Biotects:

Biotects are general made on Kumen. There are various models, ranging from Model I up to Model X. The models up to Model VIII are rather mundane and look more robotic than human, but starting with the Models VIII's, the Corporations began to make them feel and touch and act more human. They were placed into the work force in jobs such as hard labor and sex jobs in order to fulfill a niche that was required.

However, the very rare Model X's are made from true humans - either through legal or non-legal methods. Usually a person that was on the brink of death is made into a Biotect Model X and has the fully capabilities of a human - to a point.

Biotects, all models, are capable of connecting to the Net and most technology. Some are even capable of connecting with Spirit Tech, since the Net is technically another form of the spirit realm through the lens of technology. Biotects also make great NetRunners.

Biotects gained their rights at full citizenship after the fall of the Corporations thanks to Asarar's team and Ymir, as well as Kumen being colonized outside just Kumen City, but in recent years a lot of that has been slowly reversed back to the old days as a new President has stepped up and older Biotect models up to Model VIII have had their rights restricted once more.

This is the only race that does not have a halfling race, no matter if you were once a human. If a Biotect has a child - such as Bella - the child will take on the human characters of the parent since Biotects X so far have been made from humans exclusively. However, such a child will gain 1 special move from the Biotect set if they so wish, but are not forced.

Their lifespans so far seem to be limitless, mainly due to the fact how they've been transformed into cyborg like human machines. Even the Model X's lifespans are put into question.

You can take all 4 racial abilities of your choosing as you level up.

Biotect Stat Boost Bonus: +2 Strength, +2 Dexterity, +1 Willpower, +3 Intelligence, +2 Wisdom

Racial Ability A: Biotects can freely hook into any non-Net device without a consciousness once per session without an OG

Racial Ability B: Biotects can freely transition into the Net at any location once per session without an OG

Racial Ability C: Biotects are capable of fending off outside viruses/malware/invasion without an OG. This is a type of fireware to protect their more machine side. (serves as a type of inner shield for a time)

Racial Ability D: Doubles the Strength and Speed of the Biotect for a short time before they need to cool down and recover.
