* Seraphna huddles with Mercy, keeping her warm, she seems to not mind the cold so much.

<DeathStar> 6* Mercy hugs onto Kaelan, but looks fine, peering about curiously with no problems

<Xanatos> 6* Tal seems to shiver somehwat, but no where near as much as rose or lilica.
<Seraphna> * Kaelan smiles softly. "All that time in Nuege, eh dear?"

<DeathStar> 6* Mercy blinks and nods. "Even though the prince's quarters were warm, the serving areas would go out sometimes."
<DeathStar> 6* Lilica grabs Tal and hugs onto him for bodywarmth; Rose grabs Tanan under her's, glaring at Lilica for stealing her cuddley Tal

<Seraphna> * Kaelan rubs her side gently. "Mmm... need to keep you nice and warm."
<kalonZombie> *Tanan checks on his herb supplies, and frowns to see what little he has has more than likely frozen to the point of uselessness

<Seraphna> * Kaelan peers over at their escort's leader quietly, she seems nostalgic with him around.

<DeathStar> 6* Ollac glances back at Kaelan now and again; up ahead the trees begin to get less sparse due to cutting down and up ahead a giant fort city made of wood can be seen; the guard towers numerous and filled with plenty of arches. To the far north of Thar is the frozen wastelands

<Seraphna> * Kaelan leans over to Zeal, a bit worried for her, she whispers, "I've merely told my friend that we're hunting something. Lilica is our 'hound' for it, and that we travel with two templars."

<Eluere> <Zeal> ..." 6She jerks at Lilica
<kalonZombie> &Tanan looks at her and whispers "You would have preferred death, Lilica?"
<Seraphna> * Kaelan looks at Lilica. "It's a story, dear, please stop taking offense to it."
<Xanatos> 6* Tal lets out a slight shudder at the sight of the fort. Plenty of defenders. 6He mumbles.

<DeathStar> 6* Thomas studies the walls carefully; the soldiers keep peering at Thomas and Zeal, as if checking out for templar armor, but have not spoken about lack of it so far.

<Seraphna> * Kaelan sits back and sighs, looking a little annoyed.
<kalonZombie> *Tanan eyes the fort "Hmm... my first visit to civilization in... what year is it?"

<Eluere> <Zeal> Hm, you do not like patronizing habits, Ms. Lilica?

<DeathStar> 6* Ollac walks up to the tower and calls out to the guard towers; the wooden doors open for them and the soldiers in front ride in. Wynne urges the horse inside, glancing around at the high walls with wooden spikes on top
<Seraphna> * Kaelan rubs her temple. "It's 2389."

<Xanatos> 6* Tal still seems confused about the year thing, probably haven forgotten that sort of thing. He hmms and peers at the high walls with a frown.
<Seraphna> Kaelan> "We'll secure an inn and get supplies refilled."
<DeathStar> 6* Many soldiers louge about with Sinai insignias.
<kalonZombie> <Tanan> I'm afraid I won't be able to pay for my bed.
<DeathStar> <Ollac> I am sure Governor Tyriad will wish to meet two templars.
<DeathStar> 6* He rides over as the rest of his men disperse
<Seraphna> * Kaelan looks to Thomas and Zeal. "...It was the only thing I could think of as an excuse for Lil."
<Seraphna> * Kaelan then looks up as Ollac approaches. "Can we get settled in first?"
<DeathStar> <Ollac> If you wish, but I am sure you would all be welcome in the governor's mansion
<Eluere> <Zeal> You did what was necessarily.
<DeathStar> 6* The 'town' as it is is mostly made of homes and shops, with two inns it seems. The rest of it is made up of various soldiering areas. A small Hunter guild is in business for those not wanting to go to Kalah
<Xanatos> <Tal> It warm there?
<DeathStar> <Ollac> I'd imagine so...
<Seraphna> Kaelan> "I wouldn't wish to impose... we merely need supplies, some rest, and to visit the Hunter's guild. I'm sure my friends would be glad to meet with him though. You've done so much, Ollac."
<DeathStar> <Ollac> Alright; I hope to see you later, Kaelan. 6* He kisses her cheek and rides off. Mercy watches him quietly
<Xanatos> 6* Tal hns and seems to want the warm place.
<DeathStar> 6* Lilica sneezes and her ears droop more. Rose sits on Tan's lap, peering at all the armored soldiers, thinking they're bad templars
<Seraphna> * Kaelan blinks a little, she touches her cheeks and frowns, then looks at Mercy. She kisses her and helps her up. "So where first, the mansion or the inn?"
<kalonZombie> *Tanan seems to be looking around the town, curiously.
<Eluere> <Zeal> Ms. Lilica... being "Gemane" you... are very skilled that technique you employ. I have seen you use it for healing and therapy... could you show me?
<Eluere> <Zeal> ..." 6She tilts her head at the sneeze, retrieving some of her things to find a warmer cloak for Lilica.
<Xanatos> 6* Tal seems to huff at Rose sitting on Tan.
<kalonZombie> *Tanan tilts his head at Tal, wondering what he did wrong
<DeathStar> 6* Lilica pauses, then nods. "Yes, I can."
<DeathStar> 6* She reaches over and grabs Tal's arm, focusing on his daily healing since the cold would make joints hurt
<Xanatos> 6* Tal growls then pauses at being healed and tilts his head. Fells nice.
<DeathStar> 6* Thomas, with his crystal arm now, adjusts his glove to hide the hand

