<DeathStar> After another meal at Gemet, the leyline party strikes out a mile north to Zuzu's home, where the Holy Leyline is. Extraction is simple here, and Jubei is able to stick the Rune Blade into the mana and fill not on, but two slots of Holy Energy, keeping extra for the road. There is a noticable dip in the Leyline when the Rune Blade extracts, showing that it is possible for the Leylines to deminish as energy is taken. The group returns to Gemet with theri findings and discusses the trip they will have to take with the various leylines each country has.

<DeathStar> In Mercy, Zegretta and Juliet are making final preparations when there's a commotion. Outside they find the second air ship with a note that says that since the other team got permission of the Wind, they have been given temporary license to use an airship. Seeing as this allows them to send a small group in advance of the army, the team chosen to head to the Demon Realm boards. Some make their goodbyes, but are egressed by Mimi, who tries out the wind crystal causing the ship to start taking off. The group boards and flies off, heading for the Empire.
<DeathStar> Crossing Sinai, Empress Jean's group is hot and dealing with it, when a sinking sand pit and a sand worm knock a bunch of Templars aside. The group spots Parita riding the worm and Jean, in a rage, uses a new Wind Bullet technique to rocket after her, the group having to give chase. Jean arrives before them and enters the ruins that Parita ducks into, the others following. The others however, find not Jean but an archive that survived the religious cullings when the Angel religion rose. Butler and Truth gather up some documents before Parita arrives and explains to them she was trying to distract everyone from these archives. That's when the Templars, unharmed and freed from an underground prison by Jean, show up. They see the 'heretic' building and begin to move to destroy it when Jean arrives.
<DeathStar> Parita and Jean get physical, Parita punching Jean in the nose. Parita then uses the moment to slip away and Truth heals Jean's nose. However, Jean is relentless and takes off after Parita, this time, Truth and Butler following attempting to use Wind Magic to copy the Wind Bullet technique, which Jean teaches them along the way. They arrive at the caravan, that Parita is disabling, and wind up having to fight her off. The others in the group following, Rachael is left alone to distract and direct Templars who set fire to the archive while she saves what she can from it that seems important.
<DeathStar> Parita begins to make her exit, leaping on her Sand worm, when Ama shows up and sets the thing on fire after Leruste lets her take the beast if she spares Parita. This however, is not good for either, the worm becoming roasted Worm and Parita vanishing into the flames. The group finds gold and a Worm Seal in the sand. As they depart, Leruste and Rachael leave jugs of water for Parita so she can follow, and Truth tries to leave the seal so she has a ride, Butler snagging it and earning the ire of several of her companions for the act, however, Butler makes it right later by sending a Skurr off to give Parita a ride.

<DeathStar> Jubei's group flies out past Undercity towards a Leyline. Here they nearly lose Maka due to the dangerous climb down into the Leyline to stick the blade in, Maka volunteering. Lia finds, when Maka slips, that her psionics don't seem to function inside the Leyline, and it's Bel and Narok who manage to leap down to tentacle her, Lia's attempt at a magical grab resulting in a small explosion that rockets them back up to the others. They learn here that generally using magic this close to a leyline can be somewhat suicidal, or especially lethal if directed right.
<DeathStar> After deciding to check out the special tower nearby, they find evidence that the place was closed off intended only to be for the Angel's followers. Climbing the tower and moving past legions of skeletal Badelf soldiery remains, they pass through finished challenges to find a vault up top. Here, Phoenixplume uses an orb to take life energy from the last of his soldiers so he can claim the vault contents. After some effort and many cut off limbs, the group manages to subdue and kill the male channeller and a long time bother. Narok lucks out as his tranformation seems to return his missing arms, Finn going sword form so his can be repaired by Moira, Lia having to use powerful sorcery to reattach Bel's arm.
<DeathStar> Their prizes are Whispering Grass, now identified as the Emerald Sword, and a spell Orb with the power of Wind. This is given to Lia, and allows her to use the Angel Wind Spells, a Wind Slash, 10 Tornadoes at Once, an extended Wind Jump and Hurricane. They learn there are other towers just like this that contain similar treasures as well. THey depart, and the remains of Raelic curse as he cannot spread his corruption through the tower to curse the castle and leyline. Perhaps her was really there for more than just treasure.
<DeathStar> In the Empire, the Demon Realm team lands outside the city to let Jean and Umi off, their plan to enter quietly and in disguise, and work to preserve their past selves relationship before coming forth and showing themselves. The others lift back up and head to Jeanole, where they will find out just what sort of reception awaits them as they ask for help in their quest to stop the Demon Realm's threat.

