<DeathStar> After a day of groovy love and making it big being farmers for mages, the group is knocked out of good times by Lyn, who uses Mystifae to bring them to their senses. Reeling at what they've been doing, the group takes some time to figure out how to free one of themselves, Fate, from her collar. After some Metal Gear Solid style hiding their actions and allowing the guards to lower their alert, Wyrd uses Fate to break the rest out of their collars. Lyn and Ailee leap into the trees and the others fake lock up their collars again following a plan by Moira to get picked for sex to get taken into the main tree.
<DeathStar> The plan somewhat works, Wyrd, Maka and Moira are selected for sexings. They're taking away and Lia and Bel have to figure out what to do alone. Rejoined by Ailee, they decide to head out using a secret entrance, which Lia remembers being in the tree but not exactly where.
<DeathStar> At this same time, Moira, Maka and Wyrd are given sex juice and told to wait for their males. As they wait, Wyrd finds a secret passage and Moira opens it, the three escaping. They begin to head along the back stairs of the tree, a passage Angel used to get around her servants.
<DeathStar> Lia, Ailee, and Bel disembark with Narok, Finn and Fate as weapons, and head into the streets. They dispatch three mages on patrol and head towards the tree. Lia, unable to recall the secret way in, instead leads them to the ground servant entrance, which Bel is able to open for them. Moving in, they find Selene being tortured by 10 mages. The move in and start to attack the mages, after taking out half the enemy, the remaining summon a dark beast to counter Lia's Chaos Water Dragon. As the two monsters clash, more happens above.
<DeathStar> Hearing the sounds of battle, Moira's group pauses when they also hear voices on their floor. They hear male mages deciding that the NAG must be attacking and deciding to adopt a scorched earth policy. The three move in, Wyrd launching a volley of blades into the mages, slaughtering them. The blood touches a mana seed they were empowering and it begins to mutate into a hungry gruesome monster. Wyrd slashes at it but this just makes it hungry for Wyrd Snacks. Moira finds a black scythe on the nearby desk and tries it on the monster, the monster is absorbed and Moira feels stronger, and creeped out. Recovering also a purple potion, a Death Mark seal and dark magic tomes, the group leaves, Maka trying to get the pretty scythe from Moira.
<DeathStar> Down below, Lia dispels the beast's shields and sends a Golem at it, with her attacks and Bel's,the monster falls and the remamining few mages surrender. They cut Selene down and she aims a death spell at the mages. One of which is only 10 years old. Lia holds her off to question them, and ends up collaring the 10 year old and getting Selene to spare him as she takes the others. The group heads upwards to look for Sel, and they are joined by the others. Lyn also rejoins the group and lets them know she freed the citizens who are now taking back their city. With 5 mages remaining, they climb.
<DeathStar> Above they find two mages with women, and the mages, seeing them, yell out to attack, Lia and Bel take them out before Selene can death spell them. The boy they spared grows angered, but Lia cautions him not to run. Bel's move used the Death Seal, and she gains the man's memories when destroying him. She learns that they merely wanted to start families and have a home, backed by the boy. When they reach the next two, Lia demands they surrender and spares them from Selene. Collaring them as well, they move to the top where they find the last remaining mage.
<DeathStar> He reveals he unchained Sel long before the others even escaped, and Sel has been learning much about male mages from him. Lia starts to see a greater humanity in the male mages and begins to question both the Mason's and the NAG's tactics in dealing with males. The mage escapes using an advanced teleportation spell, and upon seeing this, Selene announces she's going home to handle things on her own. She takes Sel and uses a very similar spell to vanish with her.
<DeathStar> The others return to Mercy, Lia reeling from all that's happened and greatly questioning everything she knows about the Male Mage conflict.
<DeathStar> In the Demon Realm, Kaelan's group is growing tired and beaten down by the intense heat of the desert. They near a Ruins, from the pre-Aschae Tareh days deep underground. They decide to head there to rest, and they find Angel there, waiting for them.

