Dawn Allighieri dreams on the PAX, and in his dream, perhaps a vision of the future, is the dead bodies of Chii, Freyja, himself, Fiore, his mother, Elwyn, Eluere, Rin - all on a steel tree of thorns, slowly sliding down to their demise; for Tabetha, her dreams continue to haunt her with visions of men and swords and other nonsense Seraphna shit. Though this night, her dreams show her Dias somewhere cold, and becoming more ofg a monster as it progresses; skin turning black, a tail growing, glowing red eyes...
<DeathStar> 6* And now, the real scene begins:
<DeathStar> 6* It is the next day after the attack by Dias, a discarded character of an old player that has gone nuts. The mood on the base is somber, with him gone and Key dead apparantly (see her bio for more information). Cheryl has been up all day and night and into this day, holed up in her office, having given chores of watching Lorelei to Lemon. The base is quiet. Somber.
<DeathStar> 6* Curali is in the mess hall, musing, while Vodka goes over medical data after the attack. So far X has been kept in the base itself for her protection, so she stalks about the mess hall in annoyance, muttering about her job.
<kalonZombie> *Hale is in his room, doing push ups one handed, alternating hands every time he completes one
<Seraphna> * Tabetha sits in her room, tapping rapidly at a datapad with streams of code running by it, programming something. She looks pale, eyes watering a bit, deeply distressed in the bond she shares.
<Xanatos> 6* Cole works on a circuit board in teh hanger, sitting by a table with various tools around, occasionally sliding it over to let Cypher judge his work.
<Seraphna> * Peter stares at security monitors, running over anything he can connecting the attacks, one following Chad wandering about the base.
<Xanatos> 6* Kellin lays on the couch in the main part of the mansion, datapad in his hand as he eyes it quietly.
<DeathStar> 6* And by effectively placing their people in their own rooms and areas, RP ends

<Kit> <Eluere> It's not like you to brood. I could pry, but I prefer to hear what's on your mind in your own words.
<Seraphna> * Tabetha rises from her bed as she finishes and walks out of the room, she contacts Cheryl on her comms.
<Kit> 6Eluere leans over Curali's shoulder, flicking her in the forehead
<DeathStar> 6* Curali jerks. "What? Hh?"
<DeathStar> 6* Curali looks at Eluere, then relaxes. "When'd you get there?"
<Kit> <Eluere> A few moments ago.
<kalonZombie> <Hale> 48... 49... and 50 *He hops up and heads towards the mess
<DeathStar> 6* Cheryl peers at the comm, tapping it. "What now, Tabetha?"
<Xanatos> 6* Kellin sighs and seems to be bored, he rolls off the couch onto his feet and begins to move around the mansion, looking for the elusive Lorelei.
<Seraphna> Tabetha> "I had a new dream. It's about Dias... I recorded everything I could. He's somewhere cold... tunring into some monster. I made a holodeck play of it."
<DeathStar> 6* Lorelei doesn't appear to be upstairs at all. Lemon puts out new food in the mess hall now that people are o cming in and nods at Hale; he'd see a variety of food
<DeathStar> <Cheryl> Just record it into my datapad to look at.
<kalonZombie> <Hale> Hey Lemon
<Xanatos> 6* Kellin lets out a sigh and steps into the elevator to move down into the base.
<Seraphna> * Tabetha sends it over. "Here... I... it's getting more and more real..."
<Kit> 6Chii sits to eat without luster. 1"She's at it again. Oi."
<Xanatos> 6* Kellin then shoves his hands into his pockets and moves along.
<Seraphna> * Tabetha turns from her intended route towards a closed off area of the base where she's been working a lot lately, for the mess hall, shivering a little.
<DeathStar> 6* Lorelei crawls out from the kitchen area with a big chicken in her mouth. Lemon jerks and moves over to grab her, then at Chii. "Who?"
<kalonZombie> *Hale grabs a little of everything and sits down to eat it
<Seraphna> * Peter puts all his findings on his datapad and moves towards medical. <How's it comin luv?>
<DeathStar> 6* Curali muses, having drifted into thought again, then jerks
<DeathStar> <Curali> What'd you say a moment ago again?
<DeathStar> 6* Vodka looks up from her work, then back down; she's going over scans of Key's finger, and those injured. <What is going?"
<Xanatos> 6* Cole puts his work aside and then moves over to do the usual security scans on the vehicles, if clean like they usually are then he would move on to the mess hall.
<DeathStar> 6* Cole would find no traps or sticky underwear
<Xanatos> 6* Kellin sniffs the food and practically floats into the mess hall.
<DeathStar> 6* Lemon waves at Kellin and gives him the chicke Lorelei had
<DeathStar> 6* X sighs and sits down, peering at Lemon. "I want to go style hair."
<Seraphna> * Peter steps into medical and takes a seat, watching her. <How often have you checked on Dias since we got him back?>
<Xanatos> <Cole> Little bit of meee. 6he hums out as he sings.
<Xanatos> <Kellin> Oooh. 6he takes the chicken and bites into it, then gets a tiny/safe piece for Lorelei and gives it to her.
<Seraphna> * Tabetha slips into the mess hall quietly, shuffling towards a seat.
<DeathStar> 6* Lorelei takes it and yips at him happily, chewing. "Kel!"
<DeathStar> <Vodka> <Several times; all scans turned up fine>
<Xanatos> <Kellin> Why oo wan style haiw? 6He asks X then glances to Lorelei with a smile, taking her from Lemon.
<Kit> <Eluere> I asked what had you thinking so hard.
<DeathStar> 6* Leira sits by Tabetha
<Kit> <Chii> Cheryl. She's couped up again.
<kalonZombie> *Hale sits back and observes the rest of the team as they eat, trying to get a good feel for them
<Seraphna> Peter> <Then the theory I like the least seems to be the one most likely.>
<Seraphna> * Tabetha looks at Leira and leans against her tiredly.
<DeathStar> <Curali> Jsut trying to figure out who or what could be doing all this; messing with that Chad guy's mind ,making Dias hate us, controlling Lemon, kidnapping Ka--" 6* She begins to say his name in front of Lemon, not thinking

