<DeathStar> 6* After traveling about ten minutes, the group arrives outside a dark cave. Thomas holds a glowstone.
* Kaelan peers at the cave, frowning. She looks around for signs of monsters, perhaps remnants of their going in and out.
<DeathStar> 6* Tehre doesn't seem to be any
<DeathStar> 6* Faile looks about, running her hand along the dangling chain
<DeathStar> <Thomas> Hm. 6* He moves over to the cave, peering inside
* Kaelan moves with him, keeping her sword out. She has bad experiences involving caves.
<DeathStar> 6* Thomas shines the glowstone into the cave
* Kaelan peers into the darkness curiously.
<Kit> <Azhren> What are we looking for, exactly..?
<DeathStar> <Thomas> Food.
<DeathStar> <Thomas> Though I see no tracks to indicate animals.
<DeathStar> 6* Thomas peers into the cave, clearly hoping to find something else now
<Kit> <Azhren> ...Then what's the point?
<Kaelan> "Caves could mean moisture... water alone would be a saving grace..."
<Kaelan> "There could also be things like mushrooms and lichen. You can find food without animals if you try."
<DeathStar> 6* Thomas moves inside, holding the glowstone to shine the way, as Faile moves along to glance about, her head tilted to the side to study things
<Kit> <Azhren> Hm. So you did occasionally listen to your stuck-up friend.
<Kaelan> "Stuck up...?"
<DeathStar> 6* Faile glances at them talking, moving to one side of Kaelan
<Kit> <Azhren> Full of herself.
<DeathStar> 6* Thomas walks along ahead, not paying attention as he studies the cave with interest
<Kaelan> "Who're you talking about?"
<Kit> <Azhren> ...Lemon peel
<DeathStar> 6* Suddenly the light vanishes and Thomas can be heard making a startled noise
<Kaelan> "...Huh?" *she looks around* "Th-Thomas?"
<Kit> <Azhren> Thomas! Are you alright?! Say something!
<DeathStar> 6* There's no response, only darkness. Thankfully Thomas gave Azhren a glowstone
<Kaelan> "W-We need a light..." *she stands tense in the dark, she sounds a bit less confident then usual*
<Kit> 6Azhren snaps the stone to activate it and moves forward, looking around with a desperate glare in his eyes.
<DeathStar> 6* Azhren as he steps forward, would see a slant in the cave that leads downward into darkness
<Kit> <Azhren> Hm. Curious." 6He kneels, studying it, then shrugs hopping down onto it.
<Kaelan> "Did... he fall down?"
* Kaelan moves over to the slant and puts her sword away.
<DeathStar> 6* Faile shifts to slide down it carefully as well
* Kaelan slides down after them once her weapon is secure.
<DeathStar> 6* After sliding a few moments, they arrive at the bottom, where they can see Thomas' light. He's pushing themselves up, groaning
<Kit> <Azhren> Sir Thomas, how fare ye?
<DeathStar> <Thomas> Ungh...sorry. I wasn't paying attention. 6* He notes apologetically
* Kaelan gets up slowly. "Reminds me of the demon cave... though with far less bloody stench."
<DeathStar> <Thomas> Demon cave?
<DeathStar> 6* Thomas picks up his own light
<Kaelan> "Oh yes... early in our travels we came across a cave that had a demon in it... it bit Zeal and we had to kill it to save her."
<Kaelan> "It had a sliding slope too."
<DeathStar> <Thomas> W-Was Lady Zeal okay?>
<Kit> <Azhren> She was alive last I saw.
<Kaelan> "She was fine. Fought like a champion with us too."
<DeathStar> <Thomas> That---is true. 6* He looks embarrassed
<DeathStar> 6* Faile speaks finally. "I hear water."
* Kaelan giggles. "It's sweet you're so concerned."
<Kit> <Azhren> Perhaps they will marry soon and invite us." 6He says neutrally, and moves to Faile. 1"Where?" 6Without so much as transition
<DeathStar> 6* Faile points, and indeed, Azhren can hear what appears to be an underground stream
<Kaelan> "Think so?" *she leans over towards Thomas* "Going to ask for her hand?"
<DeathStar> 6* Thomas jerks, flustering. "I--I--"
<Kit> <Azhren> Thomas, do you have anything to hold water?
