<Xan> 6* Logan keeps his eyes low as they walk, looking for any sort of trip wires or other foot-related traps.
<Kaelan> Nell> "Hope those others reach us. They seemed nice. For bait."

<DeathStar> *Bonnie walks along. On this next floor is a bunch of tiles. Red tiles, blue tiles, green tiles, spread out in a pattern, with a door on the other side
<Jackieness> <Bella> "...mmmmm....no."
<Xan> 6* Bix walks forward with his hand up in the air, a small dish rotating on his finger. He boops occassionally as if tracking something on a radar.
<Sara> <Chelsea> I wonder why someone would make mazes in their own bases anyway, it would be really inconvenient for them too

<DeathStar> <Bonnie> They probably have a short cut through them. Or like puzzles
<Jackieness> <Bella> "...looks like a floor puzzle..."
<kalonZombie> <Max> Sooo... I can't solve it with a hammer then?
<Kaelan> Luci> "Looks like an overly complicated puzzle that no doubt there's a switch somewhere which will turn all the tiles pink or something."

<Kemonohime> <Ziza> Oooookay, but don't say didn't offer

<Jackieness> <Bella> "Look at the pattern."
<Sara> * Chelsea peers ahead, her eyes going crossed
<Xan> 6* Logan peers at the pattern, glancing around to see if there's a way to get higher to get a better look.
<DeathStar> 6* There seems to be no switch. Perhaps the C'en just know what color to step on. The front row goes Red, Green, Blue, Red, Blue, then the next has Green, Red, Blue, Red, Green, Blue and the last has another set
<DeathStar> <Seniga> I'm guessing there's 3 different colors we can step on 3 times to cross
<DeathStar> <Seniga> But I don't have the strategy guide?!
<Kemonohime> <Ziza> Floooor puzzle?" She tilts her head, unable to see, sniffing at the ground
<DeathStar> *She pulls at her hair*
<Kaelan> Nell> "You know, a colorblind person would be doomed here. I call discrimination schenanigans... then again we're dealing with people that feed us other people so..."
<kalonZombie> 6*LJ thinks, pulls out a rock he has in his pocket, and tosses it on the red square
<DeathStar> *it sinks in. Then again, until they step another, it likely won't trigger*
<Jackieness> <Bella> "Anyone see any clues around the room?"
<Kemonohime> <Ziza> Seeee nothing!" She pouts.
<Kaelan> Nell> "Now the question is... same color or sequence?"
<DeathStar> *there are faint scents on the ground*
<Sara> * Chelsea looks up, wondering about the possibility of just going over
<DeathStar> *There is space, but there is indentions in the wall - likely weapons*
<Kemonohime> * Ziza pauses and moves back and forth like an actual animal on fours, sniffing and following the scent
<Sara> <Chelsea> There are more traps besides just the floor, so that's great.
<DeathStar> *Ziza would smell someting on the left red one*
<DeathStar> <Seniga> What is she doing?
<Jackieness> <Bella> "I bet they thought of flying and crap too."
<Kemonohime> * Ziza hops to it, then sniffs to follow the trail where it's stronger
<Sara> <Chelsea> Crap? You think people did that on the floor?
<Sara> * She blinks
<Kaelan> Nell> "...I'd say we stop her, but I kind of want to see how this plays out."
<DeathStar> *it leaps all the way to the far blue one*
<DeathStar> *not the closest*
<Kemonohime> * Ziza springs to the far blue
<DeathStar> *then the closest green one to the left*
<Kemonohime> * Ziza takes the easier movement to close-green
<Xan> <Logan> ... 6* He stares trying to make sense of the pattern she's creating.

