<DeathStar> 6* The Tarehian children, having been safe at home at one moment, transported to some strange part of a dead world at another, with stormy weather, far from the battle with Destiny, would then soon find themselves on a dessert plane. Rachael coughs, holding a wooden sword, face down.

<Kaelan> * Truth peers about worriedly, but also determined, watching over the children.
<Kaelan> * Kaelan keeps Zegretta close, her own wooden sword at the ready.

<Xanatos> 6* Valen is face down in the sand, wooden sword in his hand. He slowly pushes himself up.

<Kaelan> * Kaelan eeps and helps her up, checking her.

<Kaelan> * Truth holds out her hand to the others and pulses healing energy to give the kids more stamina.
<DeathStar> *the carriage stops. Inside, a merchant with jewelry and gold steps out, eyeing the girls and the boys, to a lesser extent. Then Wyrd and Truth* Are you, um. *he licks his lips* Lost here?
<Jackieness> <Moira> "...and I guess we follow Wyrd again."
<DeathStar> <Wyrd> Yes. We need transportation to the nearest city
<Kaelan> * Truth nods her agreement.
<DeathStar> <Driver> Ah. Yes. I can do that. Yes. *he waves them into the back* Please, come in. *Rachael pulls herself in*
<Kaelan> * Kaelan carries Zegretta in, Lia and Sia rides Tanan in style into the carriage.
<Jackieness> <Moira> "...are you sure about this? This guy is a stranger."

<kalonZombie> 6*Tanan and Ler get on, Ler eyes the refreshments while Tanan politely turns everything down
<DeathStar> *he moves into the back, then brings out a tray with drinks and food, setting it out for them before moving to the front, driving once more. Zegretta grabs the first cup and guzzles it down*

<DeathStar> *Rachael drinks herself, looking burnt*
<Kaelan> * Kaelan drinks but doesn't take any food, watching Zegretta.
<Kaelan> * Truth muses and watches the others kids.

<DeathStar> *The driver sways and moves and the heat continues to bake them. Those who don't drink continue to grow thistier and dehydrated*
<Kaelan> Truth> "You are burned from the sunlight. I will heal you all. I will gather the energy now."
<DeathStar> *Zegretta, Leruste, and Rachael are out like lights*
<Jackieness> <Moira> *lowers voice* "...look...it was poison."
<Kaelan> * Sia and Lia have drunk, and eaten. While Truth has taken light sips to quench thirst but kept to the bare minimum in favor of the kids. "Or they are tired from a long trip."
<Xanatos> <Valen> ....liquid....sleep....6* He goes to drink some but jerks at Moira and throws it.
<Kaelan> * Truth checks their pulses.
<DeathStar> *alive, but in a deep sleep*

<kalonZombie> 6*Tanan tries to fight against the thirstiness

<Kaelan> Truth> "They are sleeping. You all should get rest. If he has tried to knock us out I will deal with him."

<DeathStar> *Wyrd examines* It seems to be almost like a drug you might give a woman when you want to--- *she prepares to explain what a man might give a woman in a club*

<Xanatos> <Valen> DRUGGED!? 6* He snarls and climbs forward to find and punch the man.
<Kaelan> Truth> "Mmm, it is possible he intends to sell us in whatever city we come to." *she says lightly*
<DeathStar> <Wyrd> I imagine all the liquid is drugged for some nefarious purpose. *Valen misses Wyrd's lecture on date rape*

<DeathStar> *the driver howls and the carriage goes bck and forth*

<Kaelan> Truth> "To attack the... driver... one moment." *she heads to the front carefully*

<Kaelan> * Truth hurls a blade to land pointedly in the wood between the two, growling. "Slow the carriage and stand down."

<Kaelan> * Truth tilts her head and sighs, leaping into the seat. "That was not what I wished to do."
<Xanatos> 6* Valen has a few lashing cuts on his body, snarling. He pauses and blinks, standing upright.

<DeathStar> <Wyrd> Sigh. I sure hope he had a map on him. *she says to Moira*

<DeathStar> 6* They arrive in a city called Navarro
<DeathStar> 6* Wyrd hops off while Rachael and Zegretta stretch
<Kaelan> * Truth peers around, frowning and rubbing her head. "How..."
<Kaelan> * Kaelan yawns and stretches too. Lia and Sia are snoozing on Moira's lap.
<DeathStar> 6* Those who are marked would feel a ping from Lorelei but it feels a bit strange. In the city
<Kaelan> Truth> "Does anyone else feel her...? Something seems off..."
<Jackieness> <Moira> "...did you feel that?"
<DeathStar> 6* Also nearby is a lot of strange buildings, the writing off a bit. One building has written on it: Digger Guild
<kalonZombie> 6*Leruste stretches as Tanan looks towards where the ping is
<Kaelan> * Truth peers over the supplies and gold in the cart and starts packing them bags, in case they need them and supplies.
<DeathStar> 6* People who walk by eye their strange clothing, wearing not quite medieval clothing but clothing that fits a world that seems to have been thrown back technology wise, as if in post-apoclaptic

<DeathStar> 6* Emerging from the Monster Guild nearby is an adult version of Valen, along with a man. Valen seems to be talking to him, calling him Dahok

<Kaelan> * Truth frowns a bit more and peers around, then at Valen, having never known the man.

