<DeathStar> <Lorelei> Anyway, we were about to do a visit at the Presidental Tower. See if Dias is behaving properly. Do you want to come along? *she peers at Hess and Kaori*

<Seraphna> * Michelle peeks in, having taken a break from missions for a bit, she watches the kids and is spending time teaching them archery.

<Xanatos> 6* Kellin winks and sticks out his tongue, clearly joking.

<Seraphna> * Truth gathers her things and Si hop up, stretching. "Right, let's go see if we need to slap Dias around."
<DeathStar> *Wyrd keeps eating, while Lorelei peers at her* Can you and Ako stay here and watch the kids? It'll give you some more time off. <Wyrd> Fine.
<Seraphna> * Truth blinks and gives Wyrd a hug.
<DeathStar> 6* Lorelei nods and opens her sister's door and talks Taiga into coming along, then Lorelei leaves a note for Umi that she is going

<Xanatos> 6* Kellin hops up and shoves the last bit of jerky in his mouth, mumbling something incoherant as he walks after Lorelei, pinching at Taiga's cheeks when he sees her.
<DeathStar> 6* Lorelei moves down to the team's vehicle and gets in
<Seraphna> Truth> "Okay."
<Seraphna> * Truth moves to follow the others, while Si hops after Lore.
<DeathStar> <Taiga> .... *she eyes Kellin and reaches up as if to hit him on the head*
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Just cuz I'm small doesn't mean you can pinch me!
<Xanatos> 6* Kellin jerks and jumps to the side, holding up karate hands.
<Seraphna> * Si picks up Taiga and bounces to the bus.

<DeathStar> 6* As they drive along L.A they soon begin to approach the Presidental Tower, where a huge arena is being built in the sky with gravitiy machines

<Jackieness> <Josephine> "What is say... only evil warlike races send champions to fight because they are.... evil warlike races?
<Xanatos> <Kellin> You think anyone we know will actually participate?
<ChadWinters> <Dias> I've thought that through already. If they come from a planet that's listed as war like or aggressive towards peace then they wont' be allowed to participate.

<Xanatos> <Kellin> But it's not universal if you omit people!
<ChadWinters> <Dias> I hope everyone who feels they are strong in one way or another will participate. Strength isn't always with the fist

<DeathStar> 6* Lorelei pauses as her radio goes off and she puts it to her ear. It seems that a gang is trying to hit a police station and steal their weapons

<Seraphna> * Truth looks to Lore, hoping for an excuse to leave.
<DeathStar> *she moves to go, calling Umi* Umi dear, we have a mission!

<Seraphna> * Truth follows eagerly.

<DeathStar> <Lorelei> We have a mission so try to keep your head down
<Jackieness> <Josephine> *climbs into the van and buckles up*

<Xanatos> 6* Kellin chuckles to himself and hops along after Lorlei, getting back in and moving up to hsi passenger seat like usuak.

<DeathStar> 6* Lorelei drives along, heading for the beach. She brings up information on the van computer, showing the police compound that is being hit. It seems to one of the major ones
<DeathStar> <Lorelei> It seems the police compound is being seiged from all sides and back up is far off, having been drawn away by another call
<Xanatos> 6* Kellin leans forward, looking a bit more serious.
<Xanatos> <Kellin> Probably no coincidence.
<Seraphna> Si> "Time to bust badguys."
<kalonZombie> <Gor> ...I'm... gonna stay here.
<Seraphna> Si> "One day I'll get you to learn Kung Fu."
<kalonZombie> <Gor> Or... I could stay safe in buses and hack things from afar.
<kalonZombie> <Gor> I already know how to do that.
<Jackieness> <Josephine> "If its coordinated, then have to be using somehting to coordinate. Maybe Gor could use his talents if they have comms or even C&C gear."
<kalonZombie> 6*Gor pulls out his datapad and gets on that
<DeathStar> 6 Lorelei pulls up onto the streets and begins to pass vehicles, getting closer
<DeathStar> <Lorelei> Hess, Kaori. I know you're not on the team, so up to you if you want to join
<Xanatos> <Kellin> If we hit here we can create an opening to get the survivors to safety. 6* He points to a back entrance.
<Nyaomi> <Mijiyu> ... Head down? Magess in trouble?
<Chain> <Hess> I might have to hang back with Kaokao...
<DeathStar> 6* Lorelei runs a red light and makes a sharp turn and drives along the beach, throwing up sand and making people run as she comes up along the back of the police compound. The sounds of shooting can be heard, then followed by a rocket launcher explosion. Lorelei parks

