* ChadWinters` leans back in his chair as he looks over at Cheryl.
<DeathStar> 6* Zephyr paces, eyeing data sheets, with Cran sitting in the office. Cheryl eyes Cran now and again.
<Xan> * Marcus rubs the side of his face, looking a little tired.
<ChadWinters`> 6Dias looms over Marcus.
<Seraphna> * Tabetha, Angelos, Angela, and Si'Chii sit looking over tyhings.
<Jackieness> <Cassandra> "Soooo... Cran... any hidey holes down here that we havne't found yet?"
<ChadWinters`> 6SPoC stands quietly in the back, while Cel sits in a chair

<Xan> * Kane and Kellin are also present, though Kane is eyeing his datapad quietly while Kellin seems to keep glancing towards Zephyr, frowning.

<Jackieness> <Josephine> *walks in with coffee and start pouring for all those who wish to partake*

<Xan> * Marcus eagerly takes some of the coffee.

<ChadWinters`> <Dias> Coffee will stunt your growth.
<Seraphna> Angela> "Yeah, what did you find Alexander?"
<DeathStar> *Cheryl peers at Cran as he moves over to plug the terminal into the system*
<DeathStar> <Cran> I been going over the clone virus that this Venerator Intelligence released, seeing if I could understand why - other than to remove some clones
<DeathStar> <Cran> When we stopped the virus, we mostly put it into a dormant state
<Jackieness> <Josephine> "General Cran, if I pour you this coffeee, will you refrain from having your needlemen abduct me as happened the last time i went to fetch you coffee?"
<Xan> <Marcus> I'm already grown. * He says to Dias *
<DeathStar> *Cran glances at Josephine, an unreadable look flashing on his face briefly* I'm fine
<Jackieness> <Josephine> "Mmmm-hmmm..." *moves on*
<DeathStar> *Cran turns back to the screen and brings up complicated formulas*
<Sara> * Kaori's eyes go crossed
<Seraphna> * Angelos sighs, but doesn't comment.
<ChadWinters`> <Dias> That you have. 6He laughs as he slaps Marcus' back
<DeathStar> <Cran> I believe that Sun VI released the clone virus a few months ago for the Intelligence in the air. Probably when they relesed the nanomachines to help the planet's reality quakes. Meaning the entire planet is filled with the clone virus. The people have breathed it in and even now you all are still passing it on
<DeathStar> <Cran> And then at some point it triggered the clone detoration program
<Xan> * Kane glances up at the formula and studies it carefully.
<ChadWinters`> Effective way to spread a virus.
<Seraphna> Angela> "Hard to remove something that heavily infecting things."
<DeathStar> <Zephyr> Hm, I vaguely recall those nanomachines
<Jackieness> <Cassandra> "Was Sun VI aware of the clone virus mixed in with their reality quake cure?"
<Seraphna> Luci> They temporarily stopped the quakes by attempting to bottle up an explosion instead of evening them out.
<DeathStar> <Zephyr> It messed with the Dragoons and Wepaons, too, didn't it?
<Seraphna> Luci> "Made weapons go bannanas and made us Dragoons bent of stopping them."
<ChadWinters`> I believe so.
<Xan> <Marcus> Yeah, good fight in the desert for us
<Seraphna> Luci> "Which of course, was also bannanas."
<ChadWinters`> <Dias> Hey, we did not go banana's.

<DeathStar> <Cran> You can put a lot into a program if you want, especially for something on the level of the Venerator Intelligence program I am sure
<Xan> <Kane> All things that would distract us while it worked in the background.
<ChadWinters`> <Dias> I was perfectly sane. 6He crosses his arms in defiance

<DeathStar> *Ren sits by Kaori, all cleane up as she listens in*
<Seraphna> Luci> "Truth won't attend the meeting because she's still phobic of you."
<Sara> * Kaori glances over at Ren, acknowledging her presence
<ChadWinters`> It worked. 6He crosses his arms
<DeathStar> <Cran> But the second thing I learned about the clone virus. *Megumi would get a baking ding as as her progrma is done*
<ChadWinters`> <Dias> Not my fault she can't handle losing. Hmpf
<DeathStar> <Cran> There was a second part to the program from what I can tell
<ChadWinters`> Which is?
<Seraphna> Luci> "You... really ought to do something there." *She shrugs and peers at the rest of the meeting*
<DeathStar> *Cran points at the second part of the formula* It's dormant now, but if the V.I program is good, it can reactivate it any time. The first part is to kill the clones - I imagine it was designed to kill me and maybe a few other heavy hitters
<DeathStar> <Cran> The second is to take over the remaining clones
<DeathStar> <Cran> A network of clones the program can use as bodies
<Sara> <Kaori> "Other heavy hitters"?