<Kaelan> Truth> "If we follow them, maybe they will lead us to Lore? I think I know why the mark feels off."

<kalonZombie> 6*He then blinks and a slight redness reaches his cheeks before he clears his throat and puts Valen down
<Xanatos> 6* Valen dusts himself off, squinting at the two adults, sliding into a sneaky cat formation.
<DeathStar> *the men seem to be moving off and meeting with an adult Rachael, Kaelan and Zeal, then moving off
<DeathStar> *heading out somewhere*

<Kaelan> Truth> "I have put them in packs." *she hands them out*
<DeathStar> *Rachael eyes Leruste, leering at him a bit*
<Kaelan> Truth> "I think we are, somehow, in our... past... which is in the future."

<Kaelan> Truth> "If that makes sense."

<DeathStar> *Rachael ducks behind Zeal and Aschae*

<Xanatos> <Valen> Why does everyone pretend like they're older than they are!? Girls are gross, fighting is fun, naps are amazing.

<Jackieness> <Moira> *pulls on her pack and carries Lia and Sia*
<Xanatos> 6* Valen stamps his foot, then nods twice to Wyrd
<Kaelan> Kaelan> "Yes, let's follow before we lose them entirely."
<kalonZombie> 6*Tanan eyes Valen at all of that, agreeing with at least one of them, then starts to follow them
<Kaelan> * Truth nods and hands out the remaining packs before heading after them. Being one of the few that's actually adult bodied.
<Jackieness> <Moira> *moves after them*
<DeathStar> *as they walk along, they move along past a group of digger groups. One of the diggers looks a lot like Kaori, yet not quite. There is minor differences. The hair is longer, bigger breasts. The hair color is mix of Lavender and Black.
<DeathStar> *she seems to be debating where this ruin is with her group*
<Kaelan> * Truth blinks a bit, but assuming this is another future-past person she shrugs and moves onward, not wanting to lose their ping on Lorelei.
<Xanatos> <Valen> GOD all these people are boring. I wish I had my datapad.
<Kaelan> Kaelan> "You didn't have yours on you?" *she teases*
<DeathStar> *as they near where the others vanished, they waste time looking when suddenly, there is a sandstorm and power erupts from the ruins. The kids and Wyrd/Truth being thrown back. The massive energy and battle seems horrific. The other digger groups run from the ruins and they would see a man, Harbinger walking towards it. As he walks by, hey would somehow see his face and remember who he is*
<Kaelan> * Truth reacts by pulling the kids away and to safety, deciding they don't want to screw with a god. Kaelan had a bad track record with that.
<Xanatos> 6* Valen jerks back, holding his head, he curls up in a ball, shivering. When harbinger steps by he blinks
<DeathStar> *then Harbinger, the male face gone, stands over them in Kaelan's body, peering at them*
<Kaelan> * Truth looks over them all checking for injuries.
<kalonZombie> 6*Tanan moves to protect some of the younger kids, being about 14 now
<DeathStar> <Harbinger> What is this
<Kaelan> * Truth blinks and peers around. Kaelan blinks in confusion.

<Kaelan> Truth> "...Orphans out for a walk. What is going on? Are there monsters?"
<Jackieness> <Moira> *moves in front of the others*
<DeathStar> <Harbinger> You cannot hide your secrets from me. You are a paradox
<DeathStar> *he grabs Kaelan and Truth*
<kalonZombie> 6*Tanan leaps to try and save them
<Kaelan> Truth> *forms her armor reflexively, Kaelan whimpers*
<DeathStar> <Harbinger> How can this be. *Wyrd grabs Kaelan's side, and Harbinger stumbles*
<Xanatos> <Valen> H-hey! Stop! 6* He leaps forward, biting at Harbinger's leg.
<Kaelan> * Truth forms her blades, kicking him awa.
<kalonZombie> 6*Tanan rushes and starts trying to be a distraction, being annoying

<DeathStar> *this is clearly becoming not their turn fast as adult Dahok, and Jean appears. Jean studies the kids, then sprouting her wings, grabs the kid* You do not belong here. You must go back where you belong children. <Harbinger> They are marked. I will find them again, Angel. I will find you all again. If they can be reborn again, we can too.
<Kaelan> Truth> "And I will be there to slay you, as I was made to do. You should run, false god."
<kalonZombie> <Leruste> If you're born again then we'll just kill ya again!
<Kaelan> * Truth crosses her swords and glares, Kaelan hides.
<DeathStar> *Jean uses the mark Lorelei has been giving them as they glow and the next thing they know, they appear back in the playground they left*
<DeathStar> *Rachael rolls and pants*

<Kaelan> * Truth blinks and peers around, confused. "What..."