<DeathStar> 6* X looks at Kellin.

<DeathStar> <Lemon> Yes; I have to deliver food to her.
<Seraphna> Peter> <That there wasn't any mind control, no drugs, no special tricks... that they just... turned him against us. That he really did go crazy all on his own.>

<Xanatos> 6* Kellin swallow his chicken and sticks his tongue out. WHY do YOU want to style hair? It fun? 6He sits down, feeding Lorelei little bits and eats a bit himself.

<DeathStar> 6* X crosses her arms; while she has purple hair liek Vodka, she is not Russian or big boobed apparantly

<Kit> <Eluere> We do not have much field experience. Our list of suspects is too large.

<Seraphna> Tabetha> "I was in a cold place... Dias was turning into a monster... his skin was growing black... he grew a tail and his eyes turned red."

<Xanatos> 6* Cole steps into the mess hall and gathers up some food before taking a seat and then pauses and begins to shovel food into his mouth.
<Kit> 6Chii sighs loudly, nibbling on dango
<Xanatos> 6* Kellin smiles and nods. Damn right, that's the way to be.
<Seraphna> Peter> <Well... all the more reason to get a psionic down here to check the group over.>

<Xanatos> <Cole> Well John was one of my mentors so I'm sure that explains a lot. 6He gets to his feet and takes his empty tray up.

<Seraphna> * Tabetha clings to her. She nuzzles Leira's neck and croons.
<DeathStar> 6* X peers at Hale and chuckles at him a bit.

<Xanatos> <Cole> I don't need food and we have a meeting in a minute, so I didn't want to waste what I had gotten. 6He says shortly and moves off for the meeting area.

<kalonZombie> *Hale finishes his food, getting up and following the two
<Seraphna> * Peter sighs, "I know you are darlin. She's still our CO though..." *he muses* "...Can a Dragoon BE a psionic?"
<DeathStar> 6* Already in the conference room, they'd find Cheryl at the head of the table; for someone who hasn't slept in 36 hours, she shows no sign of being run down
<Xanatos> 6* Kellin perks up at the word meeting and sneaks off to listen in.

<DeathStar> 6* Lemon walks out of the kitchen in a military uniform and walks after the others; she steps in and sits, earning a look from Cheryl

<Seraphna> * Tabetha gets up and takes Leira's hand, heading for the conference hall.
<DeathStar> 6* Blue enters to hand Cheryl more files; her Valentine's Date with Cole the other day ruined due to Dias.
<Kit> 6Eluere frowns at Curali being broody, then goes to the meeting room

<kalonZombie> *Hale sits down at one of the seats and drums his fingers
<Xanatos> 6* Cole gives her a smile and a wink, though he hasn't renewed plans yet so she may be cross with him.
<Kit> 6Chii lazily heads the way of the conference room with some ice cream for cheering up.
<Seraphna> * Tabetha blinks worriedly and trudges on.
<DeathStar> 6* Cheryl's steel blue eyes shift toward the finger. Emeralda sits down a moment later, looking all prim and proper

<Seraphna> * Peter gives Vodka a kiss and heads to the coference hall. Tabetha shuffles in and takes a seat.
<Xanatos> 6* Kellin stand in the back with Lorelei, still feeding her bits of chicken until she seems done

<DeathStar> <Cheryl> Now that you're all here.
<Seraphna> * Peter takes a seat.
<DeathStar> 6* Cheryl leans back. "Someone tell me what they know about VI and General Venerator, and about General Cran."
<DeathStar> 6* Cheryl glances at Hale, to see if he attempts any information
<Seraphna> * Tabetha perks up a little, ready to impart the information, when Peter signals her to wait for Hale to get a chance.
<Xanatos> 6* Cole glances around, while Kellin seems antsy to answer.

