<DeathStar> 6* Warren peers around the icy planetoid, breathing harshly in his breathing suit as he takes steps along the planetoid. So far the past day has turned up nothing on their sensors
<Chaintan> 6*Hess shadows Warren, watching his motions and judging his current state
<Xanatos> 6* Kane peers around carefully, eyeing his datapad then looking up and around again, frowning.
<Seraphna> * Angela as a Dragoon is less concernd with cold and vaccuum, but seems to have taken the precaution of a suit anyway. Si'Chii seems miserable in the cold, while Jennifer eyes the scanners again in her own suit.
<Jackieness> <Reikana> *slogs around in the environment suit, not really used to it*
<DeathStar> 6* Lev examines things with his gun, hyper alert, with Ren moving about silently. Warren for the most part seems okay, except for being shakey now and again
<Xanatos> <Kane> Perhaps we should take another pass around the planet?
<Seraphna> Angela> "It's a small thing... if it's not on the surface, might be inside it."
<DeathStar> 6* Warren lifts a hand and reaches down underneath the icy surface, smashing some chunks of ice to grab what looks like a metal hatch, lifting it up
<DeathStar> 6* Inside seems to be some sort of tunnel
<Seraphna> Angela> "See?"
<DeathStar> <Warren> The base must have been frozen over over the decades
<DeathStar> 6* He floats down inside the tunnel
<Seraphna> * Si'Chii sighs a bit and peers down. "Perfect place for samples to last forever. A giant fridge."
<Chaintan> 6*Hess helps hold it open so everyone can get in
<Seraphna> * Jennifer follows after him.
<DeathStar> 6* Lev covers them, as Ren follows Warren inside.
<Xanatos> <Kane> That is very true. Let's keep our fingers crossed. 6* He moves once it's his turn.
<Jackieness> <Reikana> "With out luck, tentacle mutants..." *climbs down*
<Chaintan> 6*once all are in Hess enters and closes it behind her
<Seraphna> Si'Chii> "None of you understand Murphy's Law anymore..." *she moves down, as does Angela*

<Seraphna> * Jennifer shrugs innocently. Her family doesn't play host to a shadow tentacle named Tenty. Nope.

