<@Seraphna> * Sia coos at her to calm her as she rides along. Kaelan holds Mercy as she rides, with Carly as well. Seth rides along with Jean, presently in Sadye form.

01<@DeathStar> Location: Valen - Not Kalon
01<@DeathStar> 6* Valen rides alone in the dark, with no way of telling he's on the right path - or if his targets are a mile to either side going in the same direction, making this a useless endeavor
<Xanatos> 6* Valen continues moving along for now, though he's frowning.
01<@DeathStar> 6* Nephilim's dead body flops about on the back of it; suddenly a tigroar leaps out and tackles Nephilim off the horse and into the high grass, vanishing from sight
<Xanatos> 6* Valen jerks the horse to a halt and leaps off, drawing his blade to hunt the beast down.
01<@DeathStar> 6* The sound of biting can be heard to his elven ears - ahead
<Xanatos> 6* Valen moves ahead quickly.
01<@DeathStar> 6* As he steps forward, he'd see the tigoar biting into Nephilim's sack of coins, having missed her flesh somehow; it swallows some gold, perhaps explaining how monsters get them
<Xanatos> 6* Valen moves forward and holds out a hand, trying to use angel whisper to convince the tigroar to back off.
01<@DeathStar> 6* The creature eyes Valen, growling softly but doesn't attack.
<Xanatos> 6* Valen takes his other hand and slowly reaches in his pouch, trying to find some meat.
01<@DeathStar> 6* The tigroar sniffs, then rushes and grabs his entire pouch, running off with it
<Xanatos> 6* Valen pauses and lets out a sigh, he moves over to lift up Nephilim and make his way back to the horse, if it's still there, then he would work on securing a fire since going any further would just be a waste of time at this point, he'll need to wait for morning.
01<@DeathStar> 6* At that moment, Valen would notice several more shadows approaching; it seems to be a pack of wolfhowls
<Xanatos> 6* Valen pauses and pulls Nephilim over his shoulder and backs up towards the horse, his eyes flick left and right he aims a bolt and fires it out for the shadows, trying to scare them off.
01<@DeathStar> 6* The wolfhowls howl at him and one advances directly at him, showing it's teeth.
<Xanatos> 6* Valen pulls his sword back out and then jerks his arms forward to do wind retrieval on the wolfhowl to hopefully pull it off balance and into his sword.
01<@DeathStar> 6* The wolfhowl shrieks as it's impaled; at that moment another leaps on his back from behind, the first being a distraction; another goes for the horse, leaping at it, and another for Nephilim
<Xanatos> 6* Valen kneels quickly, so hopefully the wolfhowl going for him and nephilim goes over, if so he would throw some templar lightnign out towards them, maybe a jolt in the ass would send them scared.
01<@DeathStar> 6* The one going for Valen misses; the one going for Nephilim grabs her leg and begins to tug at her; the poor horse goes down however. As the lightning hits the one that missed Valen, it yelps and the one with Nephilim tugs more incessently before it catches on fire, yelping
<Xanatos> 6* Valen makes sure to get Nephilim back, kicking the thing off if he has too, then quickly turns and runs for the horse, shifting to load a bolt to send out for the wolf attacking it.
01<@DeathStar> 6* The bolt hits the wolfhowl, but the horse is already has it's throat torn. another horse rides up. <Voice> Narven?
<Xanatos> 6* Valen pauses. Rachael?
<Xanatos> 6* Valen takes a second to move over to his horse and kneels, checking to see if he has the energy to heal such an extreme wound.
01<@DeathStar> 6* Rachael rides up into view, giving a weak smile. "You're back. I thought Nephil---" 6 *She eyes her and her eyes widen; she hops off her horse and moves over, kneeling and touching nephilim. "Narvan?!"
01<@DeathStar> 6* The horse seems to be dead
<Xanatos> <Valen> She's dead, drowned. I've been healing the body the best I could but it would seem I've got her injured out here.
01<@DeathStar> 6* Rachael props Neph's head onto her lap and touches her head, focusing some magic into her hands that glow a strange red; her lips moving in some chant
<Xanatos> 6* Valen says a quiet prayer of some sort for the poor horse, looking extremely guilty then glances over to Rachael watching her carefully.
01<@DeathStar> 6* Rachael continues and Nephilim's body begins to glow; it seems this stretches on, minute upon minute, with Rachael focusing and Valen can feel his skin crawling due to it; like it's unnatural. Wrong.
<Xanatos> 6* Valen frowns, not liking this at all. R...Rachael what is this?
01<@DeathStar> 6* Rachael doesn't enter, heavily into the spell she's weaving
<Xanatos> 6Valen gulps and peers down, it would seem he never realized how this process works.
01<@DeathStar> 6* A drop of blood falls from RAchael's nose onto Nephilim's face and it seems to move into her mouth, vanishing inside. Nephilim's body thrashes once
<Xanatos> 6* Valen jerks back. What is this!?
01<@DeathStar> 6* There's a growl in the darkness; monsters approaching. And it seems Rachael/nephilim are in no shape to move yet. Who knows what will happen if Valen interrupts
<Xanatos> 6* Valen gets to his feet quickly at the sound of the growl and moves out to dig out a circle aroudn them for protection then lights the grass on the other side, making sure to keep the horse inside the circle with the two girls.
<Xanatos> NRP: using his lightning since that's all he's got really, maybe some flint.
01<@DeathStar> 6* The wolvehowls approach, snarling at the fire as it begins to spread
<Xanatos> 6* Valen keeps hold of the horse's reigns and peers out at them quietly, thankful for the distraction from Rachael's magicy stuff.
01<@DeathStar> 6* The wolfhowls retreat as the fire spreads
<Xanatos> 6* Valen lets out a breath, now sad that he doesn't have the ability to use water to douse the flames.
01<@DeathStar> 6* Nephilim's body twitches again and Rachael's body shudders with the spell; both are glowing
<Xanatos> 6* Valen glances back towards them, frowning even more. I hope this doesn't...harm you both.
01<@DeathStar> 6* At that moment Nephilim jerks again and Valen sees, for a minute, a red rope between Rachael and Nephilim, at their chest, before each screams; Nephilim would jerk awake, feeling strange now, and Rachael collapses
<Xanatos> 6* Valen blinks and quickly kneels to to check on Rachael.

