Session 367: Training Mission in Realities

At Tess' inauguration, Angela finishes her introduction speech before giving the floor to Tess, who vows to reform the government, make the colonies states and get the economy back in order. A noticable number of senators do not stand in praise, but she gets plenty of applause. Isis is watched by some inquisitorial members as she leaves, perhaps believing she will lead them to Cheryl. The speech goes without a hitch, no assassinations, the groups all head their seperate ways.

On Cheryl's Asteroid Base, Isis is given a birthday party which many attend from the various groups, and Ariel shows up, delivering spankings of justice to the perverted masses. Angelos hides in terror, Cheryl gets to drinking.

On the 20th, Cheryl sends a group of her Reality Strikers on a mission, Cameron volunteers to lead and the group is sent outside the Trinity, here they find a world filled with zombies. Fighting their way through to the Executive building, they learn that in this reality, Angela and Mi'Na went evil and tried to gain immortality with a strange chemical virus. Mi'Na backstabbed Angela when they learned only one could be immortal, and she became a Vampire Queen, converting females among the groups as the world fell into chaos.

On the Presidental Floor, the group meets an alternative Del who has become a half zombie warrior. Agreeing to help them if they kill Mi'Na, and informing them that their humans are infected, the group heads out to Mi'Na's stronghold. Here Blade Del gives himself up to the vampires allowing the team to slip through. Facing Evil Mi'Na, the group throws all sorts of powers at her, Cameron overdoing it and destroying her body with a fire spell, a bad thing as they needed her body for the cure. However, killing Mi'Na restores the other Vampires to normal, and Airym is able to synthesize a cure. She sends it out to the Empire in space above and cures the team before they return to report their mission survival.

Cheryl listens and agrees on the notion of not telling anyone about the evil alternate Angela and Mi'Na, probably to protect Angela's psyche with the recent memory restorations. At the mansion, Taiga offers Del a Blade outfit while Angela and Mi'Na turn down some wacky scientist offering a chemical for immortality.

Humorously, it seems somehow in this reality their life spans are already expected for so long they have zero interest, that or Mi'Na is just a good girl. (Debate is possible here.)

The team has completed a training mission, and soon they will be deployed to the other two Trinity Realities, where they must start help bringing order, and shore up their ranks with the denizens of the Classic and Alternate realities.

Session 368: The Birthing Solution in Centerpoint

After the adventures of the Del Blade Universe, Cheryl gathers the Nues as well as the team from before. Cheryl needing Miyuki to be done with her pregnancy takes the group to Center Point, where time runs differently and will not impact their time-line. Once there they reunite with Jamie Zhenmei, the current caretaker of Centerpoint, and adorable little boy who welcomes them happily.

Chieko, Sarah, and Chii all make friends with the critters that keep Jamie company, a spirit type known as green men. They are currently in their juvenile stage and help to spread flowers and growth, clearly benevolent and friendly to all. Meanwhile Airym and Gor learn a bit more about Centerpoint's crystals and the ancient coding that governs it after one tries to override Airym's programming with ancient Progenitor programming; during this Eluere helps Darien hack the elevator and they go down to the 'Reality Initiation Platform' where Darien reflects on the past.

Nothing seems to go quite to schedule as Isis is the first to give birth a few weeks early, bringing in to the world another set of twins; Horus a boy who bares a striking resemblance to Miyuki and Shion, a little girl more like Isis.

Miyuki's time comes on schedule, however due to unforseen complications, the litter Miyuki would have delivered arrive still born, save for one, a little boy she nakes Konekomaru, due to his more catlike features. With the births abound, we learn Zephyr has been attempting as well and managed to get fertile thanks to Cheryl, and become pregnant.

Cheryl chooses for them to stay a little longer due to the tragedy for one more month, before they finally return to Prime. Before leaving Airym sets up security measures to better secure Centerpoint, the group agreeing to regroup in a few days, however Cheryl tells Miyuki she can talk to her; Miyuki agrees but puts on a distant cold front, the death of her litter still something she doesnt seem too willing to get into even with someone as close as Cheryl.

When they return, only one day has passed.

Session 369: Dust in the Wind Prologue: Lonely Wind

Dust in the Wind is an epic crossover between Prime/Alternate/Classic starring the groups of the Reality Strikers, the Hunters, and the Oracle's rebels. It wraps up and ends the RPGs of Alternate and Classic and begins the RPG of the Reality Strikers to take their place. To read the summaries of the cross, please click the link below this paragraph.

