Noble Families of Gelus:

Royal Family - Gelus:

"We keep an eye to the future at all times, but never forget the past."

Current Members: King Julius Gelus, age 37, son of the deceased King Ulius Gelus and Queen Lucy Cromwell-Gelus. His wife, Tywana Stonewall-Gelus, died at the young age of 23 during a Badelf attack.

They have two living daughters, Julianna Gelus, age 16, and Juliet Gelus, age 14.

The Gelus family has ruled the Kingdom since the downfall of old Queen Anora's bloodline due to the plague and the McTreggor bloodline taking over after that - due to the two bloodlines mixing - until the beheading of Agren McTreggor in 2540 AJ during a war with Badelf, a man named Gelus Angtui took over the Kingdom threw shrewd planning. A Purge occured due to what people say were the enemies of the Kingdom and most of the McTreggor family was wiped out, thought to be gone until Mimi McTreggor appeared recently. The Kingdom took on Gelus' first name and beginning with Angtui's son, their first name became their last name as they ruled the Kingdom from then on out, having never lost the Kingdom since.

They appointed many noble families that supported their rise to power, 12 of them, to the position of Advisory Council. While some families have risen and fallen over the hundreds of years, a few have never left the table - the few that helped secure the original King's rise.

Advisory Council Seats:

Hill: 1, Lev: 2, Cromwell: 3, Stonewall: 4, Farron: 5, Trados: 6, Fishter: 7, Merchantos: 8, ?: 9, ?: 10, 11:, ?, Linerisas: 12,

---

Hill Family:

Crest Symbol: Mountain

"Be unmoveable like a mountain, but wary of those who would erode you."

Head Family Member: Robert Hill, age 60. A crafty old man, who has the ear of the King, he's been on the advisory council for not only Julius Gelus, but Ulius Gelus. Robert Hill has the highest seat of power on the advisory council, his being the oldest seat position and most powerful.

His only son, Francis Hill, age 22, is set to succeed him, and fancies the princess, Julianna Gelus. A weak and sniveling rich man to many, he seems to have none of the power of others, and acts like he has no direction in life.

Other Branches: The Hill Family is quite large, and there are many branches. Robert Hill has a younger brother - Ricardo Hill, age 45. Quite wealthy and a politician, too, he doesn't live in Tri'hill like his brother, but lives in a ranch area between Seacrest and Cromwell. His family is quite large with three sons, all in their twenties, and two daughters, in their teens, and the fact his sister, and Robert's sister, lives with him and his family - and she has 2 sons and 1 daughter too.

Their ranch and farm land is huge and they are quite powerful over the region, and even have some influence in Seacrest, with the ships and despite the fact the Seacrest family is powerful there and rich. Ricardo is how the Hill family has a seatrade at all.

There are definitely cousins and other branches that are related and tied to other families, but they are not powerful and will not move without these, or will not come into play unless something special happens.

---

Seacrest Family:

Crest Symbol: Kraken

"The winds guide our sails, on land, sea, love, politics, and life. It can change directions at any moment."

Head Family Members: Monica Seacrest currently and Denise Seacrest. An series of explosions killed the majority of the family.

Denise Seacrest, age 17, and one younger brother, Don Seacrest, age 12. Not much is known about the son, but Denise Seacrest is known to be a social butterfly, enjoying social balls and events, and haven gone to the Cultural School of Arts. Being a Culturist as some call them. She doesn't seem to have attached herself to any males yet, despite her age, much to the chatter of many. Thrust into the head of her family after her father was killed, she resides in Seacrest. What she is up to right now is unknown until investigated.

Other Family Branches: Bob Seacrest, dead, had two sons and four daughters, ranging from 6 to 15. A few died. He was into the sailing trade and goes around Tareh, getting shipments and stuff. This was where the family gets their outside goods, and has good relations with Alryhl. They also have many, many warships, unlike most families, due to Lev Seacrest's seat on the Advisory Council. Currently, the two sons and one daughter survives.

The sister, Monica Seacrest, is 23 and currently unmarried. She owns all the land outside the city, all the grasslands, and the farmers and whatnot are her tenants; she is known to be very fair to them. She resides in Tri'hill currently and is running the family.

Like the Hill Family, they have many cousins and other branches that have intermingled, making them a large and powerful family with connections all over the Kingdom, and into Neer and Alryhl itself, unlike Hill.

---

Linerisas Family:

Crest Symbol: Tidal Wave

"Like a small wave, we grow bigger and bigger, engulfing anything standing in our way. One can either ride with us, or be knocked over."