<Xanatos> <Valen> Are you alright, Neph?
<Kit> <Nephilim> Probably not.
01<@DeathStar> 6* Rachael looks pale and is breathing heavily; dried blood from her nose. Nephilim would tentatively feel Rachael is in bad shape, and something else

<Xanatos> <Valen> Remind me to teach you how to swim. 6He tries to use some of his healing to help Rachael out.

<Xanatos> <Valen> I had to catch the grass around us on fire, I couldn't think of anything else to do to protect the two of you during the...process.
<Xanatos> 6* Valen glances between the two of them and frowns. I don't think we're going anywhere for now.
01<@DeathStar> 6* The horse neighs in fear at the fire, moving about uneasily
01<@DeathStar> <Rachael> Z-Zeal..ha--have to h-hurry... 6* She moans painfully, eyes fluttering; her mark, on her thigh, glows a bit

<Xanatos> 6* Valen frowns. First thing in the morning we'll go, I...locked us in for now.
<Kit> <Nephilim> Valen-- One, I hate water. You're not teaching me anything about it. Two, find a way to quell part of the fire or it's not the fire that kill us. The lack of air will suffocate us.
01<@DeathStar> 6* Rachael forces a hand, trying creating a spring of water
<Xanatos> <Valen> Unfortunately I have nothing except lightning and a tornado. 6He reaches out a hand to stop Rachael.

<Kit> <Nephilim> Wind magic. Perfect. Use the water Rach has made.
<Xanatos> <Valen> She's quite fine. Rest Rachael.
<Xanatos> 6* Valen peers at Nephilim. Can't you control fire with your song?
01<@DeathStar> 6* Rachael shakes her head, ignoring Valen and begins to get wind magic read
<Xanatos> <Valen> I said rest Rachael. 6He says sternly.
<Kit> <Nephilim> No. I cannot control it. My songs aren't that advanced yet.
<Kit> <Nephilim> Three, we've found the angel.
<Xanatos> <Valen> Tell me what to do, I'll do it.
<Xanatos> <Valen> I'm aware.
<Kit> <Nephilim> Tornado on the spring. It'll douse the areas.
01<@DeathStar> 6* Rachael uses wind to throw water out at the flames; indeed, the smoke is getting heavy as predicted
<Kit> 6Nephilim flicks Rachael in the forehead, then starts recanting her healing hymn
<Xanatos> 6* Valen starts to look angry. Rachael, or the angel whoever the hell is in control, if you do not stop you will die. 6he starts using the water paired with his tornado to put out what he can.
<Kit> <Nephilim> She's reacting to urgency, Val, lay off.
01<@DeathStar> 6* Rachael rises as the healing hymn helps; she eyes Valen once, her look telling him to shut up. 6* The torndo flickers and splashes, but due to how long it's been, the fire is great and the smoke is getting heavier; their lungs are rejecting the false air
01<@DeathStar> 6* Rachael raises her hands, creating more points of water, her hands trembling
<Kit> <Nephilim> Rachael and the angel both have always responded to crisis. They're probably most compatible mentally.
<Xanatos> 6* Valen looks even more angry but doesn't say anything this time, just focuses on helping with tornados to spread out the water points.
01<@DeathStar> 6* Rachael begins to cough due to the smoke; VAlen quickly runs out of wind energy, even as they get rid of points of water. Somehow, despite having more mana points than Valen, but not as much as others, Rachael continues to make points of water; using her own wind magic to throws it. She seems wildly urgent, either due to the smoke or something else
01<@DeathStar> 6* Finally, a path is clear through the smoke, but the horse looks terrified and unwilling to take it
<Xanatos> 6* Valen pants and grabs the horses' reigns, urging it the best he can with angel's whisper to try and let it know that that path leads to safety whereas staying here means death.
<Kit> 6Nephilim shifts to support Rachael and move along with Valen and the horse
01<@DeathStar> 6* Rachael slumps against Nephilim, exhausted now and trembling; The horse obeys Valen, moving through the path and away. However, in the distance, they can see the glint of templar armor approaching. Rachael frowns. <Rachael> Too...late..