<DeathStar> <Cran> Even newly born clones because they'll be infected sooner or later
<Jackieness> <Josephine> "What an odd pattern. What if the first part killed all the clones before the second part kicked in?"
* ChadWinters` clicks his tongue. 1"Isn't Megumi working on one?"
<DeathStar> <Cran> The death rate varied it seemed
<DeathStar> <Cran> *to Kaori* Clones like me, Angelos, and so on
<Jackieness> <Josephine> "What variable?"
<Seraphna> Angelos> "Not a fan of this program so far."
<DeathStar> <Cran> That I haven't figured out. But so far me and Angelos were near death. This Tora girl did die. Yet I know a few other clones or clone parts were fine
<DeathStar> <Cran> Or at least not on death's bed
<Xan> <Kellin> So, can we cure it?
<DeathStar> *Cheryl peers at at the logs* It seems so, Chad
<Seraphna> Angela> "Still okay with cutting off my arm and going robot arm."
<DeathStar> <Cran> From what I can tell, the only way to cure it is to destroy the Venerator program
<Sathen> *Damian walks in going over info on a datapad* And that's just the intended portion of the clone-virus...that doesn't even touch on the problem with the actual viral factors that were used as a basis for this thing.
<Jackieness> <Myria> *pops up and measures Angela*
<DeathStar> *Cran sits down*
<Xan> <Kane> Could we...trick the virus. So that if it was activated it would slow it down until we could deal with V.I.? In programming we would get the code caught in a repeating loop.
<ChadWinters`> So anyone that's a clone is a potential threat for the VI Program to take over?
<DeathStar> <Cran> Yes.
<Jackieness> <Cassandra> "That isn't related to Cran, it seems."
<DeathStar> <Cran> *to Kane* I imagine when it is activated
<DeathStar> <Cran> It will be mass activated
<ChadWinters`> Including you?
<DeathStar> <Cran> You will be dealing with hundreds of Veneraors
<DeathStar> <Cran> *pause* Yes.
<Seraphna> Angelos> "So, I'm in favor of smashing it first, worrying later."
<Xan> <Marcus> How many clones do we have on staff? We may need to quarantine them until we get this fixed.
<DeathStar> *Cheryl turns to Kane* I hope your anti-Venerator program is fine. I think we narrowed down where this program ran to. But it's had 12 hours to be getting ab ody
<Seraphna> Luci> Depends on how you define clone.
<DeathStar> <Zephyr> Quaranting them won't do much
<Seraphna> Luci> "Angela for instance has a clone arm, but since Cheryl reincarnated her, she's not actually a clone by nature."
<Xan> <Kane> I'm currently running it through tests to see how it handles. Chad provided an AI of himself to test it on.
<Seraphna> Luci> Meanwhile Angelos is as cloney as a clone gets."
<Sathen> *Damian moves to stand behind Angelos and Cran* I can just load them up on enough drugs to put them into a medical coma for a while.
<ChadWinters`> Best put a kill switch in each clone.
<Seraphna> ANgelos> *huffs*
<DeathStar> <Zephyr> You want to put kill switches in Kane's kids then?
<Xan> * Marcus rolls his eyes at Chad.
<Seraphna> Angela> "That's overkill, maybe some kind of stunner?"
<ChadWinters`> That would more practical.
<Seraphna> Angela> "He's just taking them over, not making them into super monsters."
<DeathStar> <Zephyr> *to Marcus* I imagine even if we seperated them, when they turn into Venerator they could hack their way out, or with their strength, bust out
<DeathStar> *Cran peers up* Actually, you might face that
<Xan> <Marcus> What if we sedated them?
<Jackieness> <Josephine> "What about off-planet?"
<Xan> * Marcus is more asking Cran than Zephyr
<Seraphna> Angela> "Wait... super monsters too?"
<DeathStar> <Cran> The nanomchines would start to do that, yes
<Seraphna> * Angela peers at her arms considering.
<DeathStar> <Cran> We're all flooded with them - you all are fine
<DeathStar> <Cran> But it'll mix with us clones
<Seraphna> Angela> "...Okay, I'm finding out if this is infected or not and possibly cutting it off. Not interested in turning into Angela-Hulk."
<ChadWinters`> So we need a plan for the clones while we deal with the AI. One that doesn't include them joining us.
