The Kingdom of Ama'dorei:
History:
The Kingdom of Ama'dorei did not form right away - it was part of a larger group called the United Elven Front. The United Elven Front, or UEF for short, formed after a terrible virus hit humans for 50 years on Tareh from 2490 AJ - 2540 AJ, leaving them least populated race after Elves and Azuha. The Kingdom of Navarro, perhaps the most devastated by the virus, and Matias after it, were ripe for the taken, and many elves, resentful at what the humans had done to them during the Era of the Gods (0 AJ - 2390 AJ) took advantage of this. While many elves were happy in the Kingdom of Nuege, the elves and halflings that were not part of that Kingdom and were roaming about attacked the Matias continent and the southern continents that had merged during the shifting of the land continents that had begun on Tareh for the past 150 years. They also managed to take most of Navarro's lands who was in no shape to stop their advancement. The UEF by 2600 AJ had become the largest Kingdom in Tareh. Due to their attacks and the virus, the Kingdom of Navarro's remants became the Kingdom of Gelus under the new King Gelus.
Drunk on the power of their rapid growth over the last 20 years of 2580 - 2600 AJ, the UEF grew for another 20 years, getting dizzy on their power and decided to strike out against human Kingdoms for revenge. They began with Gelus as it was the closest, but many elves did not want to do such a thing and it led to a 5 year civil war from 2620 through 2624 AJ. This devasted the UEF as elf and halfling killed each other. It was a terrible time, especially since halflings that had begun to be born following the Angelic War were no longer insane and only those born before risked going insane anymore and killing people. This brought back terrible memories for many and drove some of the original halflings insane that had not gone. In the end, it split the UEF Kingdom in two, and those who wished to continue lashing out against humans formed the Kingdom of Badelf, closest to the the Kingdom of Galus, while those who were sick of fighting formed the Kingdom of Blantress, wanting nothing to do with fighting again after the horror of the Elven Civil War. The elves who did not plan to stand for what the Kingdom of Badelf planned left altogether on ships with contempt for both kingdoms to aid the other races.
The Kingdom of Ama'dorei rose from those elves who left on said ships, though it did rise up right away. The elves sailed and found an island that was once part of the Island Nations that was now underneath what was once the continent of Matias due to the shifting of Tareh. The Azuha that were still on it from Shogun Ty's preparations to make her own kingdom aided the elves in taking over the buildings and lands they were leaving behind over the next 10 years so while they left, the elves and halflings that were moving in were able to make the island their own. By 2635 AJ they were finished and declared the island the Kingdom of Ama'dorei, though they had long way to go over the next 50 years.
Due to being on an island, they focused on two things to begin with: their fleet/army and their building skills. The elves and halflings who lived there began to excel at construction with wood and later using their magik crystal and the Earth mana to infuse ships of earth and crystal that were unlike any other ship in the lands. When the Guild of Wizards showed up in 2650 AJ they allowed them to come in and they coexisted. By the end of the century, the Ama'dorei fleet was the greatest in Tareh and the elves the best builders with their learned earth/crystal techniques. They even aided in keeping the demons out of trouble in the last 20 years or so and it brought down their supplies in doing so, but they focused mostly on helping keep the kingdoms supplied, except Badelf, by shipping goods.
When in 2751-2780 AJ the Kingdom of Badelf began to attack the Kingdom of Gelus again, the Kindgom of Ama'dorei was ready and launched it's fleet to attack in 2752 AJ. Despite the fact Gelus was human oriented and phobic against other races, the elves of Ama'dorei were loyal to the other races and felt it was their duty to stop Badelf. They aided the other Kingdoms over the first 15 years and kept the Badelf elves in check as best they could. When the demons began to act up in the final 15 years of the long, devasting war, they had to begin turning their attention to them as the demons finally found their island and began to do raids with Demon Ships and attacking and trying to steal their elves for the knowledge of the ships. It was a dark time for the kingdom. When the war ended, the Kingdom of Ama'dorei was exhausted treasurey wise and the fleets were damaged heavily, so they needed to spend the next decades shipping goods for others, especially the Empire, to restore wealth. This meant the Empire's church priests began to visit more as 'payment'.
While the Empire kept the Demon Realm in check and peace reigned, things were peaceful until 2845 AJ when Badelf attacked Gelus again for a short 5 year war. Ama'dorei once again sailed against them and blockaded the southern area and kept the ships of Badelf from traveling, so they could only use their land armies. This kept the Badelf Kingdom from getting supplies from anyone but Blantress. In the end, the Badelf Kingdom surrounded in 2850 AJ and brought about the Forced Check Era.
Recent History/Politics:
Ama'dorei is in league with the Kingdom of Neer and Coalition of Amatsune in back door politics to police both the Kingdom of Badelf, but also to keep an eye on Umbal and find out what they are up to, despite there being no real red flags yet, the Demon Realm, and the Empire with it's religion. They have many treaties with other kingdoms, except Umbal and Badelf, naturally. Feeling it is upon themselves to stop Badelf, they have taken it upon themselves to be ready and are always ready, making notes and allying with any who will aid them.
Their King, or leader, is King Raiul and his wife, Azzy. They have five children, Tina, Luna, Artemius, Zal, and Chain. The royal family works on keeping Ama'dorei focused on their goals and ready to make sure Badelf is not a threat to humans. They also are keeping an eye on the Demon Realm that has become a big threat, as well as the leylines.
