<DeathStar> 6* It seems that Dias' blood sample of the virus has mutated into something way different than Wyrd's. It seems to be powerful and strong, while Wyrd's seems to be more contagious. There's even a sample where Jen's cure is being overriden by Dias' powerful virus. It seems Myria might have been trying to combine with Hess' blood before she vanished
<Seraphna> Jennifer> "Shit... Dias' virus is getting stronger and Wyrd's more contagious."
<Seraphna> Jennifer> "Let's see if I can finish what Myria started here while we wait for her to return. Combining Hess' resistive DNA might help stop this. You should probably alert those watching Dias though."
<DeathStar> <Ben> Myria probably fell asleep in her lab somewhere.
<Seraphna> * Jennifer examines Myria's notes and starts working on a combining process with her intial cure. She pauses and grabs a can of Omega coke and opens it to summon Myria.

<Jackieness> <Myria> *drops from the ceiling toward Jennifer*
<Seraphna> Jennifer> *hands her the coke* "Morning. We've got work to do, and fast. We need your plot powers."

<Seraphna> Jennifer> "Dias' virus is mutating past the point the cure can handle, and Wyrd's more contagious. If those two combine somehow, we've got a lot of dead dragoons."

<Seraphna> Jennifer> "Sadly the occult cures might not work well either..." *she muses while working* "Spirit healing requires some knowledge of what you're mending and these things keep changing on us."
<Chaintan> 6*Hess's hand takes Kaori's again but trembles a little as she moves to find somewhere private for them

<Seraphna> * Jennifer nods. "We need time. We'll try to buy as much as we can."
<Jackieness> <Myria> *waves her hand and uses her virtual console to bring up a virtual lab* "There are only so many changes that a virus can make before it becomes so different that it cannot work anymore. These are the related structures both in the genes and the chemical structures on their surfaces that still match."

<DeathStar> 6* She looks younger than Cassandra, with dark black hair, but her body seems based on the same technology, though more advanced. She steps forward and approaches them

<Seraphna> * Michelle peers about, keeping a wary eye on Chad. Angelos sighs a bit and moves over.

<ChadWinters`> We know they seem to work against any tears that open up, causing them to close

<DeathStar> <Taiga> Well, they have two functions, I believe, though I definitely know what function one is

<ChadWinters`> I assumed they did more than one thing. I figured they were also being used as a sort of tracking device at times
<Seraphna> Angelos> "Tracking what?"
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Function one is that they are definitely in the ground, working to negate the effects of the congergence of the other reality. They seem to sense when a quake is forming and make a counter field, like two forces going against each other
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Though this will lead to all sorts of issues after a while but in short it is working
<Xanatos> 6* Kellin glances from Chad to Taiga, thinking before snapping his fingers.
<Seraphna> MIchelle> "I don't like it when the enemy seems to know way more about a problem than we do."
<Jackieness> <Josephine> "I don't think any of us really do."

<Seraphna> Angelos> "You mean they're basically patching a dam, it keeps things at bay for a while, but eventually the foundation buckles instead."

<Seraphna> * Angelos takes it and smiles, then pockets it away somehow.

<Seraphna> Michelle> "Something to disperse something into the air during downfall?"
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Something like that. *She pulls out a strange core that looks like a radio* I've studied this and it looks like a signal. But at the same time it seems to also affect weather. Specifically rain. Despite being underground
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Every now and again these things get a code, these things inside light up, and make it rain
<Seraphna> Michelle> "And Wyrd was infected by rainfall."

* ChadWinters` scratches his jaw, then glances at Michelle. 1"Interesting theory."

<ChadWinters`> This whole ordeal seems more like a grudge match between Cran and Venerator.