<Xanatos> 6* Kane scans things as he moves along.
<DeathStar> 6* After going down a bit, they come out in a frozen area, most of it looks like it was destroyed by an explosion
<Chaintan> <Hess> besides, I'm sure I'd destroy it
<Jackieness> <Reikana> "then that just magnifies the effect."
<Seraphna> Angela> "Mother fucking shit bitch goddamnit... any chance anything survived?"
<DeathStar> 6* Lev peers up, noting a shuttle approaching, one of their own. He scans it, detecting Necia inside.
<Chaintan> <Hess> I am apparently the iron ass...or at least thats what that one hikkikimori called me
<DeathStar> <Warren> We'll see. The entire base likely wasn't taken out
<DeathStar> 6* Ren lands, then grabs the ladder and floats to the east
<Jackieness> <Reikana> "Sooooo... what are we looking for again?"
<Seraphna> Si> "Mom's cranky. She never has a potty mouth."
<DeathStar> <Warren> Whatever survived in the base. It was part of VI. Try to get the computers, if any are left, to boot up
<Chaintan> 6*Hess floats after Ren to check things out
<Jackieness> <Reikana> "Ok, I can do that..."
<Seraphna> * Angela nods and starts to move around, scanning for equipment.
<Xanatos> <Kane> Understood. 6* He floats about, looking for some sort of computer he can get into.
<Jackieness> <Reikana> *heads after Ren and Hess*
<DeathStar> 6* After getting a few rooms from the epicenter, a few older computers can be seen frozen, but in tact. Also strange weaponry left over that was being worked on, as well as a frozen creature. Lev tracks Necia on the surface with his gun, watching her, remaining watchout
<Seraphna> * Jennifer muses and scans for biological signs.
<Jackieness> <Reikana> "What is with these guns?"
<Seraphna> * Jennifer scans over the creature, musing.
<Chaintan> 6*Hess comms in about the computers
<Seraphna> Angela> "Not sure, but collect them and case them for study back at the base."
<Chaintan> <Hess> should we try and get them working to download? or just extract it
<DeathStar> 6* The creature opens it's single eye, staring at Jennifer
<Xanatos> 6* Kane makes his way towards Hess, pausing at the strange weaponry.
<Seraphna> * Jennifer gulps a bit and stands back. "This this is alive, and awake."
<DeathStar> <Warren> Whatever works. *He comms back*
<Seraphna> Jennifer> "Even though it's frozen."
<Xanatos> <Kane> We can take the storage, but we could also see if it boots up now.
<Chaintan> 6*Hess tries to see if she can unfreeze it
<DeathStar> 6* Jennifer's scans detect Dark One DNA mixed with something else. The creature watches them
<Seraphna> * Jennifer does a full scan of the creature and muses how it might need to be put under if they transport it.
<Seraphna> Jennifer> "Dark One DNA... and... something?"
<Seraphna> Jennifer> "Something not in my registry at least."
<Xanatos> <Kane> Dark One?
<Xanatos> 6* Kane perks up from peering over the weaponry.
<Jackieness> <Reikana> *loooks over at Jennifer* "What? Am I related to this thing?"
<Seraphna> Jennifer> "Yep. I'd know it anywhere with two kids that are Dark Ones."
<DeathStar> 6* The computer slowly boots up as Hess' does so. Ren checks another room, trying to crack the room open
<DeathStar> 6* KAne would see experimental lasery, blast guns, and some other guns he wouldn't recognizw
<Xanatos> <Kane> That could be trouble. Do we have a means to sedate it?
<Chaintan> 6*Hess looks for a way to plug it into her datapad
<Seraphna> Angela> "You have me... a could be a counter, but not for long." *she notes, being a Holy element Dragoon*
<Xanatos> <Kane> For the entire trip back? It would be better if we found other means.
<Seraphna> Angela> "Yep, hence the not for long." *she sighs and watches it*
<Seraphna> Jennifer> "We could just ask it nicely?"
<DeathStar> 6* The ice cracks around the creature a little
<Jackieness> <Reikana> "Did you hear something?"
<Xanatos> <Kane> Be ready to do so.
<DeathStar> 6* Hess would see an outlet
<DeathStar> <Ren> Back here are bottled speciments
<DeathStar> 6* She points at the back room
<Chaintan> 6*Hess plugs in and begins downloading
<DeathStar> 6* Warren floats in with them, peering around
<Xanatos> 6* Kane begins placing the weaponry in his bag for futher study and moves over to peer at Hess.
<Seraphna> Jennifer> "Okay..." *she frowns and monitors it's vitals* "Easy there... we're getting you free."
<Chaintan> <Hess> *comm* how much time do we have
<Xanatos> <Kane> Do you see anything in there that may have information on these weapons?
<DeathStar> <Lev on comm> You all must have tripped an alarm. There's ships coming our way out here.
<Seraphna> Jennifer> "Damnit... okay, we're going to have to do this careful but quick then."
<Chaintan> <Hess> *comm* alright I'm gonna try and ripple these comps
<DeathStar> 6* Warren pauses, then goes to join Ren, eyeing the speciemens
<Xanatos> <Kane> ...well that at least answers your question about our time. 6* He smiles at Hess and floats over towards Warren and Ren.
<Seraphna> Si> "I can melt the ice." *she frowna and starts to slowly heat it, not enough to damage the creature*
<DeathStar> 6* As the ice melts more, the creature shows a row of sharp fangs, peering at everyone else but Rei
<Chaintan> 6*Hess moves and begins to ripple the space under each row, if theyre set up mostly neatly, to where their trasport is
<Seraphna> Jennifer> "Rei, you may need to do the talking."
<DeathStar> 6* The bottle speciments show fetuses, eyeballs, brains, pieces of tissues
<Xanatos> <Kane> ...should we take this as well?
<DeathStar> <Warren> Yes.
<DeathStar> 6* He opens a bag, putting the bottles in
<Jackieness> <Reikana> "Ahhhh... ok." *walks over* "Hi. I'm Rei. I'm the dark princess or something like that."
<Xanatos> 6* Kane nods and moves to put some in his bag, which probably doesn't have much space left.
<DeathStar> 6* Ren backs things in, shuddering
<Seraphna> * Angela frowns and moves over to scoop up samples into subspace, keeping an ear out for screams.
<DeathStar> <Lev on comm> Our shuttle is pretty much packed, those computers took a lot of room. We might not have a lot of lift off power left now
<DeathStar> 6* The specimen eyes Reikana, rows of dark tendrils reaching out past her, trying to snag the girls
<Seraphna> Angela> "We'll reroute power form some other ssytems."
<Seraphna> * Jennifer hops back. "Okay fella, chill out!"
<DeathStar> 6* Explosions rock Pluto
<Jackieness> <Reikana> "Hey, guys... tentacle monster. Ironiclaly enough, I'm immune to it."
<Xanatos> 6* Kane stumbles, almost dropping one of the jars.
<Chaintan> 6*Hess wobbles as theyre rocked
<DeathStar> 6* Warren does drop one
<Seraphna> Jennifer> "Rei, make it plain, we can bring it out safe. But it has to behave."
<Chaintan> <Hess> sounds like we have to bail
<DeathStar> <Warren> Time to go. This planetoid is small
<Jackieness> <Reikana> "You cna come with us to safety if you don't molest, murder, or otherwise harm my friends."
<DeathStar> 6* Warren floats on, passing them playing with the dark monster. Ren scrambles on, her bags swishing
<Chaintan> 6*Hess finishes rippling and checks her datapad to see how much it downloaded
<Xanatos> <Kane> Definitely. 6* He zips his bag up as much as it will and then floats on after Warren.
<DeathStar> 6* It seems to be straining, trying to eat Jennifer with it's sharp teeth
<Seraphna> * Angela scoops it up into subspace too. She nods and moves to go. Jeninfer frowns and starts to move back with the otehrs, Si gives it one last melt and then heads after the others.
<Jackieness> <Reikana> "I rhink that's a no. Hey, wait for me!" *slogs along after the others*
<Seraphna> Jennifer> "Well if he doesn't come with us, he'll be around to greet the jerks bombing us."
<DeathStar> 6* The creature chases after them as another explosion rocks the area. Warren floats out of the hatch and they an see multiple war shuttles orbitting the planetoid
<DeathStar> 6* Lev fires up at them, missing at the altitude
<DeathStar> <Lev> Lets go. *he shoots across the surface to the shuttle*
<Chaintan> 6*Hess makes a face, eyeing the download progression
<Xanatos> 6* Kane makes a face once he sees them. He tries to get a look at the shuttles to see any sort of badge on who might own them.
<Seraphna> * Jennifer floats out and frowms, moving for the shuttle, Angela does as well, while Si fires a blast out at one of the enemy ship engines and heads for the shuttle.
<DeathStar> 6* Hess seems to have a good chunk, the computer an older model, so it's at 80%
<Jackieness> <Reikana> *moves for the shuttle too*
<Xanatos> 6* Kane would then move after Lev whether he gets a read on the shuttle or not.
<Chaintan> <Hess> I'll ripple to you in a minute, I'm almost done downloading from this one
<DeathStar> 6* There's a Sun like logo
<DeathStar> 6* As they reach the shuttle, Ren floats in and Warren tries to get to the pilot seat, dodging all the computers
<Seraphna> Angela> "May have to cut it short Hess, they're bearing down." *she moves to the engineering section of the shuttle and works to get the engines up to snuff for an escape run*
<DeathStar> 6* He tosses his bag onto a seat
<Kemonohime> * Necia puts a hand on his shoulder, as if saying she could take over this part.
<DeathStar> 6* The shuttles begin to fire bombardment bombs, aiming to break Pluto up
<Chaintan> 6*Hess eyes the download
<DeathStar> 6* Warren jerks, almost having a heart attack at Necia being there
<Chaintan> <Hess> come on come on
<DeathStar> 6* It dings at 100%
<Xanatos> 6* Kane places his bag into the seat and gets his rifle out from under the seat, moving back to the edge of the ramp help Lev shoot or support any stragglers.
<DeathStar> 6* Lev hits a shuttle, making it back off.
<Chaintan> 6*Hess unplugs and ripples for the shuttle
<Seraphna> * Jennifer puts a hand on Wearren to calm him with Spirit Energy and Si leans out with Lev, she tosses another blast out at a shuttle.
<Kemonohime> * Necia deadpans, then lets her eyes glow, taking Warren's pack, bringing up the shuttle's systems and tandemly running the preflight checks together.
<DeathStar> 6* Warren moves and works the co-pilot seat, letting Necia take the pilot
<DeathStar> 6* A bomb hits the surface, breaking the planetoid up. Ren sighs
<Kemonohime> * Necia brings on whatever weapons the shuttle itself has for Warren while she focuses on the last of the flight checks.
<DeathStar> <Ren> This always happens to us
<Xanatos> <Kane> Are we missing anyone?
<DeathStar> 6* Lev slaps the ramp close button