<DeathStar> *the ground sinks in and goes normal*
<DeathStar> <Seniga> I think she did it
<Kaelan> Nell> "Okay..." *she starts pointing at each square in order* "She... figured it out?"
<Kemonohime> <Ziza> Figured what out?
<DeathStar> *Seniga hurries to the door* Lets go
<Jackieness> <Bella> "The pattern!"
<Sara> <Chelsea> In hindsight, we could have tried to dust for footprints or something
<Sara> * Chelsea shrugs and follows Seniga
<Jackieness> <Bella> *runs forward to the door*
<kalonZombie> 6*Max and LJ follow the pattern, following Seniga
<DeathStar> <Bonnie> I would have never done what she did. *she sniffs, a proud cat*
<Kaelan> Nell> "Hold on." *she pulls off a sheet of metal and embeds it into the wall, then the answer to the pattern gets etched in the metal, she sighs* "There."
<Kemonohime> <Ziza> What... pattern?" She scrunches her face, baffled, but scurries after Seniga
<Kaelan> * Nell follows.
<Xan> <Logan> Or paid attention to wear on the switches maybe... 6He muses, following Seniga, as does Bix.

<DeathStar> 6* Taiga's group arrives on the same floor, in another area, a door away across but in front of them is a gaping pit and above them is spikes.
<DeathStar> 6* Taiga looks left, then right
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Oookay. *the far right wall apparantly has a button combination*
<Kaelan> Angelos> "Well... easy enough for me to get across. But the rest we may wanna figure something out for."
* ChadWinters` kneels, eyeing the gap. 1"Think an invisible floor?
<Sara> * Kaori peers at the wall
<Kaelan> * Tabetha muses, then pulls out a cookie and tosses it at the floor.
<Xan> <Kellin> I see buttons, I can shoot 'em!
<DeathStar> *Taiga studies the buttons. the buttons go ****^^^***^^^** it seems*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "No! Not the cookie!"
<Xan> 6* Saf muses as the invisible floor idea and kneels to trace her hand along the gap to see if it comes into contact with anything.
<Kaelan> Tabetha> "Don't worry, I brought 8 dozen. I need to refill my daughter's supply."
<ChadWinters`> 6Cel squints for across the gap towards the butons.

<DeathStar> *the cookie is shreddred by blades below*
<Kaelan> Tabetha> "No invisible floor it seems."
<Xan> 6* Saf jerks and brings her hand back up quickly.
<DeathStar> <Taiga> It is a big floor
<DeathStar> <Taiga> You'd have to toss a bunch
<Kemonohime> * Ouka holds out her hand to Tabetha.
<Kemonohime> <Ouka> I want one.
<Xan> 6* Saf then traces her hand along the edge, outside of blade rang but still to find something solid.
<Kaelan> * Tabetha takes a few out, crumbles them up, then, assisted with TK, tosses them out in a wide dispersal
<Kaelan> * Tabetha then gives one to Ouka.
* ChadWinters` grunts at Tabetha then slides his hand along the belt and twists a small orb dropping it down the gap, smoke begins to slowly rise
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Anyway, someone figure out the stupid buttons so that I might resume my rampage."
<DeathStar> *Tabetha and Saf finds a path, ironcially pathing the button pattern perhaps*
<Kemonohime> * Ouka peers at Tabetha and Saf and Chad, eyes the cookie, then shrugs and eats it.
<DeathStar> *the blades spin and disperse the gas*
<Kaelan> Angelos> Tabetha just solved a puzzle... with a cookie."
<Kaelan> Tabetha> "One day you will all realize the superiority of my cookies."
<Xan> 6* Kellin eyes the button combination, then the path, then the combination.
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Great. *she steps onto the walk way and steps forward, walking straight until she starts tumbling, about to fall off into the blades, grabbing the edge*
<Xan> <Kellin> Neat.
<Sara> <Kaori> I'd take a game over a cookie.
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Don't go straight, you'll fall
* ChadWinters` moves after Taiga, grabbing for her as she goes.
<DeathStar> *Ren grabs her mom and pulls her up*
<Xan> <Kellin> ...but the cookies, did they lie!?
<Sara> * Kaori slowly moves after the others
<Xan> <Saf> Or did it change?
<ChadWinters`> They probably change as it goes on.
<Kaelan> Tabetha> "Perhaps I need to spread more."
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Further into the floor, the path likely alters
<Jackieness> <Noire> "How diabolical!"
<Sara> <Kaori> So I wonder, it should be 4, 3, 3, 3, 2, right?
<Kaelan> * Tabetha compares the buttons to the path.
<DeathStar> <Ren> Can't hurt to try. I think that's how many steps straight mom walked
<Xan> <Kellin> So 4 steps or tiles in one direction, 3 steps or tiles in another and so on along that path?
<Sara> <Kaori> I think something like that, yeah
<ChadWinters`> Then you need to decide which way.
<DeathStar> <Taiga> But which way do I turn?
<Sara> * Kaori taps at the air next to where Taiga almost fell with her foot
<ChadWinters`> But if we go somewhat slow, we'll feel them out. 6He pulls out his gun then fires a shot to the right a bit and then to the left a bit
<Xan> <Kellin> Stars and Carets...how does that symbolize direction?
<DeathStar> *It pings to the left, the path goes left*
<ChadWinters`> There you go.
<Sara> * Kaori shrugs and takes 3 steps that way
<Xan> <Saf> It's...odd. 6* She follows Kaori, ready to grab her if she starts to fall.
<DeathStar> *Taiga walks 3 steps left then steps, then feels her foot around, then heads straight 3 feet*
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Let me guess
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Left again?
<Jackieness> <Noire> *flails and then gets down on her hands and knees, crawling forward and feeling out the path*
<Kemonohime> <Syiean> This layout for a stronghold is ridiculous, like a child's playhouse.
<Kaelan> * Tabetha watches them, mapping out their path in TK'd cookie crumbs as they go.
* ChadWinters` moves three to the left, going slow enough incase it ends. 6He moves to up then fires fight again
<Xan> <Kellin> Try it. Maybe there are other symbols for right and back that we haven't encountered.
<ChadWinters`> *right*
<ChadWinters`> 6Cel moves along behind not trying to crowd
<Sara> * Kaori, near Taiga, taps with her foot again
<Sara> <Kaori> Invisible floors are weird but at least it's not those voom, voom blocks
<Xan> 6* Kellin sticks tot he back of the group. Saf sticks near the front ready to snag people up about to fall.