Session 370: Gang Wars - Earth

1.24

President Tess Arakawa sits the team down to inform them that in exchange for the power she needed to help the colonies, the Inquisitors are getting more power, part of the power included disclosing the team and their base, putting them on review in a sense.

1.25

Cheryl responds to reports on this by sending her people to cover up the Mansion location and access to the teleporters, as well as make her monitoring of the base untraceable.

1.26 - 1.29

As this happens, Peter also makes sure tracks are covered, so that when the Inquisitor arrives, both groups seem secure. During all this, John is offered the position of leader for a new non-military police force on Earth, called the Special Unit, that will focus on local issues, leaving the military to deal with bigger problems. Peter agrees to letting him go, and it seems Tabetha may follow him after a time. The Inquisitor, who goes by Bobby, seems quite jovial when he arrives and Peter welcomes him, giving him all the access he asks for.

2.4

While he begins his review of the team's finances, which are now also under Isara's watchful eye, he begins to have questions, namely about the school, which Peter deters by agreeing to see that the Empire helps pay for. Reviewing Tabetha's inventing, he urges that Tabetha build something that can solve a conflict or government problem has her next project, he also indicates a power blip on the records that isn't pointed towards anything, though Peter knows it points towards Cheryl's Mansion.

He's saved from having to explain however, as bringing up the Gang War situation going on across the UK. The senate looks to be urging an unprepared Special Unit to handle the situation, and Bobby suggest joint cooperation as the team really wants to help. Peter moves out his people to Rome, where John's unit is setting up in what once was the Vatican. Peter presents Tabetha as a liason for John's team after meeting his people and offers to lend resources while John is preparing.

2.5

This leads Peter to leading a group to Ireland, where they try and track down the source of the conflict between Irish Mobsters from Dublin I and II both in conflict. Following old contacts, in the form of a cocaine addict named Miles, the team learns of a tall man with a certain aura about him, not British or Irish. Also gaining info of a mob group meeting, the team is able to tail a those mobsters to a fight location, joined by John and the rest of his people. Together they move in after the fighting already has started and ensure that neither side walks off, capturing a small number of the survivors for arrests and questioning.

Learning the name Mr. Kline, and gaining the suspiciously advanced weapons of the mobsters, they are able to trace the weapons to a colony. Since John does not yet have shuttle access, he gets a request started to send Peter's team out there to investigate.

Date: 10-608.2.9 - 2.10

Session 371: Gang Wars - Space Colony Pegasus

The group arrives on Pegasus to investigate Wing Inc., the weapons manufacturer that the serial numbers on the stolen weapons lead to. They try to get in through normal means, but it's a 48 hour wait time... which everyone notices that gives them enough time to purge any evidence of wrongdoing from their facility. However, between Del and Lorelei, they come up with a better plan: Del is an interested buyer in their product looking to make a huge investment for their unit.

A rather long and fruitless tour later, they spot a suspicious restricted door, and they make plans to come back later in the night to see what's going on behind it. After dinner with Toto, their tour guide and the Wing Inc. representative selling the weapons to them, at a bar, where they drink sake and make deals, they return to the hotel.

Later that night, they ripple back into the facility and manage to put the camera on a loop to make sure it looks like nothing is wrong. Making sure the guard stays in dreamland, they head into the restricted door and avoid the other guards. Lorelei manages to match the serial numbers to a box that's there... and full. Suddenly, they're caught in the middle of a raid... from two other factions. Yakuza and Triad members both raid the facility.

The Yakuza end up stealing some guns and running. The group follows them and another gang fight ensues in a residentual area. However, this time, our heroes manage to snag the stolen gun and get the hell out of dodge. Josephine also learns about the name "Kline", which they decide to look into as well. However, the fighting caused between the two gangs causes a fire to break out and many deaths, and only Isara - who shouldn't have been there in a fighting capacity - stayed behind to try to put it out. While there, Lorelei notices the stolen gun had the same serial number as the weapons used in Dublin. Had the group not intervened tonight, it would have been a good cover attempt.