<DeathStar> <Thomas> Y-Yes! 6* He latches onto Azhren's line, pulling out a water sack he stole from the horses
<Kit> 6Azhren takes it from Thomas without a word and heads past Faile toward the water
* Kaelan giggles, she seems calmed again, her tone mischieveous.
<DeathStar> 6* Faile follows at about 4 steps behind Azhren; they arrive at an underground stream, where tracks of monster footprints can be seen, heading further in on the other side of it
<Kit> <Azhren> Well, well.
* Kaelan follows along, she pauses at the sign of tracks. "Mmm... perhaps we're in luck then."
<DeathStar> <Thomas> Indeed.
<DeathStar> 6* Faile moves across the stream with ease, getting wet a bit like men enjoy, and kneels to eye the tracks curiously
* Kaelan follows after her, she seems a little wary of the water as she moves along.
<DeathStar> 6* Thomas crosses, studying her. "Are you okay, Lady Kaelan?"
<Kit> <Azhren> ...Can you tack, lady Faile?
<Kaelan> "I... yeah I'm alright." *she smiles as she gets across* "I just have bad luck with water... a lot."
<DeathStar> <Faile> A little. 6* She notes, as if hiding something
<Kit> <Azhren> Then perhaps we will have food, after all.
<DeathStar> 6* Thomas nods, patting her shoulder, then begins to try to follow after the tracks with the others. Faile moves along
<DeathStar> 6* As they travel along, and go deeper into the cave, they would suddenly see the cave walls change into what appears to be a gray like ore material, much like ruins
<Kit> <Azhren> Hm..." 6He frowns at the walls.
* Kaelan frowns. "Interesting... I didn't see a dig site out here... could this be an undiscovered ruin?"
<DeathStar> 6* Faile sniffs once. "Well, the tracks lead into it, so they must be in there." 6* Thomas' eyes light up with interest
<DeathStar> <Thomas> It must have gone by unnoticed
<Kit> <Azhren> Are these not something you were investigating with the angel?
* Kaelan frowns a bit and nods. "I wonder... if Jean was supposed to come here..."
* Kaelan peers at Faile a bit nervously when Azhren says it like that.
<Kit> <Azhren> I am merely wondering if there is a point to coming into them without her.
<Kaelan> Kaelan> "We can still access Anima without her... if we can reach one. And there's other things to find in a ruin."
<Kit> <Azhren> A... nima..
<DeathStar> <Thomas> It won't hurt to look - we might even find the monsters
<DeathStar> 6* Thomas moves into what appears to be a hallway, tracks of dirt on the floor
<Kaelan> "Surely you remember the large ore created beasts we used at the island."
* Kaelan follows Thomas, keeping a wary hand on her sword handle.
<Kit> <Azhren> Mh..." 6He sighs, and follows Thomas since he is leading now
<DeathStar> 6* Thomas stops at what appears to be a doorway like opening ahead - which they can pass through; closed doors are on either side of the hallway
* Kaelan rubs her chin a bit and frowns, "Do we start looking? These usually seem to just be dead end rooms."
<DeathStar> 6* Thomas considers. "Monsters likely can't get in there, so they would be in the one ahead."
<Kit> <Azhren> Our priority should be our awareness-- and food.
<DeathStar> 6* Faile looks about the ruins, a look of slight wonder, having never seen such a thing before
* Kaelan nods slowly. "Perhaps we should check ahead first and then double back?"
<Kit> <Azhren> Fair enough.
<DeathStar> 6* Thomas peers at Azhren, then moves toward the door way slowly and carefully, shifting to stop and try to peer in slowly. "Hrn...more cave." 6* He notes.
<Kaelan> "So... this might be all the ruins? Odd isn't it?"
* Kaelan looks at the doors.
<DeathStar> 6* Thomas steps through the doorway and out of sight; Azhren's light the only source now
* Kaelan blinks and steps after him.
<Kit> <Azhren> Thomas, woman!" 6He grunts, moving to the doorway and remaining between rooms
<DeathStar> 6* The next part of the cave on the other side is narrower, and Thomas has to crouch here as he moves along, the cave level uneven and rocky. Thomas shifts along, a hand on his sword, then peers at what appears to be more ruins ahead, another hallway like structure
<DeathStar> <Thomas> I think there's more tracks in here 6* He notes
<DeathStar> 6* Faile stands with Azhren for the time being
* Kaelan looks around slowly for signs of tracks. "Could be..."
