01<@DeathStar> 6* Valen wakes up in his bed due to hunger since he didn't eat last night; the camera is focused on him for the moment
<Kellin> 6* Valen stirs and sits up, hand sliding to his stomach for a moment before he looks around, then shifts to get out of hsi bed and move to his pack.
<Kellin> 6* Valen rummages through his pack to pull out some dried meat and a biscuit and begins to eat it quietly, shifting over to the window seal to stare out at the city.
01<@DeathStar> 6* The city is boring as he looks out, the plot not advancing yet like in a video game where you have your character stand
<Kellin> 6* Valen finishes eating after a bit and then moves to get fully dressed before stepping out of the room to go and see if Rachael is awake, he knocks on the door lightly.
01<@DeathStar> 6* There's no response strangely and the door moves open a little as he knocks
<Kellin> 6* Valen pauses and slowly peers his head in. 1Rachael? Nephilim?
01<@DeathStar> 6* He'd spot Nephilim in the bed, but no sign of Rachael.
<Kellin> 6* Valen moves over to the bed fully and kneels down, reaching a hand out to nudge Nephilim. 1Neph. Did Rachael go out?
<Eluere> 6Nephilim is strewn about on the bed, limbs every which way and tangled in the blankets, her hair all over.
<Eluere> 6Nephilim jumps, her whole body moving on reflex, the metallic ring of her crescent knife being drawn from her inner thigh and whirled at Valen before she pauses.
<Eluere> <Nephilim> Oh. You.

<Kellin> <Valen> Me. Did Rachael mention going out early? 6He pauses and then glances to Soma, 1Soma? Are you okay?
01<@DeathStar> 6* Soma makes noises, running to the door, peering back, as if waiting
<Eluere> <Nephilim> Huh? No--" 6She eyes Soma, hopping up and running over, in her undergarments beside the leather cords holding the knife sheath to her thigh.
<Eluere> <Nephilim> Soma! What is it boy?! Zeal fell down a well?!
<Kellin> 6* Valen stares slightly at Nephilim. 1Ahem. You should put some clothign on and then we can follow him.
01<@DeathStar> 6* People with trays of fruit pass the door, heading for the stairs
<Eluere> <Nephilim> What? I'm not desireable enough to look at?" 6She hrmphs.
<Kellin> <Valen> I didn't say that. 6he points out and moves to step out the door.
<Eluere> 6Nephilim shifts, pushing her chest out and poising shyly. 1"You know, if you put a collar on me, no one'd be surprised seeing so much skin anyway.."

<Kellin> <Valen> We should wake the others, let them know that somethign is up with Soma.

<Eluere> 6Nephilim hrmphs, finding her flashy clothing, now full of pettiskirts and scarves and other various haphazardly combined clothing.
<Kellin> 6* Valen kneels and peers at Soma. 1It cannot wait?
01<@DeathStar> 6* As Nephilim dresses, she'd feel something strange via the mark, like something is wrong with Jean. As Kaelan hears noises at the door, waking up in her bed, she'd see Mercy, dressed in her old clothing since they have not shopped, getting trays of food
01<@DeathStar> 6* Soma mewls and hurries up the stairs after the servants
<Kellin> 6* Valen gets a look of concern and moves after Soma quickly.
<Seraphna> * Kaelan gets up, pulling a loose shirt over herself, "What's going on out there..." *she pauses at Mercy's clothing* "I really need to pick you up new clothes today."
01<@DeathStar> 6* Kaelan would also find herself 5 gold shorter due to the amount of food Mercy ordered, mainly fruit. As she wakes up, she'd feel strangeness in the mark
<Seraphna> * Kaelan moves over and opens the door a crack to check. "Something's wrong... Jean?" *she grabs her swird belt, hooking it on she moves out of the room, nodding to Mercy and heading for the stairs*
01<@DeathStar> 6* Soma mewls at Mercy now, as if asking for her help as she gets the trays of food. Mercy blinks down at him
01<@DeathStar> <Mercy> I think she is ill, so I ordered some fruit to cheer her up
<Kellin> 6* Valen steps up after Soma. 1Is everythign okay? Soma seems afraid...or worried?
<Seraphna> * Kaelan peers over at Soma and Mercy. "Soma...? What is it?" *she nods to Mercy*
01<@DeathStar> 6* Soma whines like he wants them to follow them and Mercy moves to the suite next door and knocks. Lenneth opens it, looking like she's been up all date and worried
01<@DeathStar> <Mercy> I got Lady Jean some food. <Lenneth> ... she's... unconscious right now
<Eluere> <Nephilim> Strange." 6She mumbles and moves out into the hall, looking around.
<Seraphna> * Kaelan frowns. She looks up from Soma to Lenneth, "Unconcious?"
01<@DeathStar> 6* Lenneth steps back and Aschae and Jean are in the bed, Jean's blonde hair all around, her black wig nearby; they're dressed in robes and look naked under them. Lenneth moves over and as she steps over, ASchae would awaken finally herself
<Kellin> <Valen> Did something happen in the middle of the night?
01<@DeathStar> 6* Mercy glides in and sets the tray down. Soma whines more

