kit> <Yewn> Damn, damn.." 6She yowls in pain. 1"Did ah shield m'self in time Wynnie..? O' am ah scarface now?" 6She groans.
<Xanatos> 6Valen gets to his feet and moves over to kneel by the deertard, peering it over.
01<@DeathStar> <Wynne> Yer fine; just some light scratches
01<@DeathStar> 6* It's out cold
<Seraphna> * Seth shifts, moving to follow after them, sniffing, keeping on their trail.
<@Kit> <Yewn> Ah'm still bea'ful?
01<@DeathStar> <Wynne> Al'ways
01<@DeathStar> 6* One bearoar remains stoned outside the village
<Seraphna> * Kaelan slowly guides Anima T out of the village, careful of the huts.
<@Kit> <Yewn> Y'know why, right?" 6She sniffs.
<Xanatos> <Valen> Hm. 6He glances over to see if Yewn is okay before nodding slightly and then moves to see if he can tie the deertard up and keep it from beign able to attack anyone.
01<@DeathStar> <Wynee> Aye.
01<@DeathStar> 6* Wynne gathers the copper for them, to cheer her up
<@Kit> 6Yewn smiles. 1"Ah, gettin' money an' blessed by th'earth itself. It's a curse bein' beautiful an' wealthy."
01<@DeathStar> <Wynne> Ye'll have no scars; just relax for a night. 6* She hugs Yewn and applies salve to her face, and coppers into her pockets
01<@DeathStar> 6* Kaelan steps on the stoned bear on the way out
<Xanatos> 6Valen seems satisfied and tells one of the living soldiers to keep an eye on it, moving to head south now.
<@Kit> <Yewn> W-well that was jus' mean..
<Seraphna> * Seth keeps on moving after the beasts, tracking them with skill and scent if possible. Kaelan shifts to move after him in Anima T movign a hand down for Valen to hop on if he wants.
<Xanatos> 6Valen nods and does so, climbing up. I forgot you even had that.
<Seraphna> * Kaelan moves after Seth. "Couldn't use it in the small cave."
01<@DeathStar> 6* The Anima T makes squishy sounds for a little while until the bear is wiped off and they're on their way
01<@DeathStar> -SCENE SHIFT/TIME JUMP-
01<@DeathStar> Location: Kalah
01<@DeathStar> 6* Gemane walks out of a shop with a bag of accessories, joining the others as they are near an item store; as they walk in, they see various items to buy, the prices written under each item. The level up and stat increases are all there as well - and magic level ups. There's also a bank nearby, a Phan and Pher one
<Seraphna> Sia> "You think this stuff is real?"
<@Kit> <Nephilim> Of course it is.
01<@DeathStar> <Gemane> Mmm, I don't know. 6* She eyes tents costing 25 silver
<@Kit> 6Aschae follows Gemane, holding her purchases.
01<@DeathStar> <GEmane> LEts see...one for me and Aschae and Nephilim, one for Jean and Sia...one for Thomas and Tal.
<Seraphna> Sia> "What about Seraphim and Rosie?"
01<@DeathStar> <Gemane> And one for them.
01<@DeathStar> 6* Seraphim and Rose remain behind at the inn
<@Kit> <Nephilim> I don't think we should leave those two along if we can help it.
<Seraphna> Sia> "Why? Seraphim is trustworthy."
<Xanatos> <Tal> They might EAT each other.

<@Kit> <Nephilim> We don't know anything about 'Rose.' Just a few days ago she was killing us off.
01<@DeathStar> 6* GEmane down 100 of Nephilim's silver and gets the four tents, then buys her own rope
<Seraphna> Sia> "Seraphim won't entirely..."
01<@DeathStar> <Gemane> If she goes evil, Seraphim will kill her, I'm sure - she's protective of Aschae
<Xanatos> <Tal> Eat each other. Hu hu hu.

<Seraphna> * Sia gets a rope. "Anyone need new cloaks? Waterskins too, we'll need large ones if we're crossing the desert."

