<DeathStar> 6* Warren leans back, assigning areas for each team, making maps for the team captains so that the rooms can be assigned by squad, as well as equipment, entertainment lounges, etc. Vodka sets up an office in the doctor's office, bringing with her various equipment

<Sathen> 6*Ori raises an eyebrow* I'd be careful of calling my mother a 'hussy', she may be rich but she does pack a good punch.

<DeathStar> 6* Warren ends the call and hits a button, calling the team over
<kalonZombie> 6*Mi'Na picks up Jennifer and heads to the meeting, Hale and Ethan heading that way as well

<Sathen> 6*Rea peers over at his comm unit and sighs, grabbing a towel before heading up to the new meeting location. Ori moves over to sit with the others while regarding Hope*
<Kemonohime> <Hope> My mamas could take her out in one shot!" She makes a hand gun motion

<Sathen> Orihime> "And who are your 'mamas'?"
<Seraphna> * Jennifer doesn't seem to have far to go, Michelle peers up at the call and looks to Vodka, then smiles and heads up. Angela gets carried. Angelos appears in a shower cap, and thankfully clothes, he looks about and sits, then takes off the cap.

<DeathStar> <Warren> Now, a few minutes back, I got a call about a murder. A teenager was killed. Female. It matches the profile of another kill a few months back.

<DeathStar> 6* Warren climbs off, moving along. Up ahead at a chapel, a small crowd has gathered, triyng to peer into the windows

<Seraphna> * Angela peers around as Angelos steps out wearing a hat and sunglasses, since when he's dealing with public he does his best to not draw attention to the guy who looks like Alexander Cran. Jennifer peers around as well.

<Sathen> 6*Rea steps out and follows along, quietly appraising the area and the locals for anything or anyone that doesn't seem to belong*

<DeathStar> <Zephyr> So I looked into the case; the killing doesn't seem to be like our killer with Darien. This one, if it's the same one that the authorities fears, only hits young girls between 9 and 13 before they reach puberty. And if they are religious
<DeathStar> 6* She pushes past the crowd, showing her ID. She has linked up so Hope and Kiseki can see without speaking up and interrupting the others, mostly so they can learn. They'd have to type to get to her attention
<Seraphna> Angelos> "Sounds like a sicko."
<Jackieness> <Josephine> "Any indicators of ritualistic practices involved in the killings?"

<Sathen> Rea> Questions inside and out of public scrutiny.

<DeathStar> 6* When they enter, they see a girl that is dressed in prestine white, looking peaceful, hung up the cross. There would be no sign of trauma if not for the blood that has pooled up on the floor

<DeathStar> 6* Zephyr and Warren both bring up their datapads. <Zephyr> Typically, the girl has done service to her community, or been recognized in some religious compacity. They are always typically beautiful, looking at these pictures, perhaps to match the inner beauty."

<DeathStar> 6* Warren nods and moves to lift up the shirt; underneath, the girl is completely nude. <Zephyr> The child isn't sexually assaulted, but...

<Seraphna> * Jennifer takes a breath but walks up, appraising as a Doctor, since she can definately handle a post mortem exam.
<DeathStar> 6* There is a gaping hole in her chest, where she seems to have been cut into, her heart missing

<Sathen> Rea> The heart is in some beliefs, the core of a persons power and the home of their soul, eating the heart would symbolize absorbing or taking on the power within.
<DeathStar> 6* Warren eyes the datapad. "The bodies are usually laid out in a pose. It's not always hung up, once it was on a flower bed. Another time, for a group who worshipped nature, they found her in a forest clearing with the sun coming down on her perfectly."
<Seraphna> * Jennifer mumbles a bit, closing her eyes and reopening them, examining the cutting work to see if this is someone just cutting out hearts, or someone with surgical expertise.

<Chaintan> <Miyuki> if she was killed here, they wouldnt be able to clean her and keep her in such nice condition without effecting the blood pool or leaving tracks or evidence of clean up

<Sathen> Rea> Somebody who studies the cultural aspects of the groups, but likely isn't a part of those groups except for a brief time. How long is it between the murders?

