Cassandra Arakawa was an officer in the EarthGov military, coming from a family that was reasonablely wealthy and estabished in Tokyo in the State of Japan. Having quickly been introduced to war in the form of the Ridiarium War, Cassandra was an excellent soldier that led men into combat, but one mission went wrong and her team was hit hard. Everyone in her unit was wiped out and Cassandra's body was damaged beyond the point that the medical department could heal her. So they subjected her to an experimental program that was in place due to the power of the Ridiariums - they put her brain into a cyborg body that looked and felt like her old one, though one that could constantly be augumented and upgradted. Stronger, faster, and better endowed in the chest, Cassandra was reborn.

After the war was over, Cassandra was considered property of the EarthGov Military and was moved from assignment to assignment until PAX was experiencing some troubles; Cassandra was reassigned under Warren Carmichael in security, and from there began to climb the ladder with his aid, eventually reaching the rank of General and running her own security operations. After PAX was over, Darien Starr picked her up for his unit's spy ops, and there she met Setsuna. As the Dark War began, the two began a relationship, and eventually Setsuna took in a Dark One "child" named Billy, and the two raised her.

After Setsuna's death and the close of the Dark War, Cassandra has been struggling to raise Billy while engaging in battles against enemies that her government and friends assign her to fight. At some point, Cassandra was destroyed and Billy became uncontrollable throughout the war. However, the multiverse went into effect after being destroyed during The Alien Wars 4. As the events of The Alien Wars 5 came into effect, Cassandra was fixed, an alternate Setsuna came who followed the same path as Cassandra's Setsuna, and the two got together. And two Billys came to live with them, one from the future, and the current Billy. Both married the same Elwyn.