It also appears that the gun was manufactured on Mars instead of Pegasus. However, just as they're starting to make headway, the Inquisitors want them back on Earth. Bobby McKennan is trying to hold them off from making serious charges stick, but the group has to head back. Del is left behind to make the deal and gather whatever information he can.

Date: 10-608.2.14

Session 372: Gang Wars - Mars

Hi'Saa and Isis call the family together to discuss how they are going to keep watch of the little ones while Miyuki and Isis away. While the initial plan is to have James Aduxley come over to help watch the kids, Suzu manages to dodge that bullet by calling their grandparents on Hi'Saa's side over.

Bobby McKennan, meanwhile, arrives and tells Peter the bad and good news: The bad being the group has to face the Inquiry Board in Tokyo due to their actions on Pegasus. The good news is that between the illegal guns being there and Isara, they might get off lighter than they would have. The group that went to the mission head to face the board, a hardass woman named Kerry Fisher grills Peter on their actions there. She asks him why they ran away, leaving innocents to be hurt, and why Isara, a government official and not a member of the military was even there. Despite the hard questions, Peter handled her very well, and instead of punishing them as hard as she normally would have, she instead re-purposes their unit into a First Action Response Team... for now. Their first task as the FART is to head to Mars to see if they can get to the bottom of this.

The team arrives at Mars and gets a cab. However due to a blunder on Ash's part, they end up making two trips and wasting a bit of time. They arrive at the facility however, and are greeted by three large men that could all fit Mr. Kline's description. However he refuses to let them in unless they get a warrant first. Unable to go further without risking incident and bringing up more charges for the Inquiry Board, they head to a restaurant to regroup and re-plan. While there, a Waitress shows Peter and a few others some information that John managed to scrounge up.

After hours of going through it, they discover that it's not Mr. Kline they're looking for, but for one of his security officers, who has been doing illegal transactions in Kline's name. With Kumiko's help they track where the cars are headed and plan their attack. As they follow, however, Peter's signal goes dead. With the Arez attacking, it's a huge cluster, but eventually the FART find the secret basement of the facility where John and his team are held up. Between the FART and the SU, they manage to capture fake Mr. Kline and arrest him, hopefully putting an end to all this. However, one of John's members was killed and chopped into little pieces, and it is impossible to say how this was affect things going ahead.

Date: 10-608.1.27 - 2.8

Session 373: The Collapse of the Tsivrixsh Empire Part I

10-608.1.27
PAX
Our story opens with Erevis contemplating the new charter for the PAX she plans to re-emerge into history, this time with an empress clause still emergent in order to retain the ability to re-rail it onto the 'right track' should it deviate and the ability to remain under the empress' direct supervision should they not approve of the new democratic model.

10-608.1.28
The next day, Erevis presents it to the entireity of the Suisen Empire, shocking the masses in the presence of her god pantheon family and children.

10-608.2.1
Under the clamour of the new charter, Athena brings news that Shretrav has been missing on the Tsivrixsh homeworld since a civil war has broken out between the Emperor Kyun and the Council of Thirteen.

Despite suspicions of helping Kyun, no evidence could ever be pinned that he was anything other than supportive of the empress and therefore, a covert operation of semi-affiliated members so that the Suisen could not be directly blamed is dispatched in order to seek out the truth and assist if necessary.

10-608.2.2
A team under Iceheart's guidance and transport descends through space toward the Tsivrisxh galaxy, containing Sammael, Yasha, Justice, Rin, Iceheart's younger daughter El, Typhoon and oddly enough James.

They are soon intercepted by a battlecruiser demanding either their union with the council against Kyun or their destruction, cementing the idea that a civil war is in place. Using Yasha as their 'female Tsivrixsh' they are taken into custody as 'spoils' that she collected.

The revelation that the Tsivrixsh will soon get their hands upon light engine technology from Iceheart's ship is discussed and the decision is ultimately left upon Sammael to detonate the ship and destroy all traces while they are taken to Tsiv'Ra, the Tsivrixsh homeworld.

10-608.2.4
PAX
Footage of the shuttle imploding and taking out Tsivrixsh is used as propaganda by the Council of Thirteen, stating the Suisen Empire is taking sides in the civil war and using their people to target key individuals.

Amaterasu and Erevis discuss and decide that the best course of action is to label the shuttle crew 'renegades' and arrive with the PAX itself to 'observe.'