<Seraphna> Kaelan> "Seems like it... Soma's really distressed... we should follow him..."
01<@DeathStar> <Lenneth> I do not know; the angel cried out in pain and she and Aschae passed out. Jean has been running a slight fever since...Aschae 6* She looks relieved

01<@DeathStar> 6* Lenneth steps over and checks Aschae over in relief
01<@DeathStar> <Lenneth> Since she passed out. 6* She tells Kaelan like one would a student
<Seraphna> * Kaelan picks up SOma. "Okay..." *she looks torn* "Where are the others?"
<Kellin> 6* Valen frowns. 1Someone should keep a check on them, Lenneth you can do that. The rest of us should follow Soma.

01<@DeathStar> 6* Soma hurries down the stairs and down to the lobby, where the rich people eye him and look startled. But then assume he's some exotic pet

<Kellin> 6* Valen takes a few second to grab his weapons, putting them on properly as he comes moving down after Soma. 1Nephilim, come with us. 6He calls out as he passes her.
<Eluere> <Nephilim> Well, duh. Zeal's missing. Where is she?
01<@DeathStar> <Lenneth> You and the angel passed out after she cried out in pain. She has run a low grade ever since; you simply seemed down due to close proximity
<Seraphna> * Kaelan steps after him, hastily throwing her cloak over her exposed form, in little but a metal bikini and an overshirt. She blushes and continues after the kitty.
<Kellin> <Valen> I think Soma is going to show us.
01<@DeathStar> 6* Mercy sits with Lenneth and Aschae, tending to Jean
01<@DeathStar> 6* Soma hurries along the crowded and busy streets, people stepping around; it's amazing he doesn't get crushed
<Eluere> <Aschae> I see..." 6She peers at Jean, reaching out to touch her face and closes her eyes.
<Eluere> 6Nephilim sprints after him, matching his pace and dodging people in the same fashion
<Seraphna> * Kelan keeps up, moving through the street, around people as best she can.
<Kellin> 6* Valen does his best to keep up as well.
01<@DeathStar> 6* Mercy peers at Aschae and smiles, cutting some fruit for her and holding it out

01<@DeathStar> 6* Soma hurries to the gates and hurries through low to the ground. The soldiers on guard grab their swords. "Monster!"
<Kellin> <Valen> Stay your swords, he's our pet, we've domesticated him! 6He calls out.
<Seraphna> "Hold! He's tame!" *she rushes through after it*
<Eluere> <Aschae> I appreciate it, miss Mercy, but perhaps in a little while." 6She focuses on something