<DeathStar> 6* Flying southward from the tower, they cross over into Badelf, where after traveling southward for a day, passing over a city and following a road south, they soon come to the ocean, where Angel pauses the ship and Lyn loosk down into the waves quietly. Ro'an has her arms crossed and Ailee looks unphased.

<Aqua> *Bel looks over
<Jackieness> <Moira> "Sent it to the bottom of the sea... not that I have any good memories of the place."
<DeathStar> 6* Maka is quiet, leaning over the edge
<DeathStar> <Angel> We could fly westward or eastward if you want, looking for leylines
<Sera> Lia> "We could head to where the volcano was, it could have been destroyed, or being in the center of the fallout it may have taken less damage."
<Jackieness> <Moira> "The volcano was where the fire leyline reached the surface."
<Sera> Lia> "Plus... higher elevation means less chance it fully submerged."
<Nyaomi> <Jubei> It makes the most sense
<DeathStar> <Lyn> If you want to go that far downward when there's ocean this far out from it's destructive nature, but I think you will find nothing
<Sera> Lia> "That's the other possibility of course... maybe we should run the coastline first."

<Sera> Lia> It's unlikely it was only the volcano, so we have a chance searching either way.

<DeathStar> 6* Lin taps her fingers together, going to vote however Jubei does

<Nyaomi> <Jubei> Initially said the volcano... but Lyn serves a good point. I vote the coast-- once Angel is done making us ill.

<DeathStar> 6* Angel turns and flies them toward the west coast
<Sera> Lia> *spins a little dramatically and points as they head that way* To the coast!

<DeathStar> 6* Later that evenig, due to being closer to the coast, they begin to fly back over land and Angel follows a river with Belit's help as navigator, trailing along it as they go
<DeathStar> 6* Until up in the distance two things begin to appear: a mini volcano, compared to the giant one they saw before; it's still rather big as far as volcanos go, just a baby compared to the bottom one, and a giant port city
<Sera> * Lia keeps giving Jubei strange sensations over their bond in revenge as they go along. Most of them arousing and at silly times. "Seems some of Badelf survived."
<kalonZombie> <Narok> It would not surprise me if they did.
<Jackieness> <Moira> "Question is... who is in charge?"
<Sera> Lia> "Not sure we want to learn that. Haven't noticed any other towers, how close can get get to the volcano without drawing attention from the city?"

<DeathStar> <Ro'an> *Studies a map* This should be the port city of Narven
<Sera> Lia> "I'm a fan of avoidng more conflict with groups that have enslaved us before."
<DeathStar> 6* Angel brings the ship around to the south side of the mini volcano
<DeathStar> 6* And goes toward the top of it, slowly lowering near the top of it; the heat from it rocks the under side of it
<Sera> Lia> "Hrm... fire is strong here."
<Aqua> *Bel rises
<DeathStar> 6* Finally they touch down near the top

<Sera> Lia> I do slightly wonder how the people of Badelf are now that they are free from corruption...
<DeathStar> 6* Ro'an gears up and Lyn hops down, with Ro'an following her; Lin cowers in a corner

<Sera> * Lia grabs her staff and checks on Melody, getting ready. She then follows them down.
<DeathStar> 6* Ailee guards the ship, and reads up on any love letters Finn might have
<Jackieness> <Moira> "Are they free from corruption? We removed the corruption from the god that was inside the volcano. Doesn't mean we destroyed it though."
<DeathStar> 6* Lyn and Ro'an walk toward the top slowly
<Nyaomi> <Jubei> Going to stay here, Lin?
<Sera> Lia> "If you remove the source, it can no longer flow and renew itself.
<Sera> Lia> "Like if you remove what's dumping in a river, the water still flows and eventually cleans itself.
<Aqua> *Bel follows, Finn flapping along
<Jackieness> <Moira> *starts the walk up* "Assuming that the god was the source and not just another victim."