<Kit> <Azhren> ..." 6He gestures to Faile and continues inward with them
<DeathStar> 6* Faile follows along quietly, glancing about as she moves easily through the cave. Thomas enters the next part of the ruins, moving down the gray ore hallway. He stops a bit, eyeing several opened doorways
* Kaelan stops with him, she sticks close to Thomas now, she peers at the doorways too.
<Kit> 6Azhren looks unhappy as he practically stoops to crawl
<DeathStar> 6* Azhren, once back in the hallway, can stand again, thankfully for him
<DeathStar> 6* There's sounds up ahead, like chewing
* Kaelan wrinkles her nose a little as she pauses to listen, putting a hand on Thomas' shoulder.
<DeathStar> <Thomas> ... 6* He whispers. "The monsters."
* Kaelan whispers back, "Sounds like it."
<Kit> 6Azhren nods, trying to see if he can get a look without exposing his light
<DeathStar> 6* They seem to be in one of the rooms on the left; sadly, to see int othe dark room, would mean exposing his light
* Kaelan quietly undoes the catch on her sheath, putting a hand on her sheath and on the sword she took from the warden's guard.
<Kit> <Azhren> Hrmph. Thomas," 6He whispers. 1"I'm going to toss mine in and confront them. You make sure I can see."
<DeathStar> 6* Faile crouches without a weapon, but looks ready. Thomas nods back, getting his own sword out - it's not big but it gets the job done
* Kaelan silently draws her blade and stands ready by Thomas. She peers at Faile and motions to the other sword on her hip questioningly.
<Kit> 6Azhren also has a 'l33t armor guard' version sword that's not all that amazing, since his big ass one was confiscated. He nods to them, then tosses his glowstone into the room, reaching for it as he rushes in
<Kit> <Azhren> Rrrghhrraaa!
<DeathStar> 6* Sitting and chewing on human remains is five tigoar like creatures, only these have black fur, and glowing yellow eyes, and bone spikes coming from their shoulders and backs, and their paws more claw like than anything, and their faces almost beak like with razor teeth. They howl at the sudden light from the glowstone, momentarily stunned, than more so at the roar.
<DeathStar> 6* Thomas moves in after him, the glowstone in one hand to provide light, the sword in the other; and Faile moves in without her weapon, almost recklessly so
* Kaelan moves in after them, she frowns and moves at one of the stunned beasts, swinging her blade horizontally out, aiming at it's neck, attempting to cut it's head off.
* Kaelan keeps to an edge, not running into the center of the group, of course.
<Kit> 6Azhren charges in like a barbarian raging and goes to hack at the closest he can get to, and keeps trying to press the attack to the next whether it's a single blow or not
<DeathStar> 6* The monster shifts it's shoulders so her sword hits the bone and does no damage. Azhren's attack hits bone as well, the shoulder bones and back bones protecting it. The monsters growl and get to their feet
<DeathStar> 6* One monster swipes it's clawed paws from Kaelan's stomach, aiming to gut her
<Kit> 6Azhren's smashes his fist and swordhilt into the monster's face as it rises having stopped his sword
* Kaelan hops backwards out of it's way, back towards the way they came to avoid other monster claws, she brings her sword around and down in a chop at the swiping claw as she does.
<DeathStar> 6* The monster howls in rage as it's beak is it and recoils back away from Azhren; another leaps at him from the side, trying to land on him from the right angle
<DeathStar> 6* The monster's claw is out of range by the time she tries, and the monster growls fiercefully, only to get hit in the face by a chain. Faile moves in, twirling her body so the chain hits two more monsters' faces, stunning them
<Kit> 6Azhren shifts his weight and goes for an almighty roundhouse kick at the one leaping at him, trying to draw his sword back to prepare for another attack or in need of defending
<DeathStar> 6* Azhren kicks the monster into some remains of items from the ruins and it yelps, impaled on something metallic
<DeathStar> 6* Another one rushes at Azhren, beak open to bite at his nuts
* Kaelan reaches in wit a single step, keeping her position ready to dance back again if nessecary, she thrusts her blade, aiming the point of steel at one of the monster's eyes.

