During the Month of Project Night...
Over the previous few months, the situation with our heroes has grown dire. The PAX has come across a group of Others altering Black Holes, presumably turning them into wormholes for fast system to system travel. This would mean the collapse of Hyperspace was for nothing, the 15 years will turn into 15 months, the known species will fall. Determined to get to the bottom of it all and following a beacon of hope, the PAX begins it's trip to find what may very well be the true Erusian homeworld. The land that was before the Progenitors found them.
Heading into the region of space previously unexplored, where there are no stars but there is a minefield of black holes, the PAX leaps into Thirdspace and begins it's crossing. This place of darkness may seem empty, but it is not without it's threats. Over the last month the group has encountered some amazing things, some deadly enemies, and some very interesting new friends.
Trouble first began with en incursion of ghosts and spirits, the dead attacking and affecting the citizens of the PAX. Due to the increasign number of incidents, Miyuki was sent for to establish a new branch of Kitsune Udon on the PAX, with her, Del Giblin and Weapon X took up residence as well as her sister Kasha. This team began to respond to the frequent threats with extreme force.
Over the following month they would face an ancient ghost ship that attempted to take Yasha, a Tanuki who pretended to be a god in order to play with Ulieah, a Time-Consuming Demon of the Gitari Lore who attempted to eat Jennifer, Ulieah and Thomas' timelines, among many others. The goddess Tsukiyomi and a new Gitari god have seemed to make their way into the PAX Pantheon while the days tick by.
Del has grown spiritually and as a person, taking a strong center stage in Udon's activities, while X has started to show signs of cracking out of her shell. On the front of Cheryl's team, not much activity has occured since the recent incidents leading Cheryl to begin her hunt. However, the news of all the mythological beings appearing has troubled Cheryl greatly, as she feels it is a result of a leak in reality that she caused.
On the non-spiritual front, the Order has still been active. Leyaeh sent a team down to Earth during the window to recover Beverly, who was blackmailed into trading PAX secrets for the safety of her little sister. Thanks to Ulieah's sponsorship however, the girl was only given community service and forgiven for her transgression, her sister and herself taken in by the Singer as family. For the military's part, Peter led a squad to help retrieve the girl, and the operation went mostly smooth.
Relationships continue to develop, Angelos having seperated from Cheryl's unit, left behind a conflicted Kumiko, who has over the following months slowly brought herself into Cheryl's good graces by being herself. Angelos and Elder Erevis have gone underground, raising and training a small unit of Kumiko's Dragoon-Weapon Hybrid sisters. To what ends, only Angelos knows.
Miyuki's recent risks have sentenced her to be sent back to Earth to keep safe from all the dangers on the ship, while she hops back and forth chasing a mysterious Kitsune girl who has peeked her interest. Her relationship with Isis, and that between Hi'Saa and Kasha as well continues to form into a strong position. Erevis finds new love in Amataseru and Tsukiyomi, while Megumi continues to work on her new form of deep space travel, quiet in the background.
Zephyr has struggled with the damage done to her during the trip to the Alternate reality, seeming to be stuck between dimensions, zoning out at times to experience the other side, as her relationship with an Alternate Miyuki grows serious. On Earth, Hale and Em prepare for a marriage ceremony while Cheryl continues to deal with her mounting OCD over the issues presented. The returning Kitsune Udon begins to reopen shop, Kumiko delighted to have her friends back.
Following the attack on the Mansion, the Dragoons on the unit begin to adjust to their new Stigmata and the Guardians, not touch by Lorelei's actions, demand a PAX Guardian to return home to be studied. They're knocked off thier feet with Ariel herself volunteers for the task.
