<DeathStar> 6* After getting the digging licenses and moving back through town, with the angel allowing Dahok to remain in control, they begin to head for the location of the ruins on the map; as they pass the last few stores on the particular street, Thomas peers at them, seeing they are open still, then speaks. "We might wish to buy some items; in the event something does happen."
<Chad`Winters> 6Dahok peers up, a hand under one cloak. 1"Any idea's on what you'll all need?"
<Kaelan> "I was going to pick up some armor, maybe a shield."
<DeathStar> 6* Mercy pauses, with her hands together. She considers. "I should probably get out supplies from the inn and move them outside of town, if you do think something bad will happen, Sir Thomas."
<Kit> <Zeal> Not a bad surmise..
<Chad`Winters> 6Dahok slowly pulls the hand out from under the cloak as he looks at Mercy. 1"Probably wouldn't be a bad idea, 'cept your Seth's master and he can't get into the ruins without you.
<DeathStar> <Thomas> I doubt that the licenses will matter here, will they, if Harbinger is in the ruins, the guards will not let us in
<DeathStar> <Thomas> I was thinking more to the future
<Kaelan> * Seth rubs the back of his head. "I could stick with her and meet up with you all."
<Chad`Winters> <Dahok> Depends if he walked right inside. 6He shrugs
<Chad`Winters> <Dahok> Either way, supplies would be smart.
<DeathStar> 6* The ground trembles a bit.
* Kaelan eyes the stores for a weapon and armor shop.
<Kaelan> "...We should hurry though."
<Chad`Winters> 6Dahok peers down, then points at Kaelan. He slowly shifts towards Zeal non-chalantly.
<DeathStar> 6* The stores appear to carry just about everything from clothing and items that cost "Gold" to actual items that cost gold.
<DeathStar> <Mercy> Then I will go to the end. 6* Soma sticks his head out of Zeal's breasts. "Should I take Soma?"
<Chad`Winters> 6Dahok casually reaches into Zeal's breats to pull out Soma, taking his time a bit.
<Kaelan> "What's the pointing for?"
<DeathStar> *inn
<Kit> <Zeal> Um... if you do not mi--" 6She jerks, then eyes 'Dahok' murderously.
<DeathStar> 6* Soma mewls and purrs for "Jean".
<Chad`Winters> 6Dahok smiles at her with Jean's beautiful smile.
<Kit> <Zeal> Looks does not comprise the soul." 6She says flatly.
<DeathStar> 6* Mercy smiles, taking Soma and putting him in Dahok's breasts, then wiggles him into place. Then she reaches in to grope and pull him back out, eyeing Dahok blankly the entire time
* Kaelan sighs and heads for a weapons and armor shop. "Zeal? Did you want to get armor too?"
<Chad`Winters> 6Dahok squeels at that, shuddering a bit from the feeling. His hand shivering between Zeal's boobs
<DeathStar> 6* Mercy then carries Soma off, petting him and telling him he's a good boy.
<Kit> 6Zeal slaps Dahok, then looks to Kaelan. 1"I thought you were going to..."
<Kaelan> * Seth moves off with Mercy.
<Chad`Winters> 6Dahok peers at Mercy as she walks off, his hand still in the cookie jar...until he's slapped
<Kaelan> "I am... did you want to come?"
<Kit> <Zeal> Yes, please." 6She says annoyedly. Azhren rubs his head and wanders after Mercy.
<Chad`Winters> <Dahok> Y-You'd actually slap Jean?!
<DeathStar> <Mercy> You may stay with the others, Sir Seth; Sir Azhren will protect me at the inn
<Kit> <Nephilim> ..." 6She peers at Dahok with a curious look-- then begins groping 'him.'
<Kaelan> * Seth nods and heads back to the others. "Alright then."
<Kit> <Zeal> I did not slap lady Al'ryl. I slapped you.
<Chad`Winters> 6Dahok squeels at that, his face going red. He hrmpfs and gropes Neph back.
<Kaelan> * Seth heads to the armor shop, expecting Zeal to follow.
<Chad`Winters> <Dahok> But you slapped Jean's face. Not mine.
<Kit> 6Nephilim just giggles jovially and keeps at it.
<DeathStar> <Thomas> Even if it is ... Sir Dahok, we have to remember that Jean's body is fragile right now
<Kaelan> * Kaelan does that.
<DeathStar> 6* Thomas peers at the pale look and veins that are faintly visible; not to mention the pain Dahok feels at every moment
<Chad`Winters> 6Dahok puffs his cheeks and he pinches Neph's nipples
<Kaelan> Seth> "Oi... if we didn't need her for whatever it is we found down there she'd be much better off in a bed."
<DeathStar> 6* Thomas hurries after Kaelan to avoid watching the 'fight' taking place.
<DeathStar> 6* The store indeed has various types of armor from wood, to metal, chain, light, bikini armor, and various types of weapons. They also have item stat booster items.
* Kaelan looks for some light armor that won't impede her too much, a shield, and then curiously examines these stat boosting items.
<Kit> 6Nephilim reels and then pinches back, making a face.
<Chad`Winters> 6Dahok stomps his foot and grabs his own boob, rubbing it. 1"Holy hell that hurts."
<DeathStar> 6* What type of shield? Wood, metal?
<Kaelan> * Metal
<DeathStar> 6* The weakest metal shield costs 200 gold. The strongest cost 700.
<Chad`Winters> 6Dahok sniffles a bit as he moves off to the weapons shop quickly.
* Kaelan sticks with armor for now!
<Kit> <Zeal> This shop is... very expensive.
<Chad`Winters> 6Dahok peers in the weapon shop, for a staff
<DeathStar> 6* The wooden/metal armor, the weakest kind, costs 200 gold. The chain mail armor costs 350. The bikini armor costs 100 gold. The full armor set costs 1000. Middle-ranged metal armor costs 500.
<DeathStar> 6* As far as stat items go, a point stat increase costs 60 gold, a point ability increase costs 60, and a level up token costs 300.
<Kaelan> "Mmm... I'll stick with the original plan of armor for the moment." *she blushes as she glances at the bikini armor* "Th-This barely seems to hide anything."
<DeathStar> 6* As far as staffs go, a wooden staff costs about 150 and a metal staff costs 300.
<Chad`Winters> 6Dahok slips out of the weapons shop and moves into the armor shop and pokes her head in cutely. 1"Dahok need money for weapon."
<DeathStar> 6* Thomas peers at Dahok, blinking
<Kit> 6Zeal turns away, conveniently not hearing him, examining bikini armor.
<Chad`Winters> <Dahok> Can't defend myself down there without something to hit things with.
<DeathStar> <Thomas> I think your fishing rod is at the inn, Sir Dahok
<Chad`Winters> 6Dahok stares at him blankly
* Kaelan looks at Zeal slowly. "You're not considering it, are you?"
<Kit> <Zeal> Huh?
<DeathStar> <Thomas> Wasn't that your weapon? I might have saw a wooden sword as well. Rachael's weapons may be there, if she didn't take them with her
<Kaelan> "The bikini armor."
<Chad`Winters> <Dahok> A fishing rod's not a weapon!
<DeathStar> 6* The store owner walks up
<Chad`Winters> <Dahok> Well in the sense of a weapon being a weapon.
<Kit> <Zeal> I-- I was just admiring it. I have never seen such a design before..
<DeathStar> <Owner> That bikini armor is made with the finest ores - straight from this very island
<DeathStar> <Owner> You will find no armor stronger. It's why it's made so slimly.
<Kit> <Zeal> H-How does it protect someone?
<DeathStar> <Owner> The gauntlets that go with it to protect part of the arms only costs 100 more, as well
<DeathStar> <Owner> And the leggings another 100
<DeathStar> 6* The owner takes a sword and swings it at the bikini armor; the sword leaves no mark. "See?"
<Chad`Winters> 6Dahok huffs then looks over at Seth cutely. 1"Jean need Seth to get wooden sword and Rachael's sharp weapon. And some more clothing.
<Kaelan> "Mmm... I could only afford two parts..."
<Kit> <Zeal> But the probability of hitting the body instead of the miniscule surface area of the armor is...
<Kaelan> * Seth nods, "Ummm, alright." *he heads back to the inn to gather stuff, always ready to please a lady*
<Kit> 6Nephilim lurks about the store admiring things herself.
<DeathStar> <Owner> If you want a full fledged armor, made with the same material, would cost 2000 gold.
<Chad`Winters> 6Dahok waits for him to take off. 1"Too easy."
* Kaelan rubs the back of her head. "I suppose if I mixed it with the other clothes I have it could at least be decent..."
<Kit> 6Nephilim gazes around the owner, blinking at the material and looking to Zeal, then back to it, then slinks off slowly, eyeing the keeper.
<Kit> <Zeal> You are considering it now, Kael?
<DeathStar> 6* The owner keeps an eye on Nephilim
<Kaelan> "If anything I want a closer look at that alloy... maybe I can build off it..."
<Chad`Winters> 6Dahok hops over to Zeal, putting an arm around her. 1"Zeal look good in that."