<Jackieness> <Myria> *pulls out a hacksaw while standing next to Angela*
<DeathStar> <Cheryl> Alright step 1, I'm heading to the location where Venerator might have went
<Seraphna> Angela> "Surgically, Myria."
<DeathStar> *Cheryl rises* If you want to send the clones into space, you can
<DeathStar> *Cran frowns*
<Seraphna> Luci> WE don't know the range of the control either.
<Sara> * Kaori frowns too
<Jackieness> <Cassandra> "Any chance our techies can mke nanomachines to kill the viral nanomachines?"
<DeathStar> *Ren peers at Cran as Cheryl says that*
<Seraphna> Luci> "We can get near real time signals across the galaxy these days."
<Jackieness> <Myria> "I will use this hacksaw surgically."
<DeathStar> <Cran> Probably. But it'll take time
<Xan> <Kane> We could, Casssandra, but we do not have time.
<DeathStar> <Cran> Which I can't do in space
<Xan> <Marcus> Could we induce a coma, would that protect them from the virus taking over?
<DeathStar> *Cheryl and Zephyr move off. Ren glances at Kaori*
<Seraphna> * Jennifer peeks in. "If Cran hulks out we can always make him sleep."
<DeathStar> <Cran> No. The body would just transform in the coma. And wkae
<Seraphna> * Angela pats Myria then follows Cheryl.
<Xan> * Kellin hops up and moves after Cheryl and Zephyr.
* ChadWinters` stands up moving after Cheryl and Zephyr, Cel moving with
<Jackieness> <Josephine> "Then just the non-essnetial clones. The smaller number of people to watch, the easier it would be to manage an ensuing crisis."
<Seraphna> Jennifer> *pulls out a giant wrench* I call it Mr. Naptime.
<ChadWinters`> <Dias> I can stay and watch whatever clones are here. 6he cracks his knuckles. 1"That way if they go bad I can punch them in their faces.
<DeathStar> <Cran> You could try freezing though
<DeathStar> *he muses*
<Sathen> Damian> It might wake, but it would be pumped so full of paralytics that it would be impossible to move more than their eyelids.
<Seraphna> Jennifer> "...I'll get the cryo chambers ready."
<Seraphna> * Jennifer slowly puts the wrench away. "Meanwhile let's work on those nanites."
<DeathStar> <Cran> That should make the nanomachines unable to receive the signal, or at the least, unable to transform
<Jackieness> <Josephine> "Unles the virus reconfigures thenervous system to be immune to the paralytics."
<Xan> <Marcus> IF you want to remain awake Cran and work on a counter, that's fine but we'll post guards for when you turn.
<DeathStar> <Cran> It is possible
<Jackieness> <Myria> "Alright, real science!" *scurries to the lab*
<Seraphna> Tabetha> "I will help Cran. Nanites are just small robots. I'm good at robots."
<Seraphna> * Tabetha waves Cran to follow her and Myria into the den of madness. That's what they named the lab now.
<Seraphna> * Lisa heads after Cheryl and Zephyr.
<Xan> * Kane glances at his datapad and moves off, sending the results of the AI virus tests to Cheryl and then moves to his lab to make a few adjustments.
<DeathStar> *Cran moves into the lab. Cheryl gets into the shuttle
<Seraphna> * Angela and Lisa board. Si bounces aboard.
<ChadWinters`> <Dias> Off to protect the VP! 6He bounces off
<Jackieness> <Cassandra> *moves after Cheryl and on to the shuttle*
<Xan> * Marcus sends out the call to any that are clones to warn inform of the upcoming cryo. Also sending the call out to Erevis and Nue households.
<Sathen> *Damian shakes his head and heads back to medical, muttering* just hope the base virus's mutability wasn't included in this AI version.
<DeathStar> *unless Marcus has gotten Angelos, only he has shown up*
<Xan> * Kellin plops down in the shuttle, looking a bit more sullen than normal.
<Seraphna> * Angelos did not join the mission, since he's the most likely to hulk out. So sure!
<DeathStar> *Marcus is the only one to show up to be frozen.*
<DeathStar> *er Angelos*
<Xan> * Marcus glances around with a frown.
<Seraphna> Angelos> "Seems you're gonna have to ask people nicer?"
<Jackieness> <Josephine> *goes into the command center tyo keep watch while the team is in the field*
<Xan> <Marcus> ....
<DeathStar> *meanwhile, Wade and Adeline escape outside, Adeline having spied on the team on the part of bombs inside their heads*
<DeathStar> <Adeline> Come on, Wade. *she drags Wade off, evading the parimeters like a genius, holding her chest dun dun dun*
<Seraphna> Angelos> "Surprised Kane didn't bring his kids at least... isn't Lemon technically part clone too?"
