We know Sun V is trying to destroy them, and we know that they released their little .. things into the air on New Year's Eve as well to do something

<Kemonohime> * Kiseki looks for an access panel or an old-fashioned lock.

<Xanatos> <Saf> If you could make a dent maybe I could pry it open.
<kalonZombie> 6*Mal forms his dual blades while Mi'Na hums, looking at her hands
<DeathStar> *There is none visible, likely it is hidden on the side of the building*

<Seraphna> * Lisa moves around to start checking one side of the building, adjusting the device on her wrist.
<Kemonohime> * Kiseki reaches into a utility satchel and then blows a stream of white dust across the area around the wall
<DeathStar> *A box can be found on the right, covered up by crud*
<DeathStar> *Ako uses her manifestation to weak an area on doors*

<Seraphna> Lisa> "Something over here."
<Kemonohime> * Kiseki pulls out some clamps and attempts to open the box, sitting by it
<DeathStar> *Ako steps back, tired*
<Xanatos> 6* Saf uses her cybernetic arms ability to try and knock the weak area open
<DeathStar> *The door controls seem to have a complicated key card lock*
<Chaintan> 6*Hess gingerly pats Ako
<DeathStar> *Saf manages to tear open a small hole to get inside the warehouse. voices inside can be heard, concered*
<DeathStar> *concerned*
<DeathStar> *Ako leaps into the hole, rolling*
<DeathStar> <Lev> A bit too small for me
<DeathStar> *Ren goes cub and leaps into the hole and goes big again on the other side*
<Xanatos> <Saf> Contact. 6* She says, slipping inside carefully.
<Kemonohime> * Kiseki patiently sits while they infiltrate, hooking up her datapad to the control and simply runs a scan to find out what other security is around besides the door's locks and protocols.
<Seraphna> * Angela moves in, as does Si'Chii. Lisa watching for trouble as they do.

<DeathStar> *It just seems to be an alarm, to some unknown company. Though it is likely one of the companies protecting the other Gates*
<Chaintan> 6*Hess ripples in and keeps low
<Kemonohime> * Necia uses Kiseki's tap to remote in and performs the scan and maps the layout, relaying it to Hess and Kiseki's pads.
<Jackieness> <Reikana> *squeezes her way inside*
<DeathStar> *5 Boned Aliens, that the team is used to, rushes at them, swinging to try and smash them*
<DeathStar> *A Small Crystal Gateway behind them*
<Seraphna> * Angela leaps up over a swing and slashes at the head / eye area of one of them.
<kalonZombie> 6*Mal rushes in and does a bunch of quick slashes at one
<DeathStar> *Ako spends an ability point, manifesting to block a punch and pushes back*
<Chaintan> 6*Hess summons Holy Arrow and showers a volley
<Seraphna> * Si'Chii dances back and hurls fire at another's head.
<kalonZombie> 6*Mi'Na leaps up and kicks at the one Angela's attacking
<Xanatos> 6* Saf attempts to dodge the smash, slipping out to batons that crackle with electricity she does a few counter smacks.

<Jackieness> <Reikana> *goes low and tries to get around the fighting while the others do the fighting*
<DeathStar> *Ren spends an ability and shifts into a were-foxwolf and grabs one of the boned aliens, crushing their bones, twice her normal size and smashes him into the ground, killing it. The holy arrows andslashes take out another
<DeathStar> 6* Saf and si'Chii manage to trip up one into Saf's batons, taking out a third. The last two back up
<DeathStar> 6* Ren shifts back to normal, exhausted
<Kemonohime> * Kiseki glances over, seeing they're handling the aliens so she focuses on helping Necia locate any other gates guarded by the same security before they get pushed out or go off-grid
<Seraphna> * Lisa steps in and holds out her hand, throwing a shield over the gate to cut the remainig two off.
<DeathStar> *The last two rush at the group, moving for a lever on the wall

<kalonZombie> 6*Mal zips behind one real quick and tries to stab at their back

<Jackieness> <Reikana> jumps out of hiding and tries to grab the legs of the one going for the lever
<DeathStar> *One goes down*

<Seraphna> * Angela burns a speed to get in the way and slashes at one.
<kalonZombie> 6*Mi'Na leaps at the other one and kicks him in the head
<DeathStar> 6* both are taken down, defeated*
<Chaintan> 6*Hess eyes the lever
<DeathStar> 6* Kiseki would just come across the same ones they know about
<Seraphna> * Lisa maintains the shield, in case of reinforcements and peers around.
<DeathStar> 6* The lever seems hooked up to make shift explosives
<Seraphna> Angela> "Well that lever can't be anything good... yep. It's the bad lever."

<Xanatos> 6* Saf stands upright and deactivates the eletric on the batons, sliding them back into their holsters.
<Chaintan> 6*Hess takes a photo and messages the others to be on the look out
<Seraphna> * Jennifer steps in after to peer around, she begins collecting samples from the fallen aliens.