<Jackieness> <Josephine> *starts inspecting the less public parts of the chapel*
<Chaintan> 6*Miyuki withdraws a vile of salt, beginning to mutter a prayer under her breath as she encircles the girl and blood before placing a mirrored compact on the girls chest and kneeling, praying louder as she begins making various hand gestures
<Chaintan> <Miyuki> find your voice and take form once again in this world, enlighten us with your presence
<DeathStar> 6* The chapel itself seems clear, with no signs of anyone inside. Outside, the people seem distressed. A newscrew is there, the camera crew facing the chapel, the cameraman intently trying to get feed it seems of what is going on
<DeathStar> 6* Miyuki manages to get something
<Chaintan> 6*Miyuki's eyes snap open, the candles bursting alight with cool blue flame
<Seraphna> * Angelos keeps an eye out for people trying to sneak in.
<Chaintan> <Miyuki> speak!
<kalonZombie> 6*Hale moves out and tries to stop the cameraman from recording with polite words "Sir, please, she needs her concentration and that's a distraction
<Sathen> 6*Rea looks out at the crowd, again trying to see if there's anybody that's less curious and fearful of what's going on, and more looking to see what the investigators are doing (beside the news crew)*

<DeathStar> 6* The crew director eyes Hale, being a good distance from the church, and waves the cameraman to record him for "keeping the public down"
<DeathStar> 6* The crewsman eyes him annoyedly, but does so for a few moments before going back to the church
<DeathStar> <Spirit> Where am I?
<Chaintan> <Miyuki> youre in a church
<kalonZombie> 6*Hale says nothing else, having asked politely and didn't even raise his hands
<DeathStar> 6* The spirit seems comforted by that
<kalonZombie> 6*He goes backto keep an eye on things
<Chaintan> <Miyuki> do you remember anything that has happened to you recently
<Sathen> 6*Rea continues scanning the crowd for somebody that seems too interested*
<DeathStar> 6* The crowd in general seems too interested, one of their beloved spiritual children died
<DeathStar> 6* The news director rants about Hale still while the cameraman steps forward for a better shot
<DeathStar> <Spirit> I remember...pain. Being afraid. Praying for help.
<Seraphna> * Angela steps out and composes herself, peering over at the news people.
<Chaintan> <Miyuki> I know it might be hard, but who were you last with
<Sathen> 6*Rea pulls his datapad and sends a request to Warren inside to see which news reporter and channel covered the previous killings*
<Kemonohime> * Hope looks disturbed.
<Seraphna> * Angeloa motions them over.
<Seraphna> * Angela
<DeathStar> 6* Zephyr types to Hope, since she can see everything on the vid. "You okay?"
<DeathStar> <Spirit> My friends... I was going home...then someone grabbed me
<DeathStar> 6* The news director eyes Angela, stepping over as the cameraman continues to film
<Chaintan> <Miyuki>were they familiar to you? what happened after you were grabbed
<kalonZombie> 6*Mi'Na walks out, standing next to Angela
<Seraphna> Angela> "Hey... please be patient. The team is conducting an investigation. As soon as they're done and have collected all we need to catch the creep who did this, we'll be happy to field any questions and give you all the information you need, so long as it doesn't compromise the investigation. Justice for the girl, right?"
<Kemonohime> <Hope> She's... talking to dead people?
<DeathStar> <Spirit> ... no. I hadn't seen him before.
<DeathStar> 6* The news director sighs, but goes back to his cameraman, who kneels, zooming in, tuning the world out
<DeathStar> <Zephyr> *Types* It seems so
<Chaintan> <Miyuki> youre certain? maybe you had seen him in the distance? or at events you worked ar?
<Chaintan> <Miyuki> did he ever say anything to yu?
<Chaintan> <Miyuki> where did he take you
<DeathStar> <Spirit> I am sure.
<DeathStar> <Spirit> I don't remember. I couldn't see. It was dark. I could hear him talking to himself - or talking to something- like he was narrating something
<DeathStar> <Spirit> Then I felt a pinprick and got sleepy
<Chaintan> <Miyuki> like from a play? or maybe a story?
<DeathStar> <Spirit> I don't know. Like he was talking to someone. Like a journal but he wasn't writing it down
<Chaintan> <Miyuki> but you could smell and feel couldnt you? did it have a scent? was it warm or wet there?
<Chaintan> <Miyuki> I know I am asking a lot of things, but youre doing such a good job sweetheart
<DeathStar> <Spirit> I don't know. I'm sorry.

<Chaintan> 6*Miyuki nods, and extends her hand, a fox bead in it,gently pulling her in

<Kemonohime> * Hope muses, and thinks back on if any vans were present when they arrived, having her mother's memory.
<Jackieness> <Josephine> "Maybe we cna get some traffic cam footage of vans going in and out of the area."