<Kaelan> Kaelan> "I felt a mark from him... I remember him using that to try and control me before... after he killed me and brought me back."

<Kaelan> * Truth breathes slowly. Then dismisses her armor and weapons. "We will tell Lore, she will know what to do. Everyone should rest and relax now."

<DeathStar> 6* A few months later after that incident, a month after the construction/repairs on the base. It is not completed with all the floors now finished

<DeathStar> *there is a playground area and everything, as well as a training course that levels up as they get better*
<Xanatos> <Valen> YEAAAAAAH. 6* He runs by them with his wood sword, fighting in the training course.

<Kaelan> * Lia watches cartoons in the lounge, Sia however has snuck upstairs, taking notes in what looks like a coloring book, on Lemon.
<kalonZombie> 6*Leruste hangs upside down on the monkeybars, seeing how long he can do so

<ChadWinters`> 6Durt swings a wooden stick at Valen, having stuck with training the kids

<DeathStar> *Ren peers in at the training course floor, then at Kaori, then goes back to the Strikers floor* Outta here
<Sara> * Sunny beams. Surely someone somewhere is questioning this decision
<Nyaomi> * Mijiyu studies Durt and Valen with her hawk-like eyes. Aschae tries her hand at blatantly destroying their training targets with magic.
<Xanatos> <Kellin> 1 rule. Don't teach them your creepy smiling thing! 6* He tells Sunny, sitting near where she and Lore is.
<Sara> * Kaori blinks and absconds with Ren
<kalonZombie> <Tanan> Woah, swords? Sounds cool.

<ChadWinters`> <Durt> Better. 6He starts pressing slightly harder with his attacks now

<Nyaomi> * Jubei leaps atop Kellin's head, balancing almost weightlessly on one foot, peering at all the others.
<Kaelan> Michelle> "I'll keep them up on archery I suppose."
<Nyaomi> * Zeal peers at Michelle at that, as if challenged.

<Xanatos> <Kellin> W-Why is she aiming at the paperwork? 6* He sways with Jubei on ihis head.

<Kaelan> * Michelle summons her bow and tosses it, catching it and making it vanish again. She nods. "We'll have to keep an eye on them. Some of them are nearly teenagers."
<Xanatos> <Kellin> Oooooookay. 6* He walks over and hits the intercomm button, his voice crackling over the speakers throughout their floor.
<DeathStar> <Lorelei> *she tells everyone* Only a few of you can go, so only those who really want to learn can go

<Nyaomi> * Jubei squeals at the awkward sound and stomps on Kellin's head once out of irritance

<Kaelan> * kaelan clears things up, while Michelle starts gathering large stones and setting them in the circle of the clearing.
<Xanatos> <Kellin> Okay once this is clear we'll split up in groups. We big leaves or branches with lots of leaves on them, sticks and big rocks.

<Kaelan> * Kaelan stick with Zegretta to help. Michelle starts working on their fire pit.

<Xanatos> 6* Kellin, with the help of the other adults, show how to make small raised cots out of sticks, how to use fine to hand up food so thieving critters can't steal it and how to set up covered lean-tos over the cots.

<Xanatos> <Kellin> Now that we have camp we'll need to learn how to hunt. We'll pair off a few kids per adult and then we'll see if we can capture some food. There's all sorts of things out here you can eat, including bugs.

She holds out her hands and calls on the earth, molding it instead of working with it until she has something like a native or a burrowing animal would have and goes inside, an opening in the top made to vent smoke since she starts a fire between her 'den' and the entry to keep animals away/bugs away with the smoke.

<Kaelan> * Kaelan stops when it turns, watching and holding Z's hand. She pauses and tosses her sword at it's back.

<Kaelan> * Kaelan attacks from it's other side with her, stabbing at it's back from there.

<Kaelan> * Michelle blinks as it didn't die, then pulls back another arrow.

<Jackieness> <Moira> *tosses rocks at the boar from the safety of the tree*
<Kaelan> * Kaelan squeaks and dives for her, guarding her. "You okay Z?"
<DeathStar> *it wobbles and peers for the rocks, bleeding heavily*

<Sara> * Sunny suddenly appears behind Kellin. "I set traps!" she cheerfully announces. She seems completely unconcerned about the situation at hand, along with her bright smile.
<Kaelan> * Michelle nods from her perch, keeping it ready. "Tough ass boar though! Maybe I should have used a kinetic arrow."
<Xanatos> 6* Valen pushts himself up and roars, running forward to leap and stab with his wooden sword.
<Xanatos> 6* Kellin jerks and grabs his chest
<Xanatos> <Kellin> SUNNY YOU SCARED THE SHIT OUT OF ME

<Xanatos> <Kellin> ...okay. Okay, she says.

<DeathStar> *somehow, attracted by the smile, it charges Kellin's gut*

<kalonZombie> 6*Tanan moves to the boar, puts a hand on it, closes his eyes, then stays there for a bit, then walks away, going toget his food again