<DeathStar> 6* Kaelan impales the monster's face and it yelps, twitching in death throes
<Kit> 6Azhren turns his sword flat-wise and uses it to club the monster down toward the floor and move around, eyeing what impaled the monster and seeing if it's something he can lift
<DeathStar> 6* It appears to be sharp edges of something that's almost table like, and could be lifted if he pulls the one dead monster off
<DeathStar> 6* Faile uses her chain to stun another monster as it charges at her, it's back to Kaelan
<Kit> 6Azhren grabs the monster by its neck and yanks it off, hurtling towards one undoubtedly trying to eat the unmentioned Thomas
<DeathStar> 6* Thomas is off to the side, using the glowstone to keep monsters at bay, and seems fine; he doesn't move in since the room isn't that large and he doesn't want to impede others
* Kaelan moves after it quickly, searching for a part of it's back not covered in bone and spike. She thrusts her weapon swiftly, aiming at it's neck if an opening allows, anywhere else if not.
<Kit> 6Azhren picks up the table or whatnot, and lets out another snarl, charging the one near Faile
<DeathStar> 6* The monster howls as Kaelan shoves her sword up it's ass, twitching as blood and crap falls out of it, then it falls forward, dead.
<DeathStar> 6* The remaining two monsters advance on Faile, who uses her chain to keep them back
<Kit> <Azhren> ..." 6He slows 1"How brutal."
* Kaelan pulls it out and grimaces. "Never expose your rear end to an enemy." *she moves in on one of the beasts on Faile, attempting to flank it while it's occupied*
<DeathStar> 6* Faile twirls, using her chain to smack their faces and anger them, keep them off balance. They tense, preparing to rush her
* Kaelan leaps in on one of them, raising her blade and slashing downwards horizontally from it's side, attmpting to slice off it's head again, aiming for neck and not bone while it's focused on Faile.
<Kit> 6Azhren shifts to raise the table and then brings it down over one of them, trying to stab and/or crush it
<DeathStar> 6* It's bones protect it's neck quite well
<DeathStar> 6* The monster is hit by the table, it's bones protecting it for the most part, but it impacts against the floor with a whine. Faile moves in, wrapping her chain around it's beak, then twists it brutally with her weight, making it bend awkwradly. The monster yelps
* Kaelan just attempts a slash at it's head then. Putting her strength into it.
<DeathStar> 6* The monster turns toward Kaelan after it hits it's bone again, and jerks back to avoid the slash
<DeathStar> 6* It then leaps at Kaelan
* Kaelan leaps to one side as it leaps at her, swinging her blade horizontally along the positon she occupied as she does.
<Kit> 6Azhren shifts to give Faile a hand with pulling on the chain
<DeathStar> 6* The monster howls as Kaelan cuts it's face, and it snarls at her, leaping and knocking her back into a wall
<DeathStar> 6* It then bites at her left shoulder
<DeathStar> 6* The monster yelps, and finally it's neck cracks a bit; though it lives, it no longer seems able to move, and Azhren can easily kill it
<DeathStar> 6* Thomas moves in now, stabbing at the monster's legs as it targets Kaelan, slicing the back two off
<DeathStar> 6* As it yelps, it falls toward the ground, stomach exposed
<Kit> 6Azhren eyes it then charges the one attacking Kaelan. 1"Duck, woman!"
* Kaelan yelps as she hits the wall and brings her blade up, attempting to block the bite. As Thomas knocks it down, she brings the blade around to slice at it's stomach.
<Kit> 6Azhren brings the table over his head and plants it down with Kaelan's sword
<DeathStar> 6* The monster's guts fall out on Kaelan's feet and legs and it lays there, then gets tabled and dies. 20 gold appears on each monster - 100 total.
* Kaelan pushes it away and sniffs, she puts her weapon away and collects the gold, securing it in a cloth and tucking it into her armor.
<Kit> 6Azhren nods, satisfied. 1"We can load them onto this... table. And carry them back."
<DeathStar> <Thomas> Good idea. I'll look at the other rooms real quick while you handle that. 6* He steps out, leaving Azhren's glowstone where he can get it
<Kaelan> "I'll divy the gold later on. Poor Faile doesn't seem to have anywhere to put it right now." *she looks at Thomas as he goes* "Need company?"
