<DeathStar> <Eve> They seem to be interacting with the Earth's surface and doing something in the same vein that Taiga does to study the Reality Quakes. Only instead of what I assume Taiga does to open holes to the other side
<DeathStar> <Eve> These almost look like canceling waves
<Sathen> *Orihime peers over at the others on the bridge* How are they going to affect things on earth?
<Seraphna> Tabetha> "...Wait... isn't that a good thing?"
<DeathStar> <Eve> They seem to be trying to saturate the entire planet with it
<Jackieness> <Cassandra> "Maybe these Sun V guys think they are saving the Earth."
<Seraphna> Tabetha> "You're saying they're... trying to stabilize the reality quake issue?"
<Xanatos> <Marcus> Only good if the people gone over there aren't supposed to come back over here
<DeathStar> <Eve> It seems so. I can't say if the effects will be good or bad though. We all know the mirror universe is slowly entering our space, hence the quake issue
<DeathStar> <Eve> So it's hard to say if this will backfire or not
<Jackieness> <Cassandra> "So why the big distraction?"
<Sathen> Orihime> No, deffinitely not a good thing; Momma Hi'Saa won't be happy if Moma Isis and Momma Miyu don't return.

<Seraphna> Tabetha> "It's possible they did not intend to leak this yet and our blowing up the ship scattered the particles outside of any plan."

<Sathen> Orihime> Any luck that these nano-machines are susceptible to high heat?
<Seraphna> Tabetha> "If they were susceptible they would have burned up in entering the atmosphere."
<DeathStar> <Eve> I'd say it's too late, Ori. They're already around the planet. Unless you plan to cook the Earth
<Jackieness> <Cassandra> "If they are really human-first, they probably wanted to diminish PAX's influence while stopping extra-dimensional threats to their initiative too."
<DeathStar> *Eve transmits the data to the Underground Base.*

<DeathStar> <John> The teleports to the PAX are out
<Xanatos> <Marcus> Should we go check on them?
<DeathStar> <John> So if you all plan to deal with the nanomachines and the attack on Mega City
<DeathStar> <John> You'll have to land this thing
<Seraphna> * Tabetha muses. "It may have been damaged. They did seem to do a very fast jump into hyperspace."
<DeathStar> <Vesta> We can't jump into hyperspace
<Seraphna> Tabetha> "The PAX needs far longer to prep then they took for that jump."
<DeathStar> <Vesta> I don't know how far into space we could go before we'd get damaged
<Sathen> Orihime> Anyone we can contact to head out after them? To start looking to help them?
<DeathStar> *Vesta zooms in on Mega City that they are over. Noticing 5 blocks destroyed*
<Jackieness> <Cassandra> "I recall the last time PAX did a blind jump, things got a little crazy."
<Xanatos> 6* Marcus tilts his head slightly, probably more focused on shooting the Nostro than paying attention to the PAX.
<DeathStar> <Eve> I'll send a message to the other teams.
<Jackieness> <Cassandra> *points at the screen* "So what was there?"
<Xanatos> <Marcus> So...uh, what was there before it got blown up?
<Seraphna> Tabetha> "I've studied the ship in detail when working on some shuttle and ship designs for Cheryl... it was easy for me to notice."
<DeathStar> <Eve> No idea.
<DeathStar> <Eve> I guess we can land and check it out
<Seraphna> An'Mi> "Let's land then. Check it out."
<DeathStar> *As Eve is about to do so, she pauses, noticing a Nostro type signature*
<DeathStar> <Vesta> No way.
<Xanatos> <Marcus> I think you're second in command, Cass. So, we landing?
<Seraphna> * Reese steps back in and rolls his shoulder. He looks over. "What is it now?"
<Sathen> *Orihime begrundgingly nods in agreement*
<Xanatos> 6* Marcus pauses and points.
<Xanatos> <Marcus> I thought I blew them up.
<DeathStar> <Vesta> I'm getting a signal that says the Nostro still exists. Wait. No. It's way too small to be them
<Seraphna> Tabetha> "...Perhaps a ship of the same make and design?"
<Jackieness> <Cassandra> "No, hold position. I think the other teams were already deployed."
<Sathen> Orihime> Escape pod or shuttle?
<Seraphna> Tabetha> "Or... a core part of the ship that wasn't destroyed."
<DeathStar> 6* Vesta tries to get a lock on it, but the signal is moving away rapididly and it seems to be the size of a small ship
<Xanatos> <Marcus> MAYBE it's that cyborg guy and I can fucking kick his ass.
<Jackieness> <Cassandra> "Move to intercept!"
<DeathStar> <Vesta> *pats Marcus since the cyborg guy got his ass handed to him already*
<Seraphna> * Reese frowns and takes the guns again, aiming for it's wake to see if he can disrupt engines.

