01<@DeathStar> 6* The guaridans in the room move over with a shot next to Vodka. "This will help her." 6* Leira eyes her suspiciously, wondering if she may be infected and trying to kill Vodka. After all, the rest of the team went to talk with the leaders in the hope to be allowed to scan and treat them, but Cheryl has that equipment, not them

<Kulix> *Nadia opens her eyes slowly, trying to sit up, she hisses in pain, clutching her wound*

<Seraphna> * Peter moves his hand over her chest, gently holding her down. "Don't move darlin, you're hurt bad."

<Kulix> <Nadia> P-peter.. *She blushes at him as he moves to hold her down, wincing slightly as she lays back. She turns her head, scanning over the room* Where... where are we?
01<@DeathStar> 6* The guardian peers down at Vodka, and nods, eyeing Key. "You weren't healing her, but she wasn't dying either. I would be very interested to know how you were preserving her life after this." 6* She puts the needle into Vodka's arm and begins to push the fluid in

<Seraphna> Tabetha> "W--" *she frowns, watching tensely*
<Seraphna> * Peter looks down at her and smiles. "Guardian colony, we got through... but you took a nasty bump dear. They've been patchin you up, but you need rest."
01<@DeathStar> 6* The Guardian removes the needle, then takes out something and opens Vodka's mouth, sprinkling some white stuff in, then closes her mouth until she's sure Vodka's swallowed it, rubbing her throat to help her

<Seraphna> Tabetha> "What is that stuff now?" *she leans over curious*
01<@DeathStar> <Guardian> It is something to help stir the natural healing abilities a guardian has; even if she hasn't learned it yet, that will force her body to do it for a few hours.
<Seraphna> Tabetha> "Ah... I wonder if she has... my own is... pretty strong." *she frowns, as if wondering if that would have helped anything*
<Kulix> *Nadia nods slowly* .. Is everyone alright?
<Seraphna> Peter> "Vodka took a nastey blow, someone's workin on her right now."
<Kulix> *She makes a pained expression* Is there anything to drink.. I feel dehydrated.. *She turns her head, reaching for a table to prop herself up. she winces, seemingly determined to sit up*
01<@DeathStar> 6* At the other part of the base, at the same time as this, the rest of the team is in a circular room with various guardians who actually have some white in their hair, speaking of their age. "And you have proof of this, my child?" 6* One asks Cheryl after she tells him about the infection. Chii can feel her annoyance at 'child'
01<@DeathStar> 6* And muttering mentally that they can't know she's only about 18
<Seraphna> * Peter keeps her down. "No movin, I said."
<Seraphna> * Peter looks around for some water.
01<@DeathStar> 6* John slides a tray of water over, winking at Nadia, then looks at Vodka. The Guardian peers at Key. "You can resume touching her if you want, but right now only she can heal herself."
<Seraphna> Tabetha> "Isn't there anything else that can be done?" *she bites her lower lip*
<Seraphna> * Peter pours Nadia some water and props her head up gently to give her some.

<Seraphna> Tabetha> "She doesn't have a pilot... if she were bonded... would that have helped?" *she looks at Vodka worriedly now*

<Kulix> *She drinks it thirstily, coughing slightly as she lays her head back, wiping her mouth* agh.. I cant believe this. I cant stay in this bed, we've got work to do... *She closes her eyes, placing her forarm over her head to cover them as she groans with a headache*

<Kulix> <Nadia> Is everyone alright..? *she slides her arm down, glancing about the room* Is Vodka going to make it?

<Seraphna> Peter> "And you're gonna stay in that bed until they say you;'re better, Nadia. You almost died."
01<@DeathStar> 6* As Key is touching her, her perceptive nature would notice one of the other guardians in the room, not talking and staying over by the terminal, seems to be receiving messages - as if talking in a chat.. The Guardian's expression is very blank
01<@DeathStar> <Guardian Elder with Cheryl's Part of the Group> Very well. Scan us. 6* Cheryl nods, taking it and stepping up, beginning to scan the room

01<@DeathStar> 6* Leira nods at Key and shifts to stretch, moving casually near Nadia - her hands begin to wander up Nadia's body, as if she were feeling her up, but though she is glancing down at Nadia, she's actually peering over
<Seraphna> * Tabetha leans over and hugs John a bit. "Vodka's gonna be okay, right?"