<Jackieness> <Reikana> "I'm here!"
<DeathStar> 6* The creature leaps onto the shuttle window
<DeathStar> <Creature> RGAGGHAH
<Chaintan> 6*Hess reels
<DeathStar> 6* It begins to eat at it
<Kemonohime> * Necia turns on the wipers
<Seraphna> * Jennifer does a headcount. Seeing Hess get back. She frowns. "We have extra passengers."
<Chaintan> <Hess> what the hell is that
<DeathStar> 6* It flies off
<DeathStar> 6* Warren fires at the ships as they take off
<Seraphna> Jennifer> "What we hoped might have been a valuable witness. Turns out it's probably snapped over the years frozen down there."
<DeathStar> 6* Warren hits the hyperspace button for 1 second then htis it again, with them near Earth
<Xanatos> <Kane> Poor thing. 6* He notes
<DeathStar> 6* In the distance, no doubt, Pluto blowing up with the creature on it
<Seraphna> Jennifer> "Too few Dark Ones left..."
<DeathStar> <Warren> No doubt it's dead. 6* No doubt it survived and is floating in space, working it's way to Earth
<Kemonohime> * Necia corrects their approach to re-entry immediately upon their short hyperspace jump ending.
<Seraphna> Angela> "...You know, decades ago I'd have thought you were nuts saying that."
<DeathStar> <Warren> Lets get back to the base and check these samples before those shuttles reach us

