<DeathStar> Last Time:
<DeathStar> PAX City - Earth Prime 6.1.10-636
<DeathStar> A bank explodes a couple blocks away from the PAX Museum and Transportation Center (and temporary EarthGov Headquarters) with no immediate cause or alarms being triggered. Initial suspicions are that there was a robbery. Members of the ‘old guard’ arrive, curious and standing by to assist; Cheryl, Miyuki, Si, Shu, Ben, Darien and even Rea look on from various locations. As Shu starts to use her vines to move rubble to look for survivors there is some tense emotions with the local police since it’s their responsibility. However suspicions are raised when the first bodies are found its arms and legs still bound by heavy duty restraints.
<DeathStar> Darien leads Cheryl, Miyuki, Si and Shu to his home to review the security camera recordings he has access to since he owned the bank; not accepting Shu’s offer to raise one of the bodies and question it. Upon viewing the recording they see ten armed and armored figures quickly take over the bank and subdue the employees and innocents, moving quickly into the back of the bank and setting up what appears to be a powerful drill; it’s at that point that the video feed is lost. When Darien tries to access the PAX Info Net his systems are immediately assaulted by a computer virus; and he is forced to sever the connection while a call is put out to Ash to clear out the virus.
<DeathStar> Cheryl meanwhile decides to get a new ‘special unit’ created and starts by contacting Lorelei to coordinate; the call going out to all of the old allies that are able to respond in short order. It’s several hours before a large group has gathered; Cheryl, Darien, Miyuki, Lorelei, Taiga, Fiona, Lumi, Ash, Mal, Shu, Jason, Peter, Michelle, Tabetha, Angela, Si, Cheria, Chery-Lemonade, Cassandra, Erevis, Rea, Elwyn, Myria (in disquise), Isa and Necia in attendance. The meeting quickly gets to the point, addressing the bank explosion and suggesting that it was a ruse to gain access to the PAX Transporters via underground service routes. Suspicions arise that this may be an attempt to attack the Suisen Empire Planets by sending explosives through the transporters.
<DeathStar> Erevis quickly decides to act upon her Former Empress Authority to temporarily shut down the transporters; Cheryl, Miyuki, Ash, Robb, Michelle, Taiga and a few others deciding to go with her as escort and guards. The others get the privilege (or disgust?) to head down into the sewers and attempt to catch the assault party; which after a failed attempt to take out Darien, thanks to Rea, they arrive at a room with five of the attackers. Trip-wires are triggered as well as explosives before the five are subdued; their armor seeming to absorb or deflect most attacks, the only weakness being in the eye holes. Several of the members of the party start to display their unique capabilities, some relying more on developed skills. As Shu attempts to scrye for the remaining attackers, the others turn their attention to the bodies; revealed are humanoids bearing artificial grafts and bone extrusions, a race that nobody has encountered before. Lumi chewing on one of the attackers guns like a nyla-bone.
<DeathStar> At the same time, after Erevis has disabled the transporters, another ‘Darien’ approaches and attempts to get them to turn the transporters back on; offering up a box containing equipment belonging to the attackers, they fail to accept his word as truth though and set about trying to contact the sewer group for confirmation. Ash and Cassandra being the most ready to skewer or blast Darien it seems; ready to spring when he goes to pull out a cigarette but being warned by Miyuki to not do that because of the presence of the bosom-bound kitties. Miyuki starts trying to get ahold of the Sewer Group using a communicator.
<DeathStar> The sewer group meanwhile has caught up with the remaining attackers who are locked in a room and drilling up towards the PAX Transporters; using Isa’s foxhole the group bypasses any traps set on the door and immediately set about subduing the armored attackers, and afterwards realizing that they’re missing one from the known total of 10. Fiona tries to scan for the last member but discovers something troubling; the members of this particular race seem resistant to psionic scans.
<DeathStar> It isn’t long before Lorelai is able to establish contact with the Transporter Group, notifying them of the situation; she’s asked however whether Darien had left them earlier, to which Darien speaks over the comm and confirms the suspicion of Cassandra and Ash as ‘Darien’ starts slowly retreating down the hallway and dropping his pack of cigarettes into a trash receptacle. Ash leaps into action and tries to tackle the fleeing attacker, and a fast and furious brawl erupts before the last member of the assault team lies dead on the ground. The trash receptacle from earlier spewing forth a corrosive gas that most individuals have already given a respectful space to.
<DeathStar> As the day ends Cheryl reviews the after-action reports and files on the new faces; deciding to bring them all together as a series of teams under the moniker of “Special Unit”. Shu being pressed to wear actual clothing of some sort.