<Sera> * Lia follows, keeping close to Maka if she's coming.
<Aqua> *Finn has no love letters thankfully

<DeathStar> <Lyn> From what you all told us, the god was keeping the corruption back with his body
<Jackieness> <Moira> "Yes. Now the cork has been unplugged."
<DeathStar> <Lyn> So he was not the corruption, but holding it back - and the Badelf elves were helping purify the corruption until they became corruption and lost sight of what they were doing
<DeathStar> <Lyn> Yes.
<Sera> Lia> "Yeah... point..."
<Nyaomi> <Jubei> Alright. Take care, Lin.
<Sera> Lia> "Good idea of mine to keep very distant then."
<Nyaomi> 6Jubei pats her head, then speaks to the two rose and joins the others.
<Aqua> *Finn changes, forming into a sword for Bel
<DeathStar> 6* As they get near the top, they see a bunch of elves near it, some soldiers, some citizens - males and females. They turn and see the group approaching and jerk, as if recognizing them and flee down the side of the mountain
<Jackieness> <Moira> "Well... I suppose we have a rep now."
<Aqua> Bel> Huh, that's different.
<Sera> Lia> "Erm... as much as I enjoy avoiding a fight, it's like they were in terror at us."
<Sera> Lia> "They probably blame us entirely for the destruction..." *her ears wilt*

<Aqua> Bel> Well they assumedly do both
<DeathStar> <Ro'an> Hm. Yes.
<Sera> Lia> "Maybe. But fear can lead to even more visceral hatred. We shouldn't stay here long."
<Jackieness> <Moira> "Let's get this over with and move on."
<DeathStar> 6* The two move to the entrance of the volcano and peer down into it. The fire mana can be seen deep, deep down inside, bubbling, the intense heat coming up from up in it. It has to be a good half mile down

<DeathStar> <Ro'an> If that maid was here I'd toss her in with the sword
<Nyaomi> <Jubei> That's mean...
<Sera> * Lia frowns. "Something we could tie the blade to that didn't burn would be a good start."
<Nyaomi> <Jubei> Lady Lyn, you're a master at mystifae arts, right?
<Sera> Lia> "I can't float it down myself, as my psionics get fidgety once too close."
<Aqua> Bel> I could try climbing down
<Aqua> Bel> The fire wouldn't bother me.
<Jackieness> <Moira> "You sure about that?"

<Aqua> Bel> Well, fire hasn't hurt me in awhile
<Aqua> Bel> So im like, 65%
<DeathStar> <Ro'an> That's pure leyline mana, Belit - do you want to test your immunity ahgainst it?
<Nyaomi> <Jubei> Then we could make a temporary staircase closer if myself and Lia provided you with water, no?
<DeathStar> <Lyn> True, I could mystifae walk if I had that
<Aqua> Bel> Well I would tell if it started to get uncomfortable.
<Aqua> Bel> And get out from there.
<Sera> Lia> The immunity would protect against the heat, but not the pure energy of the leyline itself. I can make plenty of water, though it's going to evaporate fast here.
<Aqua> Bel> But regardless, im not going into the leyline, just close to it.
<Jackieness> <Moira> "Either way, I'm staying out here in case the locals get brave and/or stupid."

