Sonyee and Jean both tidy up the camp site. <Thomas> We determined that the beachline stretches on pretty far and the forest seems rather thick, but we have no choice but to pass through it to see if we can find people."
<Kit> <Nephilim> So basically we found nothin' and we're going in anyway.
<Sera> * Sia yawns a bit and perches on her heels, crouched low as she closes the book. "At least you didn't find monsters..."

<Kit> <Nephilim> An ocean-going vessel is different from a tradeship that keeps near coasts.

<Sera> * Sia hugs onto her satchel and follows after Jean.
<Kit> 6Aschae herself seems quiet, but moves to follow, holding her staff between her crossed arms. Nephilim stares at Sonyee while walking.
01<@DeathStar> 6* The forest is noisey with bugs while Sonyee follows after Aschae, looking happier once in the forest
<Sera> * Sia squeaks a bit and moves over closer up behind Jean when she thinks she sees a big bug due to the noises.

<Sera> Sia> "Miss Aschae... how do we get them out?"

<Sera> * Sia looks about for a vine or something. "Do we have any rope...?"
<Kit> 6Aschae rubs her head, then sees if she can manipulate her earth magic to rise the pitfall up.
01<@DeathStar> 6* The ground lifts up with the two; the area rustles about them and people in loin cloths, women all, topless, stand ready, hands poised in some ancient fighting style that only A would recognize
01<@DeathStar> 6* Sonyee jerks around; some of them have fox ears and tails.

<Sera> * Sia squeaks and puts her hands up in instant surrender.
01<@DeathStar> 6* Jean looks about as they are lifted up; Thomas groans, sitting up weakly. The people look them all over, speaking in some foreign language, that Jean listens to
<Sera> * Sia blinks, listening but probably not having a clue on.
<Kit> 6Aschae chuckles and lifts her hands similar to them, but a bad mimic
01<@DeathStar> 6* Jean chatters back in their language and the people study her, then the others. One person flicks a hand and suddenly everyone blacks out, except ASchae, as the person blinks at her movement. All around her the team drops, as if unconscious - Jean peers at Aschae, then at the people. They walk over, picking up the team. One speaks to ASchae in their language, waiting
<Kit> <Aschae> Sorry, sweetie. I don't speak bestial, celestial, whatever it is you loves chatter in.
01<@DeathStar> 6* One eyes Aschae, and she gets blacked out with a hand gesture a moment later; the team wakes up in a hut made of grass and a guard at the door, a cute female wih a gray tail, that swishes. She stands facing outward, the door open, and the tail facing them. Jean is not there
<Sera> * Sia blinks, looking about, then at the tail. "More cute tails and ears..."
01<@DeathStar> 6* Sonyee is laying nearby, watching; for whatever reason she's not invited in on the fox meeting
<Sera> * Sia leans over, petting Sonye's ear. "You think these might be your people?"
01<@DeathStar> 6* Sonyee blinks and blushes. "I---"
01<@DeathStar> 6* Thomas rubs his face. "What---is going on....?" 6* He eyes the woman facing away
<Sera> * Sia strokes it more. She looks over at Thomas. "I think we're prisoners."
<Kit> <Nephilim> I doubt it. She didn't speak their language.
<Kit> <Aschae> We are indeed being watched." 6She gets up, eyeing the gray tail
01<@DeathStar> <Thomas> Prisoners of who --- they are all part animal. Are they Jean's people?
01<@DeathStar> 6* The tail swishes merrily as the girl peers back at them, gives them a scowl, then peers back out, apparantly satisfied that her mean look is enough to stop them
<Sera> * Sia slowly reaches out for the tail.

<Sera> * Sia softly pats it. "Excuse me... miss?"
01<@DeathStar> 6* The girl squeaks and jerks around to bite at Sia
<Sera> * Sia squeaks and recoils, falling over backward. "Eeep!"
01<@DeathStar> 6* Thomas shifts over in front of Sia; the girl blinks and calms down, then speaks awkwardly. "Tail. Sensitive. Need food?"
<Sera> Sia> "Y-Yes Please, S-Sorry Miss."
<Kit> <Aschae> You speak Taren?
<Kit> <Nephilim> Worse than Inner Zeal.
01<@DeathStar> <Girl> Not well; others... weller. Others come... times some. Will get food. 6* She turns and calls out loudly in her own language
<Sera> * Sia blinks and looks up shyly at the foxgirl. She tilts her head. "Others have come here...? Maybe we're not lost for good then!"

