<Xanatos> <Simon> It is...a rather long story. But that is a person. 6* Simon peers down the branch and then back the way they came.
<Sathen> *Maeryn moves along the large branch easily as she pulls out her staff* I could maybe get a long vine growing but who knows if it would reach anywhere.
<DeathStar> <Rain> I appeared on with others like Celes, then was brought up here
<DeathStar> 6* they seem to be very, very far up, but the fog makes it hard to tell
<DeathStar> 6* Vyvy and Ellie would notice something is missing
<Seraphna> Alita> "So he's even pulling in more people who had no push in the fight... perhaps if we get to the trunk we can make our way down?"
<Nyaomi> * Vyvy notices... something!
<DeathStar> 6* Her summoner pwoers are gone
<DeathStar> 6* As in there's no spirits anymore
<Sara> * Ellie looks down at the ground, frowning
<Seraphna> Alita> "...I... can't feel the spirits... Ellie? Vyvy?"
<Seraphna> * Alita also being a summoner. Huff.
<Xanatos> 6* Simon frowns, also a summoner y'dick.
<DeathStar> 6* The spirits do not care about you newbies
<Chaintan> 6*Umi's ears prick up before she attempts to see if she can swap forms or even float

<Sathen> Maeryn> So help me, if that bastard did something to Mistress Gnome...I'll castrate him.
<Xanatos> <Simon> We...should move toward the trunk. I don't know what else we could do.

<Jackieness> <Sasha> "PErhaps they were tied to Centerpoint... and with it gone, they too are gone."
<Seraphna> * Alita nods, "It seems spirit energy with the other reality works, just not ours."
<Chaintan> 6*Umi exhales a sigh of relief and floats to the trunk
<Nyaomi> <Vyvy> I'm... sorry guys, I don't know who a lot of you are, but I assume we're all after the big guy and uh.. I'm just a hard-to-kill lizard without the spirits..

<Jackieness> <Sasha> "If we are to make our way to the trunk, which way is it?"
<Seraphna> * Alita grumbles and moves towards the trunk. "Vyvy, remember yourself, you're more than just a summoner. You too Ellie."
<DeathStar> <Rain> *rubs her face, looking a bit sunken* If the spirits were made of the shards
<DeathStar> <Rain> Maybe something happend to them

<Seraphna> Alita> "We'll just have to bring them back. Somehow."
<Sathen> *Maeryn narrows her eyes and starts moving in the direction that would make sense for the main trunk of the tree*

<Xanatos> <Simon> Most of us are your classmates Vyvy. 6* He tilts his head at her.
<DeathStar> *Rain peers left, then right, then heads in one direction, thinking that way is the trunk*
<DeathStar> Song 2: Get the Spirits Back
<Seraphna> * Alita frowns and ties to get a sense if the branch gets bigger in one direction or the other, like on a normal tree.
<DeathStar> 6* It seems to get bigger the way Umi and Rain are going
* Seraphna follows them. "I think they have the right way."

<Jackieness> <Sasha> "Rain is going this way... let's not separate." *heads the way that Umi and Rain are going*
<Xanatos> 6* Simon rubs the back of his neck and moves after them.

<Sara> * Ellie looks down at her necklace as she walks behind the others

<DeathStar> 6* They reach a massive tree trunk. The dragon does not come. Rain turns to peer at Vyvy
<DeathStar> <Delgi> *she bows*
<Seraphna> Alita> "Hrm... no Talia either... I'm not sure I want to risk calling her either."
<Seraphna> * Alita peers around the trunk for a way in or down.
<Chaintan> 6*Umi sniffs and tries to circle the trunk if she can
<Sara> * Ellie knocks on the trunk lightly
<DeathStar> 6* The tree goes up and down. As they glance up, they see the face of Shade on the trunk a ways up and Gnome

<DeathStar> 6* The tree shimmers while knocked
<Seraphna> Alita> "There!"
<Seraphna> Alita> "Let's get them back!"
<Xanatos> <Simon> ...the tree absorbed them?
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "How, is the question."
<DeathStar> <Delgi> That is not creepy at all
<DeathStar> <Lenneth> .... What is this thing?
<DeathStar> *She keeps a hand on Vyvy*
<Seraphna> Alita> "I wonder... could we try calling them out?"