<Seraphna> * Peter waves Tabetha to go.
<Seraphna> Tabetha> "VI, or Venerator's Intelligence was a terrorist organization founded by General Vennie Cartwright. He himself was involved in the Weapon and Dragoon programs..."
<DeathStar> <Cheryl> What have VI's goals been over the years. Their objectives and attacks
<Kit> <Chii> Dragoons? Projects related to Cran? Ariel?
<Xanatos> <Kellin> VI kidnapped Aya, turned her into a big girl.
<Seraphna> Tabetha> "While not always completely clear, their targets have generally involved the Weapons and several Dragoons, namely Angela Bennet in several incidents. Chad Winters and Dias were also targets in several incidents."
<kalonZombie> *Hale sits there quietly, trying to put everything to memory
<DeathStar> 6* Cheryl closes her eyes. "In order to explain VI more, I should probably start at the beginning of the universe."
<Seraphna> * Tabetha tilts her head.
<Xanatos> <Cole> You mean the realities or something more?
<Kit> <Chii> Seems a bit far back for me..
<DeathStar> <Cheryl> As you all know, in the Ridiarium War, the two top tier Generals were General Venerator and General Cran. Carbon dating always told our universe is billions of years old, but it was discovered later that, using reality based tech, that our reality began in 10-573. As you all know, we're at 592.
<Kit> 6Eluere focuses on Cheryl, almost as if datafiling or recording.
<Seraphna> * Tabetha blinks. "10-573..."
<Kit> <Chii> So technically there's no one older than 19?
<DeathStar> <Cheryl> Reality began when Wind hit out planet; while our history before it was all legit, it was being written on the go while Wind and Erevis were being attacked by the Dark Ones. And they took control of the process and ran with it, and thus expelled Wind. When he impacted, history was no longer being written, but playing out like any reality's would
<DeathStar> 6* Leira muses on that
<Xanatos> <Kellin> I'm older. 6He whispers.
<DeathStar> <Cheryl> 'Technically'. Like I said , everything before was legit. It was more like a fast forward button was going on. Wind was cramming his old reality into one thing and mixed it up due to the attack. We all know how things with Wind went on to play, but that's not important
<DeathStar> <Cheryl> We were losing the Ridiarium War, and when Wind and Ariel crashlanded, these two generals took advantage of it. They harnessed wind's power but could not figure it out, so Ven and Cran sealed him up, and they used Ariel to make the Dragoons.
<Seraphna> * Peter raises a brow. "Well this throws a wrench into the bible..."
<kalonZombie> <Hale> Wrench nothing, it throws a whole toolshed in there. Probably a kitchen sink too.
<Kit> <Chii> Shush, guys.
<DeathStar> <Cheryl> I was thinking back to that year. Trying to figure out how I played into this, what it all meant. 6* Cheryl keeps talking with her eyes closed. "I was made a few months after that, and the tides of war turned. But at that moment, Venerator and Cran became ... enemies in some ways, each with their own goals
<Kit> <Chii> Rivals.
<Xanatos> <Cole> Absolute power corrupts absolutely.
<DeathStar> <Cheryl> And then I Thought back; Cran was older than any human being even at that point of the war, using clones to assume the role of his so nevery few decades. And we traced him back to as having brought Megumi's grandmother to Famfrit.
<DeathStar> <Cheryl> So his history and back story were written into the universe even before it began to 'play out normally'.
<Seraphna> * Tabetha tilts her head. "That seems strange..."
<Kit> <Chii> You think he orchestrated Wind and Ariel's manipulation to at least some degree?
<DeathStar> <Cheryl> We beat the Dark Ones and their plan to take over the reality. That's a known fact. But I can't picture Wind doing that with Cran intentionally, even if he was insane then, so all I can think of is the Dark Ones did it, Chii.
<DeathStar> <Cheryl> The question, at least, is if our reality began to play out normally when Wind hit Earth in 573, how much of our history before is our own making, how much is it Wind's, and how much is it the Dark One's
<Kit> <Chii> But they got wiped out..
<Seraphna> Tabetha> "Even if you kill a programmer, the program still plays out."
<DeathStar> <Cheryl> Look at VI. VI was beaten years ago, Cran was, but how many times have we faced his hidden projects?
<Xanatos> <Kellin> They were around when Wind was making the reality.
<Xanatos> <Cole> Do you think these attacks and everything are being orchestrated by another Dark One encoded failsafe?
<DeathStar> <Cheryl> I don't know; let me continue with my history lesson first, then we'll talk what I think

<Seraphna> * Tabetha listens quietly, wide eyed, clearly enjoying gettig the gaps in what she knows filled in.
<Seraphna> * Peter muses quietly, watching Cheryl.

