<Seraphna> A wedding between Wyrd and Cersei marks the day. While the two are wed, a commotion breaks out at the buffet, and a naked Maka is discovered. Lia brings her to a seat and checks in her while the ceremony runs. Cersei and Wyrd make their vows and they are wed, the objections only met when someone in back, a small, petite someone, pointedly leaves and vanishes before Bel, who goes to see who
<Seraphna> it is, can catch her. The group parties and celebrates the union.

<Seraphna> Jubei is in her mother's office, as the temporary leader of the Rose Knights hands his position to her, the rightful leader by right of having restored the Rune Blade. Now with command of the Rune Knights and Rose Knights, Jubei agrees to take him as interim leader while she leaves to fix the leylines, and agrees with Jean to look into Knight recruits for the mission.
<Seraphna> Arriving in Port Regius, the Umbal party is finally in the Empire but without Mirrors will have to make the long trek across former Sinai to get to Jeanole. This opens an oppurtunity for Jean to spend time away from the influence of the Empire's priestesses, however, Tsuki shuts one possible door when she acts rude towards Jean when Truth and Ama both suggest looking over the two to see

<Seraphna> The group in Mercy gathers to discuss their plans going forward when there's a crash in the courtyard. They move outside to find Anima E standing there, and it soon is dismissed into it's gauntlet by it's pilot, Mimi McTreggor, who has Ro'an with her. With the two returned and news of at least one Anima not in the hands of the Tribunal, the group is a bit more at ease. Juliet and Zegretta
<Seraphna> then outline the plan for two groups to go after the Leylines and the Demon Realm, and the group divides as such:
<Seraphna> Empire-Demon Realm's group: Kaelan, Lessa, Jean, Umi, Asha, Cersei, Wyrd, Mimi, Sal, Rica
<Seraphna> Leyline Team: Jubei, Angel, Moira, Lia, Lyn, Kohna, Lin, Bel, Narok, Fate, Ailee, Finn

<Seraphna> The leyline team departs by ship, as they begin to cast off, Fate suddenly expresses disinterest in going and departs. Angel theorizes that Fate only claimed to be going this way to that she could misdirect Wyrd, feeling like a third wheel now that her sister is married.

<Seraphna> Arriving in Ametsune, the group encounters a festival where people trade chocolates for hot loving. A caravan is prepared and the group departs for the trip to the capital itself.

<Seraphna> In Al'hryl, Jean's group stops at the location of the old city of Sinai, a new city built on it's ruins. Here they check in for an inn and Truth suggests they take a look around to find if there's any interesting sites where people may have sealed off ruins. While they do this, the team finds statues of themselves in many... colorful choices of manners and water spout effects.
<Seraphna> The Leyline party arrives in Gemet, where they are greeted by Hoko, Zuzu and others and they present the letter from Juliet asking to help them find the Sky People. Lyn is finally home, and Hoko promises to help how they can.

They are all gathered at a dining table as they talk, Zuzu looking fabulous, wearing a nice collar herself these days and Zun sipping his drink, looking dignified. Bridgette talks to Aurora, chatting her up, while Angel, Lyn, Lin, Maka, Cleo, and Urr eat at the table as well

<Jackieness> <Moira> "So..." *looks at the others* "Do we just wait here and eat while they are doing what they are doing?"

<DeathStar> 6* There is a beam of light to the side of the palace. Angel squints, as if seeing it and steps out; Cleo and Urr bounce out, curiously and Maka follows

<Jackieness> <Moira> *rises and moves outside as well*

<DeathStar> 6* A giant airship looms there, a wooden ship, with moving parts on the sides that make noises and poofs of sound as steam and things move on it, like conveyer band parts you'd see on the line, moving along it to make parts move, and a mast with a giant sail as it lowers, the steam puffs coming out the back as it lowers

<DeathStar> 6* Metal plating added to parts of the ship for reinforcement to attacks, but light enough not to weigh it down

<DeathStar> 6* Bald men proceed down the ramps in monk like clothing, about three pairs of three.