01<@DeathStar> 6* The guards pause and eye them all, then sheathe their swords slowly. Soma runs once out in the fields
<Seraphna> * Kaelan rushes out after him. "Don't lose us Soma!"
<Kellin> 6* Valen bows his head as he passes. 1Thank you. 6He increases his speed once he gets clear of people, rushing to catch up with Soma.
01<@DeathStar> 6* The tigoar kitten mewls and stops at what appears to be an open grave with a human girl that looks maybe 12 in it, unconscious, Rachael laying to one side, Thomas on the other, and Seth and Zeal face down by the girl
<Seraphna> * Kaelan frowns. "What on Tareh is going on?"
<Seraphna> * Kaelan moves over, turning Zeal over.
<Kellin> 6* Valen slides to a halt, peering around oddly, he tenses and quickly slides over to kneel and check on Rachael.
01<@DeathStar> 6* Zeal has a strange mark on her exposed blouse, the angel's mark with what appears to be some icy blue lines
01<@DeathStar> 6* Rachael groans, and stirs, sitting up, her hair a mess. She has no strange icy blue lines. "Vale?"
<Seraphna> Kaelan> "Zeal? Thomas? Seth? Rachael?" *she eyes the mark*
<Kellin> <Valen> What the hell happened?
<Seraphna> * Seth looks odd without even being turned over, bloody, covered in dirt, but with an oddly fresh shirt on.
01<@DeathStar> <Rachael> Seth...rejected Carly for Jean---she went out and let herself be killed...then we tried to ressurect her...but something happened and I can't remember what

<Seraphna> Kaelan> "Zeal's mark... it looks like it's been iced over."
<Eluere> <Nephilim> What in the world..?" 6She kneels peering Zeal over.
<Kellin> <Valen> Tried to...ressurect...her. 6He says slowly, then glances to Kaelan before looking at Rachael's mark.
<Kellin> <Valen> Rachael's is fine.

<Seraphna> * Kaelan frowns. "How did they try to do that? Is that little girl... Carly?"
<Seraphna> * Kaelan leans over, gently checking the girl's breathing.

<Kellin> 6* Valen leans back slightly, a frown etched on his face. 1...
01<@DeathStar> 6* Rachael shifts and checks Thomas, who groans and opens his eyes. Zeal begins to awaken, too

<Eluere> 6Zeal makes a noise and stirs.
<Seraphna> Kaelan> "Strangely cool breath... guess it is Carly."
01<@DeathStar> <Rachael> Someone check Seth. He was closer when it happened. I think ht was hurt
01<@DeathStar> 6* The mark feels cool, not the girl
01<@DeathStar> 6* The girl is breathing slowly
<Seraphna> * Kaelan frowns, rolling Seth over. Scratch the breath comment.
<Kellin> 6* Valen eyes the girl quietly. 1Why would you do this?
01<@DeathStar> 6* Seth's chest where his heart should be has a giant iced hole it looks like, like his heart was damaged and then iced over. His mark is completely iced over with the lines
01<@DeathStar> <Rachael> Carly was a little girl who got turned into a demon. We were suppose to help and teach her and we kept abandoning her. She even brought you to us, Valen. Then Seth got her killed.
<Seraphna> Kaelan> "The hell..." *she checks his breathing* "Is he alive...?"
01<@DeathStar> 6* Seth doesn't seem to be breathing, but as Kaelan touches him, he too would wake up
<Kellin> <Valen> Yes, but ressurection...6He shakes his head slightly and mumbles.
01<@DeathStar> <Rachael> ... You were ressurected. 6* She notes, eyeing him
<Seraphna> * Seth opens his eyes, looking around. "That hurt... I think. Carly?"
01<@DeathStar> 6* Thomas groans and sits up, then quickly hurries to Zeal, pulling her onto his lap. "Zeal?"
<Seraphna> * Kaelan squeaks and falls back, surprised since he wasn't breathing.
<Kellin> <Valen> By gods, you could have all been killed in replace for her life. It was very risky.
<Seraphna> Seth> "I... I had to try."
<Seraphna> * Seth looks over at Carly in worry.
<Kellin> 6* Valen shifts over and reaches out to nudge the girl slightly.
01<@DeathStar> <Rachael> Maybe. 6* She doesn't say anything about her part in it. "I was just here for moral support."
<Eluere> <Zeal> I'm fine... I think.
01<@DeathStar> 6* The girl groans and looks illish and pale
01<@DeathStar> 6* Thomas holds her tightly. "Oh thank the ... fates."
<Seraphna> Kaelan> "We need to get them a doctor, or Jean. Seth has a hole in his chest."
<Kellin> <Valen> She is...alive. 6He announces to the others. 1Are you okay, young lady?
<Kellin> 6* Valen glances up to Seth, eyeing him slightly before looking back to the girl.
<Seraphna> Seth> "Huh?" *he looks down as though unaware* "So I do..."
01<@DeathStar> 6* The girl doesn't respond or open her eyes. Rachael frowns and looks at her. "Do you think she needs more blood"
<Seraphna> Seth> "It's how she gets power... she probably does."
<Seraphna> * Seth looks for his knife, looking like he's going to give more.
<Eluere> <Zeal> Don't... think that's a good iea...