<DeathStar> 6* Reversing time a little, Rachael watches out the palace window as the Templars set up a perimeter around the area of the fighting and the large NAG Tower
<DeathStar> 6* There is smoke and destruction clearly going on from the spell casting in the blocks being affected, but the templars' perimeter seems to have isolated the damage into just the affected area, and so the damage cannot spread. The Enforcers seem to be preparing to go in, since they do not want any male Templars to be affected
<Aqua-> *Butler is with the Enforcers, wearing her freezing armour
<Sera> * Truth watches with a worried frown.
<kalonZombie> <Leruste> I would like to say "could be worse" but unless Angelus like... comes back from the dead or something I can't see how.
<DeathStar> 6* Rachael gears up. "I have magik, a lot of magik; I'm going in."
<Sera> Truth> Truth should help too.
<DeathStar> 6* Aurica rubs her face. As if thinking it's a bad idea. Her baby bump keeps her from going in and she curses Brony
<DeathStar> 6* Jean frowns, wanting to go in but unable to due to her own guard and Lin Erica

<Sera> * Truth nods and moves to join Rachael.
<kalonZombie> 6*Ler moves to join Rachael as well
<DeathStar> 6* As the Enforcers, and Rachael who hurries to join them as they move down the palace steps - the market plaza near the palace gates empty of people due to the crisis, their stands left where they were. Fruit left unattended
<Aqua-> *Butler looks about alertly, her tentacle wand at the ready
<Sera> Truth> *bites her lip* Poor fruit... Left behind.
<DeathStar> 6* Rachael walks along quietly, peering along the barren streets and up to the root tops of the beautiful marble buildings - thinking she spotted a white haired girl on one roof top and on the other a waif halfling, or perhaps elf, ducked down. Rachael marches on and as she enters the area, she looks around
<Sera> * Truth moves along with her.
<DeathStar> 6* Up ahead, past the perimeter of armored men, male mages are casting spells, destroying buildings and causing fires and destroying anything around, not caring about any plan - clearly the most insane ones. They seem to be 'attacking' things that aren't even there, and raving about people out to get them and some are weeping as they attack, frightened. Some are as young as 12.
<DeathStar> 6* The group ahead seems to be heavily packed, around 70 mages
<DeathStar> <Rachael> ... insanity... 6* She murmurs, a strange look on her face as they enter the zone
<Sera> Truth> *whispers* Little ones?
<kalonZombie> 6*Ler follows her quietly, frowning
<DeathStar> 6* The Enforcers move forward and begin to cast spells to bring them down, fireballs raining down to blast the mages apart and send them down on their asses
<DeathStar> 6* And bringing out their daggers to stab the older ones in the back area
<Aqua-> *Butler stays back and starts working on creating a crystal catapault (Sculptur BT1, Holy) and looses it
<Sera> * Truth moves in and uses the flat of her blade to try and KO younger ones.
<DeathStar> 6* Rachael draws her Imperial Bow and fires arrows, aiming at the older males, her eyes quirked funny and unleashes lightning magik down on them
<DeathStar> 6* Butler's capatapuly smashes into a lot of the mages, crushing them and when it shatter with holy damage, has them moaning when they aren't outright killed
<DeathStar> 6* Truth's blows send many down; one young mage of 12 aims at Turth and unleashes a chaos fireball, frire mixerd with darkness
<Aqua-> *Butler loads it again and takes aim carefully
<DeathStar> <Mage> DIE QUEEN!
<DeathStar> 6* He rants, thinking she's a serpent queen
<Sera> * Truth reels and summons a Holy Shield
<Sera> Truth> Truth no Queen!
<DeathStar> 6* Rachael begins to fire again and again, getting faster and more ruthless looking, as she moves into them, her eyes looking shut off as she fires for kill shots
<DeathStar> 6* Truth blocks the fire. Parita lands beside Leruste, blocking a fireball attack with a shield

