The Night Before

Hearts & Family

written by Gabriella Creighton (Seraphna)

8:30 AM

Jennifer Carmichael-Zhenmei awoke in her bed, with her wives, Athena and Sammael, she looked down at their sleeping forms cuddled into her, her kitten with long snow white hair and her raven haired dragoness. She smiled to see Love, her daughter, having snuck into the bed to cuddle into them as well, with CL beginning to rouse from sleep in her crib. Jennifer had many daughters, but Lilien would be snoozing with her guardians, Ulieah and Gem, while Heaven was under the care of Nevaeh, or Tamara.

Simply put, Jennifer's family had seemingly multiplied since last Christmas, where she was once the adopted sister of Athena, living in the same house as the Zhenmei's, now she was a matriarch of her own little army. It was a change that brought warmth to her heart. Something else that brought warmth to her heart was the sight of Athena yawning cutely and stretching.

Jennifer leant over and met her lips with a deep kiss, looking into the eyes of her lover, her mate, her wife. She purred gently as she felt down her side.

It was going to be a good morning indeed.

9:30 AM

Plotting, that was the Carmichael way. Sending out a message in the usual secret way, Jennifer let her father and brother know she wished them a Merry Christmas and asked what they wanted. Then peered at the food she was making. She smiled down at Love, who hung onto her leg and mewled for her morning fish, and that was what she cooked. Jennifer had begun to meld her DNA with Famfrit to attempt to match her aging with Athena, so they could live together as long as possible, and it had some side effects, a love of fish was one of them.

She pet the girl's rich brown hair, humming a song as she bustled, she had strangely found the freezer door open when she stepped in, but with the diminished amount of fish inside she decided it was probable that Ako and Iko had helped themselves this morning. MUsing over that, she continued to cook, which soon drew in Athena, who carried CL, and then Sammael, she peered over her kittens and smiled, starting to serve them all.

She sat beside Athena, feeding CL little bits of fish flavored baby food, her own special formula. Today was going to be a fine day.

12:00 PM

Jennifer groaned, holding her head. Every holiday brought something that had slipped her mind, holiday themed sickness. She sat in medical peering at a series of charts, upset stomaches, overdrinking, and various other sicknesses. She eyed the time, she still had time till the concert, she'd made arrangemens to have the medical bay covered while she attended it and the party.

Sighing, she prioritized the smaller cases to nurses and moved out of her office to check over a patient claiming to have severe stomach pains. As she did, she passed Tamara, her eldest daughter. She admired how beautiful her child, 19 years, old had become. Perhaps there was some irony there, her daughter had been thrown back in time, forced to grow up on her own, and was now older, and more mature then she was. She caressed the girl's hair, Tamara gave a very Warren like grunt of annoyance, mumbling about concentration, which forced Jennifer to laugh.

She approached the patient and stared a little, a Vapaad floated at the edge of the bed rather then lying down on it. She'd somehow missed the marker for a Vapaad patient. First, they rarely came to medical for any reason, second, they didn't have stomaches.

"Can I help you?" She said simply, putting a hand on her hip.

"The Child from Distant Stars asks questions without answers." The reverberating voice stated. Always with a slight pause before speaking, as the encounter suit's translators turned native Vapaad into Basic.

"No poetry. What's up?"

The Vapaad hesitated, but then focused a camera on it's suit on her. "Trouble consuming."

Jennifer nodded and peered at him, before closing the blinds to the room and crossing her arms. "Yoshye or Codye?" The fact that she even knew to ask this strange question took the Vapaad aback. "...Yoshye." It finally replied and opened it's suit, bright light filled the room.

1:45 PM

It was a nice break, she'd stepped into the private staging area where Athena was preparing the concert, picked the girl up and pulled her into the back. Now they lay on a large silk sheet that was intended as a backdrop, Jennifer ran her fingers down Athena's tummy and hips gently, smiling at her and looking into her eyes. "And don't tell me you didn't need that either, you work too hard."

Athena merely nuzzled into her breasts and bit down gently on one. Causing Jennifer to sigh softly, she was well used to her kitten's affections, and pet the woman's ear softly. Their ears were sensitive, shooting flashes of pleasure through the body with the right stroke, and Jennifer was amazingly skilled with her fingers.

She rolls over Athena, kissing her deeply, then down her neck softly. "Mmm. Are you prepared for our duet, my love?"

Athena smiled and nodded, "Hai! Though should wear clothes for stage!"

4:15 PM

Jennifer say back against Sammael and smiled up at her. "Your parents are sweet, how come we haven't kidnapped them on board yet?" She peered at the still image of thier last relay message to Pegasus colony. It took a lot of effort to get messages across in the current state of things, but it was mae easier having friends on Earth who had excuses to be contacting the home colony the two girls shared. Angela Bennet was also from Pegasus. There may have been some sort of irony in that.

Sammael leaned down and kisses Jennifer on the lips, pulling her closer. The two had hit it off remarkably well, since Sammael was recreated in Athena's dream reality. They had shared a common love and obsession, Athena, and built around that a love for one another. Jennifer was happy with her three way marriage, she loved both her wives very much. "Now for my part of the deal, ready to head down?"

Sammael grinned and nodded. "Yes, we should attend to operation Lemon before it gets too late."

6:30 PM

Jennifer had another love to attend to, her first and one she would never leave entirely. Sammael distracted Lemon asking about a special Christmas cake, when the Love Thief swooped down and took her from the mess hall. Peter, the only other one in the hall at the time, rolled his eyes, somehow able to tell it was Jennifer, the giant breasts may have been a hint, but she would never know.

Arriving in Lemon's room, Jennifer and Sammael tackled her and dressed the girl up in a red santa costume, a skimpy one piece dress that fell halfway down the thighs, and was cut so deep that it left very little to the imagination in the breast department. Topping it off with red felt stockings and a santa hat, the girls leaned back, admiring their work. The two giggled and Jennifer held up a small present.

"What's this?" Lemon asked, taking the gift in hand as the two watched her.

"Something you already have." Jennifer smiled, as Lemon pulled out a small necklace, a third of a heart on it.

Lemon stared at it, peering as she tilted her head. "I don't understand?"

"You'll always have a piece of my heart, Lem... Athena and Sammael each get one too. You're my girls." Jennifer said with a grin, nuzzling Lemon. Lemon blushed.

"But Athena and Sammael are your wives." She replied, in concern perhaps that Jennifer stretched her feelings too thin.

"And you're my family. Now and forever."
