After the incidence on PAX and his ‘death’, Chad took advantage after making his escape and spent the next 35+ years in the shadows doing what he thought he wanted, bouncing from one thing to the next hiding and enjoying the life he always wanted until something changed and he restarted the Weapons Project under his command, creating a shadow organization that began to pull strings behind the scenes. He was pulled out of the shadows partially when his daughter Aya was used as a pawn causing him to begin taking a more forward approach in things. While his allegiance still stands with his Weapons and organization, he seems to be showing some inclination in trying to form a bond with his granddaughters.

Chad is abrasive, blunt and rarely trusts people. His OCD, while apparent in his early life, seems to on the surface, lessened. Time will only tell if putting himself back around the old life he grew tired of will bring it back.