<DeathStar> Location: Mega City - Election Night
<DeathStar> 6* Zephyr sits in an aclove near the Presidental Building, watching the events go on
<Kemonohime> <Hope> Is it over yet?
<DeathStar> 6* Lorelei sips tea, the cypher still working
<Seraphna> Truth> "We must keep attentive." *she says quietly*
<DeathStar> <Lorelei> Not yet. The candidates are still making last minute speeches and whatnot.
<Sathen_Gor> *Rea sits at an outdoor coffee place, sipping at a drink while reading through a news story on his datapad*
<Chaintan> 6*Miyuki and her clan sit in their box, each and every one dressed in ceremonial multilayered kimono
<Xanatos> <Kellin> I remember the time I was president. 6* He muses, drinking from a fruit drink.
<Chaintan> 6*derp, Miyuki's clan at least
<Seraphna> * Michelle rubs her head. "I just realized, if she is dubious, this'll be the second time in a short time the world learns their president had an identity no one knew about. People are going to foam at the mouth."
<Xanatos> <Kellin> Who was the other one?
<Sara> * Sunny seems to be half-asleep, although she's still annoyingly present. It's hard to tell if she is paying attention or not.
<Jackieness> <Josephine> "Real great track record on these politicians."
<Kemonohime> * One rebel clan member where's jean shorts and a rockband shirt, a ton of bangles and necklaces and anklets.
<Seraphna> Michelle> "Mrs. Bennet. When they uncovered that Cheryl remade her from some evil old version of her. It was all over the news when I was a kid."
<Jackieness> <Josephine> "Yeah, I remember that."
<Sathen_Gor> *Rea shakes his head, looking at the current results* I am so happy that I'm not a citizen of Earth and have to deal with this stuff...