Head Family Members: Lady Lea Linerisas, age 65, is the head of the family after her husband died from a sandwich she made - overweight she said and the sandwich popped the cake as she put it. Though being rich enough to have servants make it, she felt like trying her hand at it for once. Seemed like the Lord of the Linerisas family couldn't take a change to the diet at that point in his obese career.

The Linerisas Family is a branch off from the Seacrest family, that a 100 years ago or so seperated due to marriages and ideals. They began to get richer and more powerful on their own, with trade and sea routes as their bread and butter, more so than even the Seacrest Family, so that despite the fact the Seacrest has warships and seatrade, the Linerisas family outdoes them in shipping, merchant trade, and sea shipping, and have gotten a huge hold interest in foreign kingdoms around the world, and made friends and allies there. They also have land about the landscape, including to the north and south, where they have many tenants.

Dead last on the Advisory Council thanks to her late husband, the position went to Lea Linerisas' son, Leo Linerisas, age 29. Due to the fact he has not had a wife, or dated much, it's clear that the Lady Lea is quite worried about the future of the family as far as heirs goes for the main head branch. With the death of head of the Seacrest family, Lev Seacrest, Leo Linerisas runs Seacrest currently until either Monica Seacrest or Denise Seacrest can wrestle control back.

Other Branches: There is indeed other branches and if Leo Linerisas fails, it will go to them. Lady Lea Linerisas has two sisters and one brother, and while they are not Linerisas, they can opt to take the name to reap the rewards of the family, and there are cousins of the Lord Linerisas that died; the family has many to it, but much hinges on Leo and Lea.

---

Cromwell Family:

Crest Symbol: A Wall

"We stand resolute in all our actions, so that there is no path but the one we allow."

Head Family Members: Byron Jr. Cromwell, age 45, took over the household from his ailing father, Bryron Cromwell, age 70, who while alive, is in no shape to be the head family member any longer. Byron Jr. is on the advisory council and on the third seat; his wife is currently dead, and so he spends most of his time focused on his job on the seat and back in the seat, through he does have mistresses. He has two sons, the eldest son being Fritz Cromwell, age 22, known to be a ladies' man and not having settled down yet; while intelligent and capable tactican and battle leader, he seems to be untameable as far as marriage goes. Fritz is nearly unstoppable in battle with a sword, it is said. Wilheim Cromwell, age 20, has shown no interest in women, strangely, though it is said that men are seen in his room at night. Very sissy like, he prefers to draw and paint, and went to school in Blantress. Their sisters, Betty Cromwell, age 17, is the eldest daughter, and is a proper lady, talented in many fields and knowledge in the Work Process Buildings, like Fritz, incase anything happens to him. She has many marriage offers due to her intelligence and beauty. Wilma Cromwell, age 15, is a wild partier.

They practically control the city and the soldiers, and the ore processing plants.

Other Branches: The Cromwell family is one of the oldest - their family is numerous and large, and all over Gelus. The next biggest branch is in Stonewall under Ryon Cromwell, age 40, and his 5 children and wife.

---

Fishter Family:

Crest Symbol: Fish with hook in it's mouth

"You must never let on you have a hook inside whatever you're reeling in; you must slowly bait them with whatever they will swallow and when it is too late, pull them up."

Head Family Members: Fubrank Fishter, age 43, is head of the household and seventh on the Advisory Council. His wife, Trisha Fishter, age 37, is his partner in all things outside the Advisory Council. They have 5 children as well; the eldest daughter, and child, is Trish Fishter, age 22, and highly intelligent and cunning. She has yet to marry, which is unusual, and has no suitors - she has focused on the magik tech part of the family's work and the taking over the buildings that produce them. The eldest son, and second child, is Fubrank Jr. Fishter, age 17, currently having a marriage offer to Betty Cromwell. He is taking over the relations to Neer part of the family business and is a great, smooth talker and business man, and thinker and diplomat, and is thought he might take over the AC seat one day. The remaining children are daughter, son, daughter. The 12 year old daughter, Matty Fishter, currently is causing problems for the family by not wanting to get married, despite being expected to and believes in wild activist causes. The family wants to marry her off to a rich noble family with influence.

The Fishters have their hands in producing magik tech and are very, very good at it. Their talent is unrivaled. They also bring in produce and food from the north, as well as rare fish and are known for the best fish in Gelus, and in Neer. Their talent with it is legendary and they are sought out for it. They also have connections throughout Neer for trade and somehow always seem to get what they need, as if they have connections.

Other Branches: Unknown

---

Garnif Family:

Crest Symbol: Hammer

"Anything can be made with one's hands, and anything can be taken with them."

