The Alien Wars 6:
Fall of Eden

Entry Level Stats:

Rogue Shadow Thief - 3 Perception, 4 Mana

Ninja Shadow Thief - 4 Perception, 3 Strength

---

The Rogue Shadow Thief is more combat oriented, with backstabbing skills and dual wielding capabilities mods that you can learn to hold two weapons in one item slot. Their mods are focused on tricks and traps, as well as light combat. Most of their abilities are and mods you will find are combat based, with light Magik abilities that allow them to set up their reflexes abilities. These do not really buff them but their weapons and strikes, or allow them to enter a crit state or make themselves invisible for short periods. Otherwise, Rogues are weak to magik and are encouraged to strike out Mages quickly and before they are seen.

Rogues are more known for their trap settings and strikes, and can with mods have two light weapons in one Item Slot. With higher speeds and reflexes, Rogue Shadow Thieves can make for great assassins as well as Ninja Shadow Thieves if they are played right.

They are more likely to be detected by Psions than their Nina counterpart, unless they set up moves and stick to the shadows.

---

The Ninja Shadow Thief is more stealth oriented, preferring not to engaged. They stick to the shadows and avoid combat since their mods do not, at first, open themselves up to it. Their mods are able to strike from shadows and help one to fade away into them easier. Later on, they can learn to fight like a ninja at higher levels.

Once they are forced into combat, they do have some fighter moves since later down the road they can move fast and strike hard like the Ninja in Final Fantasy 1. These are more Assassin Class types, striking from the shadows with their mods to try to get an instant kill and are less focused on traps. They are incredibly weak to Mages, having no types of weapon buffs like Rogues, and while they can stand up to combat, they do not focus on it like Rogue. When they get into one on one combat, it's meant to be quick and clean so they can move onto another place. Psions are less likely to detect them, especially with their move sets.

Both groups have traditional lockpicking, stealth moves, and other goods that they can share between them in the Mods section. Shadow Thieves, a lot of times, compete with regular thieves. Players might have moves or skill sets that let them try to hack doors or have toolsets on them and lockpicks in their item slots to do what you can do. But being a Shadow Thief is more than just being an excellent thief - you can move along the shadows and as you grow strong, move through them and use shadows to create duplicates. And see through them, to strike.

Below is the Shadow Thief bonuses as well as suggestions if you wish to pick them - note you do not have to follow the suggestions.