<Xanatos> 6* Simon tries to feel for some type of handhold, to see if he could climb up towards them.
<Nyaomi> <Jem> It feels like Centerpoint, but... more
<Nyaomi> * Jem stays close to Lenneth, overwhelmed by everything but still protective
<DeathStar> 6* The tree has plenty of branches, strong leaves, and other places to clumb up
<Chaintan> 6*Umi floats to the exposed faces of Shade and Gnome, licking to see if she can get a reaction
<Seraphna> * Alita starts climbing after him.
<DeathStar> Song 3: Rise Up Yggdrasil
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "Then up we go, it seems." *looks at the others*
<DeathStar> *Lenneth takes a deep breath and leaps up in places to reach a face. The face looks in pain as it sinks back into the tree*
<Seraphna> Alita> "H-Hey! Give them back!"
<Sathen> *Maeryn moves to climb up as well, trying to get close enough to gently run her fingers across the side of Gnomes face*
<DeathStar> *Delgi frowns as she climbs up. Rain pants as she goes up. There are more faces the higher up they go*
<DeathStar> *Sylph's being on one side*
<Seraphna> Alita> "I'm coming Undine!"
<Xanatos> 6* Simon frowns, reaching out to try and see if he can sense any connection to the tree.
<Jackieness> <Sasha> *starts up the tree behind Rain*
<DeathStar> 6* The only real connection is life itself
<Xanatos> 6* Simon lets out a sigh and continues up.
<DeathStar> <Delgi> This tree creeps me out. My entire senses feel like it wants to consume me
<Sara> * Ellie moves over toward Sylph, trying to get to her
<Seraphna> * Alita pauses and tries using Main Spirit Call Lv. 1 to see if she can draw them out.
<DeathStar> *Ellie reaches the sylph face*
<Chaintan> 6*Umi whines and keeps licking and before trying to dig at the bark
<Nyaomi> * Vyvy rubs her head, then draws the moonflower blade and attempts to stab it into the tree
<Sara> * Ellie lightly touches at Sylph with a sad look on her face
<DeathStar> *Umi digs at the tree and as they stab, the tree shudders. Suddenly, creatures begin to emerge from the tree, strange monsters*
<Sathen> *Maeryn frowns as she tries to pet Gnome's face as she tries to reach out to the tree itself like her kind do back home to control it*
<Seraphna> Alita> "Did that... work?"
<DeathStar> *they are covered in mana sap and energy. They roar and come after the group*
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "Heds up! Monsters!"
<DeathStar> *Delgi peers up*
<Seraphna> Alita> "What are those...? Damnit, weapons out!"
<Xanatos> 6* Simon jerks and braces on a branch, forming his spear.
<kalonZombie> 6*Ceilia blinks, then tosses ice at them, hoping the sap combined with the ice will slow them to a halt
<DeathStar> <Lenneth> I think we angered it.
<Nyaomi> * Vyvy focuses on Shade and attempts to call her to the sword. "Don't really care..."
<Seraphna> * Alita grabs her staff and grumbles. "Yeah well it already peeved me over."
<Nyaomi> * Jem makes a face, adopting a hand to hand stance and moving in front of Lenneth
<Jackieness> <Sasha> *draws her sword*
<Seraphna> * Alita aims her staff and tosses a fireball at one of the incoming enemies.
<DeathStar> Song 4: Mirrors or Higher
<Xanatos> 6* Simon uses his spear's length to keep them at bay, conserving his energy for now.
<DeathStar> 6* As the creatures are slowed, the tree suddenly has strange mirror like things apepar in it. The team suddenly has the choice to either enter them or climb higher
<Sathen> *Maeryn grimaces as she turns to face the sap monsters, her staff spinning a bit as she uses her Leaf 1 to create a long scythe like edge on the end of the staff*
<DeathStar> 6* The creatures screech and slash. Lenenth blocking for now
<Seraphna> Alita> "Through or up?"
<kalonZombie> <Ceilia> Through!
<DeathStar> <Delgi> .... *she pants and spins, trying to slow them down for the team* I can try to slow them down for you mistress
<Seraphna> * Alita sends a pillar of flame up from under the monsters.
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "The tree has opened up. The possibility is that we can retrieve Shade and Gnome by going within."
<Nyaomi> * Jem slips in between strikes and smashes her fist, elbows and knees into them, pacing her breathing. Vyvy doesn't hesitate after her call, leaping in
<DeathStar> <Lenneth> Or a trap
<Seraphna> Alita> "Sasha, your call. Make it fast."
<Sara> <Ellie> So those are the ones you care about... *she murmurs under her breath*
<Xanatos> <Simon> Yes but gaining out allies back is important.
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "Inside, now!"
<kalonZombie> 6*Ceilia forms an icicle like the Sorceress in FF8 and tosses it at one of the monsters
<Sara> * Ellie steps in