<Seraphna> Kaelan> "Does she hold a human form when out of it? That doesn't seem right somehow."
<Kellin> <Valen> Let's get everyone back to the inn. 6He shifts to lift the girl up into his arms.
01<@DeathStar> 6* The girl groans as she's lifted but doesn't wake; a scar is around her throat where her head came off
01<@DeathStar> 6* Rachael nods and Thomas lifts Zeal up, refusing to let her walk
<Seraphna> Seth> "Hide her neck. The guards might still be looking for her."
01<@DeathStar> 6* Rachael walks and stumbles a little herself, looking weak
<Kellin> 6* Valen glances to Rachael and shifts over to her. 1Lean on me.
<Seraphna> * Seth rises, or tries to rise, pulling his cloak over his chest.
<Seraphna> * Kaelan helps Zeal up.

01<@DeathStar> 6* Seth would find himself fine, if not hungry
<Seraphna> * Kaelan pauses and blushes a bit. "Sorry, flustered."
01<@DeathStar> 6* Rachael nods and leans against him. Soma mewls and Thomas lifts him up and places him on Zeal as he carries her
<Seraphna> * Kaelan begins to head back.
<Seraphna> Seth> "Huh... I feel fine." *he starts to move back* "I could use a meal though."
01<@DeathStar> 6* The girl has pretty reddish hair that's a little golden, unlike Mercy's, with some blue streaks in it
01<@DeathStar> 6* AS they reach the gate, the guards eye them. "And what is going on there?"
<Eluere> <Zeal> What in heavens happened..?
01<@DeathStar> <Thomas> I do not know; perhaps Jean can tell us more
<Kellin> <Valen> Some of our friends go seperated, our tigroar helped us find them. 6He explains.