10-608.2.8
Tsiv'Ra Space
The arrival of the PAX in the Tsivrixsh homeworld region reveals the Tsivrixsh armade sided with the Council standing in ready. Words exchanged give the bereft warning that the PAX will defend itself should they take bold action.

A transmission from the world reveals Emperor Kyun, pleading for assistance after his long patronage in the Suisen Empire's alliance, insisting without their help, the Tsivrixsh's proper empire will soon fall.

Date: 10-608.1.27

Session 374: The Collapse of the Tsivrixsh Empire Part II

10-608.2.2
On Tsiv'Ra, the group appear on a teleporter, greeted by warriors. They inspect Yasha and the others, Yasha claiming that the others are her servants. However, El plays up the part of a beat subservient pet, which makes the warriors suspicious of Yasha. With some smooth damage control, however, Yasha manages to score them all Council Pins and entry into the city. However, their next challenge is at the exit: a scanner, which would tag Yasha as a Erusian, not a Tsiv.

However, a small Tsiv male who is a bookkeeper suddenly finds himself the center of attention as a few of the Gitari, Yasha, and Typhoon start making advances on him, giving Iceheart the necessary distraction needed to shut the terminals down. While the bookkeeper rejects all of the females (and one male) due to the proper rituals not being performed, it's clear he feels a bond for the group, as after they get out and get a shuttle, he's looking longingly out at them.

The group takes the shuttle to Shretrav's estate. The trip takes longer than usual due to both sides being hostile, causing Iceheart to have to fly low. Seven hours later, however, they reach the estate, it's dark, but the Gitari and Sammael see a figure moving in it. Yasha enters and is greeted by Shretrav's younger sister, Trevtrav. Yasha explains the situation to her and Trevtrav explains what's been going on. The Tsiv are on the brink of a civil war. Shre believed that Emperor Kyun was involved with Tamara's kidnapping years ago and decided to investigate.

She decided to get to the bottom of his corruption, and found out he was charged for pulling away from the battle during the major battle with the Others as a crime from the Council's office. The council says that the Emperor is unfit to rule, trying to change the entire Tsiv way of life, changing enduring customs and rituals, and also claiming he's building a super weapon to take over the galaxy. No proof has been given yet, however, so their claims are dubious and unsupported at best. Yasha suggests that perhaps Shrev has found that a third party is involved, and either way Trev wants to find out, showing them a secret passage that leads to the capital.

10-608.2.8
Meanwhile at the Suisen Empire, Emperor Kyun talks to the leaders on a broadcast, fearing that the Tsiv Empire is about to enter a full-fledged civil war. He believes the Council is corrupt and that the 13th member, Po'uvn, is seeking his power. He agrees to send a list of the charges that the Council has made against him, and Leyaeh agrees with Kyun, oddly enough. The charges seem to be all over the place, including charges for both helping and hurting the Suisen Empire. The Council is trying to strong-arm the Suisen Empire into helping them, but Erevis remains steadfast in her neutral position. She does, however, plan a jump to Tsiv'Ra.

10-608.2.9
After palling around in the tunnels for six days, Trevtrav finally gets the planetside group closer to the capital. Trev confirms that there is indeed a third group involved in this ever-escalating cold war, but her people can't find out much about them aside from that they are shadowy figures committed to neither group. She has learned that a woman with Shrevtrav's description has been seen in Kyun's faction, so that's where they are going.

Trev leads them up several floors, and they can see that tensions are high. Shouting, demands, it seems like everything is going to go to hell any second. Near the top, however, they find Shrevtrav and Kyun. Kyun explains the situation to them, when suddenly a blast is heard. Civil war has begun, but it's impossible to tell who fired the first shot. Shrev explains that Kyun came out of nowhere with a falsified history, killing to climb up council ranks, then did a 180 when he got the power.

Meanwhile, in space, the PAX sits above the planet, when suddenly ships start firing on one another. Erevis decides to help ships in need of aid, but another ship will have none of it, preparing to fire on the PAX. Erevis calls a council member and tells them that if they do so they are declaring war on the Suisen Empire. After a bit of stubbornness from the council member, the ship pulls away, and Erevis lends aid to both sides as the battle continues.

Almost as fast as it had begun, 2 hours later the battle is over. Po'uvn sends apologies for the council members, and fighting has flared up everywhere on the planet. The planetside group gives their report, and Iceheart thinks that the Suisen Empire can only remain neutral for a week at best. Erevis gives them a new mission: Find out who the third group is before it's too late.

