<Xanatos> 6* Marcus is in his quarters, taking a few things out of a box and putting them away. Mostly some clothes and a few pictures.
<Seraphna> * Tabetha keeps away from it, instead looking over the specs again and trying to figure out what can be worked on and repaired without needing the captain's card to do things.
<DeathStar> 6* Vesta pilots them slowly toward the military installation, with John in the command center, waving his hand over the computer board
<DeathStar> 6* He brings up the military installation, at least what's on file.
<Seraphna> * Reese goes over the base's armory, checking weapons and ammo again.
<Xanatos> 6* Marcus places a picture of him and Kat up on his bedside table and then gets his gear out and ready.
<Seraphna> * An'Mi helps John by watching.
<Jackieness> <Cassandra> "Come to momma." *opens up her case and pulls out her rail gun*
<Sara> * Kaori is playing a game on her handheld, keeping herself calm.
<Xanatos> 6* Marcus pats his brown duster, coughing at some of the dust it kicks upand then puts it on, grabbing his cool fingerless gloves. He moves back towards the bridge once he's satisfied.
<DeathStar> 6* John studies the base layout, leaning forward. He eyes the area where space shuttles launch, as well as a huge military complex. He taps the building, trying to see inside, but a red screen pops
<DeathStar> 6* Finishing, Eve moves upstairs to where John is on the top level, heading into the C&C, peering at the floating map
<Seraphna> An'Mi> "Restricted. Game Over."
* ChadWinters` glances up at the red screen popping up. 1"That's not right.

<DeathStar> 6* Eve waves John aside and taps the red block, bringing up data to see why they're being locked out

<DeathStar> <Eve> I know Cheryl wanted to make it Chii but that wouldn't look good, so she picked a decorated military hero. *She throws up the screen* Colonel Stacey Roberts

<DeathStar> 6* John ponders how An'Mi does this with him standing
<Sathen> *There's a sleeping Orihime nestled into tail 5*
<Seraphna> * An'Mi is skilled beyond words. Leaning against his legs and middle.
<DeathStar> 6* Vesta calls up from the bridge
<DeathStar> <Vesta> We're nearing the base's airspace

<Seraphna> * Reese comes up, shouldering a modifiable sniper rifle and putting out his cigarette.

<Sathen> *Orihime loses her grip and tumbles to the floor, her foxy fur disheveled as she lifts her head to peer at them*
<Jackieness> <Cassandra> "I'm with John on this. Do not go in with the base."
<SaraLappy> <Kaori> "Making a point" usually ends in a lot of aggro and bad vibes. We gotta at least try to be discrete.

<ChadWinters`> I'd prefer it if we kept a low profile for as long as we could.
<SaraLappy> <Kaori> ...Plus we still have the option there if stuff goes wrong, right?

<Jackieness> <Cassandra> "Standard air defenses would likely tear this flying target to shreds once we break stealth."
<Seraphna> An'Mi> "Go in sneaky. Not cause ruckus. Blow them to hell if escape time."

<Seraphna> * An'Mi, talking more animated then usual, seems almost more squirrel then rabbit with how she talks.

<DeathStar> 6* John moves and takes the stairs down to the lowest level, with Eve and Vesta following; Vesta wires the mobile base to her datapad.
<Sathen> *Orihime shakes her head and rustles from tail to nose as she stretches*
<Seraphna> An'Mi> "PAX Tech. Could kick Earth Ass. Just hold back."

