Ent Plant Kingdom
History:
Great Forest Origins:
When life came to the forest is unknown - there was no record keeping done here for a long time. It is believed by the denizens that one day the plant life became sentient due to the Great Earth Spirit who wished to have Geyze itself as it's companions. This was around 3200 CE. The great forest itself had been on Geyze for eons, as long as the planet itself had been around almost and was maintained by the Great Earth Spirit. However, when the Earth Spirit created the Ent People, the flip side of creation made what was called the Acles, a type of plant people that were dark based and monsterous almost, compared to the beautiful Ent people.
Being plant based they are neither male or female, but they appear to be female, and are able to mate with any gender of any species. The Ents are only able to take 2 mates per their entire lives however and have four children. The Great Forest, due to it's large size and the trees being thick and full of various plant life, with flowers, vines, great trees the size of 5 story buildings, gave the Ents shelter and with the Acles being vastly different, the two species found themselves taking two quadrants of the forest, split down the middle.
The Acles, female based as well and more exotic, have the same traits as the Ents above, but they mate with tentacles, and place spores in their mates so they give birth to their children and they can give birth to an unlimited amount. Typically, 7 out of 10 times, the mate does not survive due to the spores killing them when they give birth. Only if an Acle truly cares about a mate will they aid in the birthing process.
Due to their nature, the Acles are more carnivous plants and control the vines and dark plants in the forest, using them to attack monsters or animals, or even the occassional humanoid wanderer, in the forest to give themselves substance, or their own tentacles to drain life. With the Ents being more life based, the two sides were immediately at odds and the Acles attempted to dominate them several times, with the Ents using plants and life on their side to repel them several times.
Eventually, in 3900 CE, the leaders of both groups decided to split the forest in half between both sides since they were just wasting energy, and so the great divide was made. Each side changed the forest according to their specifications, with the Ents making it more beautiful and life friendly, and the Acles making it more dark, the plants larger and tons of more vines, and making more monsters.
This situation continued for many hundreds of years, with the outside world basically oblivious to them, as people who came to the Great Forest typically got lost and were unware ofr the two races - the Ents attempted to steer them out lest the Acles got them, and the Acles would just eat them or mate with them, mostly fatally. If they did survive, they would just be kept in the village. Both of them built up their villages and lived their own lives peacefully, but sooner or later each group would become curious in the other.
Ent and Acles:
In the year 4400 CE, while both sides were suppose to avoid each other, after 500 years, some of the younger Acles and Ents were curious and began to meet in secret for a few years and eventually it led into pregnacies between the two groups, which was thought to be impossible. With Acles impregant with Ent babies and vice versa, the impossible had happened and Aents were created, a hybrid species. With traits from both, the tentacles and moves, yet weaknesses of both, the female looking Aents could mate with more and do more. But it sent both groups into a hysteria and they were hunted down by both groups, and sent away.
It is unknown how many exist today, but every now and then one is born due to a mixing of the plantlines.
The Great Forest Today:
Eventually both groups were discovered and invited onto the Geyze Council. With so many coming onto the planet from the Kumen Space Port and exploring the world, the Ents began to leave the Great Forest for the first time every after 5900 CE and mixing with other races, and even going to Kumen itself. The Acles to a degree began to do the same thing, though they are sometimes called different names, such as Venuses now in the public eye.
Trying to create a new image for themselves, the Venuses have been known to lure various species both on Kumen and Geyze to various places when they wish to mate, though the death rate is not always that high since they do not wish to get people to come after them. Both are on the Geyze Council, hoping to get the Great Forest more power to aid the Earth Spirit.
When the Academy became critical, they sent their best. Especially since the Great Forest is rich in spirit fossil.
Each of them, the Venuses and the Ent, have a matriach leader that oversees their affairs. For the Venuses, her name is Atropa. With a daughter at the age of 12, which is of mating age for them, and named Cassava; she is expecting to take over soon. The Ents' leader is Gi. She also has a daughter at the age of 11 named of Leaf. She is also expected to follow in her mothers' footseps.
As far as the Aents, they have no central leadership and their whereabouts are unknown. They are believed to live in the Great Forest, hidden by the Earth Spirit, and whenever one is born is guided to safety from the two groups.

The Great Earth Spirit is the Great Spirit who guides the Great Forest.