<DeathStar> 6* Taiga gets out as does Lorelei
<Sara> * Kaori peers around
<Jackieness> <Josephine> *climbs out and checks her guns*
<Seraphna> * Si hops out and fixes her tact suit, Truth forms her armor as she steps out.
<Xanatos> 6* Kellin hops out and pulls out his pistols, moving quickly towards the sound of gunfire.
<kalonZombie> 6*Gor looks to hack into the enemy's communications if they have any
<DeathStar> 6* The front and left sides of the compound are being assulted by what looks like a well-armed gang. They have machine guns and rocket launchers. The police seem to be being overwhelmed and many are dead. The gangs working their way into the police compound slowly, wearing what looks like high-tech armor
<Chain> 6*Hess looks back at Kaori
<Chain> <Hess> you ok? 6*whispering*
<DeathStar> 6* Gor would pick up basic communications between them; they seem to be talking about getting into the police armory to pick up some stolen technology the police picked up from a crime scene a week ago
<Sara> * Kaori nods, hopping out with the others and scratching her head
<Seraphna> Si> "Those are way too well armed."
<Jackieness> <Josephine> "Hmmm... why do they need to rob the police? They are already better geared."
<kalonZombie> 6*Gor looks to see if he can get into their armor to shock them unconscious, informing the team of what he heard
<DeathStar> 6* The gang has about 15 members
<DeathStar> 6* Unfortunately he can't
<DeathStar> <Lorelei> Good question. There's a lot of them
<DeathStar> <Taiga> I say wait for some of them to go inside, then pick off the ones outside
<kalonZombie> 6*Gor thinks, then sees if he can get into their weapons somehow
<Xanatos> 6* Kellin begins to charge his pistols.
<Xanatos> <Kellin> If we do that the cops inside will die.
<Seraphna> * Truth frowns. "I can disarm a few..." *hard to tell if she's being literal*
<DeathStar> 6* Unfortunately he can't. If he could then enemies could just do the same to the tema
<kalonZombie> <Gor> ...If you get them inside I can try and hack my way into the cops' stuff and coordinate them
<Sara> <Kaori> I brought this just in case things would get dicey *she notes to Hess as she points out her cannon*
<Jackieness> <Josephine> "Anyone recognize their fancy suits? If we knew the specs, we might be able to exploit their weaknesses."
<Nyaomi> * Mijiyu looks around, looking stressed by the dead police, kneeling by one
<Seraphna> Si> "I can cut off the outside group from the inside on your order."
<kalonZombie> 6*Gor tries to contact the police and get into the cameras inside
<Nyaomi> <Mijiyu> Bad people...
<DeathStar> 6* As 8 of the 13 go inside, Lorelei tenses and leaps down to deal with the 7 outside and help the remaining officers
<Xanatos> <Kellin> I'll go in, help defend those inside, you get the ones outside. 6* He quickly heads for the back entrance he pointed out earlier.
<Seraphna> Si> "Go now."
<Seraphna> Si> "I'll follow you when I cut them off."
<Jackieness> <Josephine> *moves from cover to cover, drawing her pistols*
<Seraphna> * Truth leaps after Lore.
<DeathStar> 6* Lorelei swings her hands, blasting and attacking, hitting their armored suits and trying to knock them down. The enemy turns, taken by surprise and turning and aims their weapons. Meanwhile Gor would get the camera views as the enemy begins to attack the fortified cops
<DeathStar> 6* The police area outside has a lot of open space - cars, firey debris, like a parking lot
<DeathStar> 6* Lorelei rolls behind a police car and keeps hitting the same one again and again until she drops him
<Jackieness> <Josephine> 8tricks shots, trying to hit the gangsters weapons with her shots*
<Seraphna> * Truth forms swords, aiming to have them form through weapons the enemies are holding, swinging her own blades. While Si forms a wall of fire to block off the seven and leaps through the flames, since they don't actually bother her.
<kalonZombie> 6*Gor gives both the team and the cops heads ups where the gangsters are coming from, and tries to slow them down with the bank's own defenses... shutters, gates, etc... when it wouldn't hinder the good guys
<Sara> * Kaori fires a big blast at the center of the enemies, rather than aiming at a particular enemy
<DeathStar> 6* Josephine knocks out two weapons, while the remaining six search for her, scrambling for their own cover. Taiga leaps and rushes inside while they are distracted
