Katrina McCormick was found on the ruined Earth after Xevil burned the entire planet during The Galactic Conflict. Only around 4 years old, she was taken in by Ariel and Death Star, shortly before Death Star was teleported into space and replaced by the Progenitor Wind, who became her real father over the years. Raised by the Wraiths and Hunters over the many decades, she played a prominent role in the war against the Motenks, providing scientific aid as well as battle techniques on the field. Retaining her innocence throughout the war, many people were drawn to her, like Junior Hianule and Colephantus. However, in the end, Junior was killed and his body used by Garland, and Colephantus was turned down by Katrina. Even after Junior was saved and Colephantus moved on, the two decided not to date, which Junior took rather bad and became angry and bitter toward Katrina - but not before one final act. When Death Star returned and began the final Maverick War, in order to gain Reploids rights that humans had by united the whole world - human and reploid alike - against him so they had a common enemy, he also had a young reploid named Blue with him that was full of hate towards humans. Colephantus fell in love with young Blue and after Katrina saved Colephantus from the Maverick Virus, later on when trying to talk Blue down, not wanting to hurt her friend's lover, Blue stabbed her and left her for dead. Despite this, Colephantus continued to have feelings for Blue and stood against Junior when he came to claim Blue's life. Katrina managed to pull through and left Earth in search of science and to put things behind her. However, after Wind altered the course of events - where originally Katrina died without ever marrying anyone - Katrina returned to Earth to deal wit hthe fallout of everyone being alive again, including their enemies. Once back on Earth, it felt like stepping back into old shoes, but also painful ones. Having discovered John was her brother long ago, she had to watch his daughter die, and his two wives, and others they love and care about fall. Even meeting old friends like Seraphna and Colephantus hasn't eased her pain, so she has taken steps to join her father, Wind, in freeing Earth from evil once more by working for both the Hunters and the Special Unit. HAving a bumpy start, with Erevis, a progenitor like Wind, thinking she was Katrina for a bit and impersonating her, and being brainwashed temporarily by the 5th Column after being captured, Katrina is struggling to put her life together. |
