<Seraphna> With no way the reach the ships, the group is resolved to wait and see what happens. They discuss possibilities, wild plans, but ultimately agree they're outmatched on this particular problem. As they decide to wait out the evening, the group seperates off to spend what could be their last night with their loved ones.

<Seraphna> The next morning, the group steps out to the palace steps as three ships enter the atmosphere. Two smaller ones heading for Gemet and the Demon Realm, the largest ship setting down in the desert outside the city. They teleport in Illium troopers all over the city and a company comes to meet those on the steps. Scanning them, they ask who the leader is and the Elder Jean steps up. They
<Seraphna> are surprised when the three present gods don't speak up and take Elder Jean away, with Elder Umi and Jubei when she speaks up.
<Seraphna> The others are wary as the soldiers file in and begin to take stock of everything about them. Gemane makes it plain that the only thing they can really do is make themselves known before Tareh becomes an Illium Police State.
<Seraphna> In Gemet, troopers begin to flood the city and Zuzu sends Mugi to warn those at the palace before stepping out with Zun to meet them. Mugi begins to give off her warning with just enough time to allow Kagu to leave and fly off while the palace itself is shrunken down and taken away.
<Seraphna> Elder Jean, Umi and Jubi return to Jeanole seeming slightly off, and the others begin to push to do something. They eventually agree on at least checking on the devices and heading into the palace, Angel lets them into a secret room where they've moved the device. Knocking Jubei out when they realize the brainwashing definately happened, the group tries to discuss their options and
<Seraphna> Kagu warns Ama of what's happened at home. They use the device to peek in on the Gemet Palace which has been returned, but with a fake Hoko.
<Seraphna> Before they can make any real plans, Elder Jean and Illium shock troopers finally find them. However, Ama speaks up an announces who she is, and when the others make themselves known as well, the Illium are left with a moment to hesitate. They move to bring the gods up to the ships, however, the others step up as their retainers and the group as a whole is teleported up to the main
<Seraphna> Illium ship.
<Seraphna> Here, they are brought to the Illium Ship's equivalent of 1-B, where Akycha, a decendant of Erevis and Ama, sits waiting for them. After questioning them for a while, they learn that the Leader of the Illium Empire has been in stasis for a long time, to prolong her life until such a time as she completes her goals. Kagu and Jubei are sent off to meet up with Mizu and Deus respectively.
<Seraphna> Jubei meets many of the other young godlings, including Bast. The others follow Akycha up to the Leader's room.
<Seraphna> Here they find a massive stasis device connected into the ship with wires and cables. Who they find inside is Iko, aged and old, having spent many lifetimes worth of years attempting to come home to her mothers. And here, finally, she finds Erevis and Ama, and they are able to hold her one last time as she passes away from weariness and old age. She is able to, for the last moments
<Seraphna> in her life, imagine life with the last of her family once more, and she dies with a smile on her face. Unbeknwost to the rest, Lenneth takes the soul of Iko and readies it for a new life, as Ama's next child to be reborn.
<Seraphna> Akycha, back in the other room, agrees to remove the soldiers while she considers what to do with their planet. The others having asked to let them live their lives in peace to their own devices. Akycha, now the Empress succeeding Iko, warns them that there are consequences to choosing life without being an Imperial Protectorate, however, giving them the day to think over it, sends
<Seraphna> them all back home through a command to the Illium ship's system, TELAKO.
<Seraphna> Returns to the Empire, the group is able to take a breath as the Illiums restore their device and begin to file out. The ships remain, leaving the citizens nervous, but no further moves are made. People take the moment to relax, and spend once again, what might be the last day of Tareh together. Selene moves the NAG Mages out of Jeanole for a small country they've been given taken
<Seraphna> out of the Blantress territory, Butler and Lia both choosing not to go, at least, right away. In Gemet, the gods are joined by several of the new godlings from above, and a sort of wild family reunion occurs. Ama and Erevis discuss their next child, they will have this one together and give her a happy life.
<Seraphna> In the Demon Realm, Deus still reels in indignation at her treatment. Threatened by the superior force, she doesn't trust that they will leave Tareh in peace at all unlike the others, and send Jubei back to the others with Angel. She declares that if she sees them a threat, she will know, and she will act.