Head Family Members: Herbert Garnif, age 45, has made his riches recently by playing it smart and safely. Not even on the Advisory Council, and likely never to be, Herbert has pulled the Garnifs up from a very rich business/merchant family, into a high class noble family by making connections and knowing where and when to apply his knowledge. And having smart siblings to help back him up. His grandfather got them into the ore buisiness, and through that their family prospered greatly, quickly rising up. Using that gold, they applied it to buy more land and business, quickly gaining more of the mountain, and the farmland in the area, building a mighty fortress to guard the ore, then farmland to cultivate the land get families to be tied to their own; Herbert's father than began to buy ships to begin shipping trades with other Kingdoms, careful of not angering the Seacrests and even the Linerisas.

Herbert, then, and his family began to make family connections where they could, and applying their riches took it to the next level; they were able to make connections in Blantress and Alrhyl as far as trade went with their ore; the former not needing it for war, but their buildings and art, the latter needing it for their Templars and war machines, a great coup - which catapulated the Garnifs into a noble family, and allowed them to buy more land up north, since so much land was taken around Seacrest. So far plans to get a foothold in Amatsune and Ama'dorei have failed.

Herbert has many children, around 7 of them. His eldest son is Herbert the Second Garnif, age 25, and has been working to take over after his father. His second child is Jerrid Garnif, age 22, and seemed driftless, not finding the business to be his thing, and while doing well at Blantress' schools, passing with A's, was on course for being a drain on their gold until he trained until a master swords trainer and seemed to enjoy it. Their third child, and eldest daughter, Maka Garnif, followed in Jerrid's footsteps, for whatever reason, though she was not a drain on resources, and did well in schooling and went to the same trainer. After that, the next children are in their 15s, then 10s, both boys, and a girl at the age of 9 who seems a bit odd like Maka, though more so, named Hua Garnif, age 9. The final child is age 4, a boy.

Other Branches: Herbert has two siblings, a brother and sister. His brother, Tyler Garnif, age 40, has some combat, but is mostly overseeing the ore operations and the fortress up north, leaving the business side to Herbert. More decisive than Herbert, many thought he or his sister should have been in charge, but both were younger. He keeps the ore business operating soundly and on time, and believes that since things are running so well, and they have so many children, that there will be problems with the next generation not knowing what a good day's work is if they do not find something for them to do. He has four children. His eldest son, Gerbil Garnif, age 18, has been a slacker for most of his life, to his annoyance, and he cannot find anything for him to do since he finished his schooling in Blantress. His eldest daughter, Tiana Garnif, age 20, has been following him in learning the ore operations and is likely to take over with her keen insight and knowledge, and despite her beauty and grace, is stuck leading than being able to go out and marry and attend balls. His next two children are around 10 and 12.

Maria Garnif, age 31, has a keen insightful mind and is in charge with the shipping operations and their politics. Trying to expand their operations to other kingdoms, and make sure they can get their ore to more kingdoms, Maria's goal is to make more gold, though she doesn't mind helping good causes where she can as well, much like Herbert. Maria's focus is on expanding the Garnif family name across the sea and land, and she knows many people outside Gelus, and is the one to turn to when there is trouble. She has a home both in Seacrest, and in Cromwell. Her husband died 6 years ago. She has three children, her eldest son, Bilbi Garnif, age 16, and while he excelled in school, he's yet to show any signs of being ready to progress in the real world. Her two daughters, ages 12 and 9, Maria has been prepping to follow in her footsteps.

UPDATE: Part of the Garnif family was attacked by the King's men after their alliance was learned of after the battle of Stonewall. Maria Garnif's family was attacked, since Tyler Garnif was up north and Herbert Garnif was not present, abroad in Blantress with Herbert the Second Garnif. Jerrid Garnif and Maka Garnif were already with the Princess' team. After that, the next two kids went with him, boys. Unknown to Rica's group, at home was his wife, his youngest son, and the girl that Wyrd talked to, Hua Garnif, who had Maka's insight. Thankfully, all of Tyler Garnif's family lived up north, but Maria Garnif and her family lived in the city, except Bilbi, who was with the princess' group, too. The King's team attacked both families, though Rica only came across Maria Garnif's attack and managed to rescue her and her 12 year old daughter, Sarah Garnif, the 9 year old dying. It is said of Hua Garnif's family that only two bodies were found, a 4 year old boy and an older woman, so Hua Garnif might still live, but where is the 9 year old girl at?

Cardinal Family:

Crest Symbol: Bird

"On wings of tomorrow we can fly anywhere today."