<DeathStar> <Cheryl> We know during the 573 point of our history, Alexander Cran had been alive around 300 years. Megumi's grandmother is proof of that. He arrived on FAmfrit at the same time she did. He had already been seeking a way to live forever, using famfrit DNA I think, to seek this. And each time he used a clone, and transferred his consciousness over, part of his sanity was lost

<DeathStar> <Cheryl> AT that point in time, he had made Chad Winters, the first in the Weapon series, and used his DNA in Chad to make a son, an heir. The other Weapons were headed by the Weapon project scientist and he had no further influence. That was his first attempt at an heir, or perhaps a body to take over - which would later be fact, too
<DeathStar> <Cheryl> I was his second child. I was the third Alpha made - Alpha Ariel was made to look after the Ariel that crashed. They wanted to make a perfect duplicate with human DNA to see if it was possible. Baxter was next, to see if they could make a different gender. Both had no personalities or will of their own. I was the third and the first with will and my own mind - and I was his daughter. He used his DNA mixed with Ariel to make me
<DeathStar> <Cheryl> And I was the only Alpha who could reproduce, though he never otld me that; and I was also aged a bit more naturally, like the Gemini, than the other Alphas. He would train me at various parts of my childhood, then age me.
<DeathStar> <Cheryl> And lastly, and I think this was to counter to Cran, Venerator put half his genes into Zephyr, the last Alpha in that war. Now. As Chii said it, they were becomign rivals at this point and they split to go their own paths. At the time, we all thought Cran was the bad guy - me included, due to my falling out with him after he made me bond with Phaeton and I killed Warren's pregnant love

<DeathStar> <Cheryl> I don't know if that threw a wrench in his plans or not, me turning my back on him - I also was the one who swapped Ariel with her Alpha Alpha duplicate; but at the time I had help from Venerator in this.
<DeathStar> <Cheryl> We later learned Venerator did this so he could make a counter agent to give ARiel that allowed her to control all the Alphas to counter Angela Bennet, Cran's third attempt at an heir, and the first Omega unit - because Angela could control all aLphas but me.
<Seraphna> * Peter sits back, scratching his head.
<DeathStar> <Cheryl> Venerator went on to make VI, and Cran went on to make Janus. He brought Chad under his wing and he began to groom Angela as his 'daughter'.
<Xanatos> <Cole> I think I have a brain ache. 6He mumbles.
<Seraphna> * Tabetha has started tapping at her datapad. "I will make a flow chart."
<DeathStar> <Cheryl> Now, we later learned Venerator wasn't the saint he made himself out to be - while Cran wanted an alliance with the Tsivrixsh Empire to spare Earth, he had made the PAX to get allies to join Earth, but we learned that was a trap. He wanted power and was gathering intel, and when Erevis appeared, he tried to take her power because she made the reality like Wind
<DeathStar> <Cheryl> Now, after killing Venerator, who recalls the first time we ever fought VI and what their agendas were?
<Xanatos> <Kellin> This is all history that no one on this team was part of. Classified intel.
<Xanatos> <Kellin> But I was told that Eve and Angela were captured, that was VI right?
<Seraphna> * Tabetha seems to be trying to recall any history files she read.
<DeathStar> <Cheryl> Yes. I'll tell you the events leading to that
<DeathStar> <Cheryl> VI showed up after PAX was destroyed and General Cran, ahving become president, disbanned it. They began to attack Janus and Earth installations, and Darien Starr, our PResident right now, led a strike team against them.
<Xanatos> <Kellin> OH that's where Momma Erevis and Papa Xan got...close. Before he fucked it up of course.
<DeathStar> <Cheryl> They took Angela and tried to use her, no doubt, because of her ties to Cran; they took Even to be her pilot. We learned Chad was made to be the perfect pilot ever, and would be the key to piloting Angela one day. His ability to bond would ensure the dragoon's complete loyality
<Kit> <Chii> What's so lofty about her? She got capped.
<DeathStar> <Cheryl> Eventually, we learned VI's ultimate goal was to find Wind, who Cran had hidden. After killing Cran's clone body and makng us all think he was dead, they unleashed Wind upon us and we learned the truth about our universe
<Seraphna> Tabetha> "That we're all a creation of another..."
<DeathStar> <Cheryl> No, jumping ahead, we encountered VI again after the Dark War reached it's first lull after we destroyed their homeplanet, and their planet of souls; VI returned to kidnapped Aya, the daughter of Chad and Eve. Aya was the first child of a Weapon and very powerful
<DeathStar> <Cheryl> They put a virus in Aya that began to age her so she could reach her true potential; a clone of Cran who did not get imprinted on and went into hiding, gave her the cure and gave her powers to fight another threat. Now, another jump
<Xanatos> <Cole> After my universe, the real one I was based off of, after it got fucked he took his power and made this reality, meant to be the perfect one, but it didn't go as planned. 6He whipsers to Tabetha.
<DeathStar> <Cheryl> We encountered VI and the original GEneral Cran, again in a clone body and more insane than ever, with an army of clones and whatnot. We beat them, but they were after my...son. And Aya. Cran wanted to out his consciousness in one of them. It seems all along his t rue goal was an heir.
<Seraphna> * Tabetha nods a little.
<DeathStar> <Cheryl> And now, in the present, we have this new organization who can control Chad, when all codes to do so would no doubt be hidden to General Cran alone, they took Lemon thinking it was me and took an egg I gave her, and were able to control her with abilities taht would ahve worked on me due to us sharing the same mind set..
<DeathStar> <Cheryl> I keep going back to Cran's goal of an heir. A perfect kid
<DeathStar> <Cheryl> For 300 years, Cran was obsessed with immortality, whatever he encountered on that famfrit world changed him. He came back to Earth and built up this legacy, these projects, all of it.
<Xanatos> <Cole> Sounds like it HAS to be Cran, least him in clone form.
<Seraphna> * Tabetha blinks a little. "So... Cran is back?"
<DeathStar> <Cheryl> I think maybe; you keep seeing men who look like him. But it may be this:

<Seraphna> Peter> "All this for a bloody god dmaned body..."
<DeathStar> <Cheryl> One of his projects from 19 years ago has finally come online - it may be two clones. It may be him. But the fact they can control me, I think it's the second phase of it. I think it's an Oemga clone and they want to impregnant me for some perfect heir
<DeathStar> 6* Cheryl looks at the others to see if they think she's crazy
<Seraphna> * Tabetha listens intently. "So that's why I see two faces...?"
<Xanatos> <Cole> So...that Angela girl?
<DeathStar> <Cheryl> No, it's a male if Tabetha's dreams are really visions of the future - I need to have her tested
<DeathStar> <Cheryl> It would make sense, from Cran's perspective, to use Angela as a test to see if an Omega could be made, then make a male clone one
<Xanatos> <Cole> Visions? Most looney bins have visions.
<DeathStar> <Leira> She's not crazy! 6* She pets Key's finger

<kalonZombie> <Hale> Wouldn't be able to help you on either account. Usually when there was a stealth mission I had to do, we had something setting up a distraction so my squad could get in.
<Seraphna> * Tabetha hops over and looks at him, her costume as it turns out, is a very advanced looking tactical suit, skin tight to the point that the bouncing about could be a little distracting. She tilts her head. "You are Mister Hale. I interviewed you and you thought I was a serious officer!"

<Seraphna> * Tabetha giggles a little. "W-Well... h-he's my pilot, I'm engaged to Leira."

<Seraphna> * Tabetha takes his hand and drags him down a side hall by the firing range, to the rooms beyond, one now holding a teleporter, the other, which she pulls him into is a black room with green squares painted on the walls, in one corner is a work bench.

<Seraphna> Tabetha> "The holo deck! I build it. Watch!" *she pushes a few buttons and the room is suddenly a giant hotel lobby, people walking about*

<Seraphna> * Tabetha giggles and twirls about in it, she wiggles a bit and looks at him. "Wanna explore?"

<Seraphna> * Tabetha smiles and taps some keys, a small wardrobe of costumes appears. "Suit up!"
<Seraphna> * Tabetha starts to strip right in front of him, as if too naive to know better.
<kalonZombie> *Hale can't help but watch as he starts suiting up himself, putting the clothes on over his own, as they're pretty form-fitting to begin with
<Seraphna> * Tabetha selects a green sun dress, slipping it on after putting on panties and a bra, apparently having had none on under her tactical suit.
<kalonZombie> *Hale meanwhile takes a nice looking tux, selecting a dark blue tie to go along with it
<Seraphna> * Tabetha hands him sunglasses. "This is one of my spy stories, so you get to be the special agent. Cool secret agents wear these. Holovids say so."
<kalonZombie> *He takes the glasses and grins "They sure do. Love some of the older ones. This Bond fellow in particular always had my interest, even as a kid"
<Seraphna> * She giggles and takes his arm, letting her hair down before leading him through the fancy hotel lobby, the place seems much bigger then the room they were logically in.
<kalonZombie> *Hale looks around it, smiling "How did you get it to appear so big?"
<Seraphna> Tabetha> "Munipulation of the senses, I have settings in place to adjust to the biological signatures of most knowin aliens, based on notes I got from Doctor Carmichael."
<kalonZombie> <Hale> But won't we hit the wall if we keep walking?
<Seraphna> Tabetha> "WE're actually walking in circles, I use air directional blowers and a slight munipulation of your balance to make you think you're walking straight. Is it accurate?"
<kalonZombie> <Hale> I'd say. If you didn't say anything, I could have sworn I was walking in a perfectly straight line.
<Seraphna> Tabetha> "Even if you try to correct it, it'll adapt to your movements. I had that problem when I first started, since I knew."

<Seraphna> Tabetha> "We're to meet up with a contact who has information about a weapons dealer. I'm your umm... 'Female Companion'."

<Seraphna> * Tabetha nods, leading him to a large dining hall. "You can play yourself if you like, it's designed to take on player information as it's introduced."

<Seraphna> * The waiter approaches them and eyes them. "Names?"
<Seraphna> * The waiter oddly looks like Marcus Jones with a porno mustache.