<Seraphna> * Kaelan looks to Thomas. "You wouldn't happen to have those papers still?"

<DeathStar> 6* Wynne whispers to Yewn about their battle plan to run the town; soldiers love to gamble
<Seraphna> Kaelan> "The ones you flash about and people think we're clean."
<Seraphna> * Kaelan peers about for an inn.
<DeathStar> <Thomas> The news of our betrayal is spreading faster than papers will counter
<DeathStar> 6* There only being two inns, one on either end, there's not much to choose from. A lone black smith hammers away

<kalonZombie> *Tanan raises his eyebrow at the word "betrayal"
<Xanatos> <Tal> No. Just soldiers, not church.
<Seraphna> Kaelan> "What do you think? Supply up, get our info and run then?"

<DeathStar> <Thomas> If you ran your friend would be suspicious; he is interested in you and would follow.
<Xanatos> <Tal> Only battle if they threaten you.
<DeathStar> <Thomas> Saying we are templars, we will not escape notice
<Eluere> <Yewn> Gambling? That can get dangerous, Wynnie..!

<Seraphna> * Kaelan frowns. "I... didn't want them to hurt Lil."

<Seraphna> Kaelan> "So we play the game and hope it works?"
<Xanatos> <Tal> Um. Feeling you have when someone shakes weapon at you!
<DeathStar> 6* Thomas hops off the cart outside the inn, glancing at the mansion. "I will try to deal with the governor." 6* He moves off
<DeathStar> 6* Rose thinks, then nods, all smiles; she hops off into the snow, then begins to play with it
<Seraphna> * Kaelan wraps an arm around Mercy. "We'll get the rooms... I need to get my blade repaired too."
<Xanatos> 6* Tal hops off the cart and adjusts his cloak, kneeling down to throw a snowball at Rose.
<Seraphna> * Kaelan peers at the others, "Come inside with me, it's warm in the inn, probably."
<Seraphna> * Kaelan moves to enter the inn.
<Eluere> <Yewn> ..." 6She eyes Wynne. 1"If it's what you want... I can make it happen.
<kalonZombie> *Tanan looks at Kaelan "If you are about to procure rooms, I would wish to go too. I was ill prepared for the cold, and need warmth desperately" *He seems to be wearing little more than a burlap robe, not even having any shoes on his feet
<DeathStar> 6* Rose blinks, sputtering as the snow falls off her face. She eyes Tal, then grabs and begins to throw two
<DeathStar> <Wynne> We'll plan on it together; see which soldiers look like easy targets that won't report us
<Xanatos> 6* Tal jerks and sputters, falling over.
<DeathStar> 6* Rose leaps at Tal
<DeathStar> <Lilica> Heh. 6* She eyes the two playing and steps inside to where a fire is going
<DeathStar> 6* Mercy begins to get their things out of the cart and carry itside
<Xanatos> 6* Tal jerks as she lands on him and wiggles. Rose too strooong.
<kalonZombie> *Tanan follows, sitting in front of the fire and sitting in a meditative pose
<Seraphna> * Kaelan moves to get them three rooms.
<DeathStar> 6* Rose poses, then puts snow on his tail, darting off
<DeathStar> 6* Rose leaps on Zeal to hide
<DeathStar> 6* The owner charges 10 copper a room
<Xanatos> 6* Tal hehs and gets to his feet, dusting off then lurks after Rose.
<Eluere> 6Zeal makes a noise, peering up
<DeathStar> 6* Rose, being a waif and only 5'3ish, weighs little for Zeal. She hangs on her back, trying to hide from Tal's sight
<Eluere> <Yewn> If'n we manage t'make 'em gamble they won't report us. They'd expose themselves as gamblers.
<Seraphna> * Kaelan gets them four rooms then, giving keys to Tal, Zeal, Mercy and Tanan, assuming the monk doesn't want to share a room with women.
<DeathStar> 6* Mercy steps out and sets down mats for Zeal to walk on inside the inn without touchingsnow