<Kaelan> "Oh, sir, do you have any smithing tools as well for maintenance?"
<DeathStar> 6* The owner gestures at some; a pack for 3 uses costs 150 gold.
<DeathStar> 6* The ground rumbles more, and harder. The owner frowns a bit, but then looks at them, all smiles.
* Kaelan gapes, realizing prices seem to be about 5 times more then she remembers.
<DeathStar> <Thomas> We should hurry.
<Chad`Winters> 6Dahok leans on Zeal. 1"My Knight should look her best!"
<Kaelan> "A-Alright, I'll take the armguards and that... armor..." *she points at it*
<Kit> <Zeal> ...Stop that.
<Kit> 6Nephilim smiles charmingly at the keeper.
<Chad`Winters> <Dahok> No time to think. You should buy it while we can. 6He hugs her and let's go then moves to leave the store.
<DeathStar> 6* The owner nods happily and whistles; an assistant grabs the armor and puts up a new set, then moves with the armguards and armor to the counter. The owner moves over to greedily await the gold
* Kaelan forks over thet 200, then ducks away to slip the armor over her clothes.
<DeathStar> 6* The bikini armor doesn't seem to fit over clothes.
<Kit> <Zeal> I hope it serves you well, Kael. I shall have to await your own crafting.
<DeathStar> 6* As if magical
* Kaelan gulps, coming out with the bikini on and pulling her cloak over it. "I-I hope so too."
<DeathStar> 6* Thomas peers out to keep an eye out for Seth
<Chad`Winters> 6Dahok squats outside and drags his finger along the ground as he waits.
<DeathStar> 6* The owner peers at Zeal. "Can I interest you in the same?"
<Kit> 6Nephilim pouts at no opportunities.
<Kit> <Zeal> No thank you. I cannot afford such luxury.
<DeathStar> 6* The owner looks sad. "Can I interest you in anything else?"
<Kit> <Zeal> Sadly unless you have clearances, I will have to visit another time.
<DeathStar> 6* Thomas bows politely, then moves out of the shop. The owner looks sad.
<Chad`Winters> <Dahok> We're gonna have to move quickly, once we're inside Thomas. 6He looks at the ground still
* Kaelan fixes the bracers and bikni a little, moving out of the shop with a wave. "Th-Thanks mister!"
<Kit> 6Zeal follows Thomas out.
<DeathStar> <Thomas> Yes. 6* He scans about for Seth, then begins to head for the ruins
<Kit> 6Nephilim skulks along as well.
<Chad`Winters> 6Dahok stands up and moves after him. 1"If they won't let us in, be ready to take the guards out.
<Kaelan> * Seth comes running back with the supplies, huffing a little. "Got what I could find!"
<Chad`Winters> 6Dahok peers back at him to see what he all grabbed
<Kaelan> * Seth holds up the items, the mercy of the GM to determine.
<DeathStar> 6* What the GM said he might find
<DeathStar> 6* AS far as clothes goes, one of Jean's black outfits the angel got; slinky black assassin look
<Chad`Winters> 6Dahok pulls the cloak off and tosses it over Thomas' shoulder and he grabs the slinky black assasin outfit and starts putting it on quickly.
<Kaelan> * Seth tosses Dahok his swimming rod and wooden sword, and the sexy black assassin suit. Which he eagerly awaits.
<Kaelan> * Seth has the bow and Rachael's sword too, but those are Rachael's!
<Chad`Winters> 6Dahok pauses as he grabs his "swimming" rod and the wooden sword. 1"How am I supposed to fight with this?!" 6He holds said "swimming" rod up
<DeathStar> 6* Thomas, to his credit, never looks at Dahok change; after walking along, he pauses outside the ruins, then crouches with a frown. There seems to be no guards
<Kaelan> * Seth grins and holds out the sword.
<DeathStar> 6* The angel nudges Dahok for control, telling him to move aside.,
<Chad`Winters> 6Dahok goes to swing then pauses, letting hte Angel take over
<DeathStar> 6* Jean straightens up, then peers at them. "What I am about to offer, I will only offer once, so listen closely." 6* She seems tense, her miscolored eyes boring holes into each of them
* Kaelan fidgets a little, then looks at her.
<Kit> <Zeal> Um...
<Kaelan> * Seth nods, returning her gaze.
<Kit> 6Nephilim hops out in front of Jean, swaying on her heels playfully
<DeathStar> <Jean> I offer all of you--except that one-- 6* She gestures at Kaelan's broken nose especially. "Any of you wish to have my 'mark', speak now. I will not state what benefits are with it, nor will I discuss what disadvantages come with it; one you already knw. If you choose this 'curse', it will be on whatever faith you have in me. 6* She smiles eerily (cont)
<DeathStar> <Jean> If you accept the mark, you will not tell the other me anything about it, nor allow her to stupidly remove it. This will between you and me. Now, who wants the mark, for whatever advantages it may bring - and whatever misfortune as well?
<DeathStar> 6* Jean eyes them all, crossing her arms, almost as if she's trying to scare them into saying no.
<Kaelan> * Seth furrows his brow, then nods. "I'll take your mark, Angel."
<Kit> <Zeal> When you... put it that way, I cannot say yes. As I have no idea to what disadvantage it would serve you-- and I have already seen it used against you. I will not become a heel to you more than I already am.
<DeathStar> 6* Jean eyes Seth, studying him an with an odd expression, then simply nods. She eyes the others.
<DeathStar> <Jean> I see. Then, Seth, it will appear you are my trusted knight.
<DeathStar> 6* Jean touches either side of his head, closing her eyes
<Kit> 6Zeal jerks, looking away and frowning, hurt again.
<Kaelan> * Seth watches, and from experience, braces himself expecting pain.
<DeathStar> 6* Thomas touches Zeal's shoulder.
<Kit> 6Nephilim sticks her hand up in front of Jean's face, having not moved.
<DeathStar> 6* Jean focuses, then releases Thomas, looking weaker; she eyes Nephilim. "And you have decided to have one as well?"
<Kit> NRP: Poor Thomas.
<DeathStar> NRP: Seth, Thomas, same thing
<Kit> <Nephilim> I don't mind! I can't be used against you!" 6She smirks cockily.
<DeathStar> 6* Jean touches Nephilim on the head as well, focusing again; a moment later, she releases her; a mark is on her Nephilim's stomach, still in the first stage it seems.
<DeathStar> 6* Jean pants a little, then nods; the ground trembles again.
<Kaelan> * Seth looks up, then down at himself almost curiously.
<Kit> 6Nephilim peers down at it, blinking. 1"That's it? Haa!"
<Kit> <Nephilim> Some curse.
<DeathStar> <Jean> There. I will return control to the fool fisherman while I recover. 6* She notes, closing her eyes
<Kaelan> "...And we should make ready to move as soon as he's righted again."
<DeathStar> <Jean> Seth and Nephilim, I am trusting you. 6* She notes simply, then lets Dahok back out
<Kit> <Zeal> ...
<Kaelan> * Seth nods a little. "Don't worry lady."
<Chad`Winters> 6Dahok steps forward and slaps Seth
<Kaelan> * Seth sighs. "I see we're still mad, and now in the form that scorns me the worst."
<Chad`Winters> <Dahok> Fishing rod as a weapon...6He shakes a fist at him and takes his wood sword, shifting it on himself.
<Kaelan> * Seth holds out Rachael's sword. "It was a joke, this too."
<DeathStar> <Thomas> The lack of guards... 6* He speaks up slowly. "Seems to indicate a trap."
<Kit> <Zeal> Yes..." 6She says, without conviction.
<Chad`Winters> 6Dahok takes Rachael's sword and slips it. 1"Trap's are only good for one thing."
<Kit> <Nephilim> More funt hat way!
<Kaelan> "Or they just feel we're too late to stop anything. Let's hope it's just a trap."
<DeathStar> 6* So far, neither Seth nor Neph can exactly feel any advantages, other than any tiredness seems to be gone at the moment; Nephilim would find any aches from the Lightstone gone
<DeathStar> 6* Thomas peers to see who will lead the way
<Chad`Winters> <Dahok> Let's go spring it.
<Kit> 6Nephilim just seems more energetic, then, despite her lifeless eyes.
<Chad`Winters> 6Dahok whistles at Seth to lead
<Kit> 6Nephilim springs to do so beforehand.
<Kaelan> * Seth sighs and heads forward.
<Chad`Winters> 6Dahok watches her go and shrugs and moves to follow
<DeathStar> 6* Thomas moves along as well; the entrance to the ruins seems to have been carefully dug out, and reveals an ore metal for a wall, with a hole in it. On the other side is a room
* Kaelan moves after Dahok, standing nearby protectively. "How are you feeling Dahok...?"
<DeathStar> <Thomas> ... how odd. I didn't even realize it before.
<DeathStar> 6* Thomas pauses, peering about
<Chad`Winters> <Dahok> Other then her body being in pain...6He looks at Thomas. 1"What?"