01<@DeathStar> 6* Leira jerks, formiong her hand guns as she aims at the other Guardian. "Freeze!" 6* The one treating Vodka jerks, peering at Leira wide-eyed. The one at the terminal looks over, then quickly forms a giant bomb

<Seraphna> Tabetha> "Weapon manifestation in the form of an explosive... it will need removal."
<Kit> 6Eluere jerks, then peers at the explosive, looking for any exposed trigger
01<@DeathStar> 6* Leira fires at the Guardian's back immediately, trying to kill them before they detonate. Her hand trembles a bit
01<@DeathStar> 6* Eluere is with Cheryl's group
<Seraphna> * Peters hand is on his rifle already, he pulls it up and fires it at the guardian's back as well.
01<@DeathStar> 6* Alarms go off throughout the building at the fire, and one elder with Cheryl's group rises, forming a weapon and swings it at Cheryl's head. "They have deceived us!" 6* At that moment, Cheryl is eyeing her scanner, which is aimed at the attacking Guardian elder. "He's infected!" 6* She notes
<Seraphna> * Tabetha forms a gun in her hand, and raises it swiftly.
01<@DeathStar> 6* The guardian grunts as the shots strike their back and the bomb vanishes as it falls over, bleeding. LEira's guns vanish and she falls to her knees, staring
<Kulix> *Nadia stares, gritting her teeth, clutching the side of the bed, unsure of where this is leading, but she prepares herself to flip the bed to the floor for cover if necessary.*
<Seraphna> Peter> "Zeph? What's wrong?"
<Seraphna> * Tabetha keeps her gun trained on the fallen one in case it's a deception.
01<@DeathStar> 6* The guardian that was healing stares at the bomb, wide eyed, then at the team, unsure and afraid; security guardians enter the medical bay, with weapons formed, ordering them to stand down
<Kulix> *Nadia gasps, and sighs, shaking her head. She grits her teeth angrily.. how could this happen to her?*
<Seraphna> * Tabetha looks over slowly and dismisses her gun. Peter puts his rifle down.
01<@DeathStar> <Leira> I --- killed him...but if I didn't the bomb might...have gone off. 6* She puts her hands to her face, not even glacing at the entering guardians. John holds up his hands
<Seraphna> Peter> "Alright, let's relax, the fella formed a bomb in the middle of a hospital room."
<Kit> <Key> Zephyr... not kill before.
01<@DeathStar> 6* The guardians look antsy and charge their weapons, but the Guardian woman treating Vodka speaks up. "T-They're telling the truth. Give me a moment to sort this out." 6* She says, and they're forced to stop; she moves to the terminal
01<@DeathStar> 6* Since neither Chii or Eluere protects Cheryl from the attacking elder, the weapon strikes her head, blood spraying about from the wound as Cheryl goes down.
<Seraphna> * Peter stares at them increduously for starting to charge weapons when everyone dropped theirs. "Nadia, stay still."
01<@DeathStar> 6* The nurse guardian looks over. "S-Someone was telling them to kill the team."
<Seraphna> Tabetha> "...May I see that console?"
01<@DeathStar> 6* She nods and the guardians in the medical room have their weapons vanihs
<Kulix> *Nadia begins to hyperventilate, watching all of this. She stays perfectly still despite her broken breaths, but Peter can tell she's in more pain from being helpless than the physical pain of her body*
01<@DeathStar> 6* Cheryl goes down in a bloody mess and Curali jerks, forming her tonfas as the elder leaps at her next
01<@DeathStar> 6* His weapon seems to be a scythe. The other elders stare, as if in shock
<Seraphna> * Tabetha moves over and looks it over, then pulls out her own datapad and starts working on a trace to see who was giving orders.
<Kit> <Eluere> Curali!!
<Kit> <Eluere> Don't use the blades, just knock him out!
01<@DeathStar> 6* Curali holds up her tonfas, the elder moving lightning fast, and the clang is heard; she falls backwardsd, wincing, but her tonfas don't vanish, to the elder's surprise, his strength apparant