<Kit> 6Azhren wipes his blade off on one of the less bloody monsters, then takes the stone in his teeth and sets about moving the monsters into a messy pile on the table
<DeathStar> 6* Faile eyes her
<Kit> <Azhren> Forgive her. That woman's humor is worse than mine.
<DeathStar> 6* Thomas has already stepped out and cannot answer.
* Kaelan wasn't being sarcastic at all. "Humor...?"
<DeathStar> <Faile> ... 6* She pulls out rocks from seemingly nowhere, enough to injure someone, then eyes Kaelan without words
<Kit> <Azhren> Her brain also malfunctions." 6He taps his eye, as if gesturing to Kaelan's being a sign of that.
<Kaelan> "I... didn't mean anything ill by my statement..." *she looks mollified*
<DeathStar> 6* Faile looks around the ruins again, ignoring Kaelan as she studies the area
<Kaelan> "Sorry Faile." *she sighs and moves to the door, peeking around for Thomas' light*
<DeathStar> 6* Thomas' light is gone, and only darkness lays in front of her. He must have gone in one of the rooms - alone. Probably in danger
<Kaelan> "Thomas?" *she calls out a bit*
<DeathStar> 6* No response
<Kaelan> "Azhren? We should check on Thomas."
<Kit> <Azhren> He announced his attentions. He is not a child, woman.
* Kaelan peers back at him. "Why do you keep addressing me like that?"
<Kit> 6Azhren moves to help Faile examine things with the light
<DeathStar> <Faile> So these are what diggers seek out
* Kaelan moves over to get a look.
<Kit> <Azhren> So it seems.
<DeathStar> 6* Faile looks over broken items that look like chairs and table, mangled and bent
<Kaelan> Kaelan> "Often they have much bigger pursuits, artifacts and machines the ancient ones left behind."
<DeathStar> 6* There's a slight rumble in the ruins
<Kaelan> Kaelan> "It's why the Church takes such heavy control over dig sites."
<Kit> <Azhren> I don't like this place.
<Kit> 6Azhren glances toward the sound.
* Kaelan blinks and looks around. "Th-Thomas really could be in trouble."
<DeathStar> 6* Faile peers about, blinking. "Is that normal?"
<Kaelan> Kaelan> "Only when we're with Jean... so... yes. But that's still not a good thing." *she moves back towards the doorway* "Come on, we need to find Thomas."
<Kit> <Azhren> Fine." 6He sighs, moving to the doorway with narrowed eyes.
<DeathStar> 6* Azhren would feel slight rumblings coming from the end of the hallway to the left
<Kit> 6Azhren makes for the left, frowning now and picking up pace
* Kaelan follows after him.
<DeathStar> 6* Faile moves behind them, and as they pass the doorway, they would see a large chamber - up ahead, they can see Thomas' light, but between them and him, there appears to be holes in the ground where things have fallen through the ground, and dirt can be seen tingling from above
<Kaelan> "Thomas!" *she calls out, frowning as she looks over the scene* "Right... we'll have to move together and be careful of those holes..."
<DeathStar> 6* At the far end, they can see Thomas in front of a pedastal with some object on it.
<DeathStar> 6* Thomas peers back. "I think I activated some sort of trap!"
<Kit> 6Azhren kneels, peering and shining the light to see if there's anything supporting what's left of the floor before he takes Kaelan's advice on holes
<DeathStar> 6* Indeed, as he says that, more ground breaks open - leaving narrow pathways across the room.
<Kaelan> "Another gem...? Maybe?" *she blinks and looks to Azhren, then Thomas* "W-We'll come to you!"
<DeathStar> 6* Below, in the darkness, they can see what appears to be a pit of spikes, though some of the ground seems solid, a pillar of earth that goes up - narrow, however, probably explaining why some of the floor isn't falling
<DeathStar> <Thomas> It's quite dangerous!
* Kaelan peers over. "Think it can support our weight...?"
<Kit> <Azhren> Only in that narrow foothold of the center.
<DeathStar> 6* Faile eyes the path dubiously - one wrong step and a person woudl lose their balance
<Kaelan> "Thomas... do you think you could get back here?"