<Kaelan> "Hmm?"
* Kaelan looks at Thomas, then back at Dahok. "I-It's that bad?"
<DeathStar> <Thomas> The Lightstone is near here. It's probably part of the same ruins. I must have gotten lucky not to run into any guards
<Chad`Winters> <Dahok> You came out of here?
<DeathStar> 6* Thomas points to the left some. "About 200 meters that way."
<Chad`Winters> 6Dahok eyes that way then pulls out his drawn map, thinking quickly.
<Kaelan> "Well, the guards were arrivign by boat, Harbinger came ahead..."
<Chad`Winters> <Dahok> All the ruins have a few guards to keep looters from getting in.
<DeathStar> 6* The ruins, though only half-uncovered, look like a labyrinth; it's hard to say what their destination is at, since so many places are marked "unexplored"
<Kaelan> "And he'll know we're approaching."
<Kit> <Nephilim> We could have been caught!" 6She tsks at Thomas
<Chad`Winters> <Dahok> You know...we could take them by suprise and go in the way you came out Thomas.
<Chad`Winters> <Dahok> I can't guarantee they'll connect, but it's very likely they do
<DeathStar> <Thomas> It was a single room; if there was a door, I didn't notice.
<Chad`Winters> <Dahok> Oh. 6He rubs his head and nods. 1"Time's wasting then."
<DeathStar> <Thomas> It's possible the ruins and Lightstones have a connection simply due to the age. Teh one we used in Nuege was under the castle, and there are rumors Nuege Castle was built on old ruins, to help warm the city
<Kaelan> * Seth looks about, "Which way, Diggers?"
<Chad`Winters> 6Dahok tries to feel out Rachael
<Kit> <Zeal> Mm, using that device the church allowed them to for some reason...
<DeathStar> <Thomas> The angel would probably know, but there's no sense in rousing her until we make our way in some distance, I'd imagine. 6* Dahok wouldn't feel anything
<Chad`Winters> <Dahok> I can't feel Rachael either...6He glances at his map as he moves through the room now.
<Kit> 6Nephilim studies the ore, then Kaelan's bikini.
<DeathStar> 6* Thomas pulls out a glowstone, shining it into the room; it's been completely cleared out, whatever it is, and a door seems wedged open with rock.
<DeathStar> 6* They don't seem to be the same material
<Kit> 6Nephilim taps the back of her knife on both
<Chad`Winters> 6Dahok glances at the door wedged open and motions for someone to go through
<DeathStar> 6* There is a similiar echo effect
<Kaelan> "I wonder... if I'm still connected to Harbinger... does it only go one way?"
<Chad`Winters> <Dahok> It's not worth finding out right now
<DeathStar> 6* Thomas moves into the room and shines the light through the door; it seems to be a thin hallway
<Kit> <Zeal> You mean to say you wonder if you can do the same to Harbringer as he did to lady Al'ryl and the angel.
<DeathStar> 6* It goes left and right
<Chad`Winters> 6Dahok steps out and holds out the map for Thomas to see.
<Kaelan> "Or at least feel him out, we're headed to him."
<DeathStar> <Thomas> There are unexplored sections in both directions. But left would lead in the direction of town, and the angel indicated Harbinger was under us.
<DeathStar> <Thomas> Seems a likely direction to pick as any other
<Kit> <Zeal> I imagine the moment you tried, you would only alert him to yourself.
<Kaelan> Seth> "Left it is then."
<Chad`Winters> <Dahok> That it does. 6He nods that way and starts moving
<Kaelan> * Seth heads left, Kaelan sticks to Dahok.
<DeathStar> 6* Thomas follows; doors are wedged open on both sides. The map seems to indicate they're simple rooms, probably long sense cleared out. The hallway soom makes a L like shape
<Kaelan> "Lenneth said I was a beacon to him."
<Chad`Winters> <Dahok> We're gonna hit an "L" shape hallway. Keep your guard up.
* Kaelan nods, putting a hand to her sword hilt.
<DeathStar> 6* Thomas pauses, shining the light around. It heads to a single door, wedged open; the map indicates a drop of 10 meters and another floor
<Chad`Winters> <Dahok> Through that door is a drop.
<DeathStar> 6* Thomas steps forward, shining the light down; ropes have been set up to climb down
<Chad`Winters> 6Dahok checks the ropes to make sure they're secure
<DeathStar> 6* They seem to be; Thomas takes one, then climbs down, landing with a drop onto an ore like floor; it makes a strange hallow like sound compared to the floor so far
<Chad`Winters> 6Dahok grabs a rope and slides down after him
<DeathStar> 6* Another door has been wedged open, with another hallway. Thomas taps his foot on the echoy floor
* Kaelan slides down after the two.
<DeathStar> <Thomas> Doesn't sound stable
<Kaelan> * Seth looks back the way they came as they others head down.
<Chad`Winters> 6Dahok peers down then across for the way out
<Kit> <Zeal> It is... below ground during earthquakes. Does anything seem like it should be stable?
<Kaelan> * Seth moves down after the others have all gone down.
<DeathStar> 6* The angel stirs and nudges Dahok aside
<Chad`Winters> 6Dahok complies
<DeathStar> 6* Jean kneels, frowning in thought
<Kaelan> "Something wrong?"
<DeathStar> <Jean> Neither of you are very strong...but... 6* She begins to clench her fist, and Nephilim and Seth would feel weakened of their strength. Jean begins to punch on the floor, moving about as she does, then suddenly one part of the floor dents from her hit. She nods, then releases whatever she's doing to weaken them, pointing
<DeathStar> <Jean> Someone use your weapons and bash that. Harbinger is deeper than this. Much deeper. 6* She returns her grip to Dahok
<Chad`Winters> 6Dahok grabs the punching hand as he takes back over. 1"SON OF A!" 6He starts swearing now
<DeathStar> 6* Thomas eyes the floor warily; the area shakes again as it has been, and dirt falls from above.
<Kaelan> * Seth moves over, shaking his head, "Talk about taking my breath away." *he chuckles and starts to bash his sword agaist the dented floor*
<Kit> <Nephilim> How... unelegant!
<DeathStar> 6* The floor dents in more, and more, then falls and clatters into darkness below, a square shaped hole. Thomas shines the light, and a tiny room is visible
<Kaelan> Seth> "It worked."
<Chad`Winters> 6Dahok shakes the hand as he moves over to the hole and peers down.
<DeathStar> 6* It's a tiny square room where a few people could stand in it, crowded together. Thomas drops down, shining a light, then calls up. "I see circle shaped objects with symbols on them. There appears to be 5 of them." 6* He pushes on them, but the symbols do nothing
<Chad`Winters> 6Dahok grabs the edge of the hole and drops down.
* Kaelan frowns and heads down after Dahok.
<Chad`Winters> 6Dahok shifts to peer at the symbols now
<Kit> 6Nephilim just leaps down, landing on Kaelan and Thomas if she must
<DeathStar> 6* Thomas turns, shifting about to tap on the floor, then notices what appears to be a metal section with holes in it, revealing a small crawl space
<Kaelan> * Seth shrugs and moves down as well.
<Kit> <Zeal> Um, be careful!

<Kit> 6Nephilim wiggles herself down below them and yanks on the metal grate
<DeathStar> 6* It's yanked off; the room shudders again, as if an earth quake were hitting
<Kit> 6Nephilim slips into the crawlspace, exploring
<Chad`Winters> 6Dahok eyes go wide and he eyes the crawl space, then quickly around to see if there's other ways out of the room
<DeathStar> <Thomas> Lady Nephilim, please be---- 6* Suddenly the room begins to shake and fall
<Kaelan> "Wh-What!?"
<DeathStar> 6* The room falls down, then hits something with a shake. Part of the wall falls in, revealing another hallway. The air here is stale
<Chad`Winters> 6Dahok grabs onto Seth to use him to land on.
<Kaelan> * Seth cushions Dahok, getting a face full of boob.
<DeathStar> 6* Thomas groans a bit, then eyes the hallway; they're definitely in an unmarked area of the map now
<Chad`Winters> 6Dahok shifts a knee in his crotch as he gets up. 1"Thanks Seth." 6He peers down the hallway
* Kaelan shakes her head, getting up.
<Kaelan> * Seth groans, "Totally worth it..."
<DeathStar> 6* The hallway here seems to be as much rock and dirt as it is the ore walls. Parts of it are barely passable due to the dirt and rock having come in from both sides, and above.
<DeathStar> 6* Thomas moves over to look up the hole, and reaches up to pull Zeal into the room, holding her gingerly
<DeathStar> <Thomas> Are you okay, Lady Zeal?
<Kaelan> "N-Next time I let the brave men go."
<Chad`Winters> 6Dahok shifts over to see how hard it would be to get through the passable part
<Kit> <Zeal> Um... y-yes.
<Kaelan> * Seth grins, "Smooth Thomas."
<DeathStar> 6* Not that hard; just crouching and crawling
<Kit> <Zeal> Where did Nephilim go?