<DeathStar> <Vesta> Alright, moving to follow. They're moving fast so I'll see if I can catch up

<DeathStar> 6* Lorelei walks with the two groups. Kalon's people haven fallen into open manholes

<Chaintan> 6*Hess follows, Umi shaking her head, carrying the Kalon folk on her back
<Seraphna> * Angela sighs and lets Mi'Na save the rest of Kalon's people valiantly while they move along.
<Seraphna> * Truth peers around as they move, looking to be on guard.
<Xanatos> 6* Kellin glances around as he walks, arms pulled up behind his head.
<Sathen> *Rea joins the group, moving in from a side alleyway where he had been on backup for Lore's team*
<Xanatos> 6* Kane walks along, tapping on his datapad, sour that his drones were shot down last session.
<DeathStar> 6* Lorelei leads them along the five blocks that are melted and/or on fire
<DeathStar> <Lorelei> Like I said, these areas were empty of people mostly, but I found something interesting in the buildings
<Seraphna> * Angelos peers around interestedly. "What's that, Lore?"
<Xanatos> <Kane> Oh? 6* He peers up
<Jackieness> <Noire> *sashays forth with the group, embodying Reikana's more aggressive traits*
* ChadWinters` steps out from behind a building, motioning around. He peers at the other group, his hand moving his his holster briefly
<Sathen> Rea> So collateral will be minimal. That's a plus.

<Jackieness> <Josephine> "What was in this block that it would be so empty on New Year's?"
<Xanatos> 6* Kane peers at Chad, tilting his head slightly.

<DeathStar> 6* Lorelei moves to the center of the five blocks, walking past a lot of the destroyed buildings. The fires burning.
<DeathStar> <Lorelei> As Umi and I came here to save people, we noticed how these buildings were businesses and corporations, or warehouses. A business district. So we poked our heads in. *she walks into the remains of one*
<Seraphna> * SI'Chii sighs and holds out her hands, extinguishing fires with her will as they move along.
* ChadWinters` grunts and moves along after Lorelei.
<Xanatos> 6* Kellin peers around with a sigh.
<Seraphna> * Angela peers about, tilting her head.
<Xanatos> 6* Kane kneels and takes a few samples, storing them in vials and placing them in his coat, then jogs to catch back up with the group
<ChadWinters`> They're were after something here.
<DeathStar> *Ren walks in. What is inside is a broken crystal structure like a gate.*
<Sathen> *Rea follows along after Chad, looking around the ruins they're going into*
<DeathStar> *only surviving due to being in the basement*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Oh-ho! What have we here?"
<Seraphna> Angela> "It appears to be a gate of some sort."
<ChadWinters`> And I'd say we found out what they were gunning after.
<DeathStar> <Lorelei> Umi and I checked a few more businesses. There's another similiar one a block down
<Sathen> Rea> What business owned the building that *was* above here?
<Jackieness> <Josephine> "Who owned the buildings?"
* ChadWinters` glances at Angela then at the crystal moving over to scan it.
<DeathStar> <Lorelei> I say Sun V blew this part of Mega City up due to them
<DeathStar> <Lorelei> No idea. The entire building is gone now
<Xanatos> <Kellin> What are they?
<ChadWinters`> Fair assessment.
<Jackieness> <Josephine> "City records have to have something. Property taxes need to be paid, afterall."
<Sathen> Rea> Perhaps we can use these structures as a basis for finding similar ones?
<Seraphna> Angela> "I've seen my fair share of reality gates... this isn't too far off..."
<Xanatos> 6* Kane steps up to the some of the crystal and peers it over, seeing if he can chip a piece off to stufy.
<DeathStar> <Lorelei> I planned to look the city map when we got back to base. My datapad is on the fritz
<DeathStar> *It doesn't chip, even cracked*
<Seraphna> * Angela frowns and checks her own datapad.
<DeathStar> 6* Ren peers it over
<Sathen> Rea> Question is, if these are gates where do they lead?
<Xanatos> <Kane> Hm. 6* He peers it over, frowning.
<Seraphna> Angela> "The other side."
<Chaintan> 6*Hess checks hers as well