<Kit> <Azhren> Going to him is pointless. It only creates more bodies to make it back across.
* Kaelan nods in agreement.
<Kit> <Azhren> Unfortunately when standing on it, you can't see what's beneath. We'll need to coach him, probably.
* Kaelan looks over to Thomas again. She bites her lip worriedly.
<DeathStar> 6* Thomas turns to focus on whatever is front of him
<Kaelan> Thomas? What is it? It's not another one of those gems is it?"
<Kit> <Azhren> Is there something there!?
<DeathStar> <Thomas> Some sort of amulet!
<Kit> <Azhren> You already sprung the trap. Take it.
<Kaelan> It might be dangerous... come ba---" *she eyes Azhren*
<DeathStar> 6* Thomas nods, focuisng on grabbing it. At that moment, the pillar shakes and begins to collapse - the ground above begins to fall in around Thomas and he jerks, turning to run back for them
<DeathStar> 6* Though at his speed, crossing the narrow pathway will likely end in death
<Kaelan> "THOMAS! CAREFUL!"
<Kit> 6Azhren drops to his knee. 1"Thomas, calm down and focus on what's falling. Don't dodge left or right, time it. We will guide you across via the supports."
<DeathStar> 6* Faile peers up and about, frowning. Thomas vanishes from sight as a large pillar crashes down in front of him, thn reppears as it leaves a hole
* Kaelan shakes a bit, she frowns. "There's a hole in front of you now!"
<Kit> <Azhren> There's no support on either side. You will have to jump.
<DeathStar> 6* Thomas pauses, then tenses and leaps across and lands on the narrow path
<Kaelan> "Alright, keep moving carefully. One step at a time."
<Kit> <Azhren> Good. Steady yourself and move toward me-- straight.
<DeathStar> 6* Thomas swallows, then does so as best he can
* Kaelan watches, heart in her throat, afraid for Thomas but she tries not to show it.
<DeathStar> 6* Anotehr pillar begins to loosen above, ready to take out a large chunk of necessary walkway
<Kit> <Azhren> ...Run! RUN NOW!
<Kit> <Azhren> As soon as you think you can make it to me-- jump!
<DeathStar> 6* Thomas tenses ,then begins to run as best he can
<DeathStar> 6* Faile eyes as the pillar begins to fall, and Thomas leaps out, his hand dropping his glowstone, while the other holds onto the amulet, and reaches out with his freehand
* Kaelan rushes forward to grab for Thomas' hand as he gets close.
<Kit> 6Azhren leans foward, grasping for Thomas' outstretched hand/arm
<DeathStar> 6* Kaelan grabs it, and right as she's about to get pulled down by his weight, Azhren grabs his arm and stops the pull. He dangles with them both holding on
<DeathStar> 6* Faile eyes the ceiling, looking a bit worried as she chews her lip
<Kit> 6Azhren yanks him onto solid ground
<Kit> <Azhren> Let's get out of here.
* Kaelan pulls as well to get Thomas up as Azhren pulls her.
<Kit> <Azhren> Thomas?
<DeathStar> 6* Thomas nods, breathing deeply
<DeathStar> <Thomas> Right, thanks. 6* He takes Azhren's glowstone and leads the way
<Kit> 6Azhren nods, looking to Kaelan and Faile.
* Kaelan follows Thomas, she nods to Azhren.
<DeathStar> 6* Faile moves after Azhren
<Kaelan> "I'm glad you're okay Thomas... you should be more careful though... I don't want to have to tell Zeal I lost you."
<DeathStar> <Thomas> I--- apologize.
<Kaelan> "It's alright... you're alright. Just be more careful in the future." *she smiles softly*
<DeathStar> 6* Thomas stops where the dead monsters are, shining the light in for Azhren. The ruins seem to have settled down now
<Kaelan> "Let's get this food up to our hungry tribe of Pariah followers."
<Kit> 6Azhren moves over to grab one end, but sadly lacking another hand, eyes Thomas. 1"Hand the light off to the chatty woman and give me a hand.
<Kaelan> "My name is Kaelan!"
<DeathStar> 6* Thomas nods, shifting to hand the glowstone to the woman, then moves over to the table and having to use both hands to lift one end
<Kit> <Azhren> Quickly. We do not wish to tire our scholar too much.