<Sathen> 6*Rea sits in the cafeteria drinking some tea, Orihime continues to slink around in fox form and look at things*
<DeathStar> 6* He opens the door to the lab area for Megumi for her research
<DeathStar> 6* Part of it using Progenitor tech
<DeathStar> 6* Then makes notes
<Seraphna> * Angela takes notes looking over their vehicle situation, and raises a brow at some of Tabetha's robot requests. Wondering if they're secretly related.
<Sathen> 6*Orihime pokes her head in through the door of the lab and peeks at the activity*
<DeathStar> 6* Darien signs off and moves over to Angela. "I wonder where everyone is. I know I had it so the younger people were off today, so us older people could catch up today, but it feels like so many people are gone today."
<DeathStar> <Darien> Even Erevis.
<Seraphna> Angela> "Mmm, you know how it is, we all went and got families."
<Seraphna> Angela> "Mi'Na's watching our two youngest right now." *she taps her head, indicating the bond*
<Seraphna> * Jennifer arrives with some medical supplies to stock, her hair pulled back showing off her famfrit ears.
<DeathStar> <Darien> I guess so.
<Sathen> 6*Ori sneaks in and looks for somewhere to lay down and watch the others*
<Seraphna> * Angelos appears right next to Angela and Darien, smirking a bit. "It sure is quiet here."
<DeathStar> 6* Darien's datapad beeps, and he checks the message. "Lenneth is asking if we've seen Erevis. Excuse me, Empress Lenneth."
<DeathStar> 6* Darien replies no.
<Seraphna> * Angela raises a brow. "Does Erevis escape notice often?" *she seems to ignore Angelos' antics*
<Kemonohime> * Megumi pinches Orihime by the scruff and ejects her from the lab
<kalonLappy> 6*Mi'Na slides up next to Angela, also ignoring her brother in law's antics
<DeathStar> <Darien> I have no idea.
<DeathStar> <Darien> Though I have noticed she is going around naked a lot lately
<DeathStar> <Darien> *he flips through some paperS* REminds me of olden days
<Sathen> 6*Ori ruffles and gets ejected, a small poof a flame curling up from her nose at the indignity*
<Seraphna> * Angela blinks a bit. "That it does." *she wraps an arm around Mi'Na, assuming Cheria has been stuck with babysitting the Lightning and Ice babies.*
<DeathStar> 6* Darien puts up some paperwork, then eyes a new message stating simply: Find my mother, old man
<DeathStar> <Darien> You would think Erevis was a dog
<Seraphna> Angela> "Is there a reason she might be regressing?" *she looks to Angelos* "Did Elder do that?"
<Seraphna> Angelos> "I wish."
<Sara> * Kaori peers into the cafeteria, still getting her bearings
<DeathStar> 6* Darien moves to main computer and scans for Erevis on the compound, getting negative
<kalonLappy> <Mi'Na> Oh shush. Don't complain you have a nice milfy thing attached to you.
<Seraphna> Angela> "You could see if Megumi tagged her."
<Seraphna> * Angelos shrugs. "Not complaining, I just like seeing my wife naked."

<Seraphna> * Jennifer finishes with the supplies and leaves a treat from Athena at Megumi's lab.

<Sara> * Kaori gets herself the most caffienated drink she can and sits in the cafeteria to drink it

<Sara> * Kaori gives a poppy bright smile as a response, though it almost seems like she's staring into space rather than looking at Rea

<Sara> * Kaori pulls out a handheld gaming system and starts playing with one hand while she sips her drink using the other
<Sathen> 6*Orihime leans against the wall near the door and listens to them, watching out for Megumi*