<DeathStar> 6* Thomas sets her down on her feet, then peers at Seth, looking awkward
<DeathStar> <Thomas> I-- 6* He eyes the crawlspace; it's completely covered by ore now, then looks up, shouting up. "Lady Neph!"
<Chad`Winters> <Dahok> Through the opening that was above. 6He crouches and starts to crawl through.
<DeathStar> 6* Nephilim would hear their voices from below, echoing
<Kit> 6Nephilim just whistles, then keeps looking about.
<DeathStar> 6* The crawlspace leads ahead in darkness
<Kaelan> * Seth gives him a wink and moves over, he follows Dahok through.

<DeathStar> 6* Thomas adjusts his glasses
<Kit> <Zeal> I think so.
<Kaelan> "She's not complaining, so probably."
<DeathStar> 6* Thomas nods, then turns to watch the others going on, and plundging into dark since he has the glowstone
<Chad`Winters> 6Dahok pauses once it get's dark.
<Kaelan> "Want to go next Sir Thomas?"
<Kit> <Zeal> Do we... know where we are now?
<Kaelan> "I think we're off the beaten path now."
<DeathStar> 6* Thomas shifts t ocrawl through, and pass the others, holding up the light; the hallway is still in disarray, and at the end, are a set of doors larger than 3 men
<DeathStar> 6* They are partially opened, with a space narrow enough to squeeze through the two sets
* Kaelan moves through after Thomas.
<Chad`Winters> 6Dahok continues on and he stands up when he can. He peers at the set of doors.
<Chad`Winters> <Dahok> Odd they're open a bit...6He slowly moves towards them.
<Kaelan> * Seth eyes the doors, "Not really, someone's been down here probably."
<Chad`Winters> <Dahok> This is the unexplored area.
<DeathStar> 6* Voices can be heard from the other side
<DeathStar> 6* One is female
<Kaelan> * Seth eyes Dahok and motions.
<Chad`Winters> 6Dahok holds up a hand now as he slowly moves towards the doorway.
<DeathStar> 6* Thomas frowns in concern, stepping forward slowly
<DeathStar> 6* As they get closer, they can also hear a humming sound
<DeathStar> 6* Almost like insects
<Chad`Winters> 6Dahok frowns a bit as he moves upto one of the doors and listens
* Kaelan moves after Dahok, she frowns worriedly.
<DeathStar> 6* Thomas pauses, peering inside. Suddenly the other room lights up, and they can see what appears to be a mystical barrier of a blueish color glowing, and an Anima on the other side of it. Harbinger is holding Rachael by one arm, her wrists pinned behind her, and he eyes the barrier, his back to them
<DeathStar> <Harbinger> What is the secret to opening this, Halfling? How did you and the angel get the other one?
<Chad`Winters> 6Dahok looks inside then at Thomas.
<DeathStar> 6* Thomas peers about, trying to determine where the light source is coming from, but cannot. The Anima seems to have worms attached all over it's ore body
<DeathStar> 6* It looks bulkier than the other one
<DeathStar> <Rachael> I'd never tell you. Aren't you suppose to know everything?!
<Kit> 6Zeal visibly tenses, clenching her jaw at the sight and sound of Rachael.
* Kaelan frowns a bit and listens, clenching her fists.
<DeathStar> 6* Harbinger sneers, then eyes what appears to be an object with a square like bottom, and a circular tube that has a hole on one end. It's facing the opposite wall. Nearby is a circular object, and a lever. Harbinger drags her toward it
<DeathStar> 6* Thomas peers in at HArbinger, frowning as he studies him. "Something about him... How did I not notice before...?"
<Chad`Winters> 6Dahok mouths to Thomas we need to stop him before he get's that thing
<Chad`Winters> <Dahok> What? 6He whispers quietly
* Kaelan peers at Thomas.
<DeathStar> <Thomas> He seems familiar somehow. I cannot place how
<Kaelan> * Seth switches to his bow and arrows, getting ready for a fight.
<Chad`Winters> <Dahok> We still need to stop him now.
<Kit> <Zeal> You have seen him before?
<Chad`Winters> 6Dahok glances around for one of those gauntlets
<DeathStar> <Thomas> Briefly when he attacked the city and you used Anima T to beat him...but...
<Kaelan> "I brought Anima T with me..." *she says softly*
<Chad`Winters> <Dahok> Summoning it might bring this entire place down.
<DeathStar> 6* There doesn't appear to be one visible. Harbinger tries to turn the circular tube to face the field, since it's facing the opposite way, but it doesn't turn. He tries to pull it, and it does pull. RAchael strains and he tosses her down
<Kit> <Zeal> But Harbinger is immortal..
<DeathStar> <Harbinger> Enough of this. I will simply make you my tool to use against the others while I get the Anima.
<Chad`Winters> <Dahok> Seth, Zeal. Hit him now.
<Kit> 6Zeal eyes Dahok like he's ludicrous. 1"And alert him to us to what ends..?"
<Chad`Winters> <Dahok> He's going to make Rachael his.
<Kaelan> "That or let him take Rachael, Zeal."
<DeathStar> 6* Harbinger holds out a hand, and it begins to glow.
<Kaelan> * Seth nods, drawing arrow to bow he shifts out and takes aim, firing at Harbinger.
<Chad`Winters> 6Dahok pulls out Rachaels sword as he moves inside now.
* Kaelan draws her sword and moves after Dahok.
<Kit> 6Zeal stares, hanging back with a frown.
<DeathStar> 6* Harbinger turns, grabbing the arrow and breaking it. Thomas steps through, and Harbinger eyes him. "Thomas McKeeven. If your father could see you now--working with the angel..."
<Chad`Winters> <Dahok> Rachael, are you ok?
<DeathStar> <Thomas> I---- Yes. I am sure of it. You are not Harbinger.
<Kaelan> Seth> "A bloody fake?"
<DeathStar> 6* Rachael nods, scrambling to her feet with a flip and backs up, then eyes Thomas like he's gone nuts
<Chad`Winters> <Dahok> He's not? Then I guess taking him out will be easier.
<Chad`Winters> 6Dahok tosses Rachaels sword to her and he pulls out the wood one
<DeathStar> <Harbinger> Ha ha ha... Thomas, Thomas, what would Titus say, seeing you like this? You were to be his successor. One of the 4 God Generals.

<Kaelan> Seth> "Great, now there's generals."
<DeathStar> <Thomas> ... 6* He makes a face, pushing up his glasses with a finger. "They are a hidden legion within the church, higher than even the Top Tier Knights who know magic. They serve the Arch Bishop directly."
<DeathStar> <Thomas> And this is Cletus, one of them. Now playing at being a god. Why, Cletus?
<Chad`Winters> <Dahok> .oO(Angel, do you know where the gauntlet for this Anima is?")
* Kaelan clutches her sword tightly, looking more pissed off then she was a moment ago.
<Chad`Winters> <Dahok> ...Wait...You're more powerful than that Odin guy? 6He looks at Thomas now
<DeathStar> 6* "Harbinger"'s eyes glow a bit. "When news that the great Amazo had attacked the angel, I prayed to Harbinger, the god of foresight, to make me his tool to bring her to us."
<Kit> <Zeal> Odin must be one of them... makes sense." 6She mumbles, then leans out to study the room and their target
<Chad`Winters> <Dahok> I knew something was off about you. 6He shifts sideways a bit to get give some space.
<DeathStar> <Thomas> Then you're not doing exactly what the gods want. They want her captured, if my translations were correct.
<DeathStar> 6* Harbinger snorts. "You are like Titus. Thinking the prophecies and killing the angel was meant to isolate her from humans so she woudl receive no aid, and allow the gods to capture; why, then, did Amazo crush a city to get her? Why give me the power to kill her? To make puppets and ressurect the dead?
<Chad`Winters> <Dahok> Sorry it took us so long to get here, Rachael. 6He smirks slightly like Dahok would
<DeathStar> 6* The anegl doesn't respond to Dahok
<DeathStar> 6* Rachael eyes Dahok oddly now
<Kaelan> "This is all over a translation debate? The church hunting us is..."
<DeathStar> <Thomas> Make no debate; the church will kill anyone who help the angel. That part of the orders are clear
<Kaelan> "Wait... is Lenneth one of these Generals too?"
<Kit> 6Zeal steps out with her bow drawn and two arrows notched, releasing both toward Cletus, the top favoring a headshot.
<DeathStar> <Thomas> But pretending to be a god, Cletus. You've gone mad with whatever power. ... 6* He pauses, then eyes the others. "No human could possiblely wield that type of power. He must have one of the relics the gods gave the church."
<DeathStar> 6* Cletus waves a hand and a wave of power knocks them away.
<Chad`Winters> <Dahok> A lot of this is above me, all I know is, is that I ower Cletus here a whooping."
<DeathStar> <Thomas> Lenneth? There is a female General, but I cannot say her whereabouts.
