<Seraphna> With the issues in Gemet dying down, surprise comes to those in Gemet's court when Selene, Sel, Lia, and Yuel appears out of thin air. They explain that they are after the Heart of Magic and ask to see Tsuki. Ama hears them as an audience and they explain the mounting issues and the discoveries of the various groups, as the rest of Lia's team begins to set down in the airship. The group
<Seraphna> united, they must deal with Yeger set loose in a room full of boobs. Selene presents the NAG proposal for the others to help and they agree to follow NAG leadership while on the hunt for Kapister.
<Seraphna> With Yeger present, the group talks to Lenneth about instating a new God of Death, she explains that it is very dangerous for Narok and then leaves to spend time with her daughter. Lia attempts to sway her on considering the role herself, but it's left in the air for the moment. An explosion sounds out from the direction of Zuzu's palace and the groups in Gemet rush out to see what's
<Seraphna> happened. When they arrive, they find destruction, the place damaged and infested with Dark Magic. The damage done and the mages already gone, Tsukiyomi their captive. After freeing Mugi, Zuzu and Thara, the group realizes that while they took Tsuki, the mages made a fatal error, they left Thara behind. They return to the palace with Thara and a disc left for Thara by Tsuki.
<Seraphna> In Hell, 17 days have passed and food runs short, the group is becoming desperate and clinging to hope that someone will come for them. Kaelan pushes the team to relax and rations the food, trying to rally them to stay hopeful.
<Seraphna> Back in Ama's palace, Lenneth takes up the mantle of Yeger, freeing Finn from Yeger's control as he retreats back into Finn. Lenneth, the new God of Death, proposes trading her power with Narok from time to time, allowing them to take shifts, freeing the God of Death from being a position that someone would want to run away from due to total isolation like Yeger faced. She then opens
<Seraphna> a portal to Hell and the group going after Kapister steps inside. Wyrd, Lia, Maka, Fate, Thara, Narok, Belit, Butler, Aso Erevis, Ama, Selene, Sel, and Yuel head through.
<Seraphna> In Hell, the group witnesses the others stepping in to join them, Lenneth peering over in surprise at others beating her to her new domain. The Demon Realm group then sends Mimi back through to Ama's palace for help. There is a moment where friends exchange good luck statements and hugs, before Lenneth sends the Demon Realm team back to the Demon Realm. Then, using the sword as a guiding
<Seraphna> rod, and the Disc unlocking to give Thara armor to unlock her potential, Lenneth is able to locate Tsuki in the Heart of Mana. An ocean of mana energy, the location she's in guarded by what seems to be a pocket ward formed by the remains of Lorelei and Aschae. This is a troubling note as the future Jean has Lorelei's body.
<Seraphna> Using Tsuki's location as a waypoint, Lenneth is able to make a new warp for the group to head into the Heart of Mana to face Kapister.
<Seraphna> Inside the Matrix, the Demon Realm group emerges to find demon bodies all over. The group soon puts together that Lin must have reacted to the apparent death of Jubei by going berserk. They follow the corpses up the tower till it suddenly stops. Here they hear Malthus planning to fire the Matrix at Jeanole, and at the same time, to execute a prisoner. The team splits up, Jubei, Rica,
<Seraphna> James, Sal, Seraphim and Angel head after the prisoner and Malthus while the rest move for the Matrix core itself.
<Seraphna> The group heading up to Malthus encounters some female vampires, Jubei turns the surviving of the two into a thrall and gets information on the hall above. The group chooses to race the vampires there instead of fighting, and nearly get through unscathed until Angel trips. Jubei tries to drag the vamp on her but Rica and James relieve her of the weight by killing him. Rushing into the
<Seraphna> ruling chamber, they find Lin in the Rose Knight's armor above them. As Jubei goes to retrieve her, the others face vampires rushing at them. Rica goes assassin and aims for Malthus directly, piercing him with arrows, he reacts by attempting to fire the Matrix.
<Seraphna> Down below, the others flood into the Core and Dues takes the Rune Blade as she leaps into the heart of it to take it down. The others keep the vampire guards busy, fighting off impossible numbers. Cersei falls, and the others have to be saved by the stronger members of the group as they're flooded with vampires. Deus strikes the core and seems to be taken by the subsequent explosion.
<Seraphna> The Vampires fall back as above, the core being damaged during the firing sequence shakes the tower and tilts the room. The group beats down Malthus and he falls. The tower rights itself and the Cadre step out to look down on Malthus, just before Seraphim and Rica finish him off.
<Seraphna> Deus comes out of the blast soaking in the Matrix energy itself, she finishes off resistance and the vampires remaining run off, freed from Malthus' control. Deus makes her claim as Queen of the Demon Realm and hands the Rune Blade back to her future wife, Jubei. They day won, Deus heads off to confirm her position with the Cadre, whatever they may think to the contrary. The group is
<Seraphna> able to rest, and they find Cersei still alive after her fall, healing her to full.
<Seraphna> In Jeanole, Jean stares at the few blocks that were hit by the Matrix before the group could take it down fully. Nowhere near the devastation that could have been, but the scene seems to confirm one of Jean's dreams about the future. She stands convinced that soon the false Jean will rise, and the others look on worriedly. However, with what the Mage group is learning, is the False Jean
<Seraphna> really the one from the future, or is something else going on?