Date: 10-608.2.16

Session 375: Crossings

A week passes and no signs of the third party arise for Sammael's group. With little options left, Shretrav moves back to rejoin the civil war. Trev, wanting to get dirt on the council, suggests they take that route, however Typhoon pushes that they learn whatever Kyun is hiding first. She pushes a little too far, and Trev begins to leave, however Sammael manages to get her to take them with her, provided Typhoon stay away from Trev.

On the PAX, Erevis chooses to make a decision on which group to side with, having let the fighting go on much longer than she likes. Under Ama's council, she chooses to side with Kyun, who, unlike the Council, is honest with the Suisen Empire and offers to share his information with them. This difference, honesty, is all that is needed to sway her choice, Erevis calls a meeting of the senate.

On Earth, Peter and Bobby are going over the usefulness of the robots that Tabetha has concocted for the unit, and Bobby suggests a line of action figures. Tabetha happily agrees and demands karate chop action. The group gets a call however, Tess informs them that the Senate has decided to send their unit and only one other ship to aid the Suisen due to their losses in the last conflict. The group gets ready to take to space aboard a new ship Tess managed to get for their group since their missions would largely be offworld from now on.

Erevis convenes the PAX Senate and informs them of her decision, then calls for a vote to see if the allied groups will join her in battle. The vote comes up 20 to 7 in favor of aiding the Suisen Empire and many races lend ships to the battle effort. Erevis informs the others and Ama gets her siblings ready for godlike battling.

Peter's group boards their ship and begins to get situated, Taiga and Ouka having snuck on board. Naomi comes up to 'look around', but Isara tries to get her to leave before they have to go. Peter meets Captain Crane, relation to Denny Crane, and after making sure the aged captain and his even more aged ship are ready, links up with them to go to Hyperspace. Isara fails to get Naomi off in time and the President's daughter goes with the group into battle.

Yasha's group meanwhile comes up on a guard station for the Council. Their assault is quick and deadly as Trev, Yasha Typhoon, and Iceheart take out the enemy with deadly force. Inspecting the bodies, they find a comms, a map, the insignias for Council supporters and an Athena Doll. This last item seems to shake Sammael to the core as each group they find after, Sammael pushes them to use nonlethal force. Using Telepathy tricks from Yasha, the group passes through a few without a problem, having to quickly fight the final group and knock them out using a diversion to send half of them away. They enter the Council's base.

Erevis joins Kyun down below with her people, here Kyun begins to reveal what he knows as he agreed. The revelation of Kyun's parentage comes forth, he is the son of an alternate version of Erevis who was raped by Xevil. After coming to the Prime Reality, he first planned to follow his father's footsteps, but after seeing Erevis, he began to emulate her and now only seeks to do good. He shows them among his secret creations, a replica of the Time Travel chair and a new invention to track reality tears. This came about from his innate ability to sense the tears forming around the Tsivrixsh Empire.

Here is where he tells them the greatest problem, that they're increasing in number, and he seeks a way to fix it. However to use his device, it needs to be elevated far above the palace, with that in mind, Erevis has it sent to Peter's ship. Their time of revelation is interrupted however, when Isis is grabbed by a mechanical arm from outside and taken away, likely to the Council's base.

10-608.2.20
Erevis has been held off from combat due to the Council sending images of Isis, threatening her death if the Suisen Empire makes a move. Peter suggests challenging the honor of the Council, as hiding behind a hostage would be seen as a deep dishonor to the enemy fleet. Getting ready to broadcast this, they set up a joint operation, Ama taking her Siblings and an Athena down to the surface to rescue Isis at the same time that the fleet moves.

The battle begins and on Peter's ship, the group, thanks to Taiga posing as a soldier, discover a strange reading on the scanners. Peter passes on the information to the fleet and Erevis deems they should watch it. Captain Crane moves the SS Legal into a battle charge, having to be supported by Peter's ships' shields. However, the reckless manuever distracts the enemy fleet from other ships, which all begin to open fire on the enemy.

Yasha's group wakes in pain and having lost the last four days, they slowly come around as they hear two members of the council discussing their fate with Admiral Khantrev. As they leave the group to Khantrev, they begin to awaken and fight back, Iceheart taking a blow for her daughter, left in critical condition. The group begins to escape their bonds and come after Khantrev, Elwyn seeking to chase him down while the others get Iceheart down and heal her, saving her life.