<Sathen> *Maeryn swings at a couple of the monsters as they get close, but falls back towards the mirrors*
<Seraphna> * Alita moves through.
<Chaintan> 6*Umi moves in
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "Delgi, fallback into the tree!" *heads for the mirror doors*
<Nyaomi> <Jem> I'll be close behind, Lady Lenneth.
<Xanatos> 6* Simon leaps for the branch the mirror door is on and pulls himself up, moving towards it.
<DeathStar> *Delgi spins, as more and more monsters appear. Rain and Lenenth leap in*
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "Rain, can you make it?!"
<Jackieness> <Sasha> *stops at the door* "Delgi, come! Please!"
<Seraphna> * Alita peers back and covers Delgi with a volley of fire. "Delgi! Move it!"
<Seraphna> (Covers as in cover fire)
<DeathStar> <Delgi> ....*her hands hurries as they monsters fly to stab*
<kalonZombie> 6*Ceili rushes through
<Sathen> *Maeryn moves in last, throwing out a vine towards Delgi to lasoe her in towards the mirror before going through it herself*
<Xanatos> 6* Simon pauses at the door, fighting some to buy Jem time to come in as well.
<Jackieness> <Sasha> *ducks into the door*
<DeathStar> *Maeryn, since appearantly others are there, slams a bunch of them together*
<Nyaomi> * Jem roundhouses one, then uses another to leap off and propel herself in after Delgi/Simon
<DeathStar> *the monsters eagerly coming in*
<Seraphna> * Alita ducks into the door after provding her cover.
<DeathStar> *Simon, Maeryn, Jem, Alita and Deligo hve 3 seconds to untangle*
<Xanatos> 6* Simon grunts at the slam, but shakes it off, standing and holding his spear ready.

<Sathen> *Maeryn stomps her foot down at the tree and uses one of her abilities to create a wall of vines to stop the monsters before trying to close the door in some way*