<DeathStar> 6* Located in Lenneth's chamber with the viewing water disc, the Get Kapister and Tsuki Retrival team has been preparing. With Anima L present, taken from Chain, before they left, and other things, the group is almost ready to use Thara to go into the Heart of the Leylines and Mana, to deal with the Heart of Magik. But what will be the result and how will Kapister and the group get rid of the taint forever?

<DeathStar> 6* While Aso Erevis sticks to Ama quietly, his red glowing eyes looking over the rock walls and throne seat, which has been made to look more heroic and seated - Lenneth has also made the area more child friendly - adding play things for Chae and greenery, a hotspring and other fun things to lighten the mood
<kalonZombee> 6*Thara practices in her new armor, getting a feel for the weight and balance of her weapons and armor

<DeathStar> <Lenneth> It is time - this will be a one way trip. I cannot retrieve you from the heart of mana until you save Tsukiyomi, or until you do something to breach the barrier

<DeathStar> <Selene> We cannot begin to imagine that breaching will do though

<DeathStar> 6* The area distorts and they begin to warp, only it feels sickly to all of them, like they are going to a place they should not, passing through layers of mana that should be vaporizing them. The sword glows brightly, shaking, and Thara would feel lightheaded as they transparently travel through Tareh's crust and through the mana

<Seraphna> * Lia tries to brace herself, petting Melody comfortingly, giving Maka some of her resolve.

<DeathStar> * Thery are still in a bubble of energy, so stepping forward just lets them move inside it

<DeathStar> 6* The feeling of wooziness and sickliness getting worse, since normally it would destroy them as they sink lower
<Seraphna> Lia> "Urgh... we're... gonna need to recover quick... when we arrive..."

<DeathStar> 6* Until finally, down below their feet, they see the corpses, the bubble heading for it and they pass through it and land on the ground and go solid again, the inukami cracking
<kalonZombee> 6*Narok powers through it... that or he hides it very well. Probably the latter.
<Aqua> *Butler looks around quietly
<DeathStar> 6* Before them is a huge chamber, beautiful mana crystals growing out of the leathery corpses they are standing on; the roof above them is at least 5 square miles high
<Seraphna> * Lia tries to find the oneness quickly to counter the feelings and then gives that center to her bonded ones.
<Jackieness> <Moira> *lets out a heavy breath, hand reaching for one of her swords as she looks around*
<Aqua> Butler> Much bigger than I assumed...
<DeathStar> 6* And it seems to go on for miles as far as they eye can see, the landscape prestine - rolling hills untouched and beautiful, flowering blooming at the maximum life and mana droplets on them
<DeathStar> 6* Sel looks dizzy; the effects begin to wear off
<DeathStar> 6* Aso Erevis shakes his head, peering about as he looks ahead
<Jackieness> <Moira> "I don't remember the pair of them being of such stature..."
<Seraphna> Lia> "Some kinda hidden nice place...?"
<DeathStar> <Selene> they will likely be in the center of it

<DeathStar> 6* She begins to march along the grass. Ama can feel Tsuki, weakly, 2 and a half miles ahead
<Jackieness> <Moira> "Maybe this is what they intended Tareh to become..."