<Seraphna> Angela> "That's how gates work. Same as doors. There's two sides. And we know quite well what the other side is now."
<Xanatos> <Kane> That's what she does. 6* He says, peering over the crystal at them.
<Jackieness> <Noire> "I have a sense of deja vu when it comes to crystals and dimensions..."
<Xanatos> <Kane> Can someone try to get a piece of thise for me?
<DeathStar> *Ren tilts her head* We do?
<ChadWinters`> Seem's similar to Megumi's crystal manifestation power. 6He taps it with his knuckle
<Seraphna> Angela> "Yeah, it's my bag. Funny how often I hate being right though."
<Xanatos> <Kellin> Let's activate it!
<Sathen> Rea> Do we want to leave this here or destroy it?
<DeathStar> *Hess and others get a map of a city. It seems to belong to some Charity Business that helps the poor
<Seraphna> * Angelos gently cuffs Kellin. "Bad Kellin. No biscuit."
<Chaintan> <Hess> a non-profit charity?
<ChadWinters`> They're easy to hide.
<Xanatos> <Kellin> Standing around is boring, we activate and go through, find out what it is. Boom easy.
<DeathStar> <Ren> Can we destroy it? I mean a blast that took out five blocks only cracked it
<DeathStar> *Lorelei runs her hands along it* I don't think it will work in it's condition
<Chaintan> 6*Hess looks up more on the charity
<Xanatos> <Kane> Perhaps with time, we could repair it. I'm sure Myria would love to look at it.
<Seraphna> Angela> "I say we take it to a sealed room and study it."
<ChadWinters`> It might not be a bad idea to have your base try and bring it back to study for now
<Seraphna> Angela> "I'm sure we have a few deep enough in the old place."
<Xanatos> <Kellin> Study? Pff. Boring.
<Seraphna> * MIchelle giggles a bit at Kellin.
<DeathStar> *It seems to be a charity that opened up a year ago. It's rather popular, getting grants for kids, putting them in schools, and is on the HoloNet, having sitrs all over the world*

<Seraphna> Angelos> "But if I turn into some kind of 30 foot tall superbeast... don't kill me. I plan to eat everything."

<Jackieness> <Noire> "Oh, I could summon a minion to carry it for me."

<DeathStar> *Lorelei crosses her arms, musing, while Wyrd wanders about*
<Xanatos> 6* Kane glances around at each of them before looking to Lorelei.

* ChadWinters` taps his ear, listening to something for a moment, then whispers back in to it, he lowers hand hand.

<Xanatos> <Kane> I'm inclined to agree. We could set up a perimeter to secure it while we study.
<Chaintan> <Hess> so it should stay put
<Seraphna> Angelos> "The only problem with that is whoever made it knows where it is."
<DeathStar> *Lorelei points out what building has the other one. It seems to be a Corporation called BuiltTek

<ChadWinters`> It doesn't seem like any of the other sites that was owned by this one were attacked.

<DeathStar> <Lorelei> We can make Dias put people on the protection detail when he becomes President
<Xanatos> 6* Kellin places a hyperspace hand close to the crystal, the smell on burning flesh rising in the air. He leans forward to peer and see if it reacts as his hand gets close.

<DeathStar> 6* BuiltTek seems to be a Corporation for the last 20 years that builds buildings, houses, etc.
<Seraphna> Angelos> "Well every cover building isn't going to house a base. Otherwise they're too easy to find."
<DeathStar> *The arch does not seem to react to Kellin's taunts

<Xanatos> <Kellin> I remember when being a progenitor meant something. 6* He scowls, shaking his hand with an owie face as the skin regrows.

* ChadWinters` glances at Wyrd, his hand shifting on to his gun again as he moves out after Lorelei.

<DeathStar> 6* Lenneth arrives in the security offices. She grabs a few boxes, lifting them up and searching them
<DeathStar> 6* Erevis reclines up on the bridge, relaxing
<Xanatos> 6* Xan moves to search through some of the similarly marked boxes.
<DeathStar> <Lenneth> *finally finds the box she was looking for, and nods, pulling out giant black batteries. Xan finds some as well
<DeathStar> <Lenneth> Here we go.
<Xanatos> 6* Xan peers them over, how big are they?
<DeathStar> *Erevis pauses, leaning forward. She eyes out the viewport*
<DeathStar> *They are five feet by three feet. Lenneth carries them effortlessly*
<Seraphna> * Leyaeh peers it over. "That's... interesting. Where do we hook them up?"
<Chaintan> 6*Ama finishes dressing Erevis in a greenish outfit
<DeathStar> <Lenneth> I will go to the teleporter pad and hook this up. Who knows if we will need to bring supplies in
<Xanatos> 6* Xan grabs his and follows after her, it being zero G and all it's just guiding them along.
<DeathStar> *Erevis flusters, as she peers out again*

<Xanatos> <Xanatos> Maybe they could use these to jump start the core?
<DeathStar> <Lenneth> *she studies her dad* You used to be a legendary hero, right?