<Aqua-> *Butler loose again at the largest group she can find

<DeathStar> 6* The mages are smashed and the area seems cleared for now

<DeathStar> 6* The tower up ahead is smoking
<DeathStar> <Parita> You'd do the same for me
<Aqua-> *Butler deforms her catapault and continues on
<DeathStar> 6* Rachael hurries along
<Sera> * Truth uses her Angelic Influence to try and help Rachael stabilize.
<kalonZombie> <Leruste> Gotta go follow the wife. I take it you'll be following?
<Sera> * Truth moves along with her.
<kalonZombie> 6*He starts to run after Rachael
<DeathStar> <Parita> Yes.
<DeathStar> 6* She moves along, as Templars advance and uses magik bracers on living mages. As they get near the tower, they see the NAG and the male mages, 500 females vs. 1500 males, in a war of magik. The area around is super heated and one can feel the corruption in the air from the male insanity
<DeathStar> 6* Any male caster can feel it seeping into his pores, the angel mark protecting him
<Aqua-> *Butler focuses and forms her catapault again, still holy, and fires
<Sera> * Truth peers over the scene and frowns, shocked by how many males are attacking.
<DeathStar> 6* Parita winces and looks out of it, like Rachael, both of them firing their arrows into the male mages ruthlessly. At the top of the stairs, an older woman of 40 is issuing orders and unleashing all the elements somehow, and striking males where she can

<kalonZombie> 6*He starts firing his bow as well
<DeathStar> 6* Butler's holy captapult, smashing a lot of mages and sending them flying with crystal holy shards. Rachael laughs a little at Truth, creepily
<DeathStar> <Rachael> More to kill, daughter
<Aqua-> *Butler loads as fast as she can, staying low
<DeathStar> 6* Rachael focuses on her magik and unleashes all of the elements she has at once at the mages, using wind and earth and fire to rip and burn dozens, even as she bleeds from the nose
<DeathStar> 6* The male mages turn, seeing the pincer attack and 200 march toward them
<DeathStar> 6* The NAGs taking the advantage to slam spells into the others and the Enforcers come around and attack from an other end
<Sera> Truth> *Frowns and pushes her sword into the ground, pillars of Holy blasting out towards the approaching forces.
<DeathStar> 6* The area is littered with remains of buildings on the ground
<kalonZombie> 6*Ler keeps firing his bows, avoiding using his own magik lest the NAG confuse him for a male caster
<DeathStar> 6* Rachael slides behind such a piece in the middle of the road
<Sera> Truth> "Only to protect the innocent people that will be hurt by this..."
<DeathStar> 6* Parita hops on top of a piece of rubble and unleashes fire magik down at them
<Aqua-> *Butler fires at the 200
<DeathStar> 6* Leruste and Butler and the others attack slam into the mages, and they chant, forming a shield barrier and begin to march forward, the barrier looking impervious, yet there's enough mages to keep attacking, even with 170 remaining
<DeathStar> 6* Rachael laughs darkly, as if loving them and Parita and her look at each other and touch hands, focusing and begin to tear the ground apart
<DeathStar> 6* And mages begin to get dumped into it
<Sera> * Truth casts a Blizzard to rain down ice from overhead, her Holy Pillars coming out form the ground below.
<DeathStar> 6* Even as it wrecks their bodies
<Sera> Truth> <Momma... don't lose yourself.>
<DeathStar> 6* The shield broken, Truth's blizzard and Holy pillars strike the mages, damaging more. The mages scrumble up the sides, around 100 now
<Aqua-> *Butler attempts to rend out crystals from below them inside their shield (Cyrstal Porjectile 4)
<DeathStar> 6* All Truth would feel in the angel link is pure insanity, as if Rachael was a male caster
<Aqua-> Butler> <Rachael has contracted the insanity>
<kalonZombie> 6*Ler keeps firing, unfortunately not as good an archer as he is a swordsman, so he has way less tricks
<DeathStar> 6* Butler tears into them and takes out a few more. Parita leaps out. "Someone form me a crystal slide."
<DeathStar> 6* She grins cockily
<Sera> * Truth frowns and looks to Leruste a moment. <We will have to help her when the wave is cleared.>
<Aqua-> *Butler does so, using her elven creation
<DeathStar> 6* Rachael wipes blood from her face and aims down at the moving remains, around 80. Parita lands on the slide and slides down, unleashing fire blasts at the mages; the mages summon with what remain to create a giant flying serpent queen, black, and it flies down, made of magik
<DeathStar> 6* And begins to unleash magik attacks at the group, it's tail swiping at Leruste
<Aqua-> *Butler fires her catapault, staying low
<Sera> * Truth Wind Jumps high and aims down low, forming a second sword and blasting her Holy Smite out at the queen.
<kalonZombie> 6*Ler leaps to the side, then tries to jump on it and run up to the head
<DeathStar> 6* The catapault slams into more mages and they slam into the ground, while Truth hits the queen and it rers, allowing Leruste time to run along it's tail, and when it reaches it's lower mid-body, it soars up high
<DeathStar> 6* The wind speeds hitting against him hard as it goes up high, vertically
<DeathStar> 6* Pushing him down
<kalonZombie> 6*Ler pulls out his swords and stabs them into the queen, trying to hang on
<DeathStar> 6* The 50 remaining mages begin to chant and death spells flyh at Butler and Truth
<DeathStar> 6* Parita flips over her's but it hits her leg and she lands still as death
<Sera> * Truth Wind Bullets herself behind rubble.
<Aqua-> *Butler hides behind her catapault while loading it
<DeathStar> 6* Rachael roars in anger and unleashes an inferno on them - the catapault is hit by the death spell and melts into nothing, but the spell v anishes. The rubble goops into nothing
<DeathStar> 6* The queen roars as Leruste does that and begins to flip and twirl, trying to shake him off, and flies at the tower, trying to ram itr
<Sera> * Truth then rushes out for Parita, grabbing her and moving behind more rubble.
<Aqua-> *Butler claps and sends a wave of fire at the mages (Spark 3)
<DeathStar> 6* Parita groans in pain, her leg looking gray
<kalonZombie> 6*Ler does the stab climb thing that Kratos does, working his way up higher on the queen's body
<Sera> * Truth frowns and begins to work at counteracting the spell with her energy, she taps Parita and shifts the bond she's kept on Kaelan to her.
<DeathStar> 6* Butler sets several mages on fire. At that moment, as four mages near Butler were about to unleash a dead zombie dogbark spell, a dead looking templar breaks their necks
<Sera> Truth> "Stir from your slumber, seize the element in hand and kill god."
<Aqua-> *Butler blinks but nods to hi, turning back and unleashing her tentacles at the mages
<DeathStar> 6* Parita would feel almost as insane as Rachael
<DeathStar> 6* The dead looking templar, dripping wet, slashes down at mages - down to about 20 now
<DeathStar> 6* Leruste meanwhile makes it to the head, but it's about to hit the tower head on
<DeathStar> 6* And crush him
<DeathStar> 6* And the NAG Tower
<Sera> * Truth starts to work on her mind with the bond, enforcing calm and a warrior's focus. "Come. Awaken sleeping warrior, shake off the nightmare, feel no fear, you are with me."
<DeathStar> 6* Which would likely crush the NAGs below
<Aqua-> Butler> <Please try and make it swerve Leruste>
<DeathStar> 6* Parita pants; the leg getting a little better
<Aqua-> *Butler focuses on her tentacles
<DeathStar> 6* The tentacles rape the mages, many of them making noises of surprise and self-loathing
<DeathStar> 6* Surrendering
<kalonZombie> 6*Ler trues to stab it so that it's painful but nonlethal and steer it
<Aqua-> *Butler retracts it and rushes for the tower
<Sera> Truth> "Battle your fear, battle the anger, become one with my element and see me through." *she starts sharing her Knight abilities as she heals her*
<DeathStar> 6* The queen roars and turns away, barely clipping the tower so only some of it falls down, landing on the male mages