<Kit> <Aschae> Well... we would become part of the flow cycle..
<Sera> Sia> "Y-You don't really think they will!?" *she quails*

01<@DeathStar> 6* The girl hums in some tune, and finally two more Kitsune arrive; they all look rather young, the oldest looking about 25. The older one speaks. "We have been speaking with your friend; you are free to come to the dinner hut and we'll speak more." 6* They dismiss the girl in their own language who trots off - she looks about 15
<Sera> * Sia waves goodbye. She smiles now that they seem friendly. "Th-Thank you!"
01<@DeathStar> 6* The two wave for them to follow, one shifting aside to follow behind them while the first, a blonde with blue eyes, and a blonde tail and ears, guides them along to a hut
<Kit> <Aschae> Is it required?" 6She smirks.
<Sera> * Sia heads after them, watching the tail hypnotically.
01<@DeathStar> <Woman> Absolutely. 6* She smiles, showing her teeth
01<@DeathStar> 6* Thomas rises and follows after the woman walking, and Sonyee hangs with Aschae
<Kit> <Aschae> I figured as much. Huhuhu.
<Sera> Sia> "I like your tail..."
<Kit> <Aschae> It reminds me of Jean's.
01<@DeathStar> <Woman> I'm glad you're a quick learner; come now. 6* She peers at Sia, then at Aschae. "Then she has a blonde tail but is hiding it?"
01<@DeathStar> 6* She walks along with the group; fox girls peer at them from all over - there's some fox men, too, but they look to be subserviant
<Sera> Sia> "I-It's like it's there but it's not... I felt it in the bath."
<Kit> <Aschae> Not so much her. I believe she was magicked in such a way to protect her.
01<@DeathStar> <Woman> Interesting. We are not the peopel to speak with however; we split off from the others.

<Sera> * Sia looks curious too.
01<@DeathStar> <Woman> They are on another island; our ancestors split off from them long ago because they did not want to fight the church. We came here to be in peace. Since they cling to their battle so hard, they no doubt would have ancient documents that could help you more; maybe your Jean is e ven from there. 6* She steps into a hut
<Sera> * Sia keeps following. "A people who fight the gods..."
<Kit> <Aschae> Help us more..? So you know we're in spite of the Tarehn gods.
<Kit> <Aschae> I'm afraid I've never heard of a formalized army of your ... lot... in opposition however. You say ancestors, so I must say it may be possible they have been annihilated.

01<@DeathStar> <Woman> It's possible, but we live a long time, and sometimes some of us go to that island to join the cuase because we are restless here.

01<@DeathStar> 6* The woman eyes Aschae as she steps over to a table full of fruits and meats; Jean is chowing down on them
<Sera> * Sia hurries over to Jean, giggling. "Good fruit?"

01<@DeathStar> <Jean> Greatest! Eat! 6* Thomas moves to sit, quietly taking a fruit. "So you do not wish to fight the church?" <Woman> It's not that I don't but these people need me. Someone has to keep their asses alive
<Kit> <Nephilim> That's rude." 6She sniffs.
<Sera> * Sia giggles and takes some of the fruit, starting to eat.
01<@DeathStar> 6* She glances at ASchae. "The name is Gemane
<Kit> <Aschae> I see. You never asked for names, so I was under the impression they were unimportant.
<Kit> 6Aschae smiles widely.
01<@DeathStar> <Gemane> And these people just want to live their lives instead of fighting people people who would kill them on sight - blackie

<Sera> * Sia munches, listening quietly.
<Kit> <Aschae> Blackie?" 6She sniffs indignantly, sweeping her hand through her hair so it hits the sunlight and flashes reddish.
<Kit> 6A younger girl, or at least in appearance sits and stares at them all with wide eyes, her own hair a faded brown, her tail and ears mottled like a calico.
01<@DeathStar> 6* The girl eyes the reddish, mmming a little. "Alright, mutt. So why are you all here if you're out fighting the church and where did you learn that stance?"
<Sera> Sia> "We kinda got here by accident."
01<@DeathStar> <Gemane> How so?
01<@DeathStar> 6* Jean eats a big yellow fruit and slides it in her mouth obscenely
<Sera> Sia> "Well... Amazo was about to crush our ship and there was this brilliant light and... well, we woke up on the shore!"
<Kit> <Aschae> I think Jean activated Nephilim's "light" incorrectly.
<Kit> <Nephilim> ..." 6She crosses her arms pouting.