<DeathStar> 6* The people, looking like a mixture of humans and other races, though their features are subtle, and perhaps hidden with a glitter spell study Hoko
<Nyaomi> 6Jubei takes Angel's hand and leads her over to study the ship from a distance

<DeathStar> 6* Angel moves over, studying them with red eyes, frowning a little. One of the other groups of three study Angel, clearly knowing a little of the girl who keeps flying despite warnings
<Chain> <Hoko> the ability we had with my mothers mirrors is now disrupted, but there are other things we need to ask of you 6*she looks to the others to bring up what they need
<Seraphna> Lia> "We're seeking passage in the skies, not as high as the islands, just to get around, and a means to fly."
<Nyaomi> <Jubei> We're looking for an efficient method of traveling to the leylines to investigate their degradation.
<Jackieness> <Moira> *crosses her amrs* "And save the world."
<Nyaomi> <Jubei> Therefore we wish to make negotiations for the means to do so.

<DeathStar> 6* The monks follow her up; as they get onboard the deck, they see it looks much like a ship deck, with a steering wheel and a crew on it, wearing monk like robes, however there is a wind mana crystal with the mast, glowing, as monks chant to it

<DeathStar> 6* The crystal looks to be no bigger than a hand
<DeathStar> 6* The lead monk takes the wheel and they begin to fly up; puff puff puff
<AquaKoala> Bel> I was hoping for more balloons
<Jackieness> <Moira> "Otherwise reminds me of any other ship... sve that the water is alot further down."

<DeathStar> 6* They begin to fly higher and higher, the ground beginning to get small; Ama's palace becoming a small tit below
<DeathStar> 6* As they go up they begin to pass clouds
<Jackieness> <Moira> "From up here... the palace looks like..." *tilts her head to the side*

<DeathStar> 6* As they move up through the clouds, they begin to approach one of five islands close to them, a rather small island, but as they move up to it from below, rising from the clouds, a giant Leviathan like monster, perhaps a mutated serpent queen, flies up from the clouds, roaring monsterously, it's size unlike anything they have seen before. The monks chant and put up a shimmering shield arounhd the ship to go invisible, drawing on the crystal and the Leviathan flies by with all it 's riches on it's body - gems and emblems
<Seraphna> * Lia offers Melody some more meet as she peers around. She blinks and stares. "Wh-What was that?"

<Nyaomi> <Jubei> That could fund several countries..!

<DeathStar> 6* They fly on toward the small island where a temple seems to be built, made like in the style of Ancient Greece - there are trees and greenery and a pool. There are few other ships here, a few with balloons
<DeathStar> 6* And one can feel the leyline here, burning bright
<Nyaomi> <Jubei> A leyline..!
<DeathStar> 6* The Sky Person Leader of this group steps down and they move in a group of 9 again, and DS' people follows, Angel glaring at Jubei sullenly.

<Jackieness> <Moira> *moves down after the monks*
<AquaKoala> *Bel follows, looking around
<DeathStar> <Sky Person> *He points at the temple* You will pass the trials inside and cleanse yourselves, to see if you are worthy of becoming protectors of the leylines. See if the wind accepts you; if it does not, you will be destroyed utterly. If it does, you will be given an airship and allowed to visit our city.

<Nyaomi> 6Jubei clasps her hands cheerfully and practically hops foot to foot, beaming

<Jackieness> <Moira> "Then not in front of the monks..."
<Nyaomi> <Jubei> And ever since my contact with the leyline with Angie I've been gathering mana to me naturally. This place... I can't help it... I feel so giddy!
<Seraphna> * LIa blinks a bit. "One of my Aegis' is recovering from a revival, I can keep her close... but will she be able to handle this?"
<AquaKoala> *Bel gives a thumb ups "No problem.
<Nyaomi> 6Jubei giggles off to the side, dancing around in a circle-- a lot like when she was a child before Rose training
<DeathStar> 6* The monks pray, not telling them what to take in - it seems literally they can carry inside what they think they need to face the holy wind temple
<DeathStar> 6* Angel holds the mist emblem and her crescent dagger
<DeathStar> 6* Angel puts things in her backpack

<Seraphna> * Lia blinks, holding Maka's hand. She looks at her and focuses on the bond a bit.