<DeathStar> 6* The next day has come and Elder Jean has set up the room with the Sanctuary devices for people to gather around before Akycha will summon them, or come to them - the method is unknown to them yet. The room is no doubt crowded with various people; Erevis in her female form sits on a chair and Tsuki floats off to one side. Cersei sits in a chair, meditative almost and Yuel and Mimi eye each other carefully. Rachael holds the two babes, musing, while Zegretta and Angel work on the Sanctuary device with Butler.

<DeathStar> 6* Gemane casually meditates near Seraphim, and Parita flips a coin, watching Libel roll about in her wolf pup form, chubby from eating all day

<Seraphna> * Lia helps them while Kaelan sits nearby. Truth sits, with a big notebook about fruit. Rica sits near Rachael, peering at Ben who snoozes.

<Jackieness> <Asha> *shuffles her tarot cards over and over as if fidgeting*
<DeathStar> <E. Jean> Due to the nature of what is going on, I decided to meet early so that Angel could propose what she and Zegretta have been doing
<DeathStar> 6* Angel nods and brings up the Sanctuary device, and it zooms in on the parked ship outside the city in the desert.

<DeathStar> <Angel> As you can see, we have been tinkering with the nature of the scanner and there is a large group of lifeforms gathered in one area, kind of like we are here. This began about 30 minutes ago. 6* She points at one section of the ship. "And with Bast and her two siblings having been recalled this morning, we think they are having their final meeting about what to do about us. With Sanctuary's unique devices, I think I can listen in on what's being said. It took a lot of adjusting, but I can pierce their shielding and get into the room."

<DeathStar> <Zegretta> We think we can do it undetected, but there's always risks. <E. Jean> And there is always a chance if they learn, we could earn bad will. The up side is we can learn ahead of time what Akycha is planning to do as the new leader after Iko

<Seraphna> Kaelan> "If we can do this, how do we know they aren't already listening in on us?"
<DeathStar> <Angel> This room is shielded, and a light should go off if they try, but you're right, they might

<DeathStar> <Angel> I have to vote the way *she glances at Jubei* Deus would want as a leader, and I say we do it. However, my personal vote would be not to do it. So there you go

<Seraphna> Kaelan> "I'm not sure I like it. Even knowing ahead of time, what they decide is what they decide, and it might just push them the wrong way if we're caught spying on them."

<Chainy> <Ama> Our Iko trusted them whole heartedly, they were kind to her and her wishes. I am sure if they had wanted to they could have ended her on their own but they kept her alive long enough to find us...

<Seraphna> Lia> What we should be focusing on is deciding what we want to do assuming they're going to stay as friends. Do we want them intervening? Protecting us? Helping us grow? We were given the day to think as much as she took the day to think it over as well.
<DeathStar> <E. Jean> Well, then we await the appointed hour and see what they will do. We have been studying with Sanctuary and frankly I do not see a way we can beat them. Even with Kagu, Tsuki, and Ama

<DeathStar> <Rachael> It seemed before the Iko bit they planned to take over the planet as Gartareh did, perhaps nicer and not as gods, but still
<Chainy> <Ama> then we should try and be civil and ask for a different arrangment
<Jackieness> <Moira> "Compromise then? Assuming they are the patient sort..."

<DeathStar> 6* Cersei peers at Jean. "We have only one threat left, perhaps. Then we can work on our own problems. Besides, I like my feet on the ground, and not in space. If we had problems with magik and people abusing that, what would they do in space?"
<Jackieness> <Moira> "I think Tareh needs time to grow on its own. Once we can reach the stars on our own power, then it should be a consideration."
<Aqua> Butler> As much as I would love new technology, we should be able to do it on our own
<Nyaomi> <Jubei> I wouldn't put it quite in the same sharp words, Lady Enthar.
<Seraphna> Kaelan> "Our home is ours. I would love to be able to trade thoughts with them, even be an independant ally... but ruling us would never work. There's too many people and we don't even speak for every nation."
<Nyaomi> <Jubei> But I agree. I wish to negotiate with our own people about our own future. I'm intent on improving our world and our way of life-- not feeding off someone else's