<Kit> 6Chii gawks, her hands shivering as she kneels by Cheryl.
01<@DeathStar> 6* IT seems the cut went along the back of her head and neck, trying to server her head completely; it didn't happen, somehow Cheryl moving it desdpite not seeing the attack coming in, but she's bleeding out rapidly
<Seraphna> * Peter leans over, stroking her hair gently. "Calm down love, we're safe for the moment."
01<@DeathStar> 6* One of the other elders rises. "Stop this, Zackideus!" 6* Zackideus swings the sycthe at Eluere now, aiming for her stomach in ah orizontal strike
01<@DeathStar> 6* As Tabetha hooks up, the system suddenly defrags itself and blinks off, smoke rising
<Seraphna> * Tabetha frowns. "They're covering their tracks. Logic bomb probably..."
01<@DeathStar> 6* One of the security in the medical bay touches his comm. "There's fighting in the elder chamber. Lets go people." 6* Five of the six guaridans leave now, with one staying to keep an eye on the team
<Seraphna> * Tabetha puts her datapad back into subspace, she frowns. "I would like to go with them to assist."
<Kit> 6Chii quickly forms several seals with her hands, then puts her fingers to the edge of the wound and flicks her hand across the gash as she emits a spark of flame. 1"Katon!"
01<@DeathStar> 6* John jerks, then moves to follow, while Leira eyes the dead body of the one guardian
<Kit> <Key> John!
<Seraphna> * Tabetha heads after them with John.
<Seraphna> * Peter grabs a spare sheet and moves over to lay it over the guardian.
01<@DeathStar> 6* Eluere's stomach is cut by the scythe, while Curali jerks forward. "Eluere!!" 6* She throws a tonfa into the elder's face to distract him from spilling eLuere's guts
<Seraphna> Peter> "Key, help Zephyr."
<Kit> 6Eluere jerks, retreating slightly and summons her swallow sword as a reflect to try and parry--- never mind
<Kulix> <Nadia> Its not us I'm worried about... *She says, watching the chaos take place.. she grimaces, looking at Cheryl as she lies there bleeding* Peter.. *She moves to stand slowly, grunting* Someone.. should help the General...
<Kit> <Key> I leave Vodka die.
01<@DeathStar> 6* Cheryl isn't near Nadia. *sigh*
<Seraphna> Peter> "Vodka, stay down, now." *he looks back at her*
01<@DeathStar> 6* Vodka is unconscious and being helped by Key.
<Kit> 6Key makes faces, looking to Leira guiltily.
<Seraphna> * Peter nods to Key and moves over to Zephyr, he moves in front of her and kneels down. "Come on kiddo... you need to be here and now till this is over, alright?"
01<@DeathStar> 6* The elders finally begin to move, trying to restrain Zackideus, but they don't bring out their weapons; the guardian twists, cutting into one.
01<@DeathStar> 6* Leira looks up. "I---I'll ... I want to stay by Key..."
<Seraphna> Peter> "Then go over to her and support her, don't dwell on this. Key needs your belief."
<Kit> <Eluere> A-A-... Are you mad..!? He's using a weapon!!" 6She stammers to the other elders, her eyes widening as one's sliced, and peers down at her own start of a gash in shock
01<@DeathStar> 6* Leira nods, shakily getting up and moving over to Key and hugs onto her
<Kit> <Key> No, Key need Zephyr happy thoughts.
01<@DeathStar> 6* Curali rushes at the elder now, with her one weapon, and she swings it at him, cracking his head. Zack turns and cuts down at her in the lightning speed he's been using
<Seraphna> * Peter lays the fallen guardian to rest and fixes the sheet, then moves over to Nadia.
01<@DeathStar> 6* Leira lets out a breath, then focuses on sex with Key as happy thoughts
<Kit> <Eluere> L-LEFT!
<Kit> 6Key jerks, blinking
<Kulix> *Nadia clutches her stomach, standing slowly, whincing a bit as she gets to her feet*
