Having a clean slate, she's out to define herself by learning all she can. Having found herself a Fauna, she aims to understand what it means to be one and if it inhibits her from being more, but while she finds that discovery she has become reliant upon Asarar Cypher's support and direction and is willing to follow her every request, even if it's less than morally sound or reasonable out of gratitude, potentially making her dangerous.

After a long stint with Asarar and Cypher, Ylva decided to run for President of Kumen after Tora stepped down against Riki and she came close but she narrowly lost. Riki decided to have her become her Vice President and since then she has done a lot, doing a lot of her own agendas along with Riki and helping train Riki on the side. After the Mirror Universe combined with the Prime Universe, Ymir began to buy up a lot of the Corporations that had fallen into ruins since Riki and Ylva have terraformed Kumen and the people have moved out of the city and across the planet into the wide open spaces, leaving the major city mostly empty and barely functioning these days, despite it being the capital.