<Xan> <Marcus> Goddamnit. * He calls Lemon to ask why her and the kids aren't coming.
<DeathStar> <Vodka> Lemon is not being clone, do not worry
<Jackieness> <Josephine> "Hmmmm... someone accessed one of the surface hatches." *looks at the screen and then calls it down to anyone else remaining in the base*
<Seraphna> Angelos> Oh good. Her food is too good to be corrupted by Vennie."
<DeathStar> <Lemon> Kids? I do not know
<Seraphna> Angelos> "Is Kane anywhere near as paranoid as Chad? If so have him check their tracking devices." *grins*
<Seraphna> Angelos> "For that matter, where's Chadwick? He's like, superclone."
<Jackieness> <Josephine> *runs a check for the locations of all personnel*
<Xan> <Marcus> It's pretty serious Lemon, can you get them here? * He sends Kane a message as well.
<DeathStar> *Lemon sends a message the kids are not in their normal locations*
<Sathen> *Rea is suddenly standing behind Josephine* Something wrong?
<DeathStar> *Cheryl's team flies toward Mega city, oblivious*
<Jackieness> <Josephine> "We had an unauthorized departure during the briefing."
<Seraphna> Lisa> "Well, this should be interesting."
<Xan> * Kane glances up from his terminal to see his datapad notification light flashing and checks, then his jaw clenches and he begins to check camera feeds.
<DeathStar> *Kane would find little signs of the two outside when Adeline grabbed Wade from the play room and dragged him out the front door; from there, nothing*
<DeathStar> *it seems Adeline heard something she did not like*
<Sathen> *Rea nods and reaches to check on his blaster at this side before pulling up a comm headset* Where was the departure from?
<DeathStar> *Ren hangs out with Cran, helping him by grabbing stuff*
<Xan> * Kane rubs the bridge of his nose then jumps up quickly and runs out to pursue. Along the way he lets Marcus and Lemon knows, with Marcus sighing and asking Josephine to coordinate with whoever is left to work with Kane.
<Sara> * Kaori helps out Cran and Ren
<Seraphna> * Tabetha and Jennifer help work on Nanites.
<DeathStar> <Cran> *to Kaori*How are you two holding up?
<DeathStar> <Ren> Fine
<Sara> <Kaori> I am hanging on
<Xan> <Marcus> Alright Angelos, let's put you on ice so I can go chase some kids.
<DeathStar> *she smiles at Cran, who is technically her great-grandfather
<Jackieness> <Josephine> "Front door, of all places."
<Sathen> *Rea heads out that way* On channel three, I'll be there shortly.
<Seraphna> Angelos> "I feel like I'm being pranked here."
<DeathStar> *Lemon goes to follow them, putting down her apron and entering serious mom. She tells Jenny to wait*
<Jackieness> <Josephine> "I'll be mission control here."
<DeathStar> -SCNE SHIFT-
<DeathStar> Location: Shuttle, Mega City
<DeathStar> 6* Cheryl flies the shuttle around, scanning and landing near the docks where a large power source was detected 2 hours ago, that drained the power in the area
<DeathStar> <Cheryl> This might be a hit
<Jackieness> <Cassandra> "Looks like he needed a recharge."
<DeathStar> *Zephyr steps out, checking her gun*
<DeathStar> <Zephyr> That or needed to make a body
<Xan> * Kellin adjusts his coat, forming two pistols and steps down after Zephyr
<ChadWinters`> Probably the body. 6He taps the back of his neck and a mask forms over his face as he stands up and moves after Kellin
<DeathStar> *Ako adjusts her hair, having it down long instead of punk style. Having jumped on at the last minute to help Kellin*
<ChadWinters`> 6Cel moves down ,peering around the area
<Seraphna> * Luci peers around, hands to her sides. Angela has belted a beam saber to her arsenal but walks out in her Dragoon Armor. Si wears a very form fitting tactical suit, a bit like a speed biker outfit.
<Jackieness> <Cassandra> "I'll take the high ground." *moves out and then tries to get to a high vantage point*
<DeathStar> 6* The docks look run down and empty, even in worse shape than the TAW4 days when the docks used to at least have some open warehouses. Now the entire docks are abandoned with no incoming ships and most of the warehouses are rented out to businesses, typically shady*
<DeathStar> <Cheryl> .... *she moves and checks the warehouse doors, breaking and peering in, coughing at the dust coming out, then moving on*
<Xan> <Kellin> How far away was the surge?