<Seraphna> Michelle> "Of course seeing as how they reelected her... not sure what we uncover will change much here either, unless she's like, planning to sell the planet."
<DeathStar> 6* Isis claps as Stacey stands with Nekomaru. Many except them to win due to the public vote, but both Eluere and Dias, though separate, are not far behind. Both Eluere standing with her General Steele husband, and Dias due to his surprising stances
<Sara> <Sunny> I'm sure it will be fine no matter who wins. *she says with a smile, though she still looks like she's only half-awake*
<Chaintan> 6*Nekomaru looks passive as he bows to the crowd
<Jackieness> <Josephine> "You know... its entirely possible that she isn't the bad guy per se."
<DeathStar> 6* Curali cheers for Eluere.
<ChadWinters> 6Dias waves to the crowd, doing his trademark wink and then flexing.

<ChadWinters> 6Dias beams as he points at the state he just won, flexing again. He then points at Eluere, giving her a thumbs up
<Seraphna> Truth> "I did not know that our presidents were determined by contests of strength... is it because the president has to fight in single combat with other world leaders?"
<Chaintan> 6*Nekomaru watches quietly, subtly chewing on his finger tips
<DeathStar> 6* A vote for Stacey and Nekomaru. And another vote for Dias

<ChadWinters> 6Dias leans over and gives Neko a firm pat on the back and a nod to him

<Chaintan> 6*Nekomaru nods and smiles at Dias
<Kemonohime> * Eluere closes her eyes and sits still, not looking nervous or shaken at all. In fact, for the last couple days, for some reason she's looked all but peaceful and lacked the sullen or distressed nature she originally had before applying to run.
<Chaintan> <Nekomaru> for what its worth, regardless of the outcome, you were a worthy opponent to go against. I'm honored we were able to meet
<Sathen_Gor> *Rea shakes his head and watches the results*
<DeathStar> 6* Stacey swallows, holding Nekomaru's hand
<ChadWinters> <Dias> It's because I've honed my body for the last 30 years to become what you see before you. 6He nods proudly
<DeathStar> 6* So far the results are 6 for Stacey, 5 for Eluere, and 6 for Dias

<ChadWinters> <Dias> Man, it's a 3 way tie. This is like the time on a back water planet where I was in a 3 man standoff.
<DeathStar> <Announcer> Our next President has been decided by the Guardian Colony.
<Seraphna> Angelos> "Too disoriented."
<Kemonohime> * Eluere blinks at that announcement
<DeathStar> 6* They fill in Dias' name.
<Seraphna> Angelos> "Almost forgot that they were part of the voting spree."
<ChadWinters> 6Dias peers up at that then pauses, blinking at that
<DeathStar> 6* Stacey lets out her breath, clearly disappointed.
<Xanatos> 6* Kellin bursts out laughing
<Xanatos> <Kellin> Oh this is going to be hilarious.
<Chaintan> 6*Nekomaru closes his eyes and smiles subtly
<ChadWinters> 6Dias points to himself then looks at the others. 1"I won?!"
<Seraphna> Michelle> "Oh gosh I hope Mr. Carmichael is alright."
<Sathen_Gor> *Rea deadpans slightly* Actually, it's the few Dragoons there that were born on Earth...
<Seraphna> Michelle> "He might have a heart attack."
<Kemonohime> * Eluere tilts her head at the colonies voting for Dias, getting up and silently leaving.

<Seraphna> Angelos> "Eluere has to be pissed, she's the only candidate with Guardian DNA."
<ChadWinters> 6Dias punches his hand in the air. 1"THAT'S AWESOME!" 6He beams proudly then turns to Neko, bowing slightly to him. 1"Thank you, this was one of the hardest fights I've ever been in."
<Chaintan> 6*Nekomaru blinks at Dias bowing to him before laughing and bowing in return
<Sathen_Gor> Rea> You never know...perhaps this is a good thing in disguise?

<Kemonohime> * Hope waits until they're all attacking him, then pulls out the imitation Cassandra railgun of her dragoon weapon and uses her own lock-on to fire when it will miss all allies in a narrow margin.

<Kemonohime> * Hope leaps out and lands from the height kneeling, pursuing the chase.

