Background

Created during the time period prior to 'Children of Light,' was an experimental reploid containing the prototype for a new device that could dissapate and convert energy from one source to another type effortlessly. The designers of this device had intended it for a myriad of practical applications ranging from weapon disassembly, hazardous material removal, overseeing of radioactivity, and even a measure for humans and reploids alike to better protect themselves in combative situations with other reploids or those wielding energy weaponry or other eccentric powers.

Their controversial decision to place their prototype within a reploid was not met without animosity, yet the two had decided it best and proceeded even without support of their colleagues, creating Null. Null was given a painfully honest personality and programmed to be nothing short of a gentle 'daughter' to the two without any kin of their own. Over the course of a few months, she would be activated for brief periods of time to experience simple niceities with them before being brought to sleep again, undergoing diagnostics constantly on both her persona and the integrated device.

What the married researchers couldn't have foreseen was that their humble facilities within their own home in an outlying town would be caught up in ground zero for a mexican standoff between humans and two opposing idealed groups of reploids. Caught in the crossfire, the two survived long enough to reactivate Null, giving her a chance to escape in confusion.

Without much in the way of knowledge to society outside the household or a place to go, she was found and taken in as a refugee with short, specific 'amnesia.' It was quickly discovered that she was a reploid of seemingly average aptitude and only household knowledge, and was put to work by the refugee supportists themselves helping rebuild homes and caretake.

Catching a glimpse of reports and news on the ensuic climax to the conflict triggered a stirring in Null, causing her to respectfully leave the work she was doing and attempt to seek out the group led by Wiendigo, one that appears to her, sympathetic to both sides. Just like her 'parents.' Only-- The war then ends.

Once changed, things rarely stay the same. Although disheartened at a chance to take what she doesn't even realize is the pang of vengeance, she spends time familiarizing herself with her talents, only to find some of the members she was seeking at the World Tournament. Admiration, perhaps, spurns a desire to better herself, and with the creation of a new Hunter station, she attempts to enlist, hoping she can fulfill the function and desires she was created with.
