Damian Rahl is a German native of Earth who grew up moving from one country to another with his parents giving him a broad exposure to language and culture. The constant moving around was in response to his unique biological physiology; he has a rare form of hemophelia where his body metabolizes blood at an increased rate and requires that he receive transfusions on a regular basis. Thankfully, his metabolism ignores blood types, making him a universal recipient.
Early on he demonstrated a keen intellect and an ease of understanding complex formulas and calculations, this started him down a path towards the sciences beginning with chemistry. This culminated in his first doctorate in the field of Theoretical Genetics; which he has put to use until recently by working at the EarthGov Medical Division’s Infectious Disease Center studying various level 4 and level 5 contagions and developing antigens to them.
While working at there Damian has continued to further his education by delving into a completely separate scientific field and recently achieved his second doctorate in Quantum Physics, a field of study that combines Temporal and Quantum Mechanics along with Theoretical Physics.
Between these missions Damian has trained in field and trauma medicine in order to better assist those he comes across, even taking on the Medical Doctors credo of "Do no harm". In addition to this, in order to protect himself and his patients, he has trained in un-armed combat in order to compliment his ability to administer drugs through contact; practicing mainly with disabling compounds, sedatives and paralytics.
Daiman was brought in for his skills with physics during the Reality Quake. Taking the opportunity to get a bit more involved Damian has worked quietly with some of the members of the Special Ops and Black Ops teams, though so far his unique capabilities haven't been asked for.