<DeathStar> Location: Mobile Base Kaori, the Gaming Fox Team
<DeathStar> 6* Vesta has landed them near a Corporation that seems to have a Gate somewhere in it. The Corporation seems to make, it claims, parts for anything from the army, to bikes
<DeathStar> 6* Eve studies the large corporate building, which ominiously seems to be ridiculously tall, like on some other world
<Seraphna> * Reese fixes his shades, rifle collapsed under his coat. He peers up and sighs.
<Kemonohime> * Fiona sees if she can patch into its network to find a layout map
<DeathStar> <John> So we just punch the building?
<Sara> <Kaori> Oh boy. The factory stage, huh?
<Sara> <Kaori> You're welcome to try, John.
<Kemonohime> <Fiona> Huh?
<Seraphna> Tabetha> *gently baps her pilot*
<DeathStar> *John walks over to the building side and punches it*
<DeathStar> *armed guards come out and grab John, starting to carry him inside*
<Seraphna> * Tabetha sighs and shakes her head. "Johnny."

<Xanatos> 6* Marcus adjusts his duster, making sure his shotgun is strapped on the inside. He pauses at John getting accosted and points.
<DeathStar> *Fiona would get a bit of the layout before she is shutout*

<DeathStar> *he notes, laughing manically as he is carried inside*

<Sara> <Kaori> Well, we don't exactly have much in the way of surprise anymore! *she readies her cannon*
<Seraphna> Tabetha> "We could consider the guards distracted?"
<Sara> <Kaori> May as well assume our information is accurate. At the least, we gotta save Mr. Punchy! Let's go!
<Xanatos> <Marcus> Cool. 6* he runs forward to punch a guard off John.
<DeathStar> *Tabetha woudl hear in her head John keeping the guards distracted with dirty jokes*
<DeathStar> *Until Marcus runs into the lobby and punches one*

<DeathStar> ... *John eyes him, then up as alarms go off*
<Seraphna> Tabetha> "...I swear to some sort of god..."

<Xanatos> <Marcus> Get it. PUNCH line. 6* Marcus laughs at himself, ignoring the alarm but oofs at the punch.
<Seraphna> * Tabetha sighs and moves in, An'Mi moves in as well and looks for the security desk. While Reese rubs his face. "Orders, bosslady?"
<Jackieness> <Cassandra> *sashays over, carrying a standard issue big gun* "...di we really need to bring Marcus?"
<DeathStar> *John sighs as more security guards come in, aiming weapons at them*
<Sara> <Kaori> Cry havoc. *Kaori fires her cannon toward the guards*
<DeathStar> <John> I'm too old for this shit
<Seraphna> * Tabetha holds out her hand and starts TKing one guard into the others.
<DeathStar> *John gets a grin and leaps into the fray*
<Xanatos> 6* Marcus lets out a hoot and jumps after the cannon, moving to do some sweet combo punches.
<Seraphna> * An'Mi seeks a security console to user her Brainbug ability on to at least halt further alarms.
<Seraphna> Reese> "This place is rediculously well armed." *he unfolds his rifle*
<Kemonohime> * Fiona makes a face and sneaks along around the outskirts of the disasters going down the halls, opening doors by hacking in.
<DeathStar> *Eve just sort of stays out of the fighting, jerking as XIII shows up to protect her and Fiona, and fights. Blasts begin to hit John, slowing him down as he bleeds, and civilians in the lobby run, a few dropping. Thankfully, An'Mi turns the alarm off, after 3 civilians are down, John is standing there bleeding, and Fiona has managed to open the doors to the basement
<DeathStar> <XIII> You idiots are lucky I have bad luck again
<DeathStar> *She notes, holding Eve close to her*
<Xanatos> (3 civilians or guards?)
<Sara> <Kaori> Someone give John an elixir or something. *she looks for camera to shoot*
<Jackieness> <Cassandra> *walks over and thwacks Marcus on the back of the head*
<DeathStar> *Civilians. The guards are all done*
<Kemonohime> * Fiona performs first aid on John, making a face.
<Xanatos> <Marcus> Hey fuck off, Kaori said go.
<Seraphna> * Tabetha frowns and touches John, giving him her healing as Reese starts checking on the civilians and giving first aid.
<Sara> * Kaori gestures downstairs, leading the way
<Xanatos> 6* Marcus follows along after Kaori.
<Seraphna> * Reese makes sure the three are patched up as best he can, if they're not dead, then follows, An'Mi ferreting along after them. Tabetha walks on, floating John if he can't walk.
<DeathStar> *John thanks Fiona, sitting in a chair* I'll guard here
<Seraphna> Tabetha> "Okay, but no more bullets."
<Jackieness> <Cassandra> *heads down* "Be on alert. They may attempt scorched earth tactics since we lost the element of surprise."
<Sara> * Kaori hands John an old-fashioned kite shield then heads down
<DeathStar> *John thanks her, holding it up*
<DeathStar> *As they go down to the basement, the guards are not down here for some reason*
<Xanatos> 6* Marcus glances around and shakes his head.
<Xanatos> <Marcus> Well this seems ominous.
<Seraphna> * Tabetha frowns and feels out for minds in the basement.
<DeathStar> *Soon reaching a door that is not on the building circuit, and is still locked. A strange lock that doesn't match the building's design is on a door*
<DeathStar> *there seems to be minds beyond the door, but hard to read*
<Sara> <Kaori> And now it looks ominous, too. Hey, does anyone recognize this thing?
<Seraphna> Tabetha> "People beyond this door... however, not normal minds."
<Xanatos> 6* Marcus peers at the lock and shakes his head.
<Seraphna> Tabetha> "It may be the aliens. But that is a guess."
<Xanatos> <Marcus> Looks complicated.