01<@DeathStar> 6* Cheryl groans a bit as her wound is sealed. Curali throws herself left, avoiding being killed, when John and Tabetha arrive with the guardians, wh ostare in shock at Zackideus attacking everyone
<Seraphna> * Peter moves over and grabs her shoulders, slowly setting her back down. "Nadia, you're making it worse. Lay back down."
<Kit> 6Eluere panics, looking about, then eyes the terminals about and tries to interface with them, neurologically demanding it display emergency systems to her-- equivalents of sprinklers, riot guards anything
<Seraphna> * Tabetha forms both guns and locks onto Zackideus. "Disable him!"
01<@DeathStar> 6* The elders finally reluctantly form their weapons. However, they keep telling Zackideus to stand down, and he slashes another's face in response, his eyes insane
<Seraphna> * Tabetha reacts to the face slash by taking a shot from each gun at the man's legs.
01<@DeathStar> 6* Various systems pop up, including force fields that can be applied to areas of the room to keep people from hurting the elders
<Kit> <Eluere> ... O-OH! Shove him to the left! Hurry!
01<@DeathStar> 6* Zackideus is shot and he turns to eye Tabetha, then hurls his scythe at her; it transforms into five smaller scythes that fly at her
01<@DeathStar> <John> Look at! 6* He pulls her to the left
01<@DeathStar> 6* Curali twists, using her legs to trip Zackideus to the left
<Seraphna> * Tabetha eeps and moves with John's pull, pushing them both further out of the weapon path if possible.
<Kit> 6Eluere activates one of the shields for the elders if he actually falls that direction, using in this instance as a cage rather than a defense
01<@DeathStar> 6* The scythes turn, following Tabetha and John
01<@DeathStar> 6* Zackideus pauses, pushing himself into the force fields in anger
<Seraphna> * Tabetha turns and tries to shoot down two of them with her guns as she keeps moving to keep away from them.
<Kit> <Eluere> Tabetha three steps backwards right, John four steps!
01<@DeathStar> 6* The elders and the security take up positions around Zackideus
01<@DeathStar> 6* John pushes himself backwards four steps.
<Seraphna> * Tabetha moves back as instructed.
01<@DeathStar> 6* Tabetha's shots take out two, with three more coming; Curali hurls her tonfa at another, making it two
<Kit> 6Eluere activates another one of the elder's defenses around John, and waits for Tabetha to comply, activating the last
01<@DeathStar> 6* The two scythes bounce on the shields
<Kulix> <Nadia> What? I'm supposed to sit here why their getting killed? *She bares he teeth, pleadingly as she stares at Peter, sitting back down*
<Seraphna> Peter> "What the hell good are you going to do dying because you're too stubborn not to move when you're injured!? Lay down now." *his glare is filled with a mix of anger and intense care* "You almost died on me..."
01<@DeathStar> 6* Vodka's wounds begin to slowly mend. Leira pauses, smiling in relief and shakes Key happily almost, tears in her eyes
01<@DeathStar> 6* As the elders knock Zackideus out, the security takes out the two remaining scythes. One of the elders looks at Chii. "Can you adminster the cure to Elder Zackideus?"
<Seraphna> Tabetha> "That was close..."
01<@DeathStar> <John> No kidding. 6* He grabs his comm and contacts Peter. "We're all clear here...Cheryl's badly hurt though."
<Seraphna> Peter> "She getting help?" *he grabs his comms up*
<Kit> <Chii> Um...
<Kit> 6Chii glances to Cheryl, then the elder, squinting.
01<@DeathStar> 6* A few of the security agents move over to Cheryl, radioing medical teams in. The elder motions at Cheryl still having the bag with the needed stuff on her body. Already, Chii can feel Cheryl's healing factor kicking in weakly
<Kulix> *Nadia grabs her head, shaking it as she holds her hand over her eyes, sitting down, and trying to relax* Alright... Just.. *She sighs, trying to come to grips with what happened*
