What will history pick? Will they best Midori in the past, or can the past not be changed, like an unbending river? Erevis once told Ama - history abhors a paradox and will do anything to fix it

<DeathStar> 6* A procession of people approach the stone blocks under the nearly full moon, with the completely full moon tomorrow. The twins - Tess and Naomi - walk alone, dressed in virginal white. Tess walking all haughty and smugly. Their father, the head of the Arakawa family, leading the process with Thomas Cran beside him. Midori is near the lead too, a smug look and wild gleam.

The drummers drum annoyingly and Midori watches, eyes gleaming - apparantly interested in the mines too for some reason

<DeathStar> 6* Isis watches; the camera follows the others as they head along the half mile.
<DeathStar> 6* After they reach the tree they used to get over, the drain stops, however the link to Del snaps for Josephine

<DeathStar> 6* The area shakes and a shockwave knocks them all on their feet, a green beam shoots into the air

<DeathStar> 6* After moving back toward the epi-center, where the drain still exists, but weaker, they see the area has exploded a bit - the people are all on the ground, knocked over - one of the 'twins' has been thrown far away and looks weak and like she might not live long - the other looks healthier and strong. Cran is nowhere to be seen, likely seeing the machines exploding as a bad sign with the Arkawas and wondering what went wrong. Midori is glowing green and laughing, not caring what the end result was here, and she is giving off the spiritual drain now - she moves off faster than a normal kitsune. No doubt tomorrow tricking her will be harder than it normally would have been. But with her gone, the drain fade away. Isis and Del are on the ground, with Isis pushing herself up and shaking her head. The head of the Arakawa family, injured, looks about, a sword on his dress robe, enraged

The other twin is sitting up in a daze, peering toward them unfocused, saying nothing as she's surrounded by guards loyal to her now as the head of the family with the father dead. As the team escapes unnoticed in the carnage they reach the van in mere moments

Following that, Cheryl has led her team below to learn Ama has indeed given birth and the Suisen Empire has been prospering well, and doing their own things as usual. As for Steel, he's been forced to abandon the mine after Cheryl discovered it and Angela and DArien moved their own people in to mine it, and they got their own weight of the green stuff for study, which is still a mystery to them.