<Xanatos> 6* Tal lurks, but doesn't seem to mess with Rose while she's on Zeal.
<DeathStar> 6* Lilica sits by the fire, mmmming, her tail swishing in Tan's face
<kalonZombie> *Tanan nods in thanks when handed a key, but continues to meditate in front of the fire, ignoring the tail
<DeathStar> 6* The inn keeper eyes Lil, freezing at the tail
<Seraphna> * Kaelan sighs and covers it. She pays the man 20 additional copper. "She won't be trouble, more if she causes any."
<Eluere> <Zeal> Mind your manners and own business. We should not need explain ourselves. He is not inclined to know of our mission.
<Eluere> 6Zeal looks sternly at the keeper as she might have in days past.
<Seraphna> Kaelan> "Nonetheless I feel obligated to pay the man for troubling him."
<DeathStar> 6* The keeper swallows and nods, looking busy
<Eluere> <Zeal> Fortune smiles upon him
<DeathStar> 6* Lilica yawns. "I sure hope you've taught mwe where to potty properly, 'master'." 6* She tells Kaelan
<DeathStar> 6* She stretches and pulls off all her clothes right in front of the fire
<kalonZombie> *Tanan reacts to it by not reacting at all
<DeathStar> 6* Rose watches Lilica, then lets go of Zeal, moving to do the same; as Mercy picks up the mats and brings them inside, she blinks
<Seraphna> * Kaelan eyes her. She grabs her own cloak and throws it around her. "Continue to act like that and you'll cause everyone trouble."
<DeathStar> <Lilica> Yip.
<Xanatos> <Tal> ...
<Seraphna> * Kaelan glares at her. "Endanger us and there'll be more to worry about then being called names Lil. People in this region are very tense..."
<DeathStar> 6* Rose pauses when Lilica gets covered and looks at Kaelan for instructions being her mentor
<DeathStar> 6* Lilica tilts her head like a confused pet
<Eluere> <Zeal> Ms. Lilica... please.
<DeathStar> 6* Mercy hands Zeal a key for her and Thomas, then one to Tal
<DeathStar> <Lilica> Okay, okay. 6* She rises and picks her clothes up, moving up the stairs
<Eluere> <Zeal> Kael is very clumsy with social matters. She means best.
<Xanatos> 6* Tal nods thanks and kneels by the fire, waiting on Kaelan to do somethign Rose and Lilica.
<Seraphna> * Kaelan frowns. "Yeah... sorry. It's just... wastelanders don't fool about like other places might. We're too close to the edge."
<Xanatos> <Tal> Rose put clothes on, come with Lil and Tal. 6He moves after Lilica.
<Seraphna> * Kaelan nods to Rose. "Clothes. Upstairs."
<kalonZombie> *Tanan remains by the fire as everyone else heads upstairs
<Seraphna> * Kaelan rubs her temple, recalling when she was the one to constantly do things that would endanger them. She shakes her head with a smile and kisses Mercy on the cheek. "I'm going by the smithy. I'll be back."
<DeathStar> 6* Rose follows Tal, obeying him over Kaelan
<DeathStar> <Mercy> Alright. Becareful
<Seraphna> * Kaelan gets out another cloak and heads out to the smithy.
<DeathStar> 6* Rose gets dressed on the way up; Lilica waits outside a door since no one gave her a key
<Xanatos> 6* Tal opens the door and bows dramatically. Your room, ladies.
<DeathStar> 6* Lilica enters and peers at the small bed. Rose leaps on it and bounces.
<DeathStar> <Lilica> .... I've gotten spoiled at other inns...
<DeathStar> <Mercy> Lady Zeal, do you need anything further?
<Eluere> <Zeal> If you need anything, please be sure to ask me, Ms. Lilica, Ms. Rose. I will be mending clothing.
<Eluere> 6Zeal pauses, then shakes her head sheepishly at Mercy
<DeathStar> 6* Mercy bows, then moves out to buy food supplies
<Xanatos> <Tal> Rose and Lil can have bed. I'll sleep on floor.
<Seraphna> * Kaelan makes her way to the lone blacksmith, wrapping her cloak about her and looking about quietly, she finds herself regaining a lot of her old learning on living near the wastes.