<DeathStar> <Cletus> You are not the angel, are you? Ah, yes, that soul. The god of foresight tells me -- you are my last puppet. 6* Rachael eyes Dahok, gasping
<Chad`Winters> <Dahok> It seems the Gods enjoy using people instead of putting themselvs at risk.

<DeathStar> <Thomas> Or I have another theory. They were allowing prophecy to come true. To what end, I do not know, since they do not want the last one to come true. Perhaps they ... hope to cntrol the anegl before then

<DeathStar> 6* Cletus steps forward, and fires a blast of light into Dahok, knocking him back into a wall. The angel begins to wrestle control from him
<Chad`Winters> 6Dahok squats slightly as he bends his knees, the wood sword resting across his shoulders
<Chad`Winters> 6Dahok goes flying and let's her take control
<DeathStar> 6* Cletus is wearing a white cloak around his body, hiding everything but his head, where his silver hair and glowing eyes make him ungodly.
<Kit> 6Zeal visibly trembles, seething. 1"Puppetry... it was not the god, this is the very devil who wrought that scenario!"
<DeathStar> <Thomas> It has to be on his person. The cloak makes it impossible to tell which he might have
<Kit> <Zeal> Wind magic, Rachael!
<DeathStar> <Cletus> Harbinger, grant me the power to destroy these blasphey people
<DeathStar> 6* Rachael pauses, then lifts a hand, unleashing a gale burst. The cloak whips about, revealing what seems to be ore armor, and on his left finger is a glowing ring. He aims at Rachael, the ring glowing as a light blast hits her. The angel begins to focus, strengthening Seth and Nephilim
<DeathStar> 6* Nephilim, meanwhile, would know exactly where to find the anegl
<DeathStar> <Thomas> We must destroy that ring.
<Kit> 6Zeal quickly aims and releases another arrow in the same motion as his attack, her eyes focusing on the glower,
<DeathStar> 6* Cletus jerks his hand to the side
<DeathStar> 6* Cletus rushes forward and appears in front of Jean, grabbing her throat and squeezing
<Kaelan> * Seth focuses and aims at Harbinger's back, taking a shot for him as he closes in on Jean.
<Kit> 6Zeal frowns, exhaling as she steadies her body and pulls back her bowstring, using the composites to increase the velocity and releases again for the ring.
<DeathStar> 6* Cletus jerks Jean around, letting the arrows hit her
<DeathStar> 6* Jean cries out, blood spluttering from her lips. Cletus pauses to laugh, his eyes closing with delight
<Kaelan> * Seth hisses and frowns, drawing another arrow. "Damnit all."
<Kit> 6Zeal jerks, backing up with wide eyes.
<DeathStar> 6* Jean strains in pain, then Seth would begin to feel weaker, as if his life energy were draining, while Jean's wound slowly mend. Cletus pauses to stare, momentarily distracted
<DeathStar> 6* Rachael jerks forward during this, swinging the sword at him, so if he does notice the attack, it's not one from someoen else
<Kaelan> * Seth grumbles a little and shakes his head. "D-Do what you need girl."
<Kit> 6Zeal stumbles as a streak of green and blonde pushes past her, in an urgent sprint.
<DeathStar> 6* Rachael swings at Cletus, who shifts to avoid it, his grip loosening on Jean
<Kaelan> * Kaelan rushes in after Rachael, readying her sword to strike at his flank from where Rachael does, cutting towards his side.
<DeathStar> 6* Cletus shifts Jean toward Kaelan's swing
* Kaelan pulls her blade back at the cost of her footing, slipping back.
<DeathStar> 6* Thomas studies the tubular device, and taps a button; it fires a beam of light nad leaves a gaping ohle in the wall. He peers back at Cletus thoughtfully
<DeathStar> 6* Cletus aims at Kaelan, and blasts her face with a light blast, sening her flying back and with severe burns
<Kit> 6Nephilim springs up, grabbing Jean as if in a dance and pulling her with her running momentum so Cletus' 'shield' is ineffective for a moment
* Kaelan cries out and crashes down, whimpering in pain.
<DeathStar> 6* Cletus pauses to eye Nephilim in range, aiming his hand after her
<Kaelan> * Seth fires at arrow for Cletus' hand.
<DeathStar> 6* Seth misses due to his weakness
<Kit> 6Nephilim uses her grasp on Jean as a pivot point and swings her lower body up, reaching for his arm with her legs goes to grab that to swing from it with a smile, to stay out of the palm aim.
<DeathStar> 6* Rachael turns to swing at Cletus's side as he aims, and it hits his armor - doing no damage. She gapes as he pauses to eye her.
* Kaelan pulls herself up, living with the pain as she grips her sword, she moves in again.
<DeathStar> <Thomas> Those with wind gales. Try to knock him in front of this. 6* He motions at the tubeular object.
<Kit> 6Nephilim comes to a rest atop Cletus' arm while he's eyeing Rachael, leaning forward and exclaiming. 1"Heeey. Pretty ring!"

<DeathStar> 6* Cletus glows, and a blast hits Nephilim, sending her flying into the blue aura; she's fried
<Kit> 6Nephilim falls over twitching.
<DeathStar> 6* Jean lands just as hard
<DeathStar> <Cletus> ... 6* He then blasts Rachael in the gut, sending her into the wall
<DeathStar> <Cletus> Villains do not win. 6* He declares to them
<Kit> 6Zeal starts releasing volleys of arrows for Cletus when he's repelled all people from his vicinity.
<Kaelan> * Seth raises his bow again, taking a shot at Cletus. "Yer right... you bastard."
<Kit> <Zeal> Then fall before the righteous, scoundrel!!
<DeathStar> 6* Cletus jerks as the arrows come in; one strikes the ring, but seems to do little
<DeathStar> 6* Rachael groans in pain from the ground, while Cletus moves forward; one arrow seems to have grazed his neck, however, and it bleeds
<Kaelan> * Seth fires another, "So gods do bleed."
<DeathStar> 6* Cletus grabs it
<Kit> <Zeal> He is no god! He is a devil in a man's form!
<DeathStar> 6* Cletus approaches Jean and Nephilim. Thomas groans as no one listens to him
<Kit> 6Zeal aims another arrow for Cletus' head-- then shifts. 1"Rachael! Now!"
<DeathStar> 6* Racheal --- does nothing now, laying o nthe floor and holding her stomach; blood drips from her hand

<DeathStar> 6* Cletus grabs this one, too, then raises them up to impale Jean

<Kit> 6Nephilim musters any movement left in her, should she have... any... being... fried... the thief in her reflexively coiling herself to snatch the ring like she might in a crowd.
<DeathStar> 6* Cletus eyes Nephilim grabbing at his hand, and so he grabs her throat, and begins to walk her toward the barrier of blue again

<DeathStar> 6* Thomas strains to push the tubular object after Cletus, though it's still facing the wrong one. He begins to push it over the circular object with the lever next to it
<Kit> 6Zeal runs over, eyeing the contraptions to see if she can help Thomas.
* Kaelan rushes in from the side as Cletus holds her out, she comes in with an upward slash at his arm, intending to get the ring off the hard way.
<Kit> <Nephilim> What does... p-pride oft come most before?" 6She wheezes.
<DeathStar> 6* Cletus shifts NEphilim into the slash; Kaelan slices nito her back, sending blood gushing out
<Kaelan> "N-Neph!"
<DeathStar> 6* Thomas eyes the circular object, then the lever.
* Kaelan falls back, gasping.
<Kit> 6Nephilim laughs cruelly as she's cut into. 1"Yeah-- that's me."
<DeathStar> 6* Jean groans from the ground, wincing in pain; Nephilim begins to get healed, while Jean looks paler, and blood runs from her nose and mouth
<DeathStar> <Cletus> Pathetic.
<DeathStar> <Thomas> Pull that.
* Kaelan then swings her blade at Cletus' legs as she falls back.
<DeathStar> <Cletus> You must be very eager to kill your teammates. 6* He throws Nephilim right onto the sword
* Kaelan pulls it down so it doesn't impale her... since she wouldn't be holding it upwards to start with, sweeping at legs.
<Kit> 6Nephilim takes a breath-- Zeal nodding to Thomas and doing so.-- then she peers at Cletus seeing if she can use that effect she felt earlier to draw strength, forsaking the healing so she can clutch Cletus and keep herself from being tossed.
<DeathStar> 6* Nephilim would be able to draw strength from Jean, enough to hold on.
* Kaelan pulls back, sword dragging along the stone as she backs away. "D-Damnit..."
<DeathStar> 6* The circular object turns and the tubular objects point at the east wall now instead of the south; the barrier is to the north. The lever shifts back into place
<Kit> <Nephilim> Dirty, was it?! Heh heh!" 6She opens her eyes wide, almost animal-like and leans down quickly, not hesitating in the least in flat out attempting to chomp right over his ringed finger, biting with her jaw's strength.
<Kit> 6Zeal pauses, then hits the lever again.
<Kaelan> * Seth stares a bit, not having dared to fire another arrow with Neph captive.