<SaraLappy> <Kaori> Here we go, people. *she moves down with the others*
<Seraphna> * An'Mi follows, as does Reese, Tabetha shuffling to join the others.
<DeathStar> 6* John picks a nice large shuttle craft and gets inside, with Vesta taking the controls. Eve gets in and straps in, doing a cross sign
<Jackieness> <Cassandra> *shakes her head* "Don't discount humanity's ability to build a big gun instead of something more constructive." *heads down*
<SaraLappy> * Kaori puts her cannon on her back, casually, readying herself as she gets in.
<Seraphna> * Tabetha peers around. "Who's watching the ship?"
<Xanatos> 6* Marcus moves along with them, getting in the shuttle once he's there.
<Seraphna> * An'Mi gets in, as does Reese.
<Jackieness> <Cassandra> "Tabetha is still here along with the AI." *climbs into the shuttle and straps in*

* ChadWinters` steps on to the shuttle, his hand shifting his belt slightly as he moves to stand by a hand rail
<Seraphna> * Tabetha pauses outside the shuttle.
<kalonZombie> 6*ash jogs to the shuttle and straps in
<kalonZombie> <Ash> Hi. Where we going?
<Seraphna> Tabetha> "I suppose I could stay and John can reach me if comms don't work."

<Sathen> *Orihime ponders Ash's quick departure, looking to Miyu before following after him to the shuttle*
<SaraLappy> <Kaori> We're going to handle things the quiet way. *she notes to Ash*

<SaraLappy> <Kaori> Not gonna give up our stealth phase.
<Seraphna> * Tabetha eyes him slowly.

<Xanatos> <Marcus> I somehow feel like most of us aren't equipped for stealth.

<Sathen> *Orihime hops into Miyu's lap and curls up watching the others*

<Seraphna> * Tabetha tilts her head and hops in to sit next to him. <But I agree with you half the time.> *she pouts*
<SaraLappy> <Kaori> There are a lot of kinds of stealth. If you blow someone up with high-density explosives and no one is around to hear it, does it make a sound? *she sounds cheerful*
<SaraLappy> <Kaori> The answer is, as long as it's not in their vision range, you're still stealthed!

<Xanatos> 6* Marcus perks up at Kaori saying that and nods.
<Sathen> *Orihime kons and looks to Ash since she shares lap with Miyu now*
<Xanatos> <Marcus> I like that.
<Seraphna> * An'Mi sits on John's other side and pulls out a gaming device.
* ChadWinters` eyes Kaori and then Marcus and rubs the bridge of his nose