<kalonLappy> 6*She sits next to Angela and helps search
<Seraphna> * Jennifer joins the others, yawning a bit, peering around. "Something up?"
<DeathStar> <Darien> No sign of her energy signature in PAX City
<DeathStar> <Darien> I hope she hasn't been kidnapped again
<DeathStar> 6* Darien sips some earl gray
<Seraphna> * Jennifer blinks. "Momma E's missing again?"
<DeathStar> <Darien> Yes. Probably no coincidence that Ama is away on some mission that this happened. And we have Megumi here working on the device to cross over to the mirror universe
<DeathStar> 6* Darien leans back in his chair
<Seraphna> * Jennifer's ears droop as she frowns. "How would we go about tracking her?"
<DeathStar> <Darien> Well, we have to assume she was taken I guess. It's not like her to wander off. Right?
<DeathStar> 6* Darien rises, adjusting his suit
<Seraphna> Jennifer> "Well... mmm... not at least without someone noticing?"
<Sathen> 6*Orihime watches from the side and hopes they don't ask her to follow a scent*
<Seraphna> Jennifer> "I bet Leyaeh is panicking and ripping apart the PAX right now."
<DeathStar> <Darien> Well, if you were a self-proclaimed goddess, where would you go? She's obviously not on the PAX, nor on the segment on the ground
<Seraphna> Jennifer> "What about her side home in Japan?"
<DeathStar> <Darien> Does she still own that?
<DeathStar> 6* Darien rises
<Seraphna> Jennifer> "I think so... she liked to use it as a private umm... place... for her, Momma Meg and Ama."
<DeathStar> <Darien> Alright. Let me go get the Darien Jet
<DeathStar> 6* Darien moves to the lower levels
<kalonLappy> <Mi'Na> It's okay, Jennifer, you can say harem house.
<Seraphna> * Jennifer blushes a bit and turns to follow. Angela looks up and grabs her gun belt off the rack. Having made one to match Sammael's.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien leans back. "Anyone who wants to come can."
<DeathStar> <Darien> This might be good practice.
<DeathStar> 6* Darien moves down to the hanger, approaching the jet
<Seraphna> * Angelos lets his wife know that he's going to find her doppleganger and moves to follow, as does Jennifer and Angela.
<kalonLappy> 6*Mi'Na heads with Angela, since she's also technically her bodyguard, secretary, and baby-helper
<Sathen> 6*Orihime will follow after Jennifer*
<Sara> * Kaori looks up from her game and looks around, ears twitching slightly, wondering what's going on
<DeathStar> 6* Darien climbs the ramp and gets into the seat. The shuttle/jet has been designed to have Darien's name on the dash board, along with fluffy dice hanging overhead, and a music player with Darien's favorite tunes
<Sathen> 6*Rea glances sideways to Kaori and her ear twitches* "Something wrong?"
<Kemonohime> * Megumi leans forward and turns the tunes off.
<kalonLappy> <Mi'Na> Dear, don't forget in 3 days your steakhouse is hosting a big party for one of the PAX senators
<Seraphna> * The Sera squad climbs up.
<Seraphna> Jennifer> "Seems Momma M knew we were heading out to save Momma E."
<Kemonohime> * Then Megumi takes the co-pilot seat, crossing her legs and arms.
<Sathen> 6*Orihime takes a seat quietly and looks around to everyone else*
<Sara> <Kaori> I think people are leaving.
<DeathStar> <Darien> *hangs head* My music list...
<kalonLappy> 6*Mi'Na follows up behind Angela. Specifically behind. She likes behind while walking.
<Seraphna> * Angela and Angelos take seats across from each other. Giving each other wary clone sibling eyes.
<Kemonohime> * Megumi pulls out a remote and hits a button, starting some ridiculously remixed mix of a mix of the dance party Mortal Kombat theme.
<Seraphna> * Jennifer giggles as she takes a seat.
<Sathen> 6*Rea nods* "You interested in seeing what they're up to?"
<kalonLappy> 6*Mi'Na sits next to Angela, handing her a datapad she needs to sign
<DeathStar> 6* Darien sits there. "With this music, are we going to go blow up Tokyo?"
<DeathStar> 6* He powers up the shuttle jet
<Seraphna> Jennifer> "Wouldn't be the first time."
<Kemonohime> * Megumi eyes him deadpannedly, then clicks another button, switching to a mellow song. "Just kidding."
<Seraphna> * Angela sighs without taking her gaze from the gazing match.

<DeathStar> <Darien> Alright, lets go. *Kaori would see the shuttle slowly moving forward, the ramp almost closed if she doesn't run and jump

<Sara> * Kaori blinks and waves her arms, not wanting to be left behind
<Sathen> 6*Rea will smile and follow after her, and helping her up into the Shuttle before he gets in*

<Seraphna> * Jennifer pauses at the last one. "Wha..."

<DeathStar> 6* He soon, as in a few minutes, flies over Tokyo, and then zooms over the suburbs, landing in the street, right in front of Megumi and Erevis' old home 30+ years ago

<DeathStar> 6* Darien walks up to the house and knocks. A moment later, Erevis answers it, wearing nothing but an apron. The moment she sees Darien, she narrows her eyes and blasts him with a wave of psionics, sending him flying back through a fence into her garden that she has begun to grow, sending him flipping a few times

<Seraphna> Jennifer> "What the heck!?"
<DeathStar> 6* Darien lays there, dirt all over his suit, wishing he brought his armor

<Sara> * Kaori raises an eyebrow at all of this
<DeathStar> 6* Darien limps over, making a few noises
<Sara> * Kaori pulls out her handheld and starts playing again for a moment
<Seraphna> Jennifer> "It's... possible something's up with her Progenitor side."
<DeathStar> 6* Darien leans on the house wall

<Seraphna> * Jennifer nods and knocks, being family.

<Sara> * Kaori ponders and goes back, grabs the plushie, moves to the door, and knocks while holding it up, just to see what happens
<Seraphna> * Jennifer nods. "It's like her memory has regressed quite a bit."

<DeathStar> 6* Erevis opens it, a slight look of annoyance at all the interruptions, then pauses at the plushie, tilting her head at it.