<DeathStar> 6* Cletus' eyes widen as she chomps on; his finger doesn't seem to be ripping off, but he strains to try to push her away; Jean begins to bleed more
<Kit> 6Nephilim hisses with effort, even reduced to gnawing, tenacious to say the least.
<DeathStar> 6* The tubular object points at the south wall again. Thomas curses. <Thomas> It can only turn 45 degrees in one direct, then back? Then how do get make the tubular object face the norht wlal? 6* The lever shifts back into place
<DeathStar> 6* Cletus strains more, momentarily distracted by Neph to do battle
<Kit> 6Zeal frowns, hitting it again and looking for any other objects.
<DeathStar> 6* The tubular object faces the east wall again
<Kit> 6Zeal starts by looking to the east wall apparently.
* Kaelan shifts, moving behind him and striking with a low, horizontal slash at his back.
<DeathStar> 6* Cletus shifts his arm around and Kaelan strikes into Nephilim again; near her spine
<DeathStar> 6* His speed seems no less than a god's still
<DeathStar> 6* The east wall is normal; in fact, there apperas to be nothing else in the room that could have anything to do with the lever and circular rotating object
<Kit> 6Nephilim groans, biting harder out of pain-- she's clearly not ignoring it.
* Kaelan stops herself and pulls the blade away before she does too much damage, she steps back, giving up a melee assault.
<DeathStar> 6* Jean begins to cough up blood; Seth would begin to feel more life energy drained as Kaelan hacks away at Nephilim
<DeathStar> 6* Jean mutters something through the blood about ending Kaelan's life, her eyes wavering not to lose consciousness
<Kaelan> Seth> "Good god... thank you for giving up..." *he stumbles a bit to his knees*
<Kaelan> * Kaelan clutches the sword, she sheathes it and moves over to the others.
<DeathStar> 6* Cletus snarls, taking steps toward the barrier again
<Kit> 6Nephilim coughs up some blood, letting go slightly, then viciously chews into his finger again.
<Kaelan> * Seth keeps his bow trained on Cletus.
<DeathStar> 6* Cletus takes another step toward it
<Kaelan> "Is there... anything else that can be shifted?"
<Kit> <Zeal> I see nothing.
<Kaelan> "But we can push it around... it seems... so can't we put it somewhere were it'll turn to face the right way?"
<DeathStar> 6* Rachael begins to rise to her feet slowly, aiming at Cletus. She tries to will Neph to let go for a moment
<Kit> 6Nephilim lets go-- by fainting.
<DeathStar> 6* Rachael blasts Cletus, and he slides along into the tubular object, knocking it off the circular object
<DeathStar> 6* Rachael tries again, but nothing happens. Cletus begins to rise, but is on the other side of the tubular hole
<Kit> <Zeal> Thomas..
<DeathStar> 6* Rachael holds her stomach, shifting over to Nephilim and Jean, wincing. Cletus turns and blasts Thomas, sending him into the wall with a sickening crack
* Kaelan reaches down and starts to try and lift it back up.
<Kit> 6Zeal jerks and shifts to kick what Thomas was using to fire earlier.
<DeathStar> 6* The object is too heavy to lift up; it can only be pushed. The device beeps, then blasts into Cletus, knockimg him into the wall; his armor cracks as he slides down, stunned momentarily
<Kaelan> "Get ready to fire when I get the ring." *she rushes in and moves to try and take the ring from Cletus' hand*
<DeathStar> 6* Seth begins to bleed from the eyes and ears and nose
<DeathStar> 6* Cletus grabs Kaelan's throat.
<Kit> <Zeal> ..." 6Hits the button again if Kaelan's not in the line.
<DeathStar> <Cletus> I will..kill you again. And use your bones as a warning to those...who defy the gods--- 6* He pauses, jerking Kaelan in the path; the blast rips through her gut and hits his armor again, shattering it and stunning him
* Kaelan screams out as she stares dwon dumbly at the hole in her gut.
<Kit> 6Zeal gasps, falling to her knees in horror.
<DeathStar> 6* Cletus begins to recover
<Kaelan> * Seth falls to his knees, looking at the blood.
<DeathStar> 6* Cletus reaches down for Kaelan
<Kit> <Zeal> K-Kael..
<Kaelan> * Kaelan reaches for her sword, she tries to cut at his hand. "N-NEVER!"
<DeathStar> 6* Kaelan can't move; she's got a ohle in her gut and is dying
<Kaelan> Seth> "Zeal... do something!"
<Kit> <Zeal> Like WHAT!?
<DeathStar> 6* Cletus grabs her throat again, lifting her up
<Kaelan> * Seth grabs his bow up, aiming. "C-Couldna shot the prick..."
<DeathStar> 6* Cletus twists her neck and drops her to the ground, then begins to stumble toward Zeal and the cannon
* Kaelan falls silently to the ground.
<DeathStar> <Cletus> Do you see what---happens when you defy the church? When you join forces with them?
<DeathStar> 6* At that moment, Jean rises, fully healed, and Nephilim would awaken, compeltely healed; all of Seth's wounds begin to reverse. Jean grimaces.
<Kaelan> * Seth rises, staring, "W-Well that's better." *he moves for the cannon, seeing Zeal paralysed*
<Kit> <Zeal> ...All I see... is an abomination... lusting for power and glutton of death... something inhuman... uncaring, unfit for life and not wanting for death...
<DeathStar> 6* Cletus aims his hand at Seth, blasting him away, though it leaves him open for a moment
<Kaelan> * Seth flies back, hitting the ground hard and groaning. "Being a hero is hard work..."
<DeathStar> 6* Rachael rises, touching a mark on her upper thigh, then aims at Cletus, using a gale burst again to hit him back into the wall in front of the tubular object
<Kaelan> Seth> "Hit it now Zeal!"
<DeathStar> 6* She does it again and again each time he begins to move, and Jean looks run down
<Kit> 6Nephilim shifts, bracing the dagger in her hand with her other arm and sprinting, attacking in her own movement from rising off the floor to try and jab her knife to Cletus' hand aiming to pin it to the wall where the turret fired.
<DeathStar> <Jean> Do not...destroy..that ring. 6* She shouts hoarsely
<DeathStar> 6* Cletus eyes his hand get pinned, jerking to try to pull it free.
<Kit> <Nephilim> Ring's on finger. Removing hand's okay, yeah?
<Kit> 6Zeal eyes the machine hesitantly, wiping her eyes with one hand and resting her hand on the button with her other.
<DeathStar> <Jean> The power of that cannon might...remove it all. 6* Rachael eyes her like she's nuts.
<Kaelan> * Seth rises again, moving for the lever.
<DeathStar> <Jean> Just take his head off with it
<Kit> 6Nephilim makes a face and shifts, kicking high into the handle of her knife, veering Cletus to the side slightly along its path so that the aim shifts to his head as Jean wants
<DeathStar> 6* Cletus reaches out for Nephilim, about to take her with him
<Kit> 6Nephilim makes a full circle, letting her leg shift low so she's bowing to Jean at the end. 1"As y'wish."
<Kaelan> * Seth moves over to Zeal, puts his hand over hers, and pushes the button for her.
<DeathStar> 6* Cletus just howls, reaches out, and rips the dagger out with his other hand, turning to face the cannon
<DeathStar> 6* Then jerks as his head is hit by the blast, and knocked right into the wall; skin melts and bone cracks, leaving an awkward skeletial remain behind. Then it begins to heal.
<DeathStar> 6* Rachael stares as the dead man's head begins to reform, the ring glowing
<DeathStar> <Jean> Somene get it off before he recovers enough to stop you
<Kaelan> Seth> Get the ring from him now!
<Kit> <Nephilim> Make peace roth with penance-- silent is the night, still fearful of the morning light and the fury it doth bring.
<Kit> 6Nephilim turns, plucking at the ring like a flower.
<DeathStar> 6* The body stops it's healing process and falls over. The ring is cracked all over now
<Kit> <Nephilim> Not as pretty as I remember..
<DeathStar> 6* Apparantly it did have a limit. Jean shifts to kneel, eyeing the dead Kaelan, then peers at Thomas silently. Rachael is silent, peering at Jean fully healed.
<Kit> 6Zeal drops again, putting her face in her hands, sobbing.
<DeathStar> 6* Rachael moves over and touches Zeal's shoulder. Thomas shifts, groaning in pain, his arm twisted wrong
<Kaelan> * Seth sighs, rubbing his head. "Zeal..."
<DeathStar> <Jean> The ring should reanimate her body. 6* She tells Nephilim.
<Kit> <Nephilim> Yeah? That'd be swell.
<DeathStar> <Jean> Though I can't say if she will ever be right - it looks broken.
<DeathStar> 6* Jean eyes the dead Cletus. "I had planned to give Dahok this body." 6* She murmurs.
<Kit> <Nephilim> And just which of us is really right?" 6She notes, musing as she kneels by Kaelan, slipping the ring onto her finger like some old Grimm's tale.