<DeathStar> <Eve> *she makes more deep breathing sounds
<Seraphna> * Reese just sits on his own and runs a hand through his short red hair.
<DeathStar> 6* Vesta zooms out of the ship, the shuttle cloaking
<DeathStar> <John> *peers around, as if hearing voices in his head again*
<Seraphna> Tabetha> "That's me you dork."
<Seraphna> Tabetha> "Just... try thinking back."
<DeathStar> <John> I'm not sure why this place has bees, voice in my head
<DeathStar> *John pats Ash* You should have your circuit looked at
<Seraphna> * Tabetha raises a brow, worried about John now.
<kalonZombie> <Ash> Uhhh... okay?
<DeathStar> 6* John thumbs up
<Seraphna> * An'Mi yawns and leans against John, seemingly having decided he was her pillow to use as she wants.
<DeathStar> 6* Vesta flies them over the base. As they near, it looks like there is a takeover going on. Unknown shuttles have landed and are surpressing fire is taken out what ground troops are there to protect the research military facility
<DeathStar> 6* Vesta tries to tap into the radio chatter, but finds it all being jammed
<ChadWinters`> This might have something to do with us not getting clearance.
<Jackieness> <Cassandra> "And there are our playmates now."
<SaraLappy> <Kaori> Three-pronged fight here. Let's see if the ground troops appreciate a little back-up then...
<Seraphna> An'Mi> "Possible. Now we go in behind the badguys. Cap a thug."
<kalonZombie> <Ash> I'm good at capping.
<Sathen> *Orihime kon's as if to suggest lots and lots of fire coating the bad guys shuttles*
<DeathStar> 6* Vesta muses
<Jackieness> <Cassandra> "I have a railgun that can put a hole through a tank right here."
<DeathStar> <Vesta> The enemy forces are definitely trying to get inside. *she points at a hole blown in the wlal*
<ChadWinters`> But I wouldn't say it's coincidence we're here and they're already here.
<DeathStar> 6* Vesta lands near the fighting, and John gets out, with Eve and Vesta unstrapping
<Seraphna> * Tabetha frowns and forms her guns. "Probably they intended to do this while we were busy with the base being attacked."
<Xanatos> <Marcus> We are here because we got word of their attack.
<SaraLappy> <Kaori> If we can impede their progress, that's great. If we can save some lives, bonus points.
<Xanatos> 6* Marcus reminds chad since his player wasn't here.
<SaraLappy> * Kaori readies her cannon
<Seraphna> * An'Mi pulls out a lighter.
<DeathStar> <John> I say we just nuke the entire place. We really don't want any side to have what's in there.
<kalonZombie> <Ash> ...An'Mi, why do you have that?
<Xanatos> <Marcus> You just don't want to throw up after using the light engine in our ship.
<Seraphna> Ab'Mi> "...Because can't generate fire. Like Momma."
<DeathStar> 6* John slumps
<DeathStar> <JOhn> We Johns die around light engines
<Sathen> *Orihime rustles her hair as she shifts to her human form* No need for that with me around...
<kalonZombie> <Ash> Explains surprisingly little, An'Mi.
<Jackieness> <Cassandra> "And yet you are still around, John."
<Seraphna> Tabetha> "Nuking could work, but people will die."
<Xanatos> <Marcus> Alright let me at em. Let's go.
<SaraLappy> <Kaori> We always have that option, John. We always have the option of nuking it if things go south. But video games teach us that our enemies' enemies might just become allies or even new party members.
<DeathStar> 6* Both sides, noticing the group once out of the shuttle, begin to fire at them
<Seraphna> * An'Mi opens the lighter, makes a tiny light, then slowly makes it bigger with her other hand. "I bend fire. Not make it."
<Jackieness> <Cassandra> "Keep the nuke as a last resort. We move to contain."
<ChadWinters`> Well Kaori, what's your decision, times ticking
<Chaintan> 6*Miyuki pounces on John to keep his head down
<DeathStar> 6* Shots begin to land near them, grenades bouncing toward them
<DeathStar> 6* John makes a surprised sound, ducking with Miyuki
<SaraLappy> <Kaori> Aim for the unknowns. Let's be nice to the troops here... for now.
<SaraLappy> * Kaori grabs a grenade and tosses it away
<Xanatos> 6* Marcus attempts to a kick a grenade back towards them
<kalonZombie> 6*Ash swings his spear at the grenades to teleport them back to the throwers
<DeathStar> 6* Vesta forms her fire wings and launches upward
<Seraphna> * An'Mi then hurls a large fireball from that flame before getting down.
* ChadWinters` moves behind cover
<Jackieness> <Cassandra> *pulls her rail gun and then moves off the shuttle, trying to get into a position to fire on the enemy shuttles in order to disable their escape*
<DeathStar> 6* The grenade blows up a group of people. Eve pulls out her guns, doing trick shots to take out a shuttle, blowing it up and clearing the way toward the buiulding
<Seraphna> * Tabetha gets behind cover and fires around it.
<DeathStar> 6* CAssandra blows up another, fire burning. Vesta flies inside the hole in the building
<Seraphna> * Reese falls back to cover and opens the rifle, starting to take calculated headshots.
<kalonZombie> 6*Ash throws his spear, having it teleport above a surviving enemy if there are any, then runs to follow Vesta
<Xanatos> 6* Marcus whistles as he moves forward, kneeling to pick up one of their guns, peering it over.
<DeathStar> 6* Eve runs, leaving the real military to deal with the others outside
<SaraLappy> <Kaori> Move, move! *Kaori gestures ahead and moves forward, her cannon armed and ready*
<Sathen> *Orihime creates a nice fireball and tosses it towards another of the shuttles to explode on it, the flames being more like liquid fire and sticking to whatever it gets on*
<Seraphna> * An'Mi spreads the fire from the explosions at the enemy as she runs after them, Tabetha breaks cover to run and Reese covers them all with sniper fire.
<DeathStar> 6* Marcus would find it DNA locked
* ChadWinters` moves after Eve, keeping an eye out
<Chaintan> 6*Miyuki bites at John to get moving
<DeathStar> <JOhn> You can throw me down any time. *He notes, then yelps, runnig*
<DeathStar> <John> Right, moving
<Xanatos> <Marcus> Damn it, they've got some fancy tech. 6* He tosses it aside and moves after the group again.
<Sathen> *Orihime follows after Miyu and John*

