The Kingdom of Neer:
History:
Known as the Kingdom of Nuege from 0 AJ - 2584 AJ, it under went many changes, including being the center point of the Angelic War under Queen Mercy Di'Neer, who harbored the Angel and her team against the Gods. Despite the Gods attacking the capital and trying to destroy the Kingdom and it's ally Navarro, the Kingdom held out underwent 100 years of peace under Queen Mercy and her first born child, Arethia. Her first two children, born under the missing Kaelan Di'Neer who vanished fighting the tyrannical God Gartareh - who became famous to all Nuegians - were famous due to this birthright, so Arethia having a kitsune like tail was overlooked by the human population easily. Also Nuege was known for being the first kingdom to bring elves, azuha, catmews, and the newly rising Bunpers into it's Kingdom to all live together in peace and it was working.
Kaely, the second born, became a famous General of the armies and became famous in her own right, her lineage becoming known for giving birth to famous generals, while Arethia's kids, while not having tails everytime, raised the children. Mercy had one other child with a noble, and they became part of the nobility that helped stablize the voting and whatnot. The trinity of children helped support Mercy's ideals after her early death, some said of a broken heart.
Arethia, living longer than her third sibling, and a little longer than Kaely, who despite having what some suspected to be Kitsune DNA, reigned for over 80 years easily, giving up the throne to her children not due to old age but because it was their time she felt. This was during the plague that was striking Tareh, and due to the tightnit population Nuege formed, they managed to keep their human population from suffering as much as the rest of Tareh - despite this, Tareh as a whole saw most humans depleted severely.
By the time the virus ran it's course 50 years later, Arethia's child, Nancy Di'Neer had ruled through most of it and was tired by the time it was over, handing the reigns over to Queen Liliane when the virus seemed to be over in 2540 and waiting another 10 years to give it to her in 2550. 34 years later, after witnessing the Kingdom of Navarro become the Kingdom of Gelus due to the Elven splits and attacks occuring - including some of their own elven population leaving - Liliane decided it was time for a change and rename Nuege the Kingdom of Neer in 2584. It was also during this that Ama and Tsukiyomi within Neer, who helped grantly during the virus crisis in Nuege/Neer, began to discuss leaving it to join the Azuha who had never joined the Kingdom and were seeking to establish their own true kingdom instead of living in settlements without a real global voice under the Azuha Ty.
When Ty, having had enough of group of Elves who continued to attack humans and make trouble, began to gather Azuha to make a Coalation of them, finally game to Neer to ask Ama and Tsukiyomi to join them as leaders in 2635 AJ, they left with Amazo, along with many Azuha, though they remained friendly and allies with Neer - all this occuring under the reign of Liliane's son, Oscar.
What followed for Neer was dealing with global events mostly, keeping the Demon Realm's Asmodeus in check and dealing with the elven attacks from the Kingdom of Badelf. This exhausted most kingdoms on a global level so that everyone was left with their supplies exhausted. And a sad turn of events in the war with the demons, that was mostly led by the Empire of Alryhl at this point, when the Guild of Wizards were dealing with it and many male Wizards were poisoned with a sickness. While not all were infected, it can spread to male wizards only by touch. This happened in 2789 AJ. For more on this see the organizations tab. While Neer created the GoW, at this point it was spread around the world to any who would accept it. The original base being at Neer. After the events, it was split in two and the main HQ of the Mason order was moved to Neer. While the newer form of the Guild founded itself in the Empire. Now the two orders are at odds with their ideals.
Recent History/Politics:
The Kingdom of Neer has joined the Coalition of Amatsune and the Kingdom of Ama'dorei in back door politics to police both the Kingdom of Badelf, but also to keep an eye on Umbal and find out what they are up to, despite there being no real red flags yet, the Demon Realm, and the Empire with it's religion. By entering a treaty with each other, if one kingdom is attacked, the other two will come to the defense of the others. Neer also has trading treaties with Gelus and the Empire, as well as Blantress, due to the failing harvests around the world and the leylines acting up.
The current Queen of Neer is Queen Zegretta, named after friends of the family of Di'neer. She is in her mid-teens and became the ruler after her mother and father fell ill and died. Though her aunt and uncle could have taken over, they were both in the military and diplomatic core respectively and many nobles felt this would be a take over if they did so. She has two younger siblings, a sister and a brother, named Fi'anna and Henry.
Neer is a chilly land, but it has many warm spots thanks to leylines that bring magik with fire through them, so there are areas with harvest, forest, etc. Mercy, the capital, is built in an area of land that is almost paradise with year-round temper that is steady and not turbulent and the gardens grow there all year long with flowers that bloom. Neer's fleet is overseen by Zegretta's aunt, Admiral Tyranna, and the political side is seen by her uncle, Timothy. Neither are married are they are twins.