<DeathStar> 6* Nothing seems to happen to Kaelan, at first, until she reanimates like some zombie horror nightmare, her body twitching and her eyes looking wrong. Finally the wound on her stomach heals, but one eye remains fucked up like dead people do when something is blown in it. The ring shatters a moment later, though Kaelan is 'alive' and can think/move again
<DeathStar> 6* Rachael peers at Jean. "Dahok ... this body...?" <Jean> It doesn't matter. He's gone now.
<Kit> <Nephilim> Hm, some less right than others.
* Kaelan blinks and slowly picks herself up, feeling confused. "Didn't I just... die...?"
<Kit> 6Zeal peers through her fingers, then recoils, turning away and not sure she feels any better.
<DeathStar> 6* Jean is silent, moving over to pull the lever, the circular object moving again, then moves over to put a hand on the tubular object, pushing it on it again
<DeathStar> 6* Jean then pulls it again, and it turns once more - facing north. Thomas shifts to his feet, moving over with his broke arm. "Are you alright, Lady Zeal?"
<Kaelan> * Seth gets up, sighing a little. "Well... we killed a god?"
<Kit> <Nephilim> No, weren't you listening? God-general.
<Kit> <Zeal> Not at all...
<Kaelan> Seth> "Good enough for me."
<DeathStar> 6* Thomas pauses, then pulls Zeal into a hug; Rachael looks at Jean, then hugs Zeal, peering down with a frown. Jean hits the button and blasts the barrier and it vanishes. A pedestal rises with a gauntlet on it.
<Kaelan> * Kaelan looks down at where the gut wound was, putting a hand to her tummy. "Walk through fire I guess..."
* Kaelan looks over. "...Another Anima... which one is this...?"
<DeathStar> <Jean> ... Anima D.
<DeathStar> 6* Jean is still silent, looking brooding, and she moves around the Anima as if she had no interest in it.

* Kaelan walks over and looks at the gauntlet. "So we have a second Anima now... and the village is safe."
<Kaelan> * Seth walks over after Jean.
<DeathStar> 6* Jean walkss up to a white gem, much like the piece she got back in Nuege that didn't grant them magic. A barrier is around it as it rests on a pedstal, worm like thigns attached to the pedestal. A lever is next to it as well
<Kit> <Zeal> K-Killed sir Fyro... shot Jean-- killed ...Kael..
<Kit> <Nephilim> This what you're after?
* Kaelan calls over, "Hey Angel... is it safe to take this gauntlet?"
<DeathStar> <Thomas> Accidents happen in battle.
<DeathStar> 6* Jean just ignores Kaelan, and moves over to the lever, and yanks it. The lights flicker off, the humming ends, and the barrier vanishes. Suddenly, the area begins to shake.
<Kaelan> "Oh jeez."
<Kit> <Nephilim> Hah! Typical of 'Last Treasure!'
* Kaelan grabs the gauntlet and ticks it away, moving over to the others.
<Kaelan> *tucks
<DeathStar> 6* Jean looks around, grabbing the gem and it vanishes. The roof begins to fall in, smashing against the floor, and RAchael looks up, her breathing picking up as she realizes how deep under she is; she freezes in fear
* Kaelan frowns and moves over, picking up Rachael to carry her.
<Kaelan> Seth> "We've gotta go I think, boss lady."
<DeathStar> <Thomas> We have to go. WE should use that Anima T or the D.
<DeathStar> 6* Jean turns, moving quickly as a piece of debris smashes down near her, knocking her off her feet.
<Kaelan> * Seth moves over and picks her up.
* Kaelan nods and pulls out the D gauntlet.
* Kaelan sets Rachael down next to Zeal. "Okay, I just put this on?" *she steps back and does*
<DeathStar> 6* The massive Anima forms around her, and begins to crush Zeal and RAchael, since she only stepped bac, and it's massive. It towers over them, made of bulky ore armor
<DeathStar> 6* Thomas jerks the two girls back before their bones are broken up by Kaelan the Intelligent
* Kaelan moves back away from th two she's crushing.
<Kit> <Zeal> ..." 6She reaches to hug Rachael, not looking sure she's of any use, but not wanting to leave Rachael nontheless-- of course she then groans and tries to keep Rachael from being crushed at her own expense.
<DeathStar> 6* The area continues to shake and break apart; debris hits the anime, doing no damage.
<DeathStar> 6* Jean hurries under it, using it as a shield, while Thomas moves them in closer once it's done forming
* Kaelan holds out it's two hands, one out for them to get on, the other above as a shelter.
<Kit> 6Nephilim scurries about with Jean, looking skeptical. 1"This-- is going to help us?"
<Kaelan> * Seth hurries under it too.
<DeathStar> <Thomas> I hope so. 6* His tone is tight with worry, considering it's driver
<Kaelan> "I'm listening to suggestions."
<DeathStar> 6* More debris strikes the Anima, and it's clear it'll be buried with them in a few more moments
<DeathStar> 6* Half the room collapses and is filled up, forming a pathway up to the next floor
<DeathStar> 6* Thomas gets on the one hand
<Kaelan> "Everyone on the hand."
<Kaelan> * Seth hops up sheepishly, Kaelan uses the other hand to prevent them from getting crushed by more debris.
<Kaelan> * Seth climbs down and pulls Zeal up, then Rachael.
<DeathStar> 6* Jean hops up, holding the fishing rod
<Kaelan> "Nephilim, you too."
<DeathStar> 6* A piece of debris hits the shoulder, damaging it. The Anima shudders with damage
<Kaelan> "Hurry."
<Kit> 6Nephilim looks around for the source of voice, then shrugs, hopping with the others.
<DeathStar> 6* There's a groaning sound, and they're about to be buried alive.
<Kaelan> * Kaelan then starts moving along the exposed path.
<DeathStar> 6* PREPARE YOURSELF KAELAN OR YOU SHALL DIE AGAIN AND JOIN DAHOK IN HELL

<DeathStar> 6* The Anima reaches the top and pulls itself up, as the entire area shudders with a horrible earthquake, and pieces fall in. As they get near the top, they can hear people screaming and see buildings falling past them.
<DeathStar> 6* One building that's following will provide a jump off point to the solid surface above, but people are on the roof, holding on as they fall to their doom. Kaelan will have to leap on them as well to make the jump to reach safety

<Kaelan> "So much for the village safe... damnit all..." *she keeps on moving, feeling sick as she doesn't stop*
<DeathStar> 6* The people are crushed under the Anima, their bodies making a sickening crunch and screams that are cut short. Blood oozes out as she leaps up to safety around trees. Rachael peers out, looking like she's gone into shock, and Jean peers at the crater in the center of the island now, with remains of buildings down in the hole
<DeathStar> 6* There's some cries of pain from those who survived falling in, though erosion has filled up parts of the hole from the sides, leaving areas completely buried. In a few decades, no doubt, there will be no trace of any town here
* Kaelan lowers the Anima's hands, deathly quiet as she gets them a safe distance.
<DeathStar> 6* Thomas peers through broken glasses quietly, then at Jean, almost as if he's re-evaluating if she's good or evil. "And the angel will cause the ground to swallow man whole..."
<Kit> 6Nephilim cowers, holding her hands over her ears with a sickened expression, but her eyes not changing in the least.
<DeathStar> 6* The Anima vanishes and the gauntlet slides off her arm onto the ground. Rachael doesn't move, her eyes widened as she stares at the hole
<Kit> 6Zeal grips Thomas' side, making a face.
<DeathStar> 6* Also mixed in the ruins, they can see more Templars than were in the town before. Odin's army apparantly arrived.
<Kit> <Zeal> The ground shook... b-before we ever... arrived..
<DeathStar> <Thomas> ...
* Kaelan falls to her knees, she slowly picks up the Anima gauntlet and stares at it. "But we dealt the final blow..."
<DeathStar> 6* Mercy arrives with Azhren carrying their supplies. She peers at them all blankly, then at the hole.
<Kaelan> * Seth stares out, shaking his head.
<DeathStar> 6* Jean silently gets to her feet, turning away from the hole, her expression not changing . She shifts and runs off without a word
* Kaelan gets up, she runs after her.
<Kit> <Zeal> Lady Al'ryl..?" 6She goes to reach, then just looks down, shamed.
<Kit> <Nephilim> Hate... that sound...
<Kaelan> * Seth frowns and shakes his head more, moving after the girls.
<DeathStar> 6* Thomas peers at Rachael still in a state of shock, then at Zeal. "What do you want to do, Lady Zeal?"
<DeathStar> 6* Mercy pauses, then follows, motioning Azhren to follow
<DeathStar> 6* Jean hurries along, moving in pretty good shape since whatever healed her. She runs through the thickets, not caring they tear at her clothing, and cut her skin
<Kit> 6Azhren looks at her, then nods.
<Kaelan> * Kaelan moves right after her, pulling her cloak in to save herself from some of the thickets, considering her bared skin. Seth follows as well, slower though.
<Kit> <Zeal> I-- I just... don't know. I don't know at all..!" 6She heaves, not speaking properly as she usually would.
