The past Mega City, called simply Valley Town due to the valley it's in, is a sleepy city with a small population. Landing outside the city and nearly wrecking the plane since Cheryl didn't want to risk questions in a small town, they climb out

The most likely source is Tess Arakawa, a Senior in High School - accoridng to Miyuki she is a bitch, though she admits that there was a few occassions that she acted like a completely different person like the person yesterday

<Seraphna> Kumiko> "Could be a private investor. Look up the student directory, she goes to school with Miyuki and Kasha."

<AquaKoala> *Del hmms, and goes through for any newspapers involving the family, and anything publicly traded between Cran and Arakawas, as well as the student directory
<DeathStar> 6* Cran's corporations seem to be more leaning toward things on the North America side of the world and Europe, with some arm dealings and military dealings, no ties; the student diectory for Tess lists her as an A+ student and genius with perfect attendance somehow, even when she was apparantly at her grandfather's funeral at the same time. Kasha could likely verify if she was indeed at school that day.

<DeathStar> 6* Isis follows Miyuki, all proper. Up ahead Tess is walking, the melancholy and thoughtful air about her like yesterday, not the normal Tess, but the one off Tess they see sometimes that is odd and nice and thoughtful

<DeathStar> 6* Tess blinks at them as they enter; she looks at Miyuki and Kasha, taking a moment, then recognition, then looks at the others, as if triyng to place them and peers down at her iphone as if looking for their information. She tries to sound calm. "Hello - here for the meeting?"
<Kit> 6Kasha walks the halls of the school with half-lidded eyes that look hawkish and serious, confident and no-nonsense.
<Chain> 6*Miyuki tries to sense out why she's trying to sound calm, preparing her silver tongue if she has to do some serious sweettalking

<Seraphna> Kumiko> "If I was trying to guarantee immortality for myself, I'd cut all loose ends once the process was attained. It's possible that my grandfather cut out the Arakawas after it proved a success."

<Seraphna> Kumiko> "The history books matter, but if we interrupt things unrecorded they can also change things... it sounds like we have to make sure Tess lives."

<AquaKoala> Del> Alright, nevermind then, and the whole idnetical twin thing is confusing for me.

<Seraphna> * Kumiko peers down. "Are we sure that's how it happens and that Tess isn't just outwardly mean?"

<Seraphna> Kumiko> "It's a point I guess... but how do we alter genetic coding? Vodka isn't here and most of our experts on that are back in the present."
<DeathStar> <Isis> It could be if we gave Tess' genetic coding to Naomi it could work
<DeathStar> <Isis> We will know more once we go to this ritual by the order Thomas Cran and the Elder Arakawa set up

<DeathStar> 6* Arriving at a hillside with a large Japanese wall that keeps people out, Naomi shows them a way inside that she found as a young child when she wanted to sneak out to escape her fate and get away, but fell ill and was found later. They are soon in the complex, a large compound that is beautiful, but cold and rigid, unlike the Arakawa one of the future that Billy maintains. <DeathStar> 6* There's a door way nearby - they can try to get inside and esacpe
<Jackieness> 6* One Eye moves for the door and then tries to kick it in.
<Seraphna> Seth> "Through here...? Damnit let's just run." *he moves to the doorway too*
<DeathStar> 6* It kicks in - alarms go off, but it's in. Rosetta speeds up the storyi n, telling them they manage to go inside and mix inside what they later discovered was an airport. She jumps ahead (prepare for next line)
<DeathStar> 6* After getting some clothes in the airporta nd getting out, they spotted Aschae being lifted up from the ground, bloodied, by Thomas Cran, who had recently, they later learned, returned from being missing. Rosetta spotted her rubbing his ear and musing and that made her feel strange, so she made sure to hide her own as he lifted her up into his vehicle and drove off.

<DeathStar> 6* Rosetta speeds up, saying it took them over 2 months to find out where Aschae was taken, to Cran's manor, which was familiar to those who went into the angel's memories, apparantly.
<DeathStar> 6* There, they had to wait another month before they had a chance to have a random encounter with Aschae, who was fully healed, and still wearing her slave garments, by choice, out int he garden...
<DeathStar> 6* Aschae, who is outside, is doing her thing when Rosetta, Seth, and one Eyed, having managed to sneak in, approach her finally