<DeathStar> 6* A hand grabs Kaelan in an familiar old way and pulls her out of sight for dramatic scenes off camera

<DeathStar> 6* As the afternoon comes on slowly for the port city, the mansion has been put off limits to everyone, their outfits already given to them to wear. Jean bounces in a slink white dress that shows lot of her figure, and Rachael is wearing a dress outfit of her normal ware, tailor made for her, so she shows her stomach and legs
<Eluere> <Nephilim> Nice. These seem expensive.
<Eluere> <Aschae> I do believe they are...
<Seraphna> * Sia adjusts a sea green dress which accentuates her lithe little form, flushed a bit with her hair neatened and under control for once.
<DeathStar> 6* Lenneth opens the front doors finally, wearing a blue dress similiar to Rachael's in style. Parita, meanwhile, has been dressed up by the maids again, her hair in a ponytail with ribbons
<DeathStar> <Lenneth> I'm ready. Come in
<kalonZombie> *Leruste smiles at it "Honestly Rach, I don't think you'd look bad in anything *He says wearing something that resembles his old Sinai party outfit, but even fancier

<Xanatos> 6* Valen tugs at his collar, not used to having such dressy clothes on.

<Seraphna> * Sadye stands in a showy dress, exposing the generous curves her her idealized body. She smirks and heads in, Sia holds onto Jean's skirt a little.

<DeathStar> 6* Rachael smiles and puts an arm around him, a glow about her face the last few days, in a good mood. She teases Nephilim with a pinch to the rear to make her jump at Valen
<Eluere> 6Aschae squints, having returned to slave garments after wearing the dress for Lenneth. Nephilim jumps as intended, though narrows her eyes at Rachael before staring up at Valen.

<Xanatos> 6* Valen pauses and catches her, blinking. You look beautiful Nephilim.
<DeathStar> 6* The dining area has been transformed into an area with a lot of good, but it's the living rooms that have been cleared out, for space to dance, and music playing with the walls lined in various flowers and glowstones to give it a variety of color. Alcohol lines a table in glasses

<DeathStar> 6* Parita tries to get an alcoholic drink. Nicci, dressed in a green dress, watches them all with smiles

<Xanatos> 6* Valen hmms and gets a strong drink in a small glass with a bit of ice and takes a sip, letting out a breath. This is much better than the village.
<Seraphna> * Sadye grins. "You still deserve thanks."

<Seraphna> * Sia feeds Kaji, she peers at a glass of champagne, looking about shiftily.
<Xanatos> <Valen> I'm referring to the drink. In Matias we made our own, it was very strong but there wasn't much of a taste.
<kalonZombie> <Leruste> Is this Sinai 1568? How the hell did they get a bottle of this? I thought they were all pretty much gone.

<Xanatos> 6* Valen finishes his drink and sets it aside, glancing to Nephilim. Would you...like to dance?