Head Family Members: Robin Cardinal, age 35, and his wife, Blue Cardinal, age 32, are head of their family. While not on the advisory council, this rising star of a noble family has quickly been getting richer and richer due to their research into mana and leylines. Robin's grandfather discovered how to make the mana bubble and that protected the nobles houses from the tainted air of Cromwell, and quickly made the Cardinal household millions of gold. From there, the household quickly rose to prominence with their inventions, and looking into mana and how to use it with tech magik. This has put them at odds horriblely with the Fishter family, since the Fishter family builds tech magik for Gelus and supplies it, and the Cardinal family is building better tech magik and studying mana and using mana to do more and more.

The Cardinal family has all daughters, with the eldest daughter being Sing Cardinal, age 16, and then Song Cardinal, age 15, and finally Gale Cardinal, age 14. Sing Cardinal has followed in their footsteps with working on discovering how to use mana, with Song strangely devoted to combat and estranged from her family despite holding their beliefs, and Gale showing no signs ofwhat she will do yet.

The family is known for it's radical extremist ideas from Gelus - equal equality, beliefs in making Gelus intergrate with other kingdoms, more freedom, etc.

Other Branches: Robin has three brothers, one of which has the same talents in Anora, and has a household of his own. That brother is named Jay Cardinal, age 30. The other two brothers just use the gold and have fortresses throughout Gelus.

---

Farron Family:

Crest Symbol: Lightning Bolt

"Lightning never strikes the same place twice; never hit your enemy the same way twice and always leave them second guessing what you plan to do."

Head Family Member: Sage Farron, age 40, and his wife, Carol Farron, age 32, are the head of their family. A noble family from Stonewall, Sage is 5th on the Advisory Council. An old family that helped Gelus gain control after the fall of the former royal family, the Farron family fell into the middle as far as power and was more concern with nobility and power over land and people, and politics, then anything else. They made sure to train the firstborn son in nobility and politics, and the remaining sons in Knighthood and marrying them off for alliances, while their daughters were all married off for family alliegences. It is said there is a Farron in every major family, and the one in the Linerisas off shoot branch is likely waiting on the old crone and her son to kick off. With their focus on politics and owning as much land as they can, except in their city of focus, Stonewall, since that belongs to the Stonewalls, they get their wealth from land tax from their serfs, family alliances, and trade among cities, and trade with Neer and the Empire. They are the biggest family who does trading with Neer, along with the Fishters.

Their eldest son is Harrison Farron, age 25, currently engaged to the second daughter of the Stonewall family, Ruby Stonewall, age 16. He is setting up after their father in Stonewall. Their second son was currently running Lightning Tower Town, Striker Farron, age 23, was a great Knight Noble, and competant leader. Chosen head of the Tower Town's mansion at the age of 19, he died when the tower was destroyed, followed by the town.

Cissi Farron, age 19, is the only daughter and so far is waiting to be engaged, as the family is holding out for the best offer, due to her extreme beauty. With the current civil war, her worth has likely gone up. She is known to be highly intelligent and cunning.

Noble Families of Neer:

Royal Family - Di'neer:

"All races must work together and be as one, because we are all the same: we all want a future for ourselves, and our children. We all want to love, and be loved." - Mercy

Current Members: Queen Zegretta Di'neer, age 16, took over after her parents died recently and tragically. She's a young princess, half-Azuha, half human, so that she can hide her looks, thanks to training during her time at Amatsune. Despite the fact her aunt and uncle could have taken it until she was a bit older, they passed on the responsibilities. She has a younger sister, Fi'anna Di'neer, age 11, who looks full Azuha, and Henry Di'neer, who looks human; Fi has blonde hair and Henry has red hair.

Despite her young age, Zegretta has kept the people together since taking over and is well loved and respected by her people, so far not having any real crisis to deal with. She has the support of her Aunt and Uncle, who have taken more and more power from the throne to help her out as well.

Other Family: Zegretta's aunt, Tyranna Di'neer, age 33, oversees Neer's fleet, and is a Grand Admiral; well respected by her officers, she has protected Neer well and is a capable tactician and officer. She has many warships under her command has been in service since she was 16. She is greatly respected and has many sea Knights under her command. She spends a good deal of time lately in the capital.

Zegretta's uncle, and Tyranna's twin, is Timothy Di'neer, age 33 naturally, and is a politican, and is in Neer's politican courts; the monarch has an open Senate now that allows the people's voice to be heard and Timothy is Head of the Senate, helping to make sure the people's voice is overseen and respected. The people look to Timothy to make sure their voices reach Zegretta and he's well respected in the land for being a peaceful, well respected, and level headed man. Both twins are blonde and have no Azuha traits that have been noted.

There are many other branches, cousins and whatnot, that have mixed with other noble families over the centuries, making the Di'neer family strong, but these are the main family.