<Jackieness> <Myria> *yawns and looks around* "Whaaaaaa?"
<Xanatos> 6* Logan slowly edges to the side to peer down.
<Xanatos> <Logan> ...wonder how high up we are?
<Chaintan> <Wolfe> don't be stupid, youre a dumb cat not a monkey Max
<Sara> * Chelsea keeps herself balanced, and peers around slowly
<Seraphna> * Luci peers around confused, then huge Ortora. "How'd you wind up here?"
<ChadWinters`> <SPoC> It appears we are on a tree.
<kalonZombie> <Max> Cats climb trees too, mutt.
<Chaintan> <Wolfe> they also get stuck in them
<kalonZombie> <Max> I've never gotten stuck in a tree.
<Chaintan> <Wolfe> that you'll admit to
<DeathStar> *standing behind them is Fate, on a branch*
<Seraphna> Luci> "So... where are we exactly?"
<ChadWinters`> 6SPoC eyes the two bickering then looks over at Fate, pointing at her
<Seraphna> * Luci blinks and jumps a bit at Fate. "Fate. Hi."
<DeathStar> *Ymir turns around slowly, grabbing an oversizd weapon*
<Chaintan> 6*Wolfe tussles with Max in background
<Xanatos> <Logan> I assume...on the tree Destiny was talking about. 6* He notices Fate and turns around.
<DeathStar> *Thankfully for Ylva, her wounds are healed due to the time stuff*
<Jackieness> <Myria> "Hi, person-I've-nerver-met."
<DeathStar> <Fate> Destiny has kidnapped a few of your friends
<Sathen> *Jelly looks around and shivers* Ugh...no tech...
<DeathStar> *She stans there in the shadows*
<Seraphna> Luci> "Is there any time he's not going to cheat?"
<DeathStar> <Asarar> Friends?
<Nyaomi> <Hope> Wh-Who the heck are you guys?
<Xanatos> 6* Logan glances around.
<Sara> <Chelsea> Kidnapped... *she frowns*
<Nyaomi> <Ylva> ..." She eyes her body being fine, flexing.
<Xanatos> <Logan> I don't see Cypher.
<Seraphna> * Luci blinks, then checks the baby carrier.
<DeathStar> *Fate lifts her hands and shows Kira, Riki, Cypher. Luci's baby*
<kalonZombie> 6*Max blinks, looking over "Nell?!"
<DeathStar> <Fate> They are higher up Yggdrasil*
<Seraphna> Luci> "THAT BASTARD I WILL EAT HIS EYEBALLS."
<Chaintan> <Wolfe> MY WIFE
<ChadWinters`> 6SPoC looks at the others, judging their reactions.
<DeathStar> <Fate> Becareful. *she fades out*
<Nyaomi> <Ylva> What is going on?" She asks Fate, then sighs as she disappears
<DeathStar> <Asarar> ... We're going on
<Sathen> Jelly> That's two nice butt's missing...not nice.
<ChadWinters`> <SPoC> It appears she wants us to rescue them
<Seraphna> Nell> "Double time. That monster has my baby."
<DeathStar> Song 5: Save Our Girls
<Jackieness> <Myria> "But what are we supposed to dooooooo?"
<Nyaomi> <Hope> I don't know who the hell you are or your baby...
<Chaintan> <Wolfe> triple cause they also have my wife
<Nyaomi> * Hope looks around then exasperatedly yells. "WHERE AM I!?"
<ChadWinters`> 6SPoC bounces slightly on the tree branch then starts moving towards the center where it get's thicker.
<DeathStar> *Asarar eyes Hope* then debates tossing her over the branch*
<Chaintan> 6*Wolfe socks Max one more time and starts climbing
<Seraphna> * Nell growls, peering for the way where the branch gets thicker and marches that way towards the trunk.
<kalonZombie> <Max> Whatever comes after triple because they... uh... I just don't like them!
<DeathStar> *Ymir follows them* Climb down if you want*
<Xanatos> <Logan> You're stuck with us for now. 6* He tells Hope and then moves after SPoC.
<Nyaomi> * Hope holds out her hand and forms something resembling a sniper rifle, peering up
<kalonZombie> 6*Max shifts into his tiger form and starts climbing. With claws.
<ChadWinters`> 6SPoC grabs onto some bark, testing it. 1"This should hold us." 6She starts climbing upwards
<Nyaomi> * She kneels and peers down the scope, frowning.
<Sathen> *Jelly shrugs as he follows along, looking around quietly* Though there are a few nice ones here to look at too.
<Seraphna> * Luci nods and forms clawed gauntlets, using them to climb.
<DeathStar> *Ort hurries after them* I'll help
<Seraphna> Luci> "Ort you stay close to me."
<DeathStar> *Ort thumbs up*
<Nyaomi> * Ylva clicks her tongue and tags with Ymir, putting a hand on her shoulder.
<Seraphna> Luci> "Not losing any family to this bastard."
<DeathStar> *Ymir smiles at Ylva as they climb. Asarar peers at Chelsea* We'll get Cypher back*
<Nyaomi> * Ylva holds out her gun and fires one of her antigravity bullets above them. "Going up." She grabs Ymir's waist and leaps up into the pull.
<DeathStar> Song 6: Upper Branches
<Jackieness> <Myria> *activates her virtual console and summons a levitation disc to carry her up*
<Nyaomi> * Hope stows the rifle in subspace then coils and springs up, using dragoon physical abilities paired with training to spring up surfaces
<DeathStar> 6* As they climb higher, they pass bugs carrying what looks like a person, Celt, having been abandoned by the others, likely to where the others are.*
<ChadWinters`> 6SPoC moves up like a normal human being, no special powers or anything
<Sara> * Chelsea follows after the others, hands ready to go for her knives at any moment
<Sathen> *Jelly looks at all of the people with better abilities making it easier*
<DeathStar> *Asarar watches the sight*
<ChadWinters`> 6SPoC peers over. 1"That does not seem normal.
<Xanatos> 6* Logan takes it slow because he is a big man. He pauses at the bugs.
<Seraphna> Luci> "Can we save her?"
<Xanatos> <Logan> We can start shooting them.
<Nyaomi> * Hope descends on the bugs, forming an assault rifle and begins blasting into them with energy/plasma rounds, going for the person
<Xanatos> <Logan> ...like that.
<DeathStar> *the bugs die and drops the person, going down down down*
<Seraphna> Luci> "...Looks like the fluttertwink can actually fight."
<DeathStar> <Asarar> Seems it
<Seraphna> Luci> "Someone grab her!"
<Nyaomi> <Hope> ... That was easy." She dissolves the gun and picks the person up, springing back to the group
<Nyaomi> <Hope> Anyone know this lady?
<Jackieness> <Myria> "UMmm---uhhh..." *tries to TK Cel up*
<DeathStar> *Myira saves Hope and the person since grabbing yanks Hope down*
<Sathen> *Jelly shakes his head* Without tech around to hack all I got is healing and such...
<Seraphna> Luci> "No, but I'm sure she belongs to someone."