01<@DeathStar> 6* Jean leans over to peer at various things, pointing out various herbs to buy for healing. Gemane uses Aschae's money
01<@DeathStar> <Gemane> Well, do you want to share a tent with one of them instead?
01<@DeathStar> 6* The rope costs Sia 100 copper
<Seraphna> * Sia treasures her rope.
<@Kit> <Nephilim> Uh..." 6She makes a face, one being a vampire the other who knows.
<Xanatos> <Tal> I will. 6He grins.
01<@DeathStar> <Gemane> Hm mm mm. You'll stay with Thomas, naughty boy
<Seraphna> * Sia giggles and blushes shyly.
<Xanatos> 6Tal jerks. I would be a perfect gentlemar'kus.
01<@DeathStar> 6* Gemane exits the store after getting water skins; she already bought clothing for them
<Seraphna> * Sia hops over to Jean, giving her a piece of fruit before slipping one under her cloak for Kaji and heads after Gemane shyly.
<@Kit> 6Aschae takes the new items, getting a good workout carrying it.
01<@DeathStar> 6* Jean nibble on it happily as she follows Gemane along; she moves toward the food and begins to order food that will last a long time, using Aschae's money again
<Xanatos> 6* Tal mumbles about not being trusted and sulks as he walks along.
01<@DeathStar> <Jean> I'll sleep with Rose if everyone want!
<@Kit> <Nephilim> Not alone you won't!
01<@DeathStar> 6* Jean sulks at all the dry food and meats that Gemane gets - which have been salted to preserve them. She also gets jerkies and whatnot
<Seraphna> * Sia blushes, "I don't mind her sharing our tent at all either."
<Seraphna> Sia> "I'm with her..." *she puffs her cheeks*
01<@DeathStar> <Gemane> Fruit will go bad fast in the desert, I'd think
<@Kit> <Aschae> Not if it's dried.
<Seraphna> Sia> "There are some ways to preserve them... yeah, or candied."
01<@DeathStar> 6* Gemand walks along in her noble woman's outfit, her shawl wiggling a bit. "Alright, we'll find some dried fruits."
<@Kit> 6Aschae nods beside her.
01<@DeathStar> 6* Gemane walks along the stalls and finds some, spending Nephilim's coins again
<@Kit> 6Nephilim gets a little extra for Jean.
<Xanatos> <Tal> Hm. Nephie doesn't mind you spending hr money?
01<@DeathStar> 6* Up ahead, as they reach areas with horses being sold, they'd notice the man from the other day, purchasing a well bred horse for the desert - and paying a good 50 gold for such a beast.

<Seraphna> * Sia waves at the warrior. "He's nice! Hi!"
01<@DeathStar> 6*He doesn't seem to hear Sia, climbing up on the horse, and trotting toward the city gates. Gemane hmms, peering at the horses
01<@DeathStar> <Gemane> I guess we'd need those type of horses, then? Such expensive ones, too.
<Seraphna> Sia> "We need breeds good for navigatign both the forest and sand."
<Xanatos> <Tal> I don't need a horse. 6He says with a hmph.
01<@DeathStar> <Gemane> Mmmm. I admit I don't know how to ride them either
<@Kit> <Nephilim> If it's the sand, then they might be selling sandserpents.
<Seraphna> Sia> "Well... I can't ride either... Mr. Thomas probably can."
01<@DeathStar> <Gemane> He's one man - that would only mean one horse. We'd never be able to keep up with him on foot..

<Seraphna> Sia> "Hmm..." *she frowns* "Maybe Mr. Thomas could teach us? We have some time we could take to learn."
<@Kit> <Nephilim> Sandserpents are quicker in the desert, but they don't much care for wetter areas.
01<@DeathStar> <Gemane> One doesn't learn such a thing that quickly, I imagine; this might be trouble, too - he was adding the time in on using horses, but if we can't ride them...we may actually take longer than the other group

<Seraphna> Sia> "We only need one person to drive a cart."

<Seraphna> * Sia looks around for a carriage or something to point out as example.