<Seraphna> * Tabetha jerks some cooling pipes out of alignment for good measure.
* ChadWinters moves to the another one, and begins to mess with it, setting it out of synch.
<DeathStar> 6* A female cyborg enters, and spots the chaos. She frowns, and fires a blast from her hands, striking John and flying him into a generator, electrocuting him
<DeathStar> 6* John spasms, his flesh peeling and bone appearing
<Seraphna> * Tabetha reaches out and pulls him off with TK to her.
<DeathStar> <Female Cyborg> What is going on here!?
<DeathStar> 6* John lands, smoking
<Seraphna> * Tabetha touches him and gives him her healing as she forms her guns.
<Seraphna> * Tabetha kicks a case out and over to Chad as she moves in front of John.
<DeathStar> 6* The female cyborg rushes at Tabetha

<Seraphna> * Tabetha uses 1000 Shots at the rushing Cyborg as she does.
* ChadWinters pauses, looking up from his terminal and making and he grabs his case, opening it up and pulling out his stuff from it.

<DeathStar> 6* She jerks, twitching. She doesn't look like the Lilith they know though
<DeathStar> 6* Then reaches and grabs Tabetha's throat
<Seraphna> * Tabetha growls and punches kicks her as she does with TK warrior, a rushing car's weight behind the kick.
* ChadWinters pulls out his pistol and fires a shot at the ground to the side of TC letting it bounce up towards her right knee
<DeathStar> 6* The ship shudders as it fires
<ChadWinters> Not good. 6He grabs his belt, throwing it around his waist and locking it in place. He then aims his pistol at TC, waiting for a clear shot
<Seraphna> Tabetha> "That name is taken. Copyright infringement!"
<DeathStar> 6* Lilith seems to take the physical damage well, like an insane beast, she grins and throws Tabetha across at Chad, the shot hitting her knee. It smokes as she moves forward
<DeathStar> <Lilith> Oh? Then I'll be sure to kill the original.
* ChadWinters is hit by her and he slides back as he does his best to keept her up right.
<Seraphna> * Tabetha grunts and hops off Chad, then rushes at her again, using Sight Beyong to anticipate her next move.
<DeathStar> 6* Lilith pulls out sharp, twisted knives and moves forward, grinning twistedly. Sight Beyond seems to show her coming at 20 different ways, like Lilith is completely insane
<DeathStar> 6* She bounces about toward Tabetha
<Seraphna> * Tabetha nods and uses Goddess TK, grabbing at her to force her into one spot, crushing at her mechanics.
* ChadWinters groans slightly as he pushes himself up, his left hand sliding across his belt while he fires two shots to each side of Lilith, bouncing them at her knee's again
<DeathStar> 6* Lilith winces just a little, her knees sparking a bit
<DeathStar> 6* Lilith strains and breaks free
<Seraphna> * Tabetha shifts into a defensive stance. Gun Fu ready.
<DeathStar> 6* Lilith then seems utterly calm, and puts the knives away, doing her hair back

<DeathStar> 6* Lilith rips the flooring up, forming a while between her and them, and leaves

* ChadWinters reaches up to his ear, tapping it as he moves to the way the entered.

<ChadWinters> You heard her. 6He pulls out his datapad, eyeing the signal and moving for it
<Seraphna> Tabertha> *looks to Chad* "You put the explosives on the 5th right?"
<Jackieness> <Cassandra> *starts moving for the evac*
<Seraphna> * Tabetha moves for evac with John.
<ChadWinters> Didn't have time since she showed up. TK them over if you can
<Seraphna> * Tabetha nods and TKs them into the back of the engine as they go so it'll feed back into the systems.
<DeathStar> 6* The way to enginereering is shielded by metal as Lilith returns and she saves the generator
<DeathStar> 6* Eve looks as the others return, eyeing the timer at 10 seconds

<DeathStar> 6* Cain ducks Umi, barely, before getting hit by Kellin, bleeding and falling forward. Wyrd lands, touching him

<Xanatos> 6* Kellin hits the ground into a roll, rolling a few times before coming up on his knees, sliding across.

<Seraphna> * Angelos shifts his elbow for Cain's head. "Hush.":

<Seraphna> * Peter sighs and pulls out some power cuffs. Waiting to arrest.