01<@DeathStar> <Leira> Nadia, Peter, --- I think Vodka's going to be okay!
<Kit> 6Chii takes the bag, scowling. 1"Fine..."
<Seraphna> * Peter lays her back down. He turns and smiles at Zephyr and Key. "Awesome work Key!"
01<@DeathStar> <Elder> We are in your debt - and Cheryl Mizuiki
<Kit> 6Eluere slumps, sighing in relief. 1"..."
01<@DeathStar> 6* Curali scrambles over and touches Eluere's wound
01<@DeathStar> <Curali> Ohogodohgod, we need medics! All them!
01<@DeathStar> 6* She eyes the cut like it's life threatening or something
<Seraphna> * Tabetha moves over to Curali and Eluere, she materializes the medical kit and puts it down. "Want to help me bandage her Curali?"
<Kit> <Eluere> Curali.. I'm fine... I'm just worn out. I accessed the systems directly. Not used to that..
01<@DeathStar> 6* Curali nods at Tabetha, hugging onto Eluere protectively
01<@DeathStar> 6* The medics begin to treat Cheryl, commenting how she was almost killed, right there in front of Chii; 'another few inches' or 'if she had lost anymore blood'
<Kit> <Chii> I GET THE FUCKING POINT!
01<@DeathStar> 6* The nurses jerk, then eye Chii as if just seeing her, then comment on how Cheryl's team is rather rude
<Seraphna> * Tabetha starts putting a bandage on Eluere's wound and gives her the first aid nanite shot.
01<@DeathStar> 6* John moves over to take the bag from Chii. "I got this; go to see Cheryl." 6* He moves over and begins to put the IV into Zack
<Kulix> <Nadia> Vodka... She's ok.. thats good. *She lies back down blinking a few times as she stares at the ceiling, trying not to care as all the commotion goes on around her, but Peter can tell that she does, obviously. She just closes her eyes again, trying to ignore it*
<Seraphna> * Peter leans over and gently kisses Nadia's lips. "Relax for me, alright?"
<Kit> <Chii> ...Thanks." 6She sighs, moving closer. 1'I'm not her team, I'm her wife. Be gentle, damn it."
<Kit> <Key> Yes-- healing herself now.
01<@DeathStar> 6* The guardians jerk and then comment to themselves that Cheryl must like jailbait
<Kulix> *Nadia nods, trying to relax the best she can*
<Seraphna> Tabetha> "In technicality, Cheryl is the jailbait. At least under my understanding of the terminology."
<Kit> 6Chii goes to snarl, then pauses, smiling bashfully-- then eyes Tabetha with death.
<Seraphna> * Tabetha blinks innocently.
01<@DeathStar> 6* The guardians peer at Tabetha, then at Chii in awe, commenting she must age more slowly than Guardians
<Kit> <Chii> I didn't age at all until I met blondie here.
01<@DeathStar> 6* Cheryl is lifted up gently and carried to the medical room, while the elder is taken, too. Curali thanks Tabetha, then follows
<Seraphna> * Tabetha nods and puts the medical kit back in subspace, standing up to follow.
<Kit> <Eluere> Geez...
01<@DeathStar> 6* After a bit, everyone is now in medical; Cheryl is being treated with machines like Vodka. Everyone eyes Zackideus, as John reads vodka's files on how to know when he's cured
01<@DeathStar> 6* One of the elders turns to Chii, assuming she is the team leader now. "We are sorry we doubted you before. We are in your debt. It will take some time to try to get every Guardian cured without them knowing it."
<Seraphna> * Tabetha reads over his shoulder, hugging him.
01<@DeathStar> <John> Geeze, why does Vodka use such big words?
<Kit> <Chii> Why does it matter if they know they're being cured
<Seraphna> Tabetha> "I can explain any you need to know."
01<@DeathStar> <Elder> Would they not react like Elder Zackideus did?
<Seraphna> Peter> "Well, I think Zacky boy here showed us why it matters."
01<@DeathStar> <John> Okay, what's that word. 6* He points at one
01<@DeathStar> 6* Curali sits on Nadia's bed, leaning in close
01<@DeathStar> <Curali> So, you want to know how much Peter cried and fondled you while you were out of it?