01<@DeathStar> 6* It has been over two hours of riding; so far the monsters just travel parrall to the group, not attacking, perhaps due to their number
<@Seraphna> * Sadye keeps alert, waiting for one of them to dare as she rides with Jean.
<Xanatos> 6* Tal growls slightly as he peers out towards the monsters.
<@Seraphna> * Kaelan keeps Mercy close as she rides on, tense as she rides.
<kalonZombie> *Leruste has been quiet the entire time, though he's not above making funny faces at Parita when they get enough light
<@Seraphna> * Sia rides along, quiet but with a determined look on her face.

01<@DeathStar> 6* Up ahead, they see smoke rising into the sky; the ereason they see it is it rises high enough to block out parts of the glittering's shine
<kalonZombie> *Leruste puts his finger to his lips in a "shh" motion and shakes his head
<@Seraphna> * Seth frowns and sniffs. "There."
<Kit> <Aschae> They will not eat us. I will destroy the whole area before that happens.
<kalonZombie> <Leruste> Well you better beat whoever's doing that to it *He points to the smoke
<@Seraphna> * Kaelan frowns. "If we see it, others will, we have to get there in case it's Valen."
<Xanatos> 6* Tal sniffs slightly and makes a face at the smoke smell.
01<@DeathStar> <Lenneth> If there is a wildfire, it will be dangerous; there is nothing but grass here
01<@DeathStar> 6* Lenneth eyes the grass; if they were wakling it would be to their thighs
<@Seraphna> Sia> "We've got water!"
<Xanatos> 6* Tal tilts his head. Enough to stop wildfire?
<Kit> <Aschae> If it has not progressed too much..
01<@DeathStar> 6* A wolfhowl leaps out, targetting Parita
01<@DeathStar> <Lenneth> Lets hurry. 6* She urges her horse forward; Gemaneclo clings to her rider as they move ahead, Thomas taking charge

<Xanatos> 6* Tal growls and pulls his hand out to knock the thing aside with a claw attack.
<@Seraphna> * Sia peers at Aschae. "If we combine our abilities... eek!"
01<@DeathStar> 6* As Leruste jumps clumsily off his horse and Tal whacks the wolfhowl, it stumbles into Leruste and they both fall out of sight in the grass

01<@DeathStar> 6* Parita jerks, shouting out. "Ler!"
<Xanatos> 6* Tal stares. He jump...at it? Idiot lerry.
<kalonZombie> *Leruste pulls his rusty sword out and starts stabbing at it
<@Seraphna> * Sia slows her horse. "Leruste!"
01<@DeathStar> 6* The wolfhowl yelps and falls over, dead; Leruste would find 10 copper on it
<@Seraphna> Sia> "Follow my voice, get back on now."
01<@DeathStar> 6 *Thomas doesn't slow, nor does Lenneth, charging ahead of the group; they arrive to find a burning fire

01<@DeathStar> 6* Aschae's water splashes down and begins to put out flames; up ahead, they see a templar army surrounding someone. Thomas holds up a hand for them to halt, the smoke of the fire being put out still covering them

<Kit> 6Aschae shows her teeth to Thomas, then shifts to move lightly to the left.

<kalonZombie> *Leruste puts the gauntlet on "We should still have some sort of distraction so they don't notice the animas at first

<@Seraphna> * Kaelan gets down with her gauntlet. Sadye brings her horse around to lead Kaelan's. Sia slips off her horse with D.
<Xanatos> <Tal> Parita stay with others. Me and Rose fight and try to save whoever they have, yes?

<Xanatos> <Tal> Beat beat. 6He ruffs, putting Parita by Mercy and Lit, then shifts his horse to be by Thomas.

01<@DeathStar> 6* The God General shifts and swings his sword; as Tal lands Ninja Gaiden style, he'd see blood forming as her arm falls off and he collapses. Rose jerks and rushes, picking up Tal and his arm and throwing them on the horse. the God General turns to find Sia
<@Seraphna> * Sia sends Albert after the God General still as she makes her way to others. Kaelan runs headlong for the others as well. Sadye sighs down the path, aiming her arrow for the Templar who struck down Swift, she fires at him in vengance, using Arrow into the Eye.