<Seraphna> * the waiter looks at Tabetha, who speaks and thinks, "Tabetha..." *she tilts her head* "McCormick."
<Seraphna> * The waiter checks their names and shows them to a table.
<kalonZombie> *Hale follows him, then when they get there, he pulls the seat out for Tabetha
<Seraphna> * Tabetha blushes and sits, flattered by the courtesy.
<kalonZombie> *Hale sits down across from her, then takes his glasses off since they're "inside"
<Seraphna> * Tabetha orders a rediculous amount of food.
<kalonZombie> *Hale orders a martini, shaken not stirred
<Seraphna> * Their food is brought and soon a man sits to join them. He's old and graying, and puts down a silver suit case. "This is everything you'll need. Just two more days and I'm retired."
<kalonZombie> *Hale visibly rolls his eyes, then looks at the man "So what are we supplied with?"
<Seraphna> Old Man> "Whatever is in the box."
<kalonZombie> <Hale> You don't know what's in the box?
<Seraphna> Old Man> "Not my job son. I'm just here to deliver the packag---" *he falls back as something strikes him, getting a comical bump on the head*
<Seraphna> * Tabetha gasps and forms a gun, looking about.
<kalonZombie> *Hale pulls his sidearm out, his eyes darting everywhere, his free hand grabbing the case
<Seraphna> * Something strikes the table, making Tabetha's ice cream go flying, she sniffles.
<kalonZombie> *Hale tips the table over and uses it for cover
<Seraphna> * Tabetha hides with him, someone is firing cuncussion blasts at them. Apparently Tabetha has things set to nonlethal.
<kalonZombie> *Hale pops out and fires a few blind shots, then takes cover again, trying to see where the assailant is firing from
<Seraphna> * There seems to be a dark figure on the balconies above the hall, she fires just where he was.
<Seraphna> Tabetha> "We need to get to safety!"
<kalonZombie> *Hale looks around for better cover or a place to retreat
<Seraphna> * There's a doorway nearby, the way they came in and the kitchens as well. Some people walk buy carrying a sheet of glass.
<kalonZombie> *Hale gives her an odd look and rushes for it
<Seraphna> * Tabetha rushes with him, they clear the doorway with gunfire exploding after them, the sheet of glass is dropped and shatters. They find themselves in the lobby near the car lot.
<kalonZombie> *Hale grabs her by the arm and rushes for the nearest car "Get in! I'll start it up!"
<Seraphna> * Tabetha blinks and nods, getting into the car.
<kalonZombie> *He gets in as well, throwing the case into the back seat, then tears out the ignition wires and starts to hotwire the car
<Seraphna> * The car starts after a little work. Apprently Tabetha's designs are so detailed that the car actually responds to the proper hotwiring.
<kalonZombie> <Hale> Nice touch on the cars. *He says as he backs up and starts speeding off to try and escape their pursuers
<Seraphna> * Tabetha giggles. "Mechanical detail is easy for me."
<Seraphna> * They have a wild time getting out of the garage, as three cars start to come at them. Hale must OG to get through safely. Type ready to begin.

<kalonZombie> *Hale stops inches before he hits her, waiting for her to pass "I see. Well I never got that deep into it, but let's just say before military school I was probably going to be another inmate at some jail"
<Seraphna> * Tabetha smiles, the old lady clears just as three bikers in black uniforms start to come up on them. "I see... I never went to a school."
<kalonZombie> *Hale punches the car through the bikers "Well to be fair I hardly went before Military School to begin with. Didn't see the point"
<Seraphna> * Tabetha giggles and holds on as the car speeds onto the highway, the bikes dogging it to keep up.

<Seraphna> * Tabetha blinks and giggles, leaning over to steet, practically in Hale's lap.
<kalonZombie> *Hale leans out the window as best he can, and tries shooting out the biker's tires
<Seraphna> * One gets hit and crashes into the other, the other cleverly drives to the other side of the car, taking shots.
<kalonZombie> *Hale takes cover under the window, peeking up when the shots cease, aiming for the gas tank
<Seraphna> * Tabetha keeps driving, Hale's next shot blows up the bike in an overly dramatic explosion.

<Seraphna> * Tabetha snickers and pulls him back in to drive. "There is a safe house several miles from here."
<kalonZombie> <Hale> Just give me the directions and I'll get us there
<Seraphna> * Tabetha touches a GPS and the directions pop up. She leans against him and coos. "You did good."

<Seraphna> * They arrive at a garage which seems completely empty, Tabetha saunters her way up to a fusebox and starts messign with it.

<Seraphna> * Tabetha closes it and the wall slides away revealing a fancy looking elevator.

<Seraphna> * The elevator takes them down into a large living space out of some spy movie, fancy car beyond a row of high tech computers at the far end, bar, living area, kitchen, and of course, a huge bed.
<kalonZombie> *Hale looks around, taking the glasses off again "Fancy."
<Seraphna> Tabetha> "Of course." *she walks over to the bar, starting to make herself a drink* "Why don't you see what's in the package?"
<kalonZombie> *Hale sets the package down and starts opening it up
<Seraphna> * Inside is a gun, a watch, and a belt buckle, all fancy spy looking. A holoimage projects showing Cole, wearing an eyepatch and smoking a huge cigar. "This is the notorious criminal, Colephantus, we have word that he's making a huge exchange for nuclear weapons downtown tomorrow night. You and Agent... McCormick are to infiltrate the meeting and take down the evil Colephantus."