<DeathStar> Location: Underground Base
<DeathStar> 6* Warren slams his fist down on the main console as an alert goes off, and he brings up a newsfeed
<Seraphna> * Angela peers up.
<DeathStar> <Warren> Son of a bitch.
<kalonZombie> 6*Mi'Na and Hale look up as well
<DeathStar> 6* The Vice President is talking about the death of Cheryl Mizukaze, the President, to the Senate and candidates running. Including Dias, in the crowd.
<Seraphna> * Lisa looks over, from where she was holding a shield up while Si'Chii practices punching it.
<Chaintan> 6*Hess hurries over with Warren's pills
<Seraphna> Angela> *eyes it blearly* Had to come out soon... better they don't know the PAX is working on bringing her back... I... suppose."
<kalonZombie> 6*Sue stays where Hess left him since he's not a part of the team yet
<DeathStar> <Stacey Roberts> Today we lost a great woman. And my mentor. She was killed by an unknown group that has been residing in Earth for some time it seems. People that we trusted. *she shows images* This was taken from satelite images just a few hours ago. *it shows the pictures of unknown forces going through the wreckages, as well as Kane and the others* It seems the mad President Kane, as well those we thought to be heroes *she shows images of Hess, Angela, etc* Attacked her. If not for an intervention from the Suisen Empire to drive them off, who knows what would have happened

<Seraphna> * Angela melts a bit of the table she's gripping at those words.
<Seraphna> Angela> "That fucking piece of shit bitch I will..." *she breathes, realizing she's starting to lose it a little, probably thanks to Mi'Na*
<kalonZombie> 6*Mi'Na lightly grabs one of Angela's wrists
<DeathStar> <Stacey Roberts> We face an insidious force inside our government today. *She looks weary* I vow to do everything I can in the next few months to work with whoever becomes the next President. *She pauses as an aide comes up* This just in, unnknown forces are now attacking a research military facility. It seems to be more forces that were once loyal to EarthGov.
<kalonZombie> <Mi'Na> Breathe. Relax. You're innocent. You know it. Hurting her will not absolve the guilt to the people.
<Seraphna> * Lisa tilts her head. "Wow... I've been on this team a day and we're already fugitives again."
<Seraphna> Si'Chii> "...Ohhhhhh... I get it."
<DeathStar> <Roberts> I feel as of this moment, I must declare a state of emergency. I will be, over the next few days, bringing all the military and police forces under one agency to try to weed out who these rogue agents are
<Seraphna> Si'Chii> "This is the Shadow Government making thier move. They're using our actions to shift us out so they can take over."
<DeathStar> <Roberts> I will let you know more in the next few days. *she steps away from the cameras*
<DeathStar> 6* Warren takes his pills from Hess, taking a few, obiviously in pain with his head
<kalonZombie> <Hale> Did she seriously just declare marshal law?
<kalonZombie> <Hale> Can she do that?
<Seraphna> Si'Chii> "On top of it, we're now unable to talk to our outside support without getting them in trouble... like General Sullivan will have his hands tied with his kids missing... he's lucky Vodka wasn't present for any of this."
<Seraphna> Si'Chii> "And the PAX will have to pretend not knowing anything about us whenever they're close too..."
<Jackieness> <Myria> *pops up* "Maybe its mind control!"
<Seraphna> Angela> "They just... made us the Shadow Government. They must have Stacey somehow."
<DeathStar> 6* Ren blows a locket of hair out
<Seraphna> * Angela nods, breathing. "Okay, maybe I won't kill her then." *she pulls her hair back* "But now we know we can't trust any of our contacts."
<Xanatos> 6* Kane's signature comes in for the teleporter pad, appearing shortly after if there's no lock out and he quickly moves for the main room.
<Jackieness> <Myria> "I'm still working on a way to make the mind control drug not work."
<Seraphna> Angela> "Well... maybe Peter... Vodka would know if something was up with him... right?"
<Xanatos> 6* Kane steps into the room and glances from the holovid to Warren.
<Xanatos> <Kane> They've made their first move.
<Xanatos> (public move*)
<Seraphna> * Lisa takes a seat and sighs. "Heh... I stayed here to be able to keep in contact with Sky, now that's gonna be a possible problem. I'll try to see if she and Leira can ghost it to the PAX."
<DeathStar> <Ren> We are assuming the VP is with them. Are we positive?
<DeathStar> 6* Warren eyes Ren
<Seraphna> Angela> "No... she could be being fed information, but look at this footage. It's edited to make us look bad. How she's cooberating on this without at least being drugged I can't fathom."
<Jackieness> <Reikana> "...if looks could kill."
<Seraphna> Angela> "She's not stupid."