<AquaKoala> *Bel moves up in her dominatrix armour with whip and her cutlass
<Jackieness> <Moira> *lowers her voice* "What do you think, Angel?"
<Nyaomi> 6Jubei takes her assortment of swords with her, but leaves behind the rest.

<DeathStar> 6* The monks study them. "Remember, you face what you bring in your hearts."
<Nyaomi> 6Jubei brings her hands together and bows to them, then cheerfully heads on ahead

<Jackieness> <Moira> *nods and then looks toward the temple* "Something familiar about this..."
<DeathStar> 6* Lin follows quickly
<Seraphna> * Lia blinks, she leaves her staff behind and her pack with mage things and books.
<DeathStar> 6* Angel tosses a few things out of her pack and follows
<DeathStar> 6* Lyn follows casually, hands behind her head, whistling
<Seraphna> Lia> "I need only my allies."
<Seraphna> * Lia moves along, guiding Maka since no one answered her question about her.

<Jackieness> <Moira> *heads in toward the temple*
<DeathStar> 6* As they enter the doors, they see people in the main area praying - children, adults, women - the women being the only ones who are not bald, well, most of them. At first some look elvish and kitsune, but then they all look humanish, as if the glitter spell is back up
<DeathStar> 6* The area inside the temple feels prestine and clean as people pray at a fountain water, clearing their minds; an old monk is there, then gives each one a drink of the water. "Drink deep and enter."
<DeathStar> 6* Each person does and steps through the doorway, sometimes alone, sometimes in groups. Some are armed, some aren't, some have rope and items like glowstones, some have windpacks, somehave other gadgets unknown to them, some have pets
<AquaKoala> *Bel sips the water
<DeathStar> <Monk> Drink deep.
<Nyaomi> 6Jubei gulps it, smiling.
<DeathStar> 6* Angel prays and drinks deep; the water is fresh and prestine, like they are drinking the mana itself; it feels like life
<Seraphna> * Lia drinks deep as instructed, she makes sure Maka does too.
<DeathStar> 6* Maka drinks it and dunks her head in
<DeathStar> 6* Lyn drinks deep of it
<Seraphna> * Lia giggles a little, giving Melody a drink.
<DeathStar> 6* Lin hesitates then drinks.
<Jackieness> <Moira> *drinks of the mana water*
<DeathStar> 6* The monk begins to send them all in but Belit since she sipped it
<DeathStar> 6* They can feel their senses heighted and distorted at the same time, like the world has gone loopy and sane - they are clearly drugged, but not in a bad way, like an acid trip that is not bad
<Seraphna> Lia> "Heeee... I feel like that time we tried Peaceweed..."
<AquaKoala> *Bel takes a deep drink

<DeathStar> 6* As they move along, seeing and tasting colors, Maka giggling, immediately they are hit by Jubei wretching herself out of herself and turning to face them

<Seraphna> Lia> "Angel, having any fantasies?"

<Jackieness> <Moira> *clicks her tongue* "I left a part of myself back in a past life. That part fell in love and started a family with Revi. I'm not so detached afterall, at least in tiems of peace. Right now is a tiem of war.. A war against the world's end."
<Seraphna> * Lia blinks, she peers around and feels for her link with the two, wanting to be sure they're alright, though knowing she should have felt panic if something was amiss.
<Nyaomi> 6Jubei stands up and calls on the wind mana around and drives it into the falsa Moira tastelessly as a series of wind blades.
<DeathStar> 6* The vision Moira is struck again and again and again, blood running down her. "Yes. War. That is what you tell yourself. That is a time of war. You do not have time to get close. You have been more concerned with a lost sword than lost comrades lately. The fact is you use excuses of war than to get close, than to find comfort in others' company. But the winds of war are blowing and you it takes one who knows life to calm them and make them calm again. Instead of lashing out wildly.

<DeathStar> 6* She circles Belit. "And there lies your failure. For someone to listen to the wind, to save the leylines, they have to put themselves on the line - they have to work with others. The leylines are connected, they are a worldwide problem. They are the lifeblood of the planet. They are everyone's problem."