Elwyn becomes overwhelmed trying to fight the ten guards who stand between her and Khantrev, however, she is soon joined by Typhoon, James, Yasha and the Gitari warriors with them. As the group fights their way, Yasha delays Khantrev escaping via a lift. Typhoon and James eventually pass a beaten up Elwyn, who gets help from Ethan, to take down Khantrev himself, slaughtering the Admiral.

While this happens, Trev and Sammael take an airduct and continue on to find whatever it was that took their memories. The Gods land gracefully, according to CHIP's records, by crashing into the Council Building. Here they are greeted by outraged council members, who they kill without hesitation. They notice cameras filimg this and take them out. Finding a chamber below the council, they come on more council members and more cameras, standing over a sleeping Isis.

The council seems genuinely shocked at their arrival, claiming Isis is a guest. The gods spare them, but the room suddenly explodes, and despite being protected, the council members are turned to char. Inspecting the bodies, Athena finds evidence that they had bombs planted on them, and it seems like the council is being killed off as a frame job.

Sammael and Trev arrive and inform the group of what happened to them, and the others arrive as well and after discovering and taking the anti-brain wash pills, remember what is happening. The Illium are present and working with the 13th Council Member, Po'uvn, using the Council pins to control the minds of the Tsivrixsh people and open reality tears to bring down the reality. The team begins to head for the secret lab where this is all happening.

In Space, Crane's ship finally goes down, and Peter begins directing the forces to not let up the assault when a strange signal comes from all of the enemy ships. They replicate the strage reading the team discovered earlier and tears in reality begin to spread, disabling the Suisen fleet. The PAX struggles to maintain power and finds themselves unable to communicate with Peter or the fleet, all seems lost when the Striker appears in their reality and begins to take out ships. Peter's ship finally activates Kyun's device, which cancels out the reality tear and brings the fleet back online. The Council ships suddenly surrender, as though freed from mind control.

Down below, the group came upon the secret lab and caught Po'uvn red handed with Illium in company. Seeing the gods, the Illium begin to pull out and they murder Po'uvn. Sammael and James attempt to stop an erase of the lab's data but fail, having to recover the drives. When Po'uvn dies, the mind control lapses.

10-608.2.21
On PAX, families are reunited and the injuries of the teams are treated by the medical staff. On Tsiv'ra, Kyun and Ao discuss what will need to be done to recover the Tsiv Empire and the PAX will have to remain in the system for some time to assist. On Asteroid C, Cheryl coordinates as Miyuki and Wind create doorways into the Alternate and Classic reality, leaving one last door, marked P, unchanged for now.

Date: 10-608.2.28

Session 376: PAX

On the PAX,
In Tsiv'ra space, Peter's ship detects an anomoly near the moon. The disturbance begins giving off signals from decades ago and in the far future. Tracking it, he informs the PAX about it and after discussing it with Erevis, moves the ship in to follow a Tsivrixsh vessel which is also tracking it, having reported seeing a strange space station near the moon. Peter keeps his distance as not to cause an incident while Erevis and a team get on a shuttle to go see it as well.

As Peter hangs back, the Tsvirxsh vessel vanishes and reality changes, members of the crew vanishing entirely and Xanatos Durran appearing on deck with others, as around Peter's ship, an EarthGov fleet appears, aimed at a Tsivrixsh fleet. Erevis' ship begins to feel changes when Ama feels her miko freaking out.

On earth, Miyuki senses the change in reality and she leaps through a mirror to join Ama on the shuttle, several members of the Nue household following her through. Miyu arrives in time to protect the shuttle with a reality bubble. The group remaining realizes that reality has changed around them due to a shift in the timeline, they follow the Tsivrixsh vessel through the rift.

On the other side, they find the battleship facing down against four EarthGov vessels, a dead looking PAX behind them. The Tsiv vessel breaks off and heads back for Tsiv'ra, claiming the actions of Earth are dishonorable. The PAX vessel escapes as well, cloaking and going around the EarthGov vessels. They decide to leave the Tsiv vessel up to the judgement of realizing what's happened and investigate the station.