<Sera> Sia> "The Light..." *she looks a little distant*

<Kit> <Aschae> We all have our reasons to be in the gods' disliked graces. Some more than others." 6She moves over to Gemane, leaning in close.
<Kit> <Nephilim> I don't really know any more. It's just something I can do... when we find these big stones I can use them as checkpoints to travel instantly between lands.

<Kit> <Nephilim> Uh... yeah, I guess. You know about them?
<Sera> * Sia gapes, looking from Gemane to Nephilim.

<Kit> <Nephilim> Oh! Good! I can take us to Sinai, then.
<Sera> * Sia claps. "We're not lost!"
<Sera> * Sia pauses. "U-Unless we get eaten, right?"
01<@DeathStar> <Gemane> It is in a dangerous place; there's also one on the island of the other kitsune that could tell you more about the past and their battle with the church

<Sera> * Sia looks about. "Where do you think the others are anyway?"
01<@DeathStar> 6* Lenneth, who wasn't with the group when the group went into the woods, ahving been investigating something, is near by - totally
01<@DeathStar> <ThomaS> They would be heading toward Sinai
<Sera> Sia> "So we just head there and meet up right?"
01<@DeathStar> <Gemane> You are welcome to stay here for now - it i too dangerous to go near the stone at night and when we reach it night would have fallen. We will take you at first light

<Kit> <Nephilim> Sinai's capital? You think so? I don't think Zeal would go there.
<Sera> Sia> "Well, where were you all headed before we got seperated?"
<Kit> <Nephilim> A port on the Sinai mainland-- but I think Zeal would travel toward Oas, personally. She's very well known in Sinai, especially the capital. And don't you think she'd notch two birds by avoiding it going to Oas?

01<@DeathStar> <Thomas> But we don't know where the closest stone will be, either

<Sera> Sia> "Well, let's try and go there then. Well... try to find it. Aren't the plains villages all wanderers?"

01<@DeathStar> <Gemane> Well, eat up for now; we'll assign you all huts and we'll head out in the morning. 6* She turns to go, peering over Aschae once more.
01<@DeathStar> <Sonyee> .. 6* She quiely fidgets, while Jean ponders something. <JEan> I hope Nell is okay in forest...
<Kit> <Nephilim> They make hideskin and weave cloth that they prop with branches to make temporary shelters. Sometimes they just sleep on the plains themselves.
<Sera> Sia> "Maybe she'll fall in a hole and the cute foxes will find her."
<Kit> 6Aschae grabs Gemane by the waist and kisses her when she looks to her.
<Sera> * Sia jerks and blushes. "D-Do you kiss every girl!?"
<Kit> <Nephilim> Um... might it be a problem if they find Nell...?

01<@DeathStar> 6* Gemane's hands shift along ASchae's back as she does, looking a little surprised but quickly recovering and returning the kiss, herhand groping ASchae's butt a little, while her blush fills her cheek
<Kit> 6Aschae smirks to herself as she eyes Gemane. 1"My name is Aschae. The angel inside Jean taught me the basics, but won't you teach me more?"
<Sera> * Sia blushes harder and hides her face.
01<@DeathStar> <Gemane> I---see. I suppose I could teach you a little in my hut. 6* She notes, giving an order to the other kitsune in their language to see to it they eat and are given rooms, then walks out with Aschae.

<Kit> <Aschae> Huhu, jealous little one?" 6She smiles at Sia.
<Kit> <Nephilim> Well... Nell does resemble a certain someone...
<Sera> * Sia squeaks, "J-Jealous? M-Me? I-I-I..."
<Kit> 6Aschae pauses, jerking to eye Nephilim, then Gemane-- and breaks off running out of the village.
<Sera> * Sia tilts her head, watching Aschae run off.

01<@DeathStar> 6* After Aschae exits the village, she'd pass a shadow spying. Lenneth speaks in a whisper. "Do you all need help

<Sera> * Sia blinks a bit and hugs her bag. "I don't collect evil things... though people seem to think my tome on demonology is a little evil."
