Daemons - Dark Lands:

The Dark Lands ruled by Shinobu have been around nearly as long as the Hapian Dynasty. This is one reason the two Kingdoms have been at war with each other so often, besides the fact the Hapians of the past considered the Daemons to be nothing more than higher forms of monsters. Which some could argue to be the case due to the fact that Daemons and monsters do have some ancestry between them. Long ago, the Tarehian God Autumn traveled back in time and had set herself up in the Dark Lands. There she had a hand in both the monsters and the Daemon threads.

From there, the leadership of the Daemon Lands expanded into it becoming whoever the most powerful Daemon would rule - usually the case was that a certain few noble families held the power due to the fact they were extremely strong in their bloodlines. The Daemon nobles kept it this way as they expanded over the years and Shinobu's family came into power over the nobles until they tried to kill her parents off. Then they almost killed her sister off, making her a slave. And then they almost killed her off.

Shinobu has managed to eventually bring the nobles under control and has forged an alliance with Alita in the Legion. The vampire has wed her and the two have had a child between the two which signals that the child will be of great importance. And the nobles will always be after it.

They also have learned that Autumn, it seems, might have gone further back in time and had more to do with the Dark Lands further in the past then was once believed, but what she was doing then and how it relates to the current Magic Emperor crisis is unknown at the time.