<DeathStar> *Erevis leans forward and jerks, spotting a Tsivrixsh patrol ship.*
<Xanatos> <Xanatos> Mean. 6* He starts heading towards engineering.
<DeathStar> <Erevis> What is that thing doing this far out? *she grabs a comm* Can everyone hear me?
<DeathStar> *Lenneth floats for the teleporters in security, kneeling to hook it up*
<DeathStar> <Lenneth> Yes, mother. Speak
<DeathStar> <Erevis> There is a Tsivrixsh patrol ship out here. It has not spotted us yet but it is getting closer.
<Xanatos> <Xanatos> Maybe I should divert this battery to shields instead.

<DeathStar> *the figure takes a crystal shard out and leaps back, crushing it and suddenly a reality quake forms as the figure vanishes into it. Hess and Angelos begin to get pulled in.
<Seraphna> * Angela frowns and scans over the full gate, taking as much data as she can get.
<DeathStar> 6* X jerks and grabs the two.

<AquaKoala> *Del rushes to help Hess

<Seraphna> * Angelos yelps, then when X has them, teleports them all away.
<DeathStar> *As Angelos tries to eleport, the eleport begins to bend into the quake
<ChadWinters`> 6Dias eyes it appear and moves towards X, grabbing on to her as he slams his fist into the ground. 1"I got ya all.

<Seraphna> * Angelos blinks and stops it.

<Chaintan> 6*Kitty hurries and pulls to bring them back
<Seraphna> * Angelos grunts and tries to dig his feet into the building.
<DeathStar> *The building begins to dissolve and sink into the ground

<AquaKoala> *Del attempts to help Kitty pull them out, muscles straining
<Sathen> *Rea tries to grab ahold of Dias to chain-anchor him and the others*
<Xanatos> 6* Kane eyes the group and pulls an attachment out, placing it into a slot on his pistol he fires it out to snag the group, attemping to use a building to secure it, one not in the quake zone.
<Seraphna> * Angelos digs his feet in and helps them pull himself and the other two, literally burning footholds in.
<DeathStar> 6* Lorelei grabs those pulling. Suddenly the quake stops. Yellow nanomachines appearing

<DeathStar> *The building remains only 1/4th in
<Xanatos> <Kellin> Uh. That seems good!
<ChadWinters`> <Dias> Any ideas? 6He pauses looking at the machines
<DeathStar> *X lets out a breath, holding onto Kitty and Del
<Xanatos> 6* Kane blinks and pulls up his datapad immediately to scan, trying to determine what's happening.
<Chaintan> 6*Hess extends one hand, firing holy arrows at them
<AquaKoala> *Del puts himself between Hess and the nanomachines, leveling his shot gun
<Kemonohime> <Hope> Oh! Those!
<ChadWinters`> Hmmm...6He stays back, pulling out his datapad and scanning
<Kemonohime> * Hope lowers her bustah railgun and fires into the nanomachines
<Kemonohime> <Hope> I got it!
<DeathStar> *the nanomchines shatter, . The reality quake resumes
<ChadWinters`> Don't. Leave them be!
<Kemonohime> <Hope> H-Huh?
<DeathStar> *X jerks and stumbles back
<Xanatos> <Kellin> ...........well that seems bad.
<Seraphna> Angelos> "YOU!!! DAMNIT!" he digs in more and holds onto X and Hess.
<AquaKoala> *Del attempts to grab and throw Hess well clear of it
<ChadWinters`> 6Dias feels the pull again. 1"X, grab tight.
<Xanatos> 6* Kane tchs and makes sure the grapple line is secure, having shot it at the group.
<Xanatos> <Kane> Tie that around yourselves!
<DeathStar> *X grabs Dias and Del, then grabs the line
<Seraphna> * Angelos nods and ties himself up on it like an achor.

<Seraphna> * Angelos gruns, but digs another hold to hold himself in place when he lands.
<Xanatos> 6* Kellin paces, trying to figure out how to stop the quake. He fires a test shot at it to see if anything happens.
* ChadWinters` makes a face and he tries to bring up scans to see if any of the nano machines are moving back into the area
<DeathStar> *more yellow nanites appear and the reality quakes stops again*
<Xanatos> 6* Kellin stops shooting lest he makes it worse.
<Seraphna> Angelos> "Anyone who shoots those things again I'll personally take on a tour of the Sun."
<Chaintan> <Kitty> can we bottle those
<Chaintan> <Kitty> if they can stop the quakes we might be able to make our own
<DeathStar> *Ren bottles one, even as the others shatter after doing theirjob*
<Xanatos> 6* Kane lets out a breath, retracting his grapple line once they're secure, then he moves to try and get a nano machine or two for a sample.

<Seraphna> * Si and Lisa head to the shuttle, Lisa rejoining them having stayed to deal with cleanup of the Senator thing.