<Sera> * Lia begins preparing a second torrent so she can get back up. Drawing a circle to enforce the water.
<Nyaomi> 6Jubei looks reluctant, but whistles so Lyn is notified-- and drops the Rune Blade after her
<DeathStar> 6* Pure sweat pouring as she moves down the half mile and leaps as far from the fire mana leyline as she gets near the the bottom crevice, grabbing the Rune blade and lands on dry ground, sizzling and burning in the area
<DeathStar> 6* She moves back to the crevice as she fry cooks, using mystifae techniques to remain calm and cool and sticks the sword tip in from a distance, her hand reddening

<Sera> * Lia sends down more, since creation isn't a hard spell or even very mana consuming.
<Nyaomi> 6Jubei moves to the other side and creates multiple ice mana blades, hurtling them at different intervals of the inner wall

<DeathStar> 6* Lyn pulls it out and begins to leap up quickly back up the water trail
<DeathStar> 6* There's nothing around but a human doll the girl dropped
<DeathStar> 6* Though in the distance they can see ships taking off - people fleeing from the city, as if expecting the volcano to explode now

<DeathStar> 6* And begins to fly away; there's a slight boom from the volcano and lava pours out of it, not enough to destroy anything

<DeathStar> Location: North Sinai (intro to follow)
<DeathStar> 6* Having crossed the desert, the group reaches North Sinai on the other side, which looks a lot like Sinai though less Leruste focused and more Rachael focused with a giant statue of her, facing downward toward South Sinai. The desert city with close together buildings and public bathing fountains has a very Middle Eastern feel as they arrive in their carriage, minus one scurr, and Jean uses the fountain to cool off, splashing her face as kids splash around naked
<DeathStar> 6* Tsuki looks around, dusty and tired and the templars move forward to check in and find lodgings

Gemane stands up ahead, wearing clothing that looks rather exotic on her - a silk top and exotic desert bottoms, with her navel pierced

<DeathStar> 6* Her blonde hair is down to her ankles, done up in various twists and turns and she is talking to some merchants, handing them wrapped up items for other ites
<DeathStar> 6* Bridgette strips and washes with no shame in the fountain, glancing over. Tsuki, playing with Thara's tail and Ama's milk tits, eyes the kitsune

<DeathStar> 6* Gemane turns to face them and jerks, her eyes widening in complete surprise as she eyes them all, jaw dropped. She stares at them all a few moments, then recovers. "What are you all doing here --- of all places?"
<Sera> Truth> "Traveling to Jeanole."

<Sera> Truth> "I'm pretty sure it was destroyed in that fight with Harbinger. We took out a few city blocks in the Anima."
<DeathStar> 6* Gemane moves over to the inn keeper and talks to her softly, gesturing at them. The inn doesn't look particularly fancy, but it seems to be hidden well and it's upkeeped good. After a moment she gets a set of keys and comes back

<kalonZombie> <Leruste> I lived in a poor ass part of town, Truth.
<Sera> Truth> "That's the part we destroyed I think." *she follows Gem*

<DeathStar> 6* She points upward and moves along up the stairs and unlocks the door, showing them nice digs - cushions on the floor with a hidden window to overlook the rich quarters down below. The air inside is cool and there's a small water area to wash in.
<DeathStar> 6* Fruit is on the table to eat and there is wine to drink. Jean grabs the wine and sips it happily, chewing grapes.
<Sera> Truth> "Kaelan's memories."
<DeathStar> 6* While Tsuki flops on the cushions
<AquaKoala> *Butler flops, eatting and sipping the wine "Oh man, this is great"

With tall buildings of various sizes and functions, and tons of homes and a large human population, along with kitsune, elves, bunpers and others, they move along the plaza in front of the giant palace, which is like something out of the Prince of Persia palace, with hanging gardens and waterfalls along it; the plaza in front of it is a giant market place with people trading goods and objects - a lot of it Truth's favorite fruit lately

<Sera> * The Dragon splits into two as it suddenly reforms facing Anima M and leaps at it Kamikaze style, attacking to get into the mouth area.