<DeathStar> 6* Meanwhile, the main battle is almost over, the NAGs using death spells on the male mages and beating them abck
<DeathStar> 6* Leruste kills it and the queen crashes down roughly, falling end over end, and a it's tooth falls out, as big as a sword. Serpent Fang
<Aqua-> *Butler tries to stay as close as she can to under Leruste

<DeathStar> 6* Though her leg is fixed, Parita seems to be caught in what ever is going on here - yet neither are males, right? You've checked their cooches
<Aqua-> Butler> Uhhh, hey rachael
<DeathStar> 6* Abigale, the leader of the NAG, moves over, carrying a presence with her as the other NAG death spell the mages
<DeathStar> <Abigale> Mage Butler - thank you for your timely presence
<Sera> * Truth keeps working, using her sword bond to try and help stabilize her mind.
<DeathStar> 6* Parita seems to be doing alright with Truth there, keeping the insanity at bay

<DeathStar> 6* She takes Butler aside. "I do not know what plagues your elven comrades, but I have seen the looks in their eyes before. The one is clearly insane, and the other is nearly so. I would offer my healer mages if tyou wish
<DeathStar> 6* Rachael stares at Abigale whispers, peering her way and looks twitchy, turning to go back to the palace
<Aqua-> Butler> Oh please yes
<Sera> Truth> "Some were but children... who could not have the experience and knowledge needed to use the magik they weilded."
<Aqua-> Butler> I just didn't want them to be put down.
<DeathStar> <Abigale> WE do not put down females.