<Kulix> *Nadia blinks her eyes open, glancing over at Curali* ... Peter? *glancing over at him* You cried? For me?
<Seraphna> Peter> "A-A hug? A grope?" *he blinks and looks at Naida, then rubs the back of his head*
01<@DeathStar> 6* A guardian security officer walks in. "Human woman is here. She says she knows the black human we took prisoner - but is also wanting to talk to Cheryl Mizuiki's team.
<Seraphna> * Tabetha whispers into John's ear.

<Seraphna> * Peter looks up. "Human woman? Black human? You got some names?"
01<@DeathStar> <Elder> He is referring to the agent of EarthGov - Gordon Paladin. I don't know the woman, though. Do you wish to see her?"
<Seraphna> Peter> "Sure."
<Seraphna> * Tabetha peers over.
<Kulix> <Nadia> They took Paladin prisoner..? *She asks incredulously*
<Seraphna> Peter> "I'm sure it's a misunderstanding."
01<@DeathStar> 6* The elder nods at the guardian and he motions at the hallway; an asian/italian woman stps in, wearing a blouse and khakis, and has dark brown hair to her waste

<Seraphna> * Peter tilts his head a little. "Have I seen her before?"
01<@DeathStar> 6* The woman glances at Cheryl, raising a brow, and means over to Chii, bowing to her

It seems to understand basic, limited by its inability to speak. If you set up a course with objects to move for communication, I have a feeling you might be surprised.

She sips, smelling the wine, taking in the italian experience as she glances at Peter* What of you, Peter, what do you have planned for tonight, after this?

<Kulix> *Nadia takes another sip casually, setting the glass down* Sure, hun. I do not know what is good movie these days. I have been so busy lately I forget to pay attention. What should we go see?
<Tabetha> Peter> "Ah, about the same, we'll just pick a genre oi guess. I take it you're not the romantic comedy types."
01<DeathStar> <Vodka> Ro..mantic ... comedies? Is that romantic tragedies, then?
<Kulix> *Nadia shrugs, leaning back against the booth* I could do romantic comedy.. *She makes a face thinking about it* I used to like artsy indipendant films, now that you mention it... Romantic tragedies seem a bit heavier.. *She eyes to the side thinking again, shrugging* Pick whatever the two of you like, it does not matter to me.
<Tabetha> Peter> "Normally an action movie sort myself."

01<DeathStar> 6* Vodka seems to enjoy the touch, though she tries not to show it; she begins to eat casually, then eyes a table across the way where some people are studying her and whispering, nodding at her hair color

<Kulix> <Nadia> When I was little, there was movie called waking life. Was interesting little movie about nothing. Still, interesting none the less.
<Kulix> <Nadia> Oh, and I remember this movie called 'Red Baloon'. Was cute too.
01<DeathStar> 6* They seem to be murmuring that she might be a 'killer' NGD and they should call the authorities. Another debates it's just a hair dye

<Kulix> <Nadia> Sometimes I wish I could go back to those days. Doesnt everyone? *She takes another bite, chewing as she thinks* I've got too many toys to play with now as it is. More datapads, computers, and automated systems than you can shake a stick at.