<DeathStar> 6* Jean pants as she reaches the road, looking about ,then heads for the beach.
<DeathStar> 6* Thomas kneels, then looks at her. "Do you want to quit following the angel? I can try to find us a boat and we can take you back home to Sinai."
* Kaelan stumbles out onto the road after her, running after her.
<Kit> <Zeal> Wh-What good would that do? I'm already marked..
<Kaelan> "Jean!"
<DeathStar> 6* Thomas looks at her. "We can change your looks; you didn't accept the angel's mark, so people won't know your association."
<Kit> 6Nephilim rubs her chin, peering at Zeal and then after the way Kaelan ran off after Jean.
<DeathStar> 6* Jean doesn't react in the last to the name, moving down the road.
<Kit> <Zeal> If I cannot live as myself, what purpose is in myself living..?
<DeathStar> 6* Mercy uses Azhren to take all the damage for her as they follow, then down the road
* Kaelan keeps following her, trying to catch up, Seth stumbles out of the brush and follows down the road.
<DeathStar> <Thomas> ...I--- ... ... 6* He lets out his breath. "I just want you to be happy, LAdy Zeal...I would do anything that would do that for you."
<Kit> 6Azhren shuffles ahead, not seeming like he cares. Pff, foliage.
<DeathStar> 6* Jean comes to a stop when two templars leap out, shouting about the angel; they swing swords at her, making her retreat back
* Kaelan draws her sword, moving up.
<Kit> 6Nephilim squints, then springs out after Mercy and Azhren.
<Kaelan> * Seth pulls out his bow and arrow, he stops, looks for a clean shot, and fires an arrow at one of the templars.
<Kit> <Zeal> ..I want to be dependable and strong... I thought I once was. I was told I was-- but I am so worthless...
<DeathStar> <Thomas> You are not worthless. 6* He says sternly
<DeathStar> 6* The templar gurgles as the arrow hits his eye, killing him as he falls over, blood gushing. He drops 10 gold
<Kaelan> * Kaelan moves in front of Jean, sword ready, guarding her against the remaining one while Seth draws another arrow.
<DeathStar> 6* Neph would note all the dead people in the hole have lots of gold to be looted. Just -10000 affection from her teammates is the penalty
<DeathStar> 6* The Templar swings at Kaelan with a horizontal slash of his sword, aiming in at her left side
<Kaelan> * Kaelan brings her sword out vertically to parry his slash, holding the sword with both hands to strengthen her resolve.
<DeathStar> 6* The Templar pushes a moment, then disengages, trying to back up; Mercy wtaches silently
<Kaelan> * Seth looses his arrow at the templar as he backs up.
<DeathStar> 6* The Templar is hit, gurgling and falls over, dropping 10 more gold
<DeathStar> 6* Jean silently turns to face them, eyeing them all. "Why...are you...following me?"
<Kaelan> Kaelan> "...Angel, Jean... you're not alone in this."
<Kaelan> Seth> "I'm your bloody knight, doing ym job."
<DeathStar> <Jean> You just saw that I killed all those people. Probably hundreds. It also means all three of that Templar's propecies came true. I will likely end the world and kill everyone.
<DeathStar> <Jean> So why are you following me? Shouldn't you be avoiding me like Zeal and Thomas?
<Kaelan> "WE killed those people. I had a hand in it. I could no more avoid you then avoid myself."
<DeathStar> 6* Lenneth's words about all deaths would be Kaelan's hands if she didn't collar Jean drift into her mind from nowhere
<DeathStar> <Jean> I devoured Dahok's soul. To heal myself. 6* She states flatly.
* Kaelan pauses, she shakes her head. "...I could have stopped all of this Angel, by putting that collar on you."
<Kaelan> "Instead I gave it to you. This is as much my fault as it is yours."
<DeathStar> 6* Jean's fists tighten slightly, eyeing Kaelan. "And if you had, I would kill you." 6* She states
<Kaelan> "I think I proved I wouldn't have."
<DeathStar> <Jean> You loved that idiot and I destroyed his entire being to heal myself. Yet you'd still follow me.
<Kaelan> "It still doesn't change the fact that I made a choice."
<DeathStar> <Mercy> ...
* Kaelan peers at her. "...I don't know if you really did it, or he allowed it. What I know is it saved everyone in the end."
<Kit> <Zeal> Yet... I can't help Jean or ... anyone else. Not even myself.
* Kaelan sighs. "Dahok was the sort of man who would have given up his life to save others."
<DeathStar> <Jean> ... I wonder who is more twisted... 6* She murmurs, then peers away, looking ill, but not physically. "We need to reach the boat that Carly took for us. And get off this island. That man called Odin is after us."
<DeathStar> <Jean> ... once on the boat, I think I will be glad to give that naive idiot control for awhile... 6* She murmurs to herself, then hurries again
<Kaelan> "Can you feel her out?"
<Kaelan> * she rushes after Jean*
<Kaelan> * Seth just nods and moves on after Jean.
<DeathStar> <Thomas> ... Zeal. I do not mean to hurry you---but if you wish to stay with the others, we need to go now. If not, we can take our time to figure out our path.
<DeathStar> 6* Thomas brushes her chin, focused on her
<Kit> 6Nephilim drops back out of the brush, peering at Thomas and Zeal. 1"Yeah, I do mean to hurry you. We have to go."
<Kit> <Azhren> ..." 6He eyes Mercy. 1"Something to say?"
<DeathStar> 6* The 20 gold sparkles, neglected on the ground. Mercy hurries after them. <Mercy> Until you pick my new master, I will stay with them since they have a boat.
<DeathStar> 6* Thomas peers at Neph, then notices Rachael is gone
<Kit> 6Azhren stares, then chokes a laugh.
<Kit> <Nephilim> Zeal. Move it." 6She jerks her thumb. Zeal stares, peering at Thomas, then the ground, rising slowly.
<DeathStar> <Thomas> Lady Zeal..
<Kit> <Zeal> ..." 6She makes a move for the foliage, but drags Thomas' hand along with her.
<DeathStar> 6* Thomas lets her lead him. After a few hours of running, Jean reaches the edge of the beach, panting hard as she eyes the Templar ship and templars all around. She looks eastward. "The boat is somewhere that way. We can't reach it unless we swim."
<Kit> 6Nephilim crosses her arms, glancing after the two, then frowns, peering around for signs of Rachael.
<DeathStar> 6* Odin stands on the beach, arms crossed confidentally
<DeathStar> 6* Rachael drops down silently behind Jean, sword in hand
<Kaelan> "I can't swim..." *she says softly*
<DeathStar> <Jean> Then I suppose you will need to clear the Templars out
<Kaelan> Seth> "I got a hard lesson... I should manage. You just paddle your arms and legs."
<Kaelan> Seth> "She can hold onto my back."
<DeathStar> 6* Jean eyes Seth dubiously, then eyes the Templar. "You'd both drown."
<Kit> <Zeal> ..." 6She looks to Thomas. 1"I ... can swim."
<DeathStar> 6* Rachael is quiet, hand still on the sword and still behind Jean.
<DeathStar> <Rachael> I cannot. <Jean> Nor can I.
<Kaelan> Seth> "I guess we take the templar." *he looks at Rachael slowly*
<Kit> <Zeal> That man... h-he is like the one before..." 6She shivers.
<DeathStar> <Thomas> He won't be as strong, but he can use magic.
<DeathStar> <Jean> You have two Animas. Use them. 6* She notes.
<Kit> <Zeal> Not ... as strong?
<DeathStar> <Thomas> He is only a Top Tier Knight, not a God General.
* Kaelan pulls out Anima T, then holds out D, "Someone should still be able to use this?"
<DeathStar> <Thomas> Though he is likely to replace Cletus once the Arch Bishop learns of his death
<Kit> <Zeal> A Grand Templar-- those that hold magic..
<DeathStar> <Thomas> It would be ebst ot use the animas and head for the boat - they can walk in water, I imagine
<Kit> 6Zeal bites her lip, since she had sought to become one short of abandoning her unit and old comrades.
* Kaelan holds out D to Zeal.
<Kit> <Zeal> M-me?
<Kaelan> "You've been here the longest... I don't know how they fully work but we should be able to use them better then the others."
<Kit> <Zeal> I have never used one...
<Kaelan> "That was my first time just before, but I can't use D for a while now."
<Kit> 6Zeal gulps, eyeing the gauntlet.
<Kit> 6Arms grab Rachael around the waist.
<DeathStar> 6* Rachael jerks and twists to peer back
<Kit> 6Nephilim's face grins up at her.
<DeathStar> 6* Rachael eyes her, flustered and ehr sword clenched hard; suddenly, the ground knocks them all up, and away from each other, though Rach and Neph stay together
<Kit> <Nephilim> Er--uah!?
<DeathStar> 6* Templars leap out of the trees on either side of the past, all Magic Templars, emerge, and Odin peers from the beach
<DeathStar> <Odin> And now---destroy them
* Kaelan jerks, grumbling and holding onto D since Zeal never took it.
