Thomas, with his one arm, looks at the digger maps and tries to find one that's not got a lot of other ruins near it so that their chances of finding the gem are higher

<Seraphna> * Sia peers over the maps with interest, looking a bit shy to get too close to Thomas as she does.

<Seraphna> * Sia feeds bits of meat to Kaji, grazing food herself.

<Seraphna> * Sia blinks, "Sh... She's mine. Sorry, but Kaji isn't for sale."

01<@DeathStar> 6* After traveling 7 hours, Valen's group is running low on water and so far they haven't found water at spots Zeal marked. Now they have two choices - there's one in the wrong direction that's 2 hours away, or one in the right direction 5 hours

<kalonZombie> *Leruste is sweating like a pig, usually taking comfort within the city limits "Uuuuuuuuuugh this sucks"

<Eluere> 6Yewn's set up an umbrella to shade her and Wynne, otherwise having shed all robes and cloaks, sitting with her legs spread and her arms sprawled out, her tail barely twitching and her ears flat as she pants. 1"... Wynnnieee... ah'm.. ..s-so hot.."

<Seraphna> * Kaelan encourages her own, Seth whispers his on and sighs. "If only we were as resilient as these beasts."

01<@DeathStar> 6* As they travel, the sun bares down on them, even if it'[s lower in the sky now. At night it'll get cold.
<Seraphna> * Kaelan adjusts her hoot meant to keep the sun from scorching her. Seth looks at the lowering sun, always enjoying the colder nights.
<Xanatos> <Valen> Roast in the day, freeze at night. I hate this place.
01<@DeathStar> 6* As they walk along, they would notice something far ahead along the dunes - it looks almost like one dune is more...square shaped.
<Eluere> <Yewn> Actually y'on t'somethin' we should've been travelin' at night.
<Xanatos> 6* Valen slowly tilts his head, blinking and wondering if his eyes are just playing tricks on him.
<Seraphna> * Seth peers out. "...A shelter?"
<Seraphna> Kaelan> "...Out here? It's probably a bandit hideout."

01<@DeathStar> 6* Valen would probably realize it was good fortune that Rachael stayed with Zeal, since the desert would have taken a toil on her dainty form
01<@DeathStar> 6* As they get closer, the square shape remains; it looks no higher than any other dune. In the distance, though, they see something they haven't seen before, approaching them; it looks like a wall of sand
<Seraphna> * Seth frowns a little. "...That doesn't look good."
<Xanatos> 6Valen does give a bit of a sigh of relief to that thought, he squints as he eyes the wall of sand.
<Eluere> <Yewn> .. S-Sandstorm! Get to th'shelter!
<Xanatos> <Valen> W-what? 6He looks caught off guard.
<Seraphna> Kaelan> "No choice now, let's go!"

<Seraphna> * Kaelan and Seth urge their horses towards the shelter.
<Seraphna> Seth> "I'll risk having to sleep with bandits."

<Xanatos> 6Valen pauses and urges the carriage after the two.
01<@DeathStar> 6* Wynne tries to amke her's go faster, but with the weight of the cart, they can't pick up the speed Seth and KAelan can
<Seraphna> * Kaelan and Seth pace to stay close with the cart.
<Xanatos> <Valen> Would losing my weight help speed this thing up?
<Seraphna> Seth> "Valen, try whispering some encouragement to the horses." <Kaelan> "Or hop on mine. No staying to distract a storm."
<Eluere> 6Yewn makes a face, then leans into the cart and pulls out rope, quickly making knots, then whirls them, lassoing the other horses they're riding and ties it to the cart.
01<@DeathStar> 6* Wynne blinks at Yewn's bold move and with four horses they now seem to have more horsepower
<Xanatos> 6* Valen blinks at that and just openly asks the horses to hurry else they risk dying in the storm.
<Seraphna> Seth> "Talk to them like you'd talk to a deertard friend. Use your pretty words."
01<@DeathStar> 6* The horses seem to boost faster toward the square dune; the sandstorm getting closer. As they get nearer, they'd see that it looks like part of a ruin, made of stone

<Xanatos> 6Valen hisses a jerks forward to grab the ropes, straining to pull them togehter, calling out to the horses to calm.
<Seraphna> * Seth tries to guide his horse back in line, as does Kaelan.
01<@DeathStar> 6* The horses don't seem to be listening and the sandstorm is nearly upon them. They can attempt it one more time, but their time will be shorter; or Seth and Kaelan can cut the ropes and save themselves

There's an entrance, but not big enough for the cart to fit in, so they can lodge it in as far as it will go, but with the four horses tied up, they'll need to cut two of them free, and get those inside first, then have the other two horses walk in and wedge the cart, and pray

01<@DeathStar> 6* Kaelan and Seth get their horses inside when the sandstorm strikes the cart and knocks it over since those didn't get inside, the cart tipping over. However, being right there, Wynne grabs Yewn to dive inside
<Xanatos> 6* Valen tchs and scrambles to get himself inside, wrapping the cloak around himself to shield his eyes.
<Seraphna> * Kaelan and Seth atempt to help them all inside.
01<@DeathStar> 6* The sandstorm howls outside and the doorway begins to fill; their light begins to go out right away. Wynne feels and activates a glowstone she had on her due to thinking it was pretty
<Eluere> 6Yewn lets out more curses than any sailor's likely heard.

<Xanatos> <Valen> Losing the cart. 6He says with an annoyed hiss.

<Seraphna> * Kaelan sighs. "At least we have the horses and the supplies we had on Seth's and my own... we'll have to make do from here."

<Xanatos> <Valen> I know but that takes time. 6He lets out a sigh, slinking down to sit
<Seraphna> Kaelan> "We can use T later to dig our way out, I think. For now... let's scout a bit and set up camp. This place might have water."
<Eluere> <Yewn> We do nae have time..
<Eluere> <Yewn> This looks like a ruin. If it's gonna have any water it'd be down deep.
<Seraphna> Seth> "We got plenty of time, you going to go out in that storm?" *he smirks a bit* "We're stuck here until either we find a way out or the storm stops..."
01<@DeathStar> <Wynne> Yea, T can undig it. It'll be fine. Horses be dead, though.... poor things. That means we all ride in the cart now, ey?
<Xanatos> 6* Valen gets to his feet and hmms, peering down the hallway, he slowly begins to move down it, letting his eyes adjust as he gets away from the glowstone.
<Eluere> <Yewn> I hate t'say it, but we'll want t'dig the horses out too.
<Xanatos> <Valen> Get their water. 6He calls out.

01<@DeathStar> 6* They'll need the glowstone to travel in side the ruins if they dare
<Seraphna> Seth> "Mmm... I could use the fresh food too."
<Xanatos> 6* Valen hmms and then pauses, waiting on the others to meet up with him.