<DeathStar> 6* Kaori knocks them and makes them fall about, temporarily stunning them
<Xanatos> 6* Kellin would work to assist the fortified cops, using a mixture of charged attacks and hyperspace blasts from his gun.
<Nyaomi> * Mijiyu remains out, waiting for one to fire at them, then draws her blade in a bolt, rebounding the shot back toward its source
<Jackieness> <Josephine> *them moves from her current position to another covered position*
<Seraphna> * Si carries flame from her barrior with her and sends a sheet at the nearest criminals as she gets inside. Truth slices and slashes at those outside, her blades floating about her swinging to cause chaos.
<DeathStar> 6* Mijiyu would take out due to Kaori's stunning them, while Truth does the same, bringing the number down to 4. The remaining 4 regroup and get behind a car
<DeathStar> 6* Lorelei pauses, then fires at the car, hitting it again and again
<DeathStar> <Lorelei> Come on..
<Seraphna> * Truth sends two blades out at the tires to slice them out.
<Jackieness> <Josephine> *pops up and then fires, trying to ricochet some shots and psyche the four out of their hiding place behind the car*
<Sara> * Kaori fires her cannon in front of the car
<Nyaomi> * Mijiyu ducks down and sprints like the wind, sheathing her sword and hovering a hand over the hilt until close, joining Truth's attack in attempting to cleave into its drive
<Sara> * Trying to disturb it
<DeathStar> 6* Inside, the four run away from the car right before Lorelei blows it up
<Chain> 6*Hess attempts to ripple a pot hole for it to fall into
<DeathStar> 6* Out in the open now
<Nyaomi> * Mijiyu kicks off the exploding car and chases them down, turning her blade over and attempting a series of flurry strikes with the blunt end against them fleeing
<Seraphna> * Si focuses her Fire Chi ability and starts rushing at one of those remaining inside, limbs seemingly on fire.
<Jackieness> <Josephine> *then tries to kneecap them as they run*
<kalonZombie> 6*Gor stays nice and comfry inside the vehicle, hacking into the gang's communications and blasts them with feedback to slow them down
<DeathStar> 6* Mijiyu and Josephine and Si take three of them down, with the fourth going down due to fear
<Seraphna> * Si works at restraining the straggler.
<DeathStar> 6* Inside meanwhile, Kellin and the cops, with Gor's help have slowed them down enough for Taiga and Si to rejoin, and reduce their down down to 6. However, they have just gotten angrier and pulled out rocket launchers
<DeathStar> <Taiga> ... time to move
<DeathStar> 6* She grabs cops and runs
<Xanatos> 6* Kellin jerks and grabs a few, running himself.
<Seraphna> * Si grunts and tosses a rolling wave of heat and flame out at the launchers and grabs cops, running the other way for cover.
<Chain> 6*Hess grabs any remaining and ripples out with Kaori
<kalonZombie> 6*Gor tries the feedback trick again on the rocket launcher dudes, not wanting them to fire that
<Sara> * Kaori eeps but seems like she mostly expected the ripple and wasn't really surprised
<kalonZombie> <Gor> This was so much easier when I could just jump into things...
<DeathStar> 6* Outside, Lorelei, Hess, and Kaori would hear booms from inside
<Sara> <Kaori> Oh dear...
<Nyaomi> * Mijiyu returns to Lorelei's side, panting

<DeathStar> 6* Lorelei pauses and leans around the corner, holding a hand up, signalling she spots them outside the armory, near Kellin and working to break in with explosives

<DeathStar> 6* As Kellin and Taiga enter, they find a bunch of confisicated weapons and other material. But in the center is a huge locked box.
<DeathStar> <Lorelei> *forms her energy blast hands, and nods to the others to fire into the ripple box
<Xanatos> <Kellin> Heeere we go. 6* He slides up to the locked box, peering it over.
<Jackieness> <Josephine> *fires her pistols into the kill box*
<DeathStar> 6* The gang peers around at the ripples surrounding them and Lorelei fires into one, her blast bouncing around and nailing them again and again

<DeathStar> 6* With Josephine's blast added, they begin to get torn up more
<Xanatos> 6* Kellin glances over his shoudler towards the shooting and smirks, heaving to lift up the box, he grunts and sways a bit to the left, then the right.

<DeathStar> 6* There's software and notes, and it looks like this might be how to convert a person