<Seraphna> * Kaelan nods. "We have a sick child, can you point us to a healer?"
01<@DeathStar> 6* They nod and peer at the girl. "There are a few healers. There is one on this street, near the Phan and PHer Tavern
<Seraphna> * Kaelan nods, "Thank you, I know that one."
<Eluere> <Nephilim> Zeal's alright, isn't she, Rach?
<Kellin> 6* Valen bows his head in thanks, then moves into the city.
01<@DeathStar> <Rachael> I hope so. Zeal's our healer unfortunately; though she's taught Mercy a little
<Seraphna> * Kaelan nods, "Yeah..." *she moves in after Valen, Seth makes his way through, watching Valen with Carly as he heads after them*
01<@DeathStar> 6* They pass the healer's spot, marked with a healing symbol, in case they decide to go to it later
<Kellin> 6* Valen moves for the healer, knocking on the door.
01<@DeathStar> 6* After a moment the door opens and an old woman eyes them
<Kellin> NRP: Oh wait ex that.
<Kellin> NRP: Well nevermind!
<Kellin> 6* Valen nods. 1Apologies, but how much do you charge for healing services?
01<@DeathStar> <Old Woman> It depends on the illness. You have a sick child? Bring them in
<Seraphna> * Kaelan looks at Valen.
01<@DeathStar> 6* She turns and moves inside, motioning at the bed
<Seraphna> * Kaelan leans over to whisper to him.
<Kellin> 6* Valen pauses slightly to glance to Kaelan, then hmms. 1Probably not. 6He lets out a slight breath and nods to the others. 1Maybe take everyone else back to the inn? 6He turns steps in and palces Carly on the bed.
<Seraphna> * Kaelan nods. "THe rest of you, let's head back. Let's not crowd the healer."
01<@DeathStar> 6* Rachael leans against Valen still, and the old woman begins to touch along Carly's neck, exmaining the scar and eyes Valen, then doeso ther things, shaking leaves over her
<Seraphna> * Seth stands near Carly, with a serious look on his face.
<Eluere> 6Zeal looks to Thomas, wondering if she should stay or go
<Kellin> 6* Valen stands there quietly as he watches. 1Is she...okay?
01<@DeathStar> 6* Thomas looks at her. "It is up to you."
01<@DeathStar> 6* The woman pauses, eyeing Seth and stepping toward him, then hisses at him, grabbing some jars and eyeing him. "Out demon1"
<Seraphna> * Seth frowns in confuseion. "What...?"
01<@DeathStar> 6* She flicks something at Seth, some liquid, and it burns his skin
<Seraphna> * Seth yelps and heads out, moving into an alley and making himself scarce.
<Kellin> <Valen> Demon? 6He arches a brow at Seth, then shakes his head slightly. 1I'm sorry I didn't know that's what he was.
<Seraphna> Kaelan> "The... heck..."
01<@DeathStar> 6* Rachael blinks at that and the old woman looks ready to yell out that there's a demon as Seth runs off. "That child is likely sick because you let a demon near her!"
<Eluere> <Zeal> ...Um, milady. We have been in that man's company for some time-- could you tell me if I-- am corrupted in any way?
01<@DeathStar> 6* Thomas looks stunned, holding Zeal closer protectively. The woman's eyes pass over Zeal, and she steps over and she begins to examine her, pulling her cheeks and pinching her breasts
<Kellin> 6* Valen steps over to her. 1I will go find him and make him pay for harming this child. 6He puts a hand to his sword and moves out after Seth.
<Eluere> <Zeal> H-Hey..!
01<@DeathStar> <Old woman> Hmmm.... you are not a demon but you are not quite healthy either. 6* She thrusts a jar of curing herbs into her arms. "Take these twice a day. That will be 1 silver."
<Seraphna> Kaelan> "Aye, don't fear lady." *she grabs her own and moves after Valen*
<Eluere> <Zeal> Um... alright.
<Kellin> 6* Valen steps into the alley, approaching Seth.
01<@DeathStar> 6* The old woman returns to the girl, examining her, then tisks. "She is weak, probably having been fed on. She needs warm liquids and soups until she is stronger for real food. She is not quite healthy either. She will need those herbs, too, the same as you."
<Seraphna> * Seth sits in the shadows, looking bewildered.
<Eluere> <Zeal> Very well, milady. Thank you..." 6She looks confused.
01<@DeathStar> 6* Rachael frowns and looks over them. Thomas holds Zeal close to him, relieved that she's not going to be chased out. The woman nods at Thomas who moves to take her and another jar of herbs. Two silver is taken from Zeal and the woman sees them out.
<Kellin> <Valen> So your traded your humanity for hers.
<Seraphna> Seth> "...That... seems right."
<Seraphna> * Kaelan steps in after Valen, frowning over at Seth.
<Eluere> <Zeal> Two silver." 6She mumbles.
<Eluere> <Nephilim> That mean I can stab him now?" 6She circles around Valen.
01<@DeathStar> 6* Zeal would tell they are rare herbs at least, and about 16 in a jar
<Seraphna> Kaelan> "No, it doesn't."
01<@DeathStar> 6* Thomas carries Carly out and Rachael helps Zeal out, though Zeal's strength has returned
<Kellin> <Valen> I hope you understand what this means. If you lose control and injure the others I will not hesitated to stop you. 6He turns to leave and pauses. 1But I cannot say I blame you. Especially if her death was her fault. 6He shakes his head to Nephilim. 1Come.