<DeathStar> 6* As they body is moved out, the cameraman records it, and the news director speaks, trying to get in frame as his cameraman follows the body, giving an eleagant speech. He looks annoyed that the cameraman doesn't do a better job at keeping him in frame. Zephyr steps out, watching the body go
<DeathStar> 6* Warren walks out, hands in his pocket, musing
<DeathStar> <Warren> Unless we have a gifted spiritual child, it means doing an autopsy and asking around at this point
<kalonZombie> 6*Ethan eyes the cameraman and whipsers something to Miyuki
<DeathStar> 6* The comedy duo finishes, and begin to pack up

<Sathen> 6*Rea steps next to Zephy and nudges at her arm subtly*

<Seraphna> Jennifer> "I have some amount of spirit training... though I'm not like LEyaeh who can sometimes touch things and see into an event with it."
<Sathen> 6*Rea follows along quietly...apparently ignored*
<kalonZombie> 6*Hale moves along with Miyuki
<DeathStar> 6* The director getting into it, and the camerman in the back, before they lift off. Zephyr opens her eyes, taking note of something

<Jackieness> <Josephine> "...did someone pull out who was covering the last couple murders?"
<Seraphna> * Angelos peers at the van quietly, musing, he memorizes the liscence plate.
<Chaintan> <Miyuki> I feel like getting something to go
<DeathStar> 6* Zephyr walks along, typing to Hope
<Seraphna> Angelos> "It's a new van, which means it has a satellite transponder." *he says helpfully*
<DeathStar> <Zephyr> Yeah.

<DeathStar> 6* Zephyr walks by Rea, checking to see if the newsvan might have covered anything here
<Chaintan> 6*Miyuki whaps him upside the head before whispering
<kalonZombie> 6*Hale blinks and nods
<Chaintan> <Miyuki> now commendeer a vehical
<DeathStar> 6* Warren peers at their shuttle, patting it goodbye
<kalonZombie> 6*Hale moves to do so
<Sathen> 6*Rea looks to Jose and shrugs*
<DeathStar> <Zephyr> It says here the news station covered an event in this town a month ago
<Seraphna> Jennifer> "I think she meant a different vehicle, Dad."
<Kemonohime> <Hope> Did they cover the last murder?
<Jackieness> <Josephine> "What event was it?"
<DeathStar> <Zephyr> It seems it what some school event
<Chaintan> <Miyuki> and who likely went to that school
<Sathen> Rea> Can we pull the footage from that event? See if our victim was seen in it?
<DeathStar> <Zephyr> As for the last murder, Hope, no. But I bet you credits that they were in the same town it occurred at some point before it
<Seraphna> Angelos> "What's an out of town news van covering some small town news event? Someone make another volcano with real, never ending lava?"
<Chaintan> <Miyuki> 500 credits say scouting
<Jackieness> <Josephine> "It would be the perfect cover..."
<DeathStar> 6* Zephyr checks, then nods. "Yes, a crew - the same at the school event - covered an event in the other town 2 months before the last victim. It was a political event."
<Chaintan> 6*Getting tired of waiting for some wheels, Miyuki growls and starts foxholing after the van
<DeathStar> 6* They arrive at the morgue
<Sathen> Rea> The cameraman seemed to be more interested in taping what was occuring than he perhaps should have been.
<Seraphna> Angela> "THat camera man seemed awfully disinterested in his own job."
<DeathStar> 6* The van stopped there to get more video, the news director stepping out
<DeathStar> 6* The camera man is in the back, getting his camera, stepping out
<Jackieness> <Josephine> "And someone mentioned that killers like to loiter around the crime scene."
<Chaintan> 6*Miyuki makes a face as she goes fox sized and slinks in to the van
<DeathStar> 6* Zephyr and Warren take a breath and step through the foxhole
<kalonZombie> 6*Hale got the car? He was waiting for Miyuki

<DeathStar> 6* The cameraman walks up to the morgue door, not seeing them, locking the van behind him with a beep beep key chain
<Sathen> 6*Rea follows behind as well*
<Chaintan> 6*Miyuki sniffs inside the van
<DeathStar> 6* The scent of the girl is in there
<Chaintan> 6*Miyuki growls

<Seraphna> * Angela sighs and pulls out tools, working to disable the car lock and alarm. Once a mechanic, always a mechanic.