<DeathStar> 6* Faile peers at Kaelan to lead the way, as Thomas strains
* Kaelan starts leading the way, carrying the glowstone.
<DeathStar> 6* Faile waits to go behind the two men as they move out into the hallway, to watch their bac
<Kit> 6Azhren tries to take most of the weight as they move along with the 'feast.'
<DeathStar> 6* They soon reach the spot they have to crouch to move on
* Kaelan make her way back, she crouches down keeping the light out, and a wary ear for sounds of more monsters.
<Kit> 6Azhren mutters, crawling and pushing it ahead of himself.
<DeathStar> 6* Thomas helps as best he can, comically tripping and whatnot
<DeathStar> 6* After a long journey, they manage to reach the camp
<DeathStar> 6* The prisonsers, around the fires, cheer and move to get the monsters to took, slapping Azhren's back, and one comments on the ass slaughter of one
* Kaelan looks about as they reach the camp, she grins a bit. "It had it coming."
<Kit> <Azhren> The woman did that. Careful what you say to her." 6He jerks his thumb to Kaelan
<DeathStar> 6* They eye her, and step back from her crazy dead eye
<Kaelan> "Why can't you say my name?" *she frowns, then looks at them, she blinks a bit* "What?"
<DeathStar> 6* The warden sits in his barred prison, looking naked and upset. Faile moves and plops down away from everyone else
<DeathStar> 6* Thomas eyes the amulet, with a brown like gem in the middle of it
<DeathStar> 6* Some prisoners eye it, then him, as if debating taking it while he sleeps
<Kaelan> * Seth gets up, groaning a bit. "So you're all back in one piece, good."
* Kaelan moves over to Thomas, she peers at it. "It looks kind of pretty... suppose it's just a trinket?"
<Kit> <Azhren> Never found something like that before?
<DeathStar> <Thomas> If it's a trinket, it had a lot of defenses on it
<DeathStar> <Thomas> And no, I haven't, Sir Azhren
* Kaelan reaches out and gently feels at the gem. "Doesn't seem all that special though..."
<DeathStar> 6* Thomas hmms in thought. "I'll study it as we travel; it may have secrets we yet to discren
* Kaelan nods. "Alright. Keep it close though."
<Kit> <Azhren> Perhaps you put it on?
<Kaelan> * Seth peers at them all and scratches his head with his good hand. "We all good then? Got grub, a shiney new toy and freedom on the horizon."
<DeathStar> 6* Thomas thinks, then puts it on slowly
<DeathStar> 6* He pauses, when nothing happens, then shrugs. "Well, at least it will be harder to lose around my neck."
<Kaelan> "Too true." *she absently goes to feel for her locket, frowning when she doesn't find it there* "Too true..."

<DeathStar> 6* Thomas kneels and peers out at the dock where a cargo ship is at, studying it. The prisoners are restless, ready to charge it and slaughter the crew
<Kit> <Azhren> Ideas? I'm not a seafaring knight.
* Kaelan frowns a bit, looking it over. "We'll have to move fast, if they launch into the water before we can get aboard..."
<Kaelan> Seth> "We can hope some of these prisoners used to be pirates?"
<DeathStar> <Thomas> What about the prisoners?
<Kaelan> "We're never going to operate a ship on our own, maybe if we had D..." *she goes quiet*
<DeathStar> 6* Faile eyes a group of 20 prisoners charging ahead without waiting.
<Kaelan> "Guess that's our signal." *she chokes out, getting her blade ready*
<Kit> <Azhren> I'm... not that fast. But okay." 6He rises.
<DeathStar> 6* Thomas grimaces, and gets to his feet, moving forward. Faile gets up and moves after them. The people on the ship don't seem to realize what's happening at first, then make startled noises as the prisoners get in close. They try to rush back onto the ship
<Kaelan> * Seth grumbles. "I'll ummm... guard your rears."
* Kaelan moves after Thomas, Seth moves last behind the others due to his war wounds.
<DeathStar> 6* The prisoners, for their part, are pretty quick; the other two join in, and the first two clamor up the ship plank before it can be removed, leaping on sailors and stabbing them. The poor warden is circled by a few prisoners who stayed behind, and his screams are heard
<Kit> <Azhren> Tch..." 6He looks bothered, eyeing back, and forward, slowing down some. 1"..."