<Seraphna> "This message will self destruct in 10 seconds."
<kalonZombie> *Hale closes the case and waits for the telltale smoke
<Seraphna> * It smokes, then turns into an apple pie.
<kalonZombie> <Hale> That's... interesting.
<Seraphna> * Tabetha walks back over with her wine. "Oh, the game is in safety mode, so much death becomes knock outs and explosions... well... that's the best I could think of so far. I write this one in about 20 minutes."
<kalonZombie> <Hale> It's fine. It was just a bit odd.
<Seraphna> * Tabetha giggles and walks over to sit on the bed.
<kalonZombie> *Hale walks over as well and stands next to it "It's all very impressive."
<Seraphna> * Tabetha giggles and looks up at him. "Thank you."
<kalonZombie> *Hale grins "Can't wait to see what kind of character I get turned into."
<Seraphna> * Tabetha giggles and lounges a bit. "Well, we have till tomorrow night in the game timeline, what would you like to do with the time?"

<Seraphna> * Tabetha looks up at him innocently. "Oh?"
<kalonZombie> <Hale> Well, it's usually at around this point in the movie the spy and his lovely assistant hook up, but you're taken already, and while I may flirt with taken women, I don't go all the way.
<Seraphna> * Tabetha giggles and sits up, she taps a datapad quickly. "Well, it is a game, is that what you want to do?"
<kalonZombie> <Hale> Wouldn't your fiance get mad?
<Seraphna> * Tabetha giggles. "Just answer honestly."
<kalonZombie> <Hale> Well yeah. Trust me, if you weren't taken, I'd already be all over you.
<Seraphna> * Tabetha giggles again and presses a button. The room goes pitch black, and Hale feels an odd displacement, when the light comes back, he's naked in bed with Tabetha laying asleep next to him, the room looks like there was a wild party in it the night before, night before, as the clock now reads 11 AM.
<kalonZombie> *Hale blinks "Well then, at least we stayed true to the moveis"
<Seraphna> * Tabetha actually seems asleep, as she rolls over in the covers, nuzzling her pillow.
<kalonZombie> *Hale smiles at the sight, instantly jealous of the lucky girl who has her
<Seraphna> * Tabetha yawns a little and nuzzles her pillow more. "Like my fade to black mode...?"
<kalonZombie> <Hale> It's a nice touch. I got what I wanted, and you didn't piss your future wife off.
<Seraphna> * Tabetha giggles. "You mean you didn't. She'd shoot you then mate me all night long to reaffirm who's in charge."
<Seraphna> * Tabetha looks away. "Then maybe spank me."
<kalonZombie> <Hale> Well I meant in a movie sense. Like I said, you're taken, and I may flirt with you a bit, but I wouldn't dream of touching you inappropriately.
<Seraphna> * Tabetha rolls over and leans up, kissing him on the lips before slipping her naked form out of the bed and heading to a nearby shower.
<kalonZombie> *Hale watches, then puts his hands behind his head, smiling. "Still got it."
<Seraphna> * Tabetha finishes her shower after a little while and steps out, putting on a robe. "So, I believe we should scope out the location and prepare our epic infiltration."
<kalonZombie> <Hale> Agreed. Just like in Wraith squad.
<Seraphna> * Tabetha smiles. "You should perhaps shower and put something on, you have made an impressive tent."
<kalonZombie> *Hale grins "You should see it when I'm at full attention *He says as he gets up and heads for the shower
<Seraphna> * Tabetha wiggles, by the time he gets out, she's slipping into a standard issue sexy cohort jumpsuit with all sorts of gadgets on it.

<Seraphna> * Tabetha nods and smiles, slipping out, she looks up at a tall skyscraper. "The meeting is going to be up there."
<kalonZombie> <Hale> Right. Let's go... there *He points to a building not too far away from it "...and scope the place out.
<Seraphna> * Tabetha nods and hooks her arm in his. "Lead the way handsome."
<kalonZombie> *Hale smiles and nods "Of course, m'lady" *He leads the way to the building, then wonders what the best way to get to the roof of the place without looking suspicious would be
<Seraphna> * Tabetha winks and puts an arm around him, she then starts to leap, going all Dragoon on him, she carries him up, windowpane to roofside, soon having them on the roof, where she casually sets him down and looks across at the building.

<Seraphna> * Tabetha smiles, after a while they map out where all the guards are on the top 10 floors and scope out the security, which Tabetha starts to remote-hack.
<kalonZombie> *Hale continues to scope out the place "I mean, he had a kill count higher than three out of four of my operatives combined. Almost all four of us."
<Seraphna> * Tabetha peers ahead. "We are tools made to fight a war."
<kalonZombie> <Hale> Yeah but you're also still people. Don't forget that.
<Seraphna> Tabetha> "I do not, but I also do not attempt to deny my core nature. It is someone who can embrace what they are, accept it, and use it, that can best protect those she loves."