<Jackieness> <Myria> "Oh, remaking this video is easy!" *replays the video on her pad, hacked to make it look like an attack by Catgons*
<Xanatos> 6* Kane looks to Angela now.
<Seraphna> Angela> "She knew Cheryl well enough... and she's outright assuming I'd attack my own family."
<Xanatos> <Kane> How much information do we have on Roberts?
<Seraphna> Angela> "Cheryl doesn't vet people without looking into them... Warren, do we have her files?"
<Kemonohime> * Eluere grits her teeth slightly, closing her eyes a moment amongst the crowd like Dias, then opens them, glowering as she taps into the Holonet and starts snaking her way digitally into whatever she can to get a bigger picture of what's going on in the hotspots-- and this political hotspot.
<Seraphna> Si'Chii> "Meanwhile the Mobile Squad is being outlawed as we speak too."
<Seraphna> Angela> "People won't accept this blindly... they can't. This exact tactic was used before wasn't it?"
<kalonZombie> 6*Hale moves to the side, quickly ordering Wraith Squad to execute Plan Ravenloft, which is to go into hiding, pretend they don't exist, and to not follow commands of the President until further notice
<DeathStar> <Warren> She has a perfectly clean history for the most part, her mother was military, too
<DeathStar> <Warren> Her mother's father was military
<DeathStar> <Warren> I'll dig more.
<DeathStar> 6* Warren eyes Hale, since he just made them definitely enemies of the state
<Seraphna> Angela> "I really... really want to hope she's being brainwashed."
<DeathStar> <Ren> Good job, Hale. Instead of being brought into one task force, they'll be hunted down and killed

<Xanatos> <Kane> I don't think we will be able to help the mobile group for now.

<Chaintan> 6*Hess sighs, taking a few pills herself
<DeathStar> <Warren> The mobile base is fine. Cheryl didn't sign off on anything offical yet
<Seraphna> * Angela sits, looking frustrated and defeated.
<DeathStar> <Warren> We got lucky there
<kalonZombie> <Mi'Na> <Don't give up. We'll get through this.>
<Seraphna> Si'Chii> "So do we tell them to lie low too?"
<Xanatos> <Kane> I don't think we tell them anything.
<DeathStar> <Warren> You all keep forgetting the point of what they are

<Xanatos> <Kane> Exactly. They can handle themselves.
<Seraphna> * Si nods and sighs a bit. The air getting a bit cooler as she absorbs some of the heat into herself.
<DeathStar> <Warren> For now, we will lie low ourselves, we organize, then resume doing missions.
<DeathStar> <Warren> I will send encyrpted data to all the teams at time, but never on open lines
<DeathStar> 6* Warren brings up the screen of the world on the master computer

Everything seems to be hard copy here, and once they get to the area, they see rows of shelves, with drawers built in, that go to the ceiling