<Xan> <Kellin> You step on them and go VOOOM as they move you around.
<DeathStar> *at the end, after going straight, left, straight, they find it goes right, then straight, and they reach the door*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "No one voom-vooms like Noire!"
<DeathStar> *Ren pants as they reach the exit*
<Xan> 6* Kellin claps.
<Kemonohime> <Syiean> I wish not to 'voom voom'
<Xan> <Kellin> Good job everyone!
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Lets do this. *She opens the door and finds:
<Kaelan> * Tabetha follows via the breadcrumbs and Angelos appears next to them on the other side.
<Xan> 6* Saf looks confused.
<Xan> <Saf> There was a right in there though, that doesn't make sense.
<Sara> <Kaori> Actually, the voom voom blocks are those blocks in old games that disappear entirely, then reappear and make that "voom" sound.
<DeathStar> Song 2: Battle of the C'en Weapon
<Sara> * She notes, relieved that they made it
<Xan> <Kellin> OH I was thinking of the ones where you'd step on them and they would go in a direction until hitting something.
<Kemonohime> <Syiean> I would have simply leapt across, but a princess does not abandon thy comrades." She sniffs.
<DeathStar> 6* The future kids are fighting C'en Warrior Lieutenant with Crystal Weapons. Behind them is a massive tentacled crystal weapon embedded into the ground, glowing, with a mechanical face almost glowing full of shards
<DeathStar> *Bonnie flies through the air after being thrown by a Lieutenant*
<DeathStar> <Bonnie> MEROWL
<Sara> * Chelsea leaps and catches her
<Kaelan> Angelos> "Let's say we make the fight fair and take out that weapon?"
<DeathStar> *Bonnie paw thanks*
<Sara> <Kaori> Oh, gross, another tentacle monster
<DeathStar> *The Lieutenants charge and slash with their unbreakable weapons. The mechanical tentacles grab at Kaori*
<Kemonohime> * Syiean pauses, forming her lance. "I feel an aversion to tangling with that thing..."
<DeathStar> <Seniga> *she keeps trying to hit one of the Lieutenants*
<Sara> * Kaori slaps one of the tentacles -- yes, slaps it -- before drawing her cannon and firing
* ChadWinters` quickly aims his guns, firing two shots at one of the LT's weapons as they attack
<DeathStar> <Taiga> *forms her gloves and her and Ren rush forward*
<Kaelan> * Angelos teleports to the tentacles, cutting at the ones on Kaori with a hyprbeam.
<Kaelan> * Tabetha aims both guns and starts firing at the weapon.
<ChadWinters`> 6Cel quickly draws her blades moves towards the massive crystal weapon.
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Oh, a tentacle monster! How... gauche."
<Xan> 6* Bix is getting knocked around by a LT. Logan is trying to deal witht he tentacle thing.
<Sathen> *Jinx is busy squaring off with one of the other lieutenants, striking and flowing in an almost hypnotic fashion and avoiding counterattacks*
<DeathStar> *The crystal tentacle bounces Angelos back and it retreats. The tentacles glow with energy now; one touch and flesh sizzles*
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Form up
<Xan> 6* Kellin stares
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Two teams. Fight team, fight the Liutenant
<Kaelan> * Angelos pops back out of the way and Tabetha keeps her distance.
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Second team, find a way to bring the machine down
<DeathStar> <Taiga> GO
<Kemonohime> * Syiean makes a face, then charges her lance and steps, hurtling it toward the face, holding up her hand, then snaps and detonates it once it's close or about to be deflected
<DeathStar> *Taiga rushes at the machine
<Jackieness> <Bella> *slams a fist to the ground, trying to liquify the floor under the lieutenants*
<Kaelan> * Nell forms her rock armor and rushes the liutenants like a bull.
<ChadWinters`> Cel, go for the LT's. 6He starts moving towards the crystal machine, studying it.
<ChadWinters`> 6Cel nods and changes directions heading towards a LT
<Kaelan> * Angelos holds out his hands and fires hyperblasts at the weapon, Tabetha starts trying to crush tentackles with TK force.
<Sara> * Kaori shrugs and fires on the lieutenants with her cannon, aiming for the middle with an overloaded shot
<Xan> 6* Saf aims her cannon at the LT, firing for face shots.
<DeathStar> *the face of the machine seems to glow and blink, while it swings. For my sake, I am now focusing on the Lieutenant battle*
<Kemonohime> * Ouka dashes toward the Lieutenants, hand over the hilt of her sword. Once close she lowers her center of gravity and quickdraws, using the blade's long length to sweep a wide arc.
<Xan> 6* Kellin rubs his chin and approaches the tentacle thing.
<DeathStar> <Lieutenants> *they charge their weapons and begin to swing and parry, then prepare an OG. The amount of you who succeed will determine the counter attacks*
<kalonZombie> 6*Max rushes towards the LTs and tries to swings his maul down onto one of their heads
<ChadWinters`> 6Cel body arc's with electricity
<Kemonohime> * Ouka sheathes the blade after a parry and closes her eyes, focusing
<DeathStar> Up, Down, Left, Right, Down, Up, Left, Down, Right, Down, Up, Left, Right, Down, Up, Left, Right, Up, Down, Left, Right, Down, Left, Up, Left, Right
<Sathen> *Jinx steps close in towards her lieutenant, dropping her swords and jabs up with both hands to the side of the lieutenants face; telepathic waves erupting from both sides simulatneously at different rates to fry the lieutenants brain from within*