<Seraphna> * Lia begins to walk. "I can try and form L, give us a ride, but then she might not be ready for combat."

<DeathStar> 6* The ceiling has beautiful crystal formations that sparkle like the sky and the air here is more prestine and pure than anything on Tareh

<Jackieness> <Moira> "So what does a place like this have to do with the taint?"
<DeathStar> 6* Aso Erevis frowns, as if he feels uneasy being here, his demonic skin paler
<Seraphna> Lia> Seems comforting to me for some reason. Like we're not in a cave deep inside Tareh."
<DeathStar> <Selene> Perhaps this is the only way to fix it, like Kapister claims

<Seraphna> Lia> "This place feels... I don't know... clean? It's like the taint can't be here."

<Chain> 6*Ama keeps focused on her sister, moving for her slowly
<DeathStar> <Yuel> IF that's the case, there will be a breach sooner or later.
<DeathStar> 6* After half a mile, Yuel is proven right - on the Lorelei corpse area, they come across on the ground a devastating gash, but it doesn't see cut, but like it's been eroded

<DeathStar> 6* A blackness has oozed up and the leylines here are not shiny and the air like Tareh's

<Seraphna> Lia> "It's like an infection eating its way in..."
<Jackieness> <Moira> "So there are more cracks like this? Where is it coming from then?"
<DeathStar> 6* It's pure corruption, and looks to be unlike any type of darkness Ama knows - it's not dark mana, or the Umbal corruption
<Chain> <Ama> if we follow the cracks we'll find the sourse most likely
<DeathStar> <Yuel> It must have been introduced from outside... so it's in the leyline mana
<Aqua> *Butler eyes it it closely
<DeathStar> <Selene> If you are right, sister, then someone on the surface poisoned our leylines
<Aqua> Butler> It makes sense, beforr now no one came here.
<Aqua> Butler> It would have to be on the surface.
<Seraphna> Lia> "We blamed the demon realm, but that was a mere assumption. Maybe... the group behind all of this also was behind the corruption itself?"

<Aqua> *Bel lashes at him with her whip
<DeathStar> 6* He begins to tighten the magik, when hes hit with the whip and drops her

<DeathStar> 6* The kid eyes t he 20 year old dead and gapes in horror, peering at the group like they are monsters

<Jackieness> <Moira> "Well, it seems they have this well-in-hand, albeit with casualties."
<Seraphna> * Lia frowns and moves over to the kid. "Don't move, alright?"

<DeathStar> 6* The Ancient Man frowns. "I fear not death."
<Aqua> Bel> You fear pain.
<Chain> <Ama> we cannot waste to much time on him, my sister needs us

<Aqua> *Butler moves over and eyes the wound
<DeathStar> 6* Yuel and Selene check the area out for other mages, seeihng none
<Jackieness> <Moira> "Not that death has meaning now that there is a death god again."
<Seraphna> * Lia makes sure the 30 year old isn't dying, she looks at the kid. "Please. Don't be rash. I'd rather as few of you die as possible before the corruption is cleansed."
<DeathStar> 6* The Ancient One eyes Thara a moment, as if debating something, then casts magik on himself, attempting to kill himself

<Aqua> *Bel attempts to stop him
<Nyaomi> 6Wyrd uses her magik to form a slow zone around the ancient as he does

<DeathStar> 6* Due to that, Bel is able to stop him, then he loses his hand, the ancient one's hand splurting blood, since I assume that was slices

<DeathStar> 6* He cries out in pain, falling over and shuddering, and being old looks ouit of it now, caterize or not

It seems Deus is a demon of tastes and lust and green when it comes to beautiful things. Her throne room that she meets with people is on the top and has guards, but her hidden throne room has to be kehyed in with hands prints since her bedroom is beyond it, with a beautiful balcony - though many of the bedrooms have them, and a luxurious bed and hottub/spring
