If you have 7 special, then you can spend all 7 points to use your Race's special 7th move, or you can use a few points to weaker moves and lose access to the 7th move. Augmented Body Lv. 1 This allows the Samurai to double their speed stat, whatever that is, for three turns. Afterwards, they will have burnt out their body's speed functions and their Speed Stat will drop to 1 for 10 Turns until returning to normal. Augmented Weapons Lv. 1 The hidden weapons inside a Samurai can be deadly. Depending on what type of weapons you have inside you - blades, guns, etc. When you unleash them, you will do double damage with your normal attacks for 10 turns. [Double Normal Damage, 10 Turns+]
Augmented Weapons Lv. 2 The augmented weapons can be used to blow a hole through thick concrete to allow entrances that normally people would have to hack their way through. This sets off the alarms though.
Augmented Weapons Lv. 3 The augmented weapons can be used to surprise enemies and get the initiative for the group, giving all players a chance to attack. [Initiative]
Augmented Weapons Lv. Max This unlocks the Augmented Limit Break.

Augmented Power Lv. 1 The Samurai can increase their power to move environmental obstacles and knock/push aside powerful obstacles. This increases their Strength Stat by 3 Points for 10 Turns. [Strength Stat +3 for 10 Turns+]
Augmented Power Lv. 2 The Samurai can increase their power output to knock themselves out of a Countering scenario, meaning if they are engaged in spending points on Countering with a player, then can play this Mod instead and end it by slamming the other player back and winning.

Attack Moves

Attack: Kaylin switches her Vector and MP7 to full auto and fires until the magazines are empty in both weapons, tracking her target's movement each micro-second. [11 HP damage, EyeMod must be active]
Defense: Kaylin uses her guns in burst mode to shoot down any incoming ranged attacks. [Block Attack Move/Special Ranged Move]
Misc: Kaylin tunes out the sounds of fighting while boosting the audio receivers in her ears, allowing her to track movements within 20 yards without actually seeing a target. Attacks are possible during this tracking using high-penetration, HE or Frag rounds. [5 Turns+ sightless tracking]

Attack 1: Kaylin temporarily 'connects' with the gun(s) she has in her hands, suplimenting the rounds with an elemental variance and particle effect. [11 HP damage on attacks Wind additional effect 5 Turns+]
Attack 2: Kaylin temporarily strengthens the density of her armor/durarmor/body to nullify one regular/special attack or reduce a Limit Break by 1/2. [Weakens strength by -1 each time used]
Defense: Kaylin loses herself in the heat of combat for 3 turns, gaining the ability to 'curve' her shots around obstacles in direct line of sight. [Curve shot works up to a limited effect, two or three blocks on field, or up to limit on non]

Background History


Kaylin is a Mark 7 Biotect, her assignment aboard the Aquarius was an apparent Public Relations move on behalf of its Corporate sponsors as part of the security detail; her specialization in reconnaisance/observation and sniping. The Corporations decided that the best way to silence the Bio-Synthetic Rights movement was to place a Mark 7 on the ship, give it the opportunity to interact and learn on its own, to express its individuality; or so they have stated publibly.

Kaylin is un-naturally quiet, even amongst the members of the security team, spending her time alone and studying various weapon schematics earning her the cognomen of "gunny" or "gun-freak". When part of the crew vanished during the initial warp from Kumen space, Kaylin was promoted to oversee the Ships Armory and Firing Range, a suitable task for someone with her apparent obsession. Since then she has turned a back room inside the armory into her own personal quarters, never far from the weapons she loves, never having to leave except for the necessities. The remaining members of the security team have learned that the Range is closed on specific days so that she can go through the inventory, field strip, clean and have her own range time with some of the largest guns that can be safely fired on the ship.

Since the launch of the Aquarius Kaylin has slowly come out of her solitary shell and started interacting with the crew, getting to know them outside an official capacity. With this exposure it became apparent that Kaylin was lacking in certain aspects of her personality programming; she could experience emotions and sensations however her responses were extremely limited. Through Gors curiosity the need for additional programming became apparent, and over the course of several months he worked to create an all-inclusive software patch for Kaylin that would allow her to experience things in the same ways as others. Having become a sort of ‘adopted little sister’ to Cookie, Kaylin has sought her advice a great deal in understanding new situations; the new software opening up a great deal of new and embarrassing opportunities for questions and interactions.
 
During the Holiday season of 5990CE Kaylin showed the largest step forward in her development; becoming interested in others in personal and intimate fashions, and in the months since it has blossomed. While Kaylin is currently engaged in a relationship with a fellow Aquarius crew member, it seems open to the inclusion of one other; Kaylin’s sights set on an interest she has had since Christmas…Shion Nue. The only problem is the distance between them and perhaps even Shion’s Mothers.