<Kaelan> * Nell sends spikes of stone and metal out into the LT's, which expand and burst as they go.
<Kemonohime> <Ouka> Swallowtail counter!" she draws in a flash to parry, but the second the blade connects, spins her body and overhanded-slams the nodachi downward at its wielders' head
<Xan> 6* Bix blasts out from the side, body glowing traces of red and swings an explosive fist out toward the face of a LT, knowing he needs to explose it.
<ChadWinters`> 6Cel's speed increases and she moves in fast at a a LT, her blade crackling with energy as she leaps up and swings driving it towards a LT's neck hole and releasing a shock of electricity in to it
<Sara> * Kaori fires her overloaded cannon at the middle of the lieutenants, as emoted before, the floor in the middle of them if possible
<Jackieness> <Bella> *focuses on crowd-control duties for the moment, trying to reduce the liuetenants mobility with her mud manipulation*
<kalonZombie> 6*LJ fires his pistols into an LT, not stopping until the clips are empty
<DeathStar> *Ren spins with Seniga and the two slash at their eyes, and Bonnie does a pom pom cheer. The 10 lietenants die, their weapon shards flying to people*
<DeathStar> *meanwhile, the other group*
<DeathStar> <Taiga> The face. Has to be a weak point
<Kemonohime> * Ouka wipes the blade out of habit and sheathes it.
<DeathStar> *she rushes in and punches it*
<DeathStar> *and cracks it, whacked bcak*
<Xan> <Kellin> Bold move Chad, let's see how it pays off!
<Sathen> *Jinx wrings out her hands before picking up her swords and looking around* *softly* No force in the 'verse...
<ChadWinters`> Good chance. 6He trains Ebony at it and fires a charged shot bringing it around the tentacles and at it
<Kemonohime> <Syiean> I tried, but it blocked it...t hese things are tough..." She follows up Taiga with a springing lunge, charging the end of her spear after Taiga is knocked away to stab
<Kaelan> * Tabetha nods and aims her guns. "THOUSAND SHOTS!!!!" *she calls out and fires two shots from her guns imbued with TK that batter at the face wildlty*
<Xan> 6* Logan just uses his axe to try and keep the tentacles back.
<DeathStar> *the tentacle sweeps in to grab the girls as they attack it's face but Chad stuns it*
<Sara> * Chelsea focuses on countering/parrying tentacles
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Oh, how about this!" *uses Dark Matter focused behind the face to try to slow down or even immobilize the tentacles*
<DeathStar> *then Logan. The tentacles jerk and freeze a moment, allowing Syriean to blase a hole in the face, revealing a crystal core. 4 tendrils are attached to it*
<Xan> 6* Kellin quickly pulls up his pistol and fire for one of the tendrils.
<Kaelan> * Angeloa aims and fires hyperspace blasts at the tentacles to keep them back, Tabetha aims again and refires her THousand Shots move at the crystal core.
<DeathStar> *the enemy, glows, angry and moves faster, now moving normal speed, even with Dark matter and the other enemies. Prepare yourself for.... OG. ... at 10 seconds thanks to everyone
<Kaelan> Tabetha> "THOUSAND.... SHOTS!!!"
<Kemonohime> * Syiean jerks, narrowing herself, suddenly in the middle of a hail of a ... thousand shots.