<Chaintan> <Miyuki> Ethan, Jen, they have no reason to be in the morgue, try and bother them
<DeathStar> <Warren> Chances are he killed her elsewhere
<Sathen> Rea> Not for any *good* reasons
<DeathStar> <Warren> But the van was likely the transportation
<Chaintan> 6*Miyuki looks over any recordings, tapes, discs
<DeathStar> 6* The news director talks to the morgue person, asking him questions about the girl and family, and waving some coins
<kalonZombie> 6*Ethan nods, staying near Jen to go
<DeathStar> 6* If any person has 5 mind, they might notice a secret compartment in the van
<kalonZombie> 6*Hale does. As does Mi'Na
<Kemonohime> * Hope is tagging along Zephyr, not having much besides photographic memory and the physical skills of a would-be assassin.
<Seraphna> * Angela notices without trouble being a 7.
<kalonZombie> <Hale> Secret compartment.
<Jackieness> <Josephine> "what have you got?"
<Chaintan> 6*Miyuki pops back to fullsize and works on opening it
<DeathStar> 6* It opens and inside is a personal camera
<Seraphna> Angelos> "Something to talk to."
<Seraphna> * Jennifer peers back the way the crew came, watching for them.
<Chaintan> 6*Miyuki lifts it up with a hankerchief and presses play to see what was recorded
<Sathen> Rea> He likely fancies himself as a Reporter, but hasn't been able to get the job.
<DeathStar> 6* The tied up girl is there, blindfolded, begging to be let go. The cameraman talks to himself, talking about her purity and how it will become one with him, making him pure and exonerating him for his evil
<DeathStar> 6* He brushes the girl like she is a saint
<Seraphna> * Angelos sighs and eyes it, then turns and moves for the door. He steams a little, literally.
<Chaintan> 6*Miyuki cant press the pause button hard enough
<Chaintan> <Miyuki> make the call
<DeathStar> 6* Zephyr loads up her buster gun
<DeathStar> <Zephyr> Get him
<Jackieness> <Josephine> *pulls out one of her pistols* "I'm ready to tkae him down."
<Seraphna> ANgela> "My brother seems to have already made it."
<Sathen> 6*Rea moves along after Angelos, pulling his blaster*
<DeathStar> 6* They busti n right as the morgue guy is about to shwo the body to them
<Jackieness> <Josephine> *moves to the morgue as well* "And remember... alive."
<Seraphna> * Angelos opens the door and steps in, acting almost casual as he moves in. Walking over to them.
<Jackieness> <Josephine> *slips her gun under her coat as she follows Angelos in*
<DeathStar> 6* The news director and morgue guy try to act natural, knowing they were busted, while the cameraman stands there, almost sad
<kalonZombie> 6*Mi'Na walks in as well, looking mostly calm but her hands are making fists so tight her knuckles are white
<Sathen> 6*Rea keeps his weapon out of sight until the last minute*
<DeathStar> 6* Warren moves along, pulling out his ID
<DeathStar> <Warren> You're all under arrest
<DeathStar> <News Director> Oh, come on, can't something be worked out? I know this is a bit shadey but..
<kalonZombie> <Mi'Na> Shut up.
<Seraphna> * Angelos does his disappearing act, appearing right next to the cameraman and holding a gun to the side of his head. "Hands in the air. Where we can see them."
<Jackieness> <Josephine> "Multiple counts of murder is more than just shady."
<DeathStar> 6* Warren slams the camera man down, handcuffing him, motioning Angelos to do the others
<DeathStar> <News Director> What?!
<DeathStar> <Morgue Man> W-What are you talking about?
<kalonZombie> 6*Mi'Na moves to help arrest them, not being gentle
<Sathen> 6*Rea moves begrudingly to help arrest them as well.*
<Seraphna> * Angelos moves to cuff the others. "Just be quiet, so far you two are just accomplices."
<DeathStar> 6* Warren lets out a sigh, glad he got to the cameraman first, since he begins to buck
<Jackieness> <Josephine> "Does the cameraman have a name?"
<DeathStar> <Cameraman> Murder!? Murder?! You call it murder?!
<Seraphna> Angelos> "And the nice man is keeping me from burning that one alive with my bare hands. Oh right."
<Seraphna> Angelos> "You have the right to remain silent. Please do that."
<Sathen> Rea> Shut your mouth if you know what's good...
<kalonZombie> <Mi'Na> Yes we do. And I suggest you use that right to remain silent.
<DeathStar> <NEws Director> Hm? That's just Edward
<Jackieness> <Josephine> "Edward... and he has alast name?"
<Seraphna> Angelos> "You should conduct more thorough background checks on your employees."
<Jackieness> <Josephine> "Take the reported in too. He's a potential accessory."
<Seraphna> * Jennifer moves over to the body to make sure it's secured.
<DeathStar> <News Director> *shrugs*
<DeathStar> <NEws Director> I just work with who they assign me

<DeathStar> 6* After many hours later and creepy talk, Warren plops down back in the base, rubbing his face. Zephyr leans back, pondering about Darien's killer now
<kalonZombie> 6*Mi'Na moves to just be with her daughters for a while
<Sathen> 6*Rea works out in the gym once again...seeming to burn off his frustrations about the case*
<Jackieness> <Josephine> "I hate crap like this. Wars are so much easier."
<DeathStar> 6* Vodka puts the plants up they have, ready to look into them more
<DeathStar> <Warren> Of course
<DeathStar> <Warren> The mind of a killer is a dark place to go
<Jackieness> <Josephine> "Hope they bury this one..."
<Kemonohime> * Hope sits off to to a side and looks sulky.
<DeathStar> 6* Zephyr pats Hope

<DeathStar> <Warren> We did good, so they will
<DeathStar> <Warren> He won't get out again
<DeathStar> 6* Ren strums her instrument, turning and begins to practice singing softly, jamming her head - working up an appetite for which she will go along the houses later and beg for food. Woof