<Seraphna> * Seth nods a little dumbly. "I'll... do what I can to keep in control."
01<@DeathStar> <Rachael> Seth is a demon now...and Carly's human?
<Seraphna> Kaelan> "If he's a demon he's going to need to feed. Can you feed without killing?"
<Eluere> <Zeal> Two silver is my repentence?
<Eluere> 6Zeal mumbles. 1"Yes, it's possible without killing."
<Seraphna> * Seth looks down. "I'll do what I can..." *he smiles* "Carly's alive..."
<Kellin> 6* Valen peers at the others as he steps out of the alley and glances to the girl. 1We should all take this conversation to the inn.
01<@DeathStar> 6* Thomas frowns. "Your mark looks a little warped; there might be more injury to you than herbs can cure." 6* He peers at them, and nods to Valen
<Seraphna> * Kaelan nods her agreement. "Maybe Jean can give us some insight when she recovers too."
01<@DeathStar> <Thomas> She also said Carly wasn't quite normal either like Zeal. Hopefully Jean can tell--recovers? What is wrong with her?
<Eluere> 6Zeal peers at her mark and nods to Thomas, bringing her hands up and closes her eyes, focusing, trying out magic she'd been promised by Lenneth but never attempted to use on account of captivity
<Kellin> 6* Valen shifts to help Rachael and Zeal as they all move back to the inn. 1She fell unconcious last night along with Aschae.
<Seraphna> Kaelan> "She had a fever when we left, she feels... wrong, over the mark."

01<@DeathStar> <Rachael> LAst night? When this happened?
<Eluere> 6Zeal attempts the healing magic on herself.
<Seraphna> Seth> "...I think I know."
<Kellin> <Valen> Perhaps. It could be why the the marks are different.
01<@DeathStar> 6* Zeal's magic doesn't seem to do anything, as if there's nothing to heal, but she can tell there's some link to Carly now
<Seraphna> Seth> "Earlier when I asked her about this... umm... ceremony, Nell did all the talking for her. Said she wasn't feeling well."
01<@DeathStar> <Rachael> The mark can be used to heal us; if Seth's 'dead' - what does that mean the mark is doing? Trying to 'heal' him?
<Kellin> <Valen> Only she could answer that I believe.
<Eluere> <Zeal> I hadn't thought of that.
<Seraphna> * Seth raises a brow. "I don't feel dead."
01<@DeathStar> <Rachael> You have a gaping iced spot where your heart was, Seth
01<@DeathStar> 6* They reach the inn
<Seraphna> * Seth looks down at his chest again, covered by the cloak. "...I feel fine though."

<Seraphna> * Kaelan shakes her head.
01<@DeathStar> 6* Rachael quiets in the lobby of the inn as they head up. "Jean's suite then?"
<Eluere> 6Zeal smiles slowly at Soma
<Kellin> 6* Valen nods to Rachael and moves for the stairs.
<Seraphna> Kaelan> "Yes."
01<@DeathStar> 6* When they reach the door and knock, Mercy opens it for them. Jean's eyes are still closed now. Lenneth has eaten some of the food Mercy bought, and Soma hungerily leaps on a plate of susage

01<@DeathStar> 6* Lenneth eyes Seth suddenly
<Kellin> 6* Valen helps Zeal and Rachael in, then glances to Lenneth. 1How is Jean?

<Seraphna> * Kaelan moves over to Jean. "Sis..."

<Eluere> <Aschae> She's fine-- for now.