<Aqua-> Butler> I just assumed you would be fighting the insanity

<Sera> * Truth peers down at Parita. <What do you want me to do? Taking you to the palace might be problematic. Leaving you alone will be too.>
<DeathStar> <Abigale> Though I do vaguely recall something about halflings and insanity. I should go to my books
<DeathStar> <Abigale> If yhou can bring them to my tower, please do so

<Aqua-> *Butler nods "Halflings used to regularly go insane"
<Sera> * Truth peers down at Parita, picking her up as she stands.

<DeathStar> <Abigale> Yes. I remember now - until a cure awas passed to the new generation
<Sera> Truth> "If you have records on the cure, it would be of help."
<AquaKoala> Butler> We were unaware there was one.

<AquaKoala> Butler> Well that is... unfortunate
<DeathStar> <Abigale> I she had a child, I suggest it be innoculated quickly

<Sera> Truth> <We may need Jean's intervention. And the innoculation for little Nephilim.>

<Sera> * Truth nods. She then blinks at that tension and peers around.
<DeathStar> 6* The templars meanwhile are taking Simon away to be properly seen to
<DeathStar> 6* Jean meets Leruste and Rachael at the palace and hugs them

<AquaKoala> *Butler moves to the templars "Could I thank him? He saved my life."
<DeathStar> <Rachael> We were fine

<DeathStar> 6* They step aside, Simon on a funeral stretcher to take him to his final resting place - or something else.
<Sera> * Truth begins to head back, her armor fading into mist, back only in her loose clothing.
<DeathStar> 6* The templars are all pondering how Simon got this far - dead. PEering at each other

<DeathStar> 6* Rachael heads in and picks up Neph. "Hey you. You're a perfect little girl and nothing is wrong with you, isn't that right? My perfect little girl."

<DeathStar> Location: Mercy (intro to follow)
<DeathStar> 6* With Zegretta pondering if her politics are bad, and Fi'anna doing the fox yip at people who tell her it is so, the group has returned and spent time recovering. The air ship has been repaired a little and so far it seems all the Mason cities in Di'Neer are alright. With the Anora Mason sites already in disarray due to the civil war there, they have no idea their state, or if the NAG sites have held their own, and the other sites aren't reporting in, due to the damage the Tower took in it's attack, leaving all the sites a mystery.l
<DeathStar> 6* Which just leaves the group time to ponder what they will do now.

<DeathStar> <Zun> Unfortunately we have no help to spare right now. Zuzu is too ill to fight and I am needed here to coordinate things - Ama and Hoko are busy with the army and I think Kagu is with them. I could be wrong - plus Ama wants him close
<DeathStar> <Zun> Mugi was ordered not to go out, but technically she is her own woman since she married Zuzu. So if she wants to go help you, it is her call

<Sera> Lia> "We're planning to swing back to Gelus and help there, then move on Ama'dorei or the Empire to help them. Ama'dorei likely needing more help than the Empire."

<DeathStar> 6* After walking on foot 2 days, they arrive near Seacrest. Destroyed badly and being built up over many many weeks, the port city has been trying to be made back into a port city, since it's the only true port city and thus with it gone it would cripple Anora (Cont)
<DeathStar> 6* With only the rich noble area destroyed really, and the peasant area saved - and the ports, work has been spent on repairing the lost NAG Tower, and the noble distract. As they arrive, though, they see that the city has a magik barrier around it and hanging on crosses all around it are naked females - not the entire NAG populace most likely here, but just ones that likely refused to quit fighitntg. They seem to be ones 20 and older, no children at least
<DeathStar> 6* And most look near dead, since the attacks began back on the 9th and they have been hanging there until the 16th
