<DeathStar> 6* Xanatos sits through his fourth hour of the diplomats freaking out about hyperspace, not even paying attention to the offer of help from PAX to track missing shuttles. So far they've been doing jumps, picking on Earth's people, since only Earth ahs done so. Kyun sits quietly in the meeting as well, not raising a fuss like others who are demanding to find who attacked and blaming each other. Paladin is there, having teleported in during the night. Elsewhere, the ship continues to run as best it can in the cirumstances. Aya and Dawn are in the hanger, trying to tell people stealing PAX crafted shuttles is not the answer and it will be bad. Erevis has been busy getting the government system in place for things to be judged and tried on the PAX, working up the last of the paperwork with help - while in the medical room with Athena, both recovering
<DeathStar> 6* Ao is on the bridge, eyeing all the blips on the monitors there about this and that, recovering from taking the turn to jump last time. They jump every 2 hours to pick up someone. Isis is in the hanger, working with Gem of all people on getting new PAX shuttles created.
<DeathStar> 6* Athena looks up at her bed, looking bored.
<Kit> <Nuea> This ship is in non-ideal circumstances.
<Xanatos> 6* Xanatos sits there quietly, staring at the diplomats while they freak out, Theron is also there, eyes scanning to each diplomat, Kyun especially.
<Seraphna> * Jennifer steps in with a tray of snacks for Athena, smiling. "Bored dear?"
<DeathStar> 6* Athena looks up, nodding. She leans over to give Erevis an idea, which Erevis includes. "Everyone is tense."

We should be working with our people's agencies to find out where each shuttle was when the attacked occurred and give it to the PAX. 6* The races protest handing over such data.
<Xanatos> 6* Drasek is laying on the couch, resting in preperation for his next jump. Kellin is propped up against the wall in Athena's room, he's resting as well, which means he's drinking a smoothie.

<Seraphna> * Jennifer holds out a sandwich to Athena. "Mmm, yes they are. Eventually they'll settle down and go with whatever help they can get.

<DeathStar> 6* The various races throw accussiations at Xanatos for not sharing PAX technology with them
<DeathStar> 6* Ao comms Leyaeh, letting them know they picked up the latest shuttle. Next they're going after the shuttle that left PAX to head to Earth when the 'attack' hit. She calls up Drasek to the bridge.

<DeathStar> 6* Ao eyes the hanger sign in they're secure and motions Drasek to jump them. She gives the ship the 1 minute count down treatment. Aya glances up and heads to the teleporter with Dawn; Dawn would notice part of her uniform is torn from the stampede.

<kalonZombie> *Hale just gives her a odd look and then heads back to Em with the deck

<kalonZombie> *Hale sits across from Em, shuffling the cards
<DeathStar> 6* Billy sits to one side too, waiting for her cards
<kalonZombie> *He eyes Billy, but deals her in regardless
<DeathStar> 6* Billy looks at her cards, all stoic face. Em looks at her's. "How do you win?"
<kalonZombie> <Hale> Well, this is Texas Hold Em, so for right now, you just look at those two cards, don't tell anybody what you have, and try your best not to let your face reveal anything
<kalonZombie> *He then explains the rules, about different card values and the different combinations, and their rankings for winning

<kalonZombie> <Hale>... and finally there's the straight flush, which is a combination of a flush and a straight. It's extremely rare, but nothing can beat it.

<kalonZombie> <Hale> There are different variations of Poker, but in Texas Hold Em, each player is given two cards, and then four are drawn one at a time that everyone shares. You make your bets before the cards are shown.
<DeathStar> <Billy> I want to play strip poker.
<kalonZombie> <Hale> No.
<DeathStar> <Em> What's that?
<kalonZombie> <Hale> If you lose a hand you have to remove a piece of clothing.
<DeathStar> <Em> I see; good thing I do not plan to lose!
<kalonZombie> <Hale> Well it doesn't matter anyway cause we're not playing that version. Right now it's just practice. *He pulls out some chips and hands them to everyone
<DeathStar> 6* Em takes her's and as does Billy. Billy smiles cutely
<kalonZombie> *Hale looks at his cards, smiles, and puts in a chip
<DeathStar> 6* Billy does the same, and Em pausesm then does so
<kalonZombie> *Hale puts down a card, it's a two of clubs "Raise *He says, putting in two chips
<DeathStar> 6* They put their cards down, the GM being tired, and annoyed, just notes each have good cards. yes. Good cards.
<kalonZombie> *As does Hale. He has good cards too. Maybe the best. WHO KNOWS.
<DeathStar> 6* Indeed! As they play, though, Hale would sense Billy is a master player as she wins the first round somehow
<DeathStar> 6* Em eyes Billy suspiciously, or in awe
<kalonZombie> *Hale manages to win the second round, putting Billy in her place
<DeathStar> 6* Billy just smiles, then wins the next somehow, despite Hale having a good hand
<kalonZombie> *Hale narrows his eyes at Billy, and manages to bluff her out of a good hand despite having nothing good himself
<DeathStar> 6* Billy, apparantly, does not fall for bluffs and wins
<DeathStar> 6* Billy smiles
<DeathStar> <Em> Wow, that is why she is #5 on most powerful list.
<kalonZombie> <Hale> Hrmph.
<DeathStar> 6* Hale would see for a moment a devil tail behind her
<DeathStar> 6* It almost semed ot be holding a card or two

<DeathStar> 6* Billy blinks, then holds up her hands and feet; no tail appears now

<DeathStar> 6* Billy loses gracefully
<kalonZombie> *Hale gets another really good hand the next deal
<DeathStar> 6* Billy smirks as if she knows it; she lays down the perfect counjter to it somehow
<kalonZombie> *Hale narrows his eyes at her "I think I need to call you out on something"
<DeathStar> 6* Billy looks innocent. "Y-You are saying I-I'm cheating. Bully!" 6* She runs off crying. Em watches her go, then sulks. <Em> I haven't won yet.
<kalonZombie> <Hale> You keep folding too much. Here, hold on *He goes to her side, and deals out the cards "I'm going to look at your next couple hands and help you, okay?
<DeathStar> 6 *Em nods and gets set up
<kalonZombie> *He looks at the cards, and a training montage ensues as he teaches her the values of bluffing and occasionally keeping a bad hand
<DeathStar> 6* Em is amazed how in 2 mins, she gains knowledge
