<+Sia> * Kaelan rouses, opening her eyes and reaching for her sword as she gets up, pulling her shirt on to peek outside.

<+Sia> * Kaelan rubs her face and pulls on some more clothes, moving over with sword in hand. "What's the trouble here?"

<+Kit> 6Zeal has accompanied Kaelan to see what the disturbance is.
<+Xanatos> 6* Valen jerks, putting a hand to his head. He reaches for his saber as he stumbles to his feet as he attempts to get outside.
<+Sia> * Seth looks embarrased, staring down at his clothes, then up at those staring at him. "...How much did I drink last night?"

01<@DeathStar> 6* Rachael steps out and narrows her eyes at Seth. Mercy, who had been learning Oas cooking, watches Seth warily

01<@DeathStar> 6* Lily calls out to release the man and that he is simply a shifter. The people lower their weapons, eyeing Seth once, then move to get the day started. Women go back to cooking, while children run up to Seth, asking him to turn into various things

<+Sia> * Seth smiles weakly and tries a form.
01<@DeathStar> 6* Rachael steps over to Zeal and Kaelan. "So why did he turn back?" <Carly> He's weak. He can't maintain a form like; like I said, his personality change is only an act.

01<@DeathStar> 6* The Hunters begin to gather their bows and arrows. Rachael perks up, recalling something, and with Lily not near them speaks up. <Rachael> I noticed they had a lot of guards on duty last night; and one of the Hunter jobs listed said the villages out here were being hit by demons. Should we ask them about it?
<+Sia> * Seth takes the form for a moment, apparently trying to save energy. "Can only do a couple more kids, gotta get breakfast."

01<@DeathStar> 6* Mercy brings over bowls of stew for Zeal and KAelan, having gotten them large ones; she goes back to get more, bringing Valen and Rachael good sized ones, then back to get Carly a good sized one. She takes a small one for herself to eat
<+Sia> * Seth meanwhile scrambles to the bags, pulling out some clothes and making a makeshift outfit for himself, going barechested, apparently Kaelan hid any male clothes.

<+Sia> * Kaelan smiles to Mercy and holds out a bite for her to eat. Leaning close to her.

A great distance away, the high grass swaying, the archer Swift aims at the deeretard when it suddenly looks as if it was grabbed down. The tall high grass hides it. The others are not in the scene yet.

<+Kit> <Zeal> Rachael, can you use any magic from below? Your wind perhaps?
01<@DeathStar> 6* Rachael focuses and the deeretard's head flies up in the air - without the rest of it, and suddenly demons begin to rise from the grasslands. First dozens, then more, until in front of them is a wave of demons, all black against the green glass; various shapes and sizes. Most are blue skinned with red glowing eyes though
01<@DeathStar> 6* Rachael blinks from on top of the horse they got from the Oas people; the other rides blink, jerking and running back toward their horses
01<@DeathStar> 6* The demons are too many to count at just a glance, like a sea of evil. One demon is in the far back, out of range, his red eye glowing; the other is scarred over as if an arrow took it out long ago

01<@DeathStar> 6* The villagers begin to send the women and childer away from the demons in the opposite direcion, some of the men going to protect them, while the rest begin to set up positions to do battle

01<@DeathStar> <Rachael> I can't control wind to that degree, Zeal; I use wind in short bursts. The true wind could still turn it back on us

<+Xanatos> <Valen> Everyone. There is a cave near here. It doesn't offer the best protection but according the numbers advancing it is our only hope for survival. 6He calls out.
01<@DeathStar> 6* No one pays Kaelan any mind; they are too busy setting up. The women and children are moving away; Lily with them. Due to the team's debating, it seems the villager's are already doing their own tactics
01<@DeathStar> 6* Valen's voice wouldn't go far; he'd have to physically move after the people and redirect them
<+Sia> Kaelan> "Valen, catch who you can, I'll get the defenders moving."
<+Xanatos> 6* Valen sneers and jerks to run after the women and children.
<+Sia> * Kaelan starts to move for the soldiers and rally them together to go to the caves.
01<@DeathStar> 6* Rachael quietly, still hurt, begins to look to see if the village has any oil. The soldiers peer at Kaelan approaching, as do the women and children as Valen runs up. Carly follows Zeal silently
<+Sia> Kaelan> "There's a cave nearby we recently cleared of monsters, we're going to use that for defense, it'll reduce their ability to overwhelm us. Take as much as you can and head that way."
<+Xanatos> <Valen> If we flee like this, those that stay will be overrun and those running will be caught up too. We can only stand and fight, but we need to do it wisely. There is a cave not far from here, we can huddle up into it and defend ourselves there. It's not an ideal option but we have little others at this point.
01<@DeathStar> 6* The soldiers look at each other, then Kaelan, nodding and moving to get their men to follow Kaelan. Wynne, with the men and women, peers at Valen. <Wynne> I can help guide people there

<+Kit> 6Zeal waits until people are past her at least, then strikes her knife across her hatchet, setting light to the oil she'd been spilling behind them as they rode.

<+Xanatos> 6* Valen hops off the horse and motions to Seth. 1Make sure the cave is empty of demons. 6He turns to motions towards the villagers, helping those as they come in.

Fire begins to rush along after the people still moving slowly toward the cavel the first people have already begun entering it. Rachael squeaks a little as the fire rushes along around them
<+Kit> 6Zeal frowns at it going both ways since she'd sworn it was empty by then, then sets her hatchet and knife on her belt and draws her bow, reading an arrow.

The demons pause as the fire rushes at them, but the wind begins to twirl about, keeping it so doesn't continue, but the area between the group and them is burning hotly, keeping the demons from advancing. <+Kit> 6Yewn crouches on the cart, making a face, then throws her now burning cloak off and whirls in a circle, throwing her palms out and pushing back with her own energy before dashing to grap Lily, climb atop the cart and spring as far over it as she can

<+Kit> 6Zeal grinds her teeth, taking aim for the first demon she sees that doesn't seem to be "just waiting around" and looses her arrow with all her strength before retreating in the failing protection of her spell

<+Xanatos> 6* Valen shifts to help pull them into the cave fully.

01<@DeathStar> 6* The arrow flies across the gap, possiblely striking but it's hard to tell with all the smoke filling the air. Breathing is becoming painful

01<@DeathStar> 6* Inside the cave, Mercy has directed the people down the right tunnel and is getting medical herbs ready for burns