<DeathStar> <Cheryl> Hard to tell. Could be right here, or further along the docks
<Seraphna> * Angela sticks with Cheryl while Luci keeps an eye out for trouble.
<DeathStar> <Cheryl> Anyone got a scanner to see if there's trace residues?
* ChadWinters` steps in after Cheryl, peering around as he pulls out his datapad and scans the area
<Seraphna> * Angela pulls hers out and does some scans.
<DeathStar> *she breaks open another warehouse door, peering in*
<DeathStar> *Ako sniffs the air*
<Xan> * Kellin nods, understanding now and moves further away
<DeathStar> *Chad would get a slight power residue near a large warehouse with what looks to be a closed down warehouse for machinarry*
<Jackieness> <Cassandra> *pulls out her rail gun, setting up an impromptu sniper nest; she then uses the scope to visually scan the area for oddities*
<ChadWinters`> Cheryl. 6He nods to her then points at the warehouse
<DeathStar> *Cheryl pauses and moves toward it, pausing and breaks open the lock, pulling it back. Dust floods out*
<DeathStar> <Cheryl> *peers in and a glowing light emits*
<Seraphna> ANgela> "Hrm..."
* ChadWinters` unholsters his gun as he aims it inside.
<Xan> * Kellin pauses at the sight of the glowing light and double backs to the group, moving to flank around the building and find another entrance.
<Seraphna> * Luci holds out her hands and throws up a shield in front of those at the door, a one way, meaning they can fire through it but incoming attacks get blocked.
<ChadWinters`> 6Cel moves the opposite way Kellin did around the building
<DeathStar> *Kellin would find a small side entrance compared to the larger entrance for moving stuff in*
<DeathStar> *Cheryl walks in and sees what looks like large mechs all messed up, as if it was crunched up, or pieces removed. It's littered all over, pieces ripped out here and there*
<Xan> * Kellin checks for a lock, but would otherwise enter as quietly as possible, pistols raised.
* ChadWinters` glances over at the large mechs as he moves inside.
<Seraphna> * Angela peers around at the mechs, thinking they may have been gutted to make a single one of them work. Peering to see if she's right.
<Jackieness> <Cassandra> *comm* "No movement outside. Whatever it is, its in there with you."
<DeathStar> *the mechs seem to be older models, their firepower weaker, but their armor is actually stronger than current ones. That makes them slower in some in some situations where resistance might affect the armor, so the armor today allows Gears and Mechs to be useful on planets and space*
<DeathStar> *so far though nothing has been combined into one. they would see an office, where there is movement*
* ChadWinters` aims his gun towards the office now as he starts moving towards it.
<Seraphna> Angela> "Maybe I should have brought Montana with us..."
<DeathStar> *Ako leaps up onto the top of the small office, trying to peer into a small window. Cheryl and Zephyr move for the stairs and the door*
<Seraphna> * Si peers about and lets her mini "beta" roll around scanning things, peering around, while Luci steps in and starts having the perimeter secured.
<Seraphna> *Lisa, damnit
<DeathStar> (Lol)
<DeathStar> (Si now)
<Seraphna> (Nah that one is right)
<Jackieness> <Cassandra> *keeps her rail gun trained on the warhouse, ready to snipe any giant roge mecha that might attack*
* ChadWinters` glances up at Ako as he moves up the stairs with Cheryl and Zephyr
<DeathStar> *Lisa would find hidden work place underneath the area with her scan, while Cheryl busts the door open and Zephyr aims at Kellin
<DeathStar> <Zephyr> ON THE GROUND
<DeathStar> <Zephyr> *aims her gun at his face*
<Xan> * Kellin blinks and holds his hands and guns up.
<Xan> <Kellin> Friendly!
<Seraphna> Si> "Hey! SOmething here." *she moves to point out the work place*
<DeathStar> *Zephyr pauses and lowers it*
* ChadWinters` clicks his tongue before looking dow at Si.
<Seraphna> Si> "Something's down below."
<DeathStar> *Cheryl moves down and Zephyr pats Kellin*
<DeathStar> *they would all find something glowing down below and energy readings behind this door*
<DeathStar> <Ako> Door #2?
<Xan> <Kellin> Y'almost shot me. * He says, fairly jovial as he moves to catch up with the others.
* ChadWinters` moves down after Cheryl and looks at the door, then his datapad as he scans the energy signature
<DeathStar> *Zephyr holds up fingers - 3*
<DeathStar> *there's definitely something on the other side, but the readings keep changing*