Even those who left early continued to watch, in ghost form, like Jubei; Lin sits up, groaning, having been watching despite being 'taken out'. It seems the entire thing was a spirit walk. Others around them wake up from their own journey.
<DeathStar> 6* The monk nods sagely, leaning on his stick
<DeathStar> <Monk> It seems that enough of you passed to get a ship and visit our leyline. Follow me
<DeathStar> 6* He begins to move toward a hidden set of doors
<Sera> * Lia blinks and mews, yawning a bit. She takes Maka's hand again to walk after him.
<Aqua> *Bel blinks and follows, rubbing her head
<DeathStar> 6* Maka sits up and looks around, holding Melody, who flaps.
<Jackieness> <Moira> *stands up and stretches* "Finally."
<DeathStar> 6* Lin touches herself, shivering at the slash then floating as a ghost and watching

<Nyaomi> 6Jubei is silent, her expression hidden in her disheveled hair, her ribbons having come untied.
<DeathStar> 6* Lyn and Angel get up and follow, with Lin clinging to Jubei. The monk opens the doors and inside is the leyline, filled to the brim

<Nyaomi> 6Jubei draws the rune blade out and manipulates her hand, far more careful than last time, directing it toward the blade.

<DeathStar> <Lyn> It was pointing out faults in regards to the mission of the leyline questy
<Nyaomi> 6Jubei quietly works, focused on the manipulation entirely.
<DeathStar> 6* Even being careful, manipuilating the mana out, a giant massive amount comes flying toward the rune blade
<DeathStar> 6* Like a deadly explosive energy
<Sera> * Lia squeaks and shields herself, Maka and Melody. "Focus it and control it!"

<Nyaomi> 6Jubei directs it to the rune blade, still, but also spells such as jumping, shielding, pushing/pulling and the amount her mana weapons can handle to channel
<Sera> * She nods and begins trying to help her, using their Aegis link to coordinate.
<Nyaomi> <Jubei> We're linked, so you should be able to take what you feel you can handle.
<DeathStar> 6* After a large BOOM, and a giant mushroom cloud of DBZ smoke---
<DeathStar> 6* Jubei and Sia lahy on the ground, the sword filled with wind mana and a scuff marks all over the place, but no crater
<DeathStar> 6* Sia's tail though is on fire
<Nyaomi> <Jubei> I really... need to figure out a better way...

<DeathStar> 6* As they step outside, the monks look up - they are beside a newer, faster model, sans a balloon, and a slower model with balloons
<DeathStar> <Monk> You did well passing the trial - we made it harder and unfairer since you are going on a quest to save the world and you now have the aid of our people. We will tell you more about our people when you come to our city, Icarpolis
<Nyaomi> 6Jubei trails slowly.
<DeathStar> 6* Angel runs all over the balloonless one
<DeathStar> <Lyn> We will go there once we go back down to Ama's palace.
<DeathStar> 6* The monk nods and points out the largest island. "Then please go there when you are ready to learn more and what is happening to the leylines."
<Sera> * Lia paws at the monk. "Mew! Maybe you'll show us what you look like too?" *she seems curious*
<DeathStar> 6* The monk nods to Lia and they move off. Lin looks at Lyn
<DeathStar> <Lin> Why are we going back down to Ama's palace?
<AquaKoala> *Bel looks over the controls for the balloonless one
<Sera> * Lia hums and leads Maka and Melody to the balloonless one.
<DeathStar> <Lyn> To get the holy element - it will be safer to get it there than at Al'hyrl
<Jackieness> <Moira> *boards the balloonless one as that is the one that Angel is running around on*
<Sera> Lia> "I think we have to remember to make this thing invisible while we go down though so we don't get eaten by the giant snakehiss queen."
<DeathStar> 6* Lin hugs onto Jubei and Angel does too, as she takes the steering wheel; the crystal seems to need a wind user to touch it once and pump mana into it, or simply need three non users to chant for 1 minute to get it going
<Nyaomi> <Kohna> That would be preferable.
<DeathStar> 6* For the cloak, all of them need to pump mana into the crystal during the duration
<Nyaomi> 6Jubei puts her hand over the crystal, at least providing that, disheartened.
<DeathStar> 6* After a bit of work they begin to fly and begin to fly back down, landing where the Sky People did - where they can feel the Holy Leyline is at near the palace. Angel studying Jubei worriedly