<kalonZombie> <Hale> Well sharks are better than tied to a chair with a laser slowly inching towards... you know what? You've gotten enough ideas already. We should strike soon, possibly even later today while they're not expecting us.
<Seraphna> * Tabetha nods, after a spinning scene transition, Tabetha has gotten Hale to the roof of the badguy's building and is hacking into their local terminal.
<kalonZombie> *Hale shakes his head to reorientate himself, then stands at the door frame, instinct from his commando days
<Seraphna> * Tabetha unlocks the door and motions him in.
<kalonZombie> *Hale slides in, his pistol pointed in front of him, sizing up the situation
<Seraphna> * Stairs lead ominously down to the pent house level.
<kalonZombie> *Hale goes down them slowly, his pistol always trained in front of him
<Seraphna> * He arrives in a hall with two thugs talking at the other end of it, they look big and tough. Wearing bad suits.
<kalonZombie> *Hale tries to sneak up on them and then slam their heads into each other to knock them out
<Seraphna> * Being a secret agent man, he totally pulls it off, they were arguing over who some 'Ms. Blue' loved more.
<kalonZombie> <Hale> Now that's using your head *He quips, like any good spy would
<Seraphna> * He is rewarded with the sight of another doorway.
<kalonZombie> *He huddles over to the side of it, then opens it a crack to peek through the other side
<Seraphna> * Inside is a large lab, with an overly obvious nuclear warhead. Cole stands in front of it, smoking a cigar as he laughs like a supervillain. At his side is a scantily dressed evil Blue. We know she's evil because she has an eyepatch.

<Seraphna> * Cole starts preaching to a group of luitenant thugs how he'll get revenge on Mega City for his years in Mega Jail. (Tabetha clearly needs to work on her dialouge.)
<kalonZombie> *Hale pops out from behind him, a gun to his head "The only revenge you'll be getting is from the stomach aches from prison food, Colephantus"
<Seraphna> * Cole looks annoyed and aims a heavily robotic arm for Hale's side.
<kalonZombie> *Hale tries to dodge out of the way, then fires at Cole, missing dramatically for story's sake
<Seraphna> * Some thugs get up behind him and knock him out, he awakens in a cell, hanging over a pit filled with sharks. Sharks with lasers.

<Seraphna> * There is also a very angry mutant sea bass.
<Seraphna> * The guard, oddly, is a little blonde girl, with fox ears and a tail, and a huge eyepatch.
<kalonZombie> *Hale looks around for Cole
<Seraphna> * The little girl waves her gun menacingly at him.
<kalonZombie> <Hale> Where's your boss?
<Seraphna> "'opper!" *she waves the gun more, the cell door slips open, and a hand pushes a plate of cookies inside, the little girl drops the gun and crawls over the feast on cookies, Tabetha sneaks in*
<kalonZombie> *Hale smiles at her, then starts swinging so that way she can cut him down without the sharks eating him
<Seraphna> * She shoots his rope as he swings and catches him. She giggles. "I rescued you!"
<kalonZombie> <Hale> Never doubted it for a second love
<Seraphna> * Tabetha lets him down and giggles. "Now, shall we stop the evil Cole?"
<Seraphna> * Evil Guard Lorelei eats cookies.
<kalonZombie> <Hale> It would be an honor to do so with you
<Seraphna> * Tabetha giggles a bit, then leads him stealthily down a few hallways, back to the Nuke Room where Cole is holding a meeting about distributing it.
<kalonZombie> *Hale holds his pistol up, and ignores every instinct that tells him to just take the shot "It's over Colephantus"
<Seraphna> * Cole stares in disbelief and yells, "Get them!" And in typical fashion, the minions move to shoot at them, all terrible shots, Evil Blue Charges at Tabetha and they have their sexy catfight scene.
<kalonZombie> *Hale dives for cover and then returns fire at the minions
<Seraphna> * As expected, no one shoots in Blue and Tabby's diretion as they kick and karate chop at each other, humorously some guards stop to watch.
<kalonZombie> *Hale takes advantage of the situation and shoots them, saving a quip for when he takes down the big bad
<Seraphna> * The guards start to fall, as Tabetha takes Blue down, Cole crashes into her tossing her into a wall, demaning retribution from Hale.
<kalonZombie> *Hale comes out "Leave her out of this Cole. It's me you want."
<Seraphna> * Cole turns to face him and taps ashes off his cigar. "Oh yeah little human?"
<kalonZombie> <Hale> Why don't we settle this like men? Mano-a-mano
<Seraphna> * Cole drops Tabby who sqeaks, then cracks his knuckles. "Let's go."
<kalonZombie> *Hale drops his gun and rushes at the man, his commando instinct going crazy at him, since he would have normally just shot him after he let Tab go
<Seraphna> * Cole shifts to block his oncoming strike.
<kalonZombie> *Hale leads him on, then swings his other fist into Cole's side
<Seraphna> * Cole takes the blow and grunts, taking way more damage then Hale should be capable of, yay for game stats!

<Seraphna> * Cole stumbles back, then catches Hale in the gut, then under the chin, the enemy has to get in some blows so Hale has manly injuries.