<DeathStar> *after climbing a while the team reaching higher and higher up*
<Seraphna> Luci> "Keep going." *she growls again, on momma cat mode*

<kalonZombie> 6*Max climbs right along with Luci, growling
<Nyaomi> * Hope peers at SPoC, shrugging. "Your gear kind of resembles mom's.
<DeathStar> *As they soon get up top, they find their baby makers, tied up and KOed, on a branch that descends far out precariously*
<DeathStar> <Asarr> There.
<Seraphna> Luci> "I can get them."
<Jackieness> <Myria> "There has to be a trap!"
<ChadWinters`> <SPoC> I do not know if that is true or not. 6She pulls herself up eventually and peers at the branch
<DeathStar> *Asarar tentatively approaches. Cypher hangs, a noticeable bulge now. All look 5 months pregnant*
<Seraphna> Luci> "It probably is, so I'll need cover."
<Sathen> *Jelly huffs tiredly* Somebody carry me...I'm not meant for physical labor like that
<kalonZombie> 6*Max looks at Luci, then nods, moving up to her
<DeathStar> *except Riki, she looks 8*

<Nyaomi> <Ylva> Probably Ymir. Then me.

<Nyaomi> * Hope narrows her eyes, quickdrawing a pistol and fires purely at the shadow, aiming to miss the branch