Landing, they find the station abandoned, looking like it has never been used. Jennifer, trying to make sense of it, confuses herself and everyone by trying to think up a time the station sat unused, however, as that never happened, she just gets frustrated and seems special. Gor uses his skills to start downloading the station's database as the others explore, when a vision of several months prior occurs as reality around the station bends.

They see a scene of Alexander Cran with Spade, shortly before his supposed death, where he discusses this secret PAX2 which was built as an ultimate battle station, meant to use Project W.I.N.D. to make it unstoppable. Something which would later be used to power the Ragnarok.
As the vision ends, Miyuki feels reality tearing around the station and swallowing it up, the group has to race to the shuttle, barely escaping before being sent through yet another tear.

Popping out near the PAX3, at a time when the PAX2 is still around and sending shuttles over to the doomed to fail attempt at Galactic Unity. Moving to the station and docking, the group is greeted by Xanatos Durran, who pays them little mind. The group wanders the station and discovers they are present on the station on 10-586.8.8, one day before Xevil would kidnap Ariel and Erevis, then rape and torture Erevis while Ariel refused to give Xevil information.

Thinking it's a good idea to leave, a Tsivrixsh ship appears in space above the PAX and takes the younger Erevis a day early. The group rushes to the shuttle, as Erevis and her family begin to fade, getting there just a little too late, Athena popping from existence, sending Jennifer into a rage. The group shuttles over towards the Tsiv ship and flies in towards it, Ao dodging fire as a younger Ariel, with past Megumi, reveal they've followed the group out of interest.

Ariel uses her link to Erevis to pinpoint where she's been taken, and Miyuki realities the group into Xevil's chamber to find the Young Erevis being tortured. Erevis uses her hyperspace to take down the barrier protecting Xevil and the team begins to lay rightous anger into him. They spare his life and tie him up as not to screw up reality more, then erase the minds of Xevil, Ariel, Megumi and Young Erevis of any memories involving the reality incident.

Returning them each to where they belong resets the problems and returning to their time and reality, the group finds Athena in the back of the shuttle okay and reality as it should be restored. They land on the PAX and revel in a job well done.

Session 377: Brave New Empire I

On the PAX, the Senate meets over the vote to accept the Erusian submission to the PAX Senate. Things go rather smoothly very little objection to allowing in the race of blueberries. Meanwhile on Peter's base, the group returns home to find their bace now has biweekly tours, a reconfigured layout and in the very least for good news, upgrades. However, it seems Bobby has cut off the hidden teleporter to the mansion, stranding Lorelei. The group settles back in as Peter makes some plans for extraction.

10-608.3.8
The Erusians now part of the PAX Senate, the votes move to the Tsivrxish submission. Things are not going so smoothly, many of the newer and younger worlds arguing that taking on the Tsivrixsh debt would be detrimental, while the older governments seem largely in support, looking for the long term.

In Pio's bar, Shretrav drinks and tries to ignore jeers, while Atleans buy her some drinks and snobbish new senators get kicked out of the bar by Jem for catterwhaling. Ulieah attempts to cheer up Shrev, as does Elwyn, both seem to fail though, and Shrev seems deeply bothered about something but doesn't tell anyone what. If only Yasha would snuggle up and ask her.

10-608.3.10
The first tour of the Mountain Base ends and Bobbly announces he's done with his missions of making them financially sound. Moving to go, he bumps right into a disguised, sleepwalking Cheryl and sees right through her disguise. The group plays dumb, but ultimately the truth of who she is is given freely, Peter cuffs her and they are ordered to bring her directly before the EarthGov Senate for trial.

On the PAX, Erevis discusses a need to push the vote for the Tsivrixsh, as Kyun has had an attempt on his life and the Senate is fillibustering a vote. She is deeply hesitant to do so, and Megumi of all people shows up in the meeting to offer to protect Kyun. Due to her position, the offer is ultimately refuted and Megumi leaves. As she is leaving, Erevis speaks to Tess Arakawa,
handing her the charter needed to bring a government into the Empire.

10-608.3.11
A little after midnight, Lorelei returns from questioning, the rest of the group sent back earlier. She reports that they're still questioning Cheryl and since she doesn't have god powers, at the very least she won't be imprisoned in the reality vault. Lorelei acts on instructions and tells Peter they need to contact Tess and Darien. Tess is out of reach, but Darien reacts instantly sending in a hot shot lawyer, Denny Crane, to defend Cheryl. The group discusses possibilities and alerts Angela of what's going on, who seems to make some sort of move to inform Tess.