<Kemonohime> * Syiean opens her eyes after wincing, cringing between all the shots, beams and such
<Kaelan> Tabetha> "Forgive me, Thousand Shots is a secret move taught to me by Johny."
<DeathStar> 6* Outside, a shuttle flies up, flown up Ruhi, and Cherie
<Xan> <Logan> We need an exit.
<Kemonohime> <Syiean> ... ..." She straightens, brushing herself off and looking indignant.
<Kaelan> Nell> "There's our way out!"
<Kemonohime> <Syiean> G-Good job, you all.
<ChadWinters`> There. 6He points at the shuttle
<DeathStar> *flying up as the citadel's walls crumble*
<Jackieness> <Bella> "Let's run!"
<Kaelan> * Nell forms a ramp up to the shuttle and runs for it.
<Sara> * Chelsea picks up Bonnie and books it
<Kaelan> * Angelos and Tabetha run for the provided ramp.
<DeathStar> 6* Taiga runs as the bulding begins to tilt and leaps and lands on the ramp
<Xan> 6* Saf moves over towards the now opening in the wall and then pauses and follows Nell up her ramp.
* ChadWinters` starts running for the ramp. Cel moving for it
<Sathen> *Jinx steps up next to Nell and smiles, following up the ramp to the shuttle*
<Jackieness> <Bella> *dashes for the shuttle ramp, yanking Max along*
<Sara> * Kaori shrugs and begins moving for the shuttle, jumping, but not jumping very well
<DeathStar> *Seniga huffs and runs, stumbling and Ren leaps and leands
<Xan> 6* Bix, Logan and Kellin all move for the ramp as well.

<Kemonohime> * The thing wrapped around Shion shows an eye again at the exchange between Gor and the King, but soon passes out of sight again

<Kemonohime> * Vyvy darts after him as he's tossed by Shade, leaping and comes down with a savage swinging of her sword, Karmic Fang, offensive, so wild in the attacks that most would be damaged even blocking-- but this is a C'en dude.
