Abilities

Whoops: Kaori overloads her weapon with too many explosives at once, unleashing a heavy blast that knocks her off her feet but has a potentially wide blast radius. Of course, there are all too many ways this can go wrong.
Safecracker: Kaori can shape an explosive charge and attach it to an enemy or object, although with her limited experience, these often may result in mere burns.

Beliefs and Goals


As a gamer, Kaori has a sense of justice and believes strongly in the power of friendship. Now that she has friends, they are the ones she most wants to protect, but she would be happy to save the world if it came to it, too.

 

Background History


Kaori is a bit of a mystery. No one seems to know where she came from, herself included. Although she doesn't show clear signs of amnesia, she
doesn't seem to have much to say about her past at all beyond the last year. What she recalls beyond that often seems like she's just gotten
mixed up with video games, and is likely to be false.

Pulled into things after her coincidental discovery during the parade celebrating 20 years of peace, she became quick friends with Yuki as they
bonded over video games. Feeling happy, understood, and less lonely, she wondered if she could simply not leave. And so, she didn't.

Considering herself a gamer, she always keeps a handheld game system at her side, although where she got it is a bit of a mystery as she appears to have been homeless before she met the Mizukazes and Nues. Although her combat aptitude appears low, she has proven herself to have respectably decent skill with things electronical and mechanical.