On the PAX, Tess ignores her messages and contemplates her next move while Erevis discusses the risk Tess is taking with using the powers that the Senate gave her to make EarthGov a part of the Suisen Empire. Erevis hopes EarthGov doesn't tear itself apart in its reactions.

Session 378: Brave New Empire II

The team continues to prepare it's defense for Cheryl, each in their own way, as Denny Crane hones his skills for the trial through playing darts. Denny proposes a public calling out of the senate and demanding an open trial, he volunteers Chii and Lorelei for a pity party and leads them out for a press conference. Peter seems to just let things go along as they will, perhaps letting people light their own fires.

At a park with a statue of military heroes such as Warren, Darien and Cheryl, the news crew gets ready to roll when men in black with black carts drive up, accompying Senator Fisher. Fisher, having sent a cease and desist to the news crew, looks pissed and she makes it plain that their actions are only making things worse. Angeloa and Darien arrive and look over the form she presents, which prevents anyone from making public the information on the trial. Denny suggests going public outside Earth's channels and Taiga descides she's going to do just that. Angela tries to talk her out of it but fails, getting them all to at least see Cheryl and ask for her thoughts before making any further choices.

Cheryl of course, is all for playing by the rules, and after Taiga goes running off to make things public, sends Chii to look after her and try and talk her down.

10-608.3.12

On the PAX, the Senate is brought on the matter of allowing the Tsivrixsh Empire to become part of the Suisen, and as such, Suisen paying for the Tsivrixsh incident and helping to rebuild. Despite some protesting, the majority agree and vote yay on the matter. The next matter comes as a shock, as Tess has presented Earth to also join the Empire. Isara delivers a LONG speech that loses the poor Ridarium Senator's attention, but he is brought back to conciousness in time to vote. The Senate votes favorably, and the contract, however legal, is signed and Earth becomes the next member of the Suisen Empire.

Back on Earth, Taiga and Denny return to the base as Fisher enters the base with armed guards to arrest them. With things starting to spiral out of control, the news of Cheryl and the god powers getting out, Peter negotiates that Chii accompany Taiga with Fisher and they are led off. Tess arrives and she and Peter both have amazingly shocking news to share with one another. Peter begins to understand why Warren loved pain killers so much.

10-608.3.13

The group is allowed in to see Cheryl and Taiga, and Fisher confronts Tess over what she did, handing over Earth to the Suisen. Tess makes it plain that it's really too late for Fisher to do anything about it, but Fisher promises retaliation. As she leaves, the group starts to discuss their feelings, everyone forgetting they are in a monitored room. Miyuki reminds everyone and they choose to leave.

10-608.3.14

A pardon, a sacking, a change. Darien gets everyone to turn on the news to see Fisher pardoning Cheryl, at the same tim playing clips, carefully chosen, of the groups conversation the previous day. Fisher puts it all on the group and announces there will be changes. She shuts down the military and calls for a reevaluation, and pushes a vote for EarthGov to see if the people will go along with becoming part of the Empire, anyone who disagrees invited to join the Senate in starting a NeW EarthGov. As if on cue, people come into the base to begin shutting it down, and Peter starts to follow proceedure, calling up the newly made General McCormick to see about transferring the group to his unit. He agrees, and people begin to pack their bags, the mountain base no longer their home.

Peter calls a meeting and announces the plan to transfer, and takes the blame for the entire thing, saying he could have pushed everyone to act more accordingly and prevented the situation. The group mostly chooses to transfer with him, while some consider retirement and new lives.

10-608.3.17

The group moves to the Vatican, where a city is being established within the base for all the families of John's unit. Peter signs up as John's XO and the group begins to settle into new roles and new homes. Cheryl having transferred a copy of the Nue mansion to the city using holo-technology. The Zodiacs meet up, together still, and everyone seems like they're at least going to be happy managing to stay together.

10-608.3.23

While Cheryl stands naked in her new yard, the P door is finally connected, opening into the plaza of the Base City. Michelle out jogging sees Warren sticking his head out of nowhere and decides she's hallucinating, jogging home. The Nue family settles down to relax a little bit, troubles on the horizon, but for a moment, there's some peace.