<DeathStar> 6* And explodes outward, destroying both deragons
<DeathStar> 6* It stands there, recharging
<Sera> * Lia nods and launches a Dispel magic at it while it's busy.
<Jackieness> <Moira> *leaps forward, slashing with Narok at the anima's faceplate*
<DeathStar> 6* The Anima jerks a little, and Ailee damages the leg area, and the face plate area is damaged slightly
<Nyaomi> <Jubei> Angel... Angel..."
<DeathStar> 6* Angel sits up, wincing
<Nyaomi> 6She whimpers, still looking for her

<Nyaomi> 6Jubei crawls toward her
<Sera> * Lia grumbles and readies another, drawing a circle on the floor with her foot.
<Jackieness> <Moira> *then moves into a followup slash to try to damage the faceplate enough to get the anima to shut down*
<Sera> Lia> <Earth Based possibly. Water will hurt it... ironically.>
<Aqua> *Bel stumbles and scrambles to her feet
<DeathStar> 6* The Anima grabs Moira

<DeathStar> 6* And begins to squeeze, and puts Moira over her knee, spanking her, aiming to break her
<Chainy> 6*Saedi tosses more to actually grab at those who are stationary
<Sera> * Lia focuses and sends out a dispel again at it. <Now!>
<DeathStar> 6* Ailee jerks and is snagged by Saedi, as would Lia since she is dispelling
<Aqua> *Bel attempts to twist them in her sword and fling the traps back
<Sera> * Lia leaps to one side, her circle glows and bounces Saedi's hurled weapon back towards her.
<Jackieness> <Moira> *throws Narok away* <Narok, now!>
<Chainy> 6*Saedi hauls Ailee back and uses her to shield

<Jackieness> <Moira> *moves back on to her feet and then switches on Mystifae channeling as she punches at the anima's faceplate*
<DeathStar> 6* Celesia begins to laugh insanely as M takes more and more over with the damage

<DeathStar> 6* Anima M is destroyed, Celesia hitting the ground and rolling with her water orb, bloodied
<Sera> * Lia taps into her other resource, she holds out her hand and uses Goddess TK on Saedi, attempting to seize her entirely.
<Aqua> *Bel tosses Finn towards Celesia
<DeathStar> 6* Celesia touches the orb and forms a water pool around Lia, sucking them in
<Jackieness> <Moira> *moves to pull Celesia up to her feet* "Can you not go insane like your brother?!"
<DeathStar> 6* But then is struck through the heart by Finn
<Aqua> *Finn transforms and attempts to secure her with a punch to the face
<DeathStar> 6* or that. Shouldn't throw demon swords at people
<Sera> * Lia chooses to break her hold by tossing Saedi backwards. She pulls herself from teh water.

<DeathStar> 6* Saedi is hit in the face as Moira lifts her. She brings a hidden blade and slits her own throat suddenly
<Nyaomi> 6Jubei clings to Angel whimpering

<DeathStar> 6* Chanting blood magik
<Sera> Lia> "STOP HER FROM FINISHING THAT SPELL!"

<Aqua> *Finn reels and punches her in the face again

<Sera> * Lia uses what she has left to try and TK grab the orb to herself, she uses it to wash them all with a spray of water.

<DeathStar> 6* The water seems to have no affect, the burning mark on their arms remaining and forming a symbol that constantly burns
<Sera> * Lia frowns and attempts to use Cure Magik on it, with a Dispel.
<Aqua> *Bel grits her teeth
<DeathStar> 6* Nothing
<kalonZombie> 6*Narok forms into a sword
<Sera> * Lia tries to reason if the skin marked can be cut off.
<DeathStar> 6* No. It seems to be a Death Mark
<Sera> Lia> "It's a Death Mark!"

<DeathStar> 6* The elves stand around their leader sadly, staring at the group hatefully for attacking Celesia and lift her body up and move it out
<DeathStar> 6* There is none that Lia knows of. Likely only people like Saedi or Celesia or other blood mages might know, but Saedi seems to have vanished from the scene