<Kaelan> Seth> "That's it lads! Put the plank back!"
<Kaelan> Kaelan> "Sir Azhren?"
<DeathStar> 6* Thomas curses as the prisoners swarm the ship, attacking the crew.
<Kaelan> * Seth frowns deeply, gripping his sword tight in his good hand.
<Kit> <Azhren> My soul is growing heavy.
<DeathStar> 6* Suddenly, some ground lifts up from under those near Thomas, and they're launched into the air nad land roughly on the deck. Thomas groans, while Faile looks bewildered. The prisoners stop to stare
<Kaelan> Kaelan> "I know the feeling." *she says listlessly, then cries out as she's launched up*
<Kit> <Azhren> What in Tar--egh!!
<Kaelan> * Seth groans as he lands, "Bloody magic... oh crap... magic."
<Kit> <Azhren> ...On the ship... what the hell?" 6He glances around.
<DeathStar> 6* The crew runs to hide on one side, holding a few swords and looking frightened. The prisoners back away to another side, eyeing the group warily
* Kaelan looks around in confusion, holding her blade defensively as she rises a little. "Templars?"
<DeathStar> 6* Thomas sits up, then looks relieved at the killing stoppin
<DeathStar> <Thomas> I don't know, but we should get this ship moving.
<Kaelan> Seth> "Agreed." *he has a hint of relief in his voice, even if his look still seems slightly mad*
<Kit> 6Azhren gets up in pain, but composes himself. 1"No one harms the crew any farther."
* Kaelan looks about a moment to see what they need to do to get the ship moving, trying to remember Dahok's sailor ramblings and what the crew of the last ship did.
<Kit> <Azhren> Understand!?" 6He roars.
<DeathStar> 6* The prisoners jerk, then nod in obedience.
<DeathStar> 6* A few move to get the plank set up to let other prisoners onboard, who have gathered on the edge, wearing pieces of the warden
<Kit> <Azhren> They are not wardens or gaurds. They are honest seafarers making their living, such as we. Bring the food and supplies on board. From now on, we are a crew as a whole.
<Kaelan> * Seth grins a little and play punches Azhren's arm. "You tell em' Alpha Wolfbark."
<DeathStar> 6* The prisoners nod in obedience, moving to listen to him; Faile watches Azhren quietly
<DeathStar> 6* The prisoners get the food and water onboard, and confistance what supplies was put on the dock back on the ship; they seem pleased at non-rotting food. The sailors, for their part, obey readily after seeing what happened to their friends, and get the ship ready to go
<Kit> 6Azhren turns to eye Seth, his eyes twitching more than before. 1"Call me that again."
<Kaelan> Seth> "I meant it in jest." *he smiles broadly, not looking very afraid despite his condition*
<Kaelan> Kaelan> "Both of you. Stop."
<Kit> <Azhren> I don't like your humor. Save it for others, or you'll be swimming.
<DeathStar> 6* Thomas frowns at the bickering, but stays out of it, looking toward the ocean with relief at being able to get closer
<Kaelan> Kaelan> "Azhren."
<Kaelan> * Seth just puts up his hand and backs away.
<DeathStar> 6* The ship finally starts moving forward again, toward the Navarro mainland. The prisoners for their part behave, not scaring the sailors too much
<DeathStar> 6* The sailors, for their part, comment that Kaelan is bad luck and they'll all die by the kraken
* Kaelan sighs and frowns, eyeing them. "Last time I was on a boat, we killed two kraken, then ate them for dinner."
<DeathStar> 6* That doesn't seem to make them feel better, and they bemoan that a kraken will definitely attack now
<Kit> 6Azhren snorts, then moves to the bow of the ship, leaning on its edge and staring outward
* Kaelan groans a little. "Look... are any of your people hurt? I mean the surviving ones." *she puts in softly*
<DeathStar> 6* They don't respond, staying away from KAelan as best they can.
* Kaelan sighs and moves over to Thomas quietly. "...Soon as I'm able... I'm going to find a decent eyepatch."
<DeathStar> 6* Thomas pats Kaelan on the shoulder, offering a smile, then peers out
